Cold winds blow feverishly across the lands of Yunzabit, as a spacecraft looms overhead. The massive vessel isn't hard to notice, but luckily for its owner, not many were around to care. The olive green warship hovered above the stones below, looking for a suitable landing zone. It took a long while, but the pilot noticed a very peculiarly-shaped valley that was just deep enough to cradle the spaceship comfortably. Using some expert maneuvers, the ship was nestled tightly into its parking spot, landing without much issue. From inside the ship, a strange, static-filled voice would sigh. Letting his grip on the controls loosen, Doctor Breech-- or what was left of him-- fell back into his leather seat. It had been a long and stressful journey back from Konats, but he'd finally made it. Even if the only thing remaining of his original body was the brain jar he'd escaped in, he was proud of his own ability to evade detection by his foe. "Such a shame," his voice crackled. "With even the slightest bit of foresight, I could have easily kept my original form. I suppose it was high time for an upgrade anyways." His jar swiveled around in its seat, inspecting one of the other computers in the control deck. It was a log of all previous incarnations of Breeches mechanical body. There seemed to be a major, consistent flaw in each design: his body, while structurally sound and able to fight, was not designed for combat purposes. Every time push came to shove, his body wouldn't be up to the task of a real battle. In all his years of research, he'd never dreamed his failure would come from a lack of punching ability. The fluid in Breeches brain jar bubbled in disappointment. It would be easy to remake his old self; he had an abundance of Resillium stored in the laboratory at Gizard, and synthetic skin wasn't hard to come by. The mere thought of going back to that failure of a body, however, disgusted him. He needed to improve himself first. He needed to... Evolve. With newfound purpose, Breech moved his chair again, this time to the far end of the room. His metallic, crab-like claws tapped away at the keyboard, searching for something of vital importance. Within mere moments, he found it. Not far from here was a secret facility once owned by Capsule Corp. It was shut down years ago; before Breech even began his job there. Rumors told of a strange fiber being worked on there that was just as sturdy as Resillium, with twenty times the maneuverability. With a body made out of those fibers, Breech would be a serious threat. His synthetic voice crackled out a laugh, as his brain jar hopped off the chair. It skittered down the hall, making its way for the storage bay, where lots of Cycloids and Konatsian Cyborgs lay dormant...
A few hours later, Breech floated out of his ship, attached to the head of one of his strongest creations: Maximillion, the dummy king of Konats. The possessed machine carried Breech's brain jar atop its cranium like a parasite, its face contorted into a wicked grin against its will. With a burst of artificial Ki, Breech's puppet flew across the skies, being followed closely by two hulking Cycloids. It took a few minutes of searching, but Breech did find the place he was searching for. Disguised as a mountain, the large facilities natural camouflage had been damaged over the years, revealing the metal beneath the stone. The trio touched down at the entrance. Though Breech would usually employ tact, he felt particularly violent today. With a quick exertion of Maximillion's power, he punched a hole straight through the front door, causing it to fly off the handles and hit a wall on the far side of the facility. Breech stepped inside, causing the lights to flicker to life. He began to investigate the innards of the facility, unaware of the silent alarm which had just alerted anyone nearby of the break-in. It was an old place, that much was certain. Dust and cobwebs lined the sleek metal walls, and the lights flickered in and out of power every so often. Surprisingly enough, Breech had been in more worn-down places than this before. He passed by a large hole in the floor, peeking into the darkness it harbored. The abyss below reminded him of an old friend. He wondered how she was doing now. The Doctor gave a deep sigh, pushing past the hole and continuing his search. Surely he'd find the schematics he was looking for soon enough.

Great Saiya-man Neo stood atop the Satan Spire, one of the tallest buildings in North Capitol. It was also, as the name indicated, yet another dedication to an ancient Earth hero, seminal in stopping a multitude of intergalactic threats. Early in the days of Saiya-man Neo, Zucceta had briefly wondered if a re-branding to something related to Hercule Satan might be a better callback--very few people seemed to know about the hijinks of the original Great Saiyaman. You had to dive deep into internet archives and newspaper clippings to find any mention or celebration of that old hero. In the end, she'd kept to her original plan: she'd forge a new legacy in the image of a forgotten hero rather than ride the fame of a great one.
Her eyes surveyed the cityscape, lights flickering to life in the roads and sidewalks as the sun began to dip below the Yunzabit mountain-scape in the distant horizon. The honking of cars and chatter, laughter in the streets brought a smile to the saiyan's mouth. There was a beauty to humanity, in all its noisiness and inconsistency. The saiyans were a noisy people, to be sure, but more often than not you could guess what was going through a saiyan's mind: fight, eat, breed, repeat. I never really fit in, even back before everything played out, Zucceta mused.
Earthlings were different. They all had different visions, dreams, ideologies. They might have common ground in places, but you'd never find two Earthlings with identical modes of thinking. And that was beautiful.
A static pitch broke through Zucceta's train of thought. She winced, and twisted a small, near-invisible dial at the side of her helmet as a message buzzed to life in her ears:
"ALERT: CAPSULE CORPORATION FACILITY CC16 UNLAWFULLY BREACHED BY UNKNOWN ASSAILANT. Co-ordinates:--" The mechanical voice would list off the specific map co-ordinates to the location. Zucceta's mind whirred--she wasn't so familiar with Earth map systems, but she could translate the number into the tech in her front visor. Only--
She didn't want to leave the city. This was her night shift, and even though she could hop between the two locations in a few minutes, she didn't want to take that chance--crimes and tragedy can happen fast.
She clucks her tongue. Wait, I know.
She tenses her body, and a moment later, in a shimmer of light and mild pop of energy, one became two. Two Saiya-man Neo's face each other, hovering in the night sky. However, only one of them had a helmet--the tech was too advanced for Zucceta to just replicate. That was mildly problematic.
The unmasked Zucceta shrugs. "I'll borrow a scarf and some shades and wrap 'em round my head. It'll be fine."
"Yeah, alright." The two clones give each other the thumbs up, no, an irresistible bro-fist, before the helmeted Zucceta blasts away in a scream of energy, towards the co-ordinates calculating in her helmet visor.
Zucceta's eyebrows arched up behind the tech-glass as she stepped into the forlorn laboratory. Nobody had been here in decades, by the look. It wasn't as old as that Red Ribbon facility where she'd first encountered Vi-Poi and his Bannermen, the tech was newer for sure, but the place had a similar feeling--like, perhaps, it had been abandoned for a reason. Capsule Corp was the leading tech company on the Earth, and a valid rival to even Vi-Poi's Blue Banner tech guys. Why would they just leave a place like this to rot?
She shivers.
"Is anyone here?" The saiyan queen, somewhat naively, calls out, as she hops over the large hole in the floor, scattering some balls of dust to the abyss below.

Breech moves through the facility slowly, investigating each crevice and crack in each dimly lit room of the facility. As he delved deeper and deeper, the facility began to look less like an abandoned laboratory, and more like a destroyed military base. Part of him wondered if the thing that decimated this place was still wandering the halls, but it was unlikely. His logs dated the place as being closed down nearly one hundred years ago. The only thing left was the webs.
The brain container leeching off of Maximillion let out an electronic sigh, the liquid in the jar bubbling in disappointment. Things would be much easier if he'd remade his old body, as it had a plethora of detection devices installed. As it stood now, however, he was left blind. The best he could muster in his current sorry state was the ability to sense the Battle Point of nearby combatants, and seeing as this derelict place was vacant aside from himself and his few bodyguards, that would help no-one.
Or so he thought.
As he knocked a loose wall down, his scanner went wild. A few halls behind him was an incredibly high energy rating; over one-hundred thousand! Normally this amount of power would be mere childs play to deal with, but without his own body, the unknown threat had the advantage.
Breech's mind raced for options. He could just escape before the being could detect him, but that would put the schematics he was searching for at risk. Even worse, if there were actual fibers still remaining inside the facility, this fool might get a hold of them instead! If that occurred, there's no telling how long it would take for him to find another sample-- if one even existed.
His only other viable option was to distract the fighter. Keep them busy until he could find what he needed, then get out. Breech sent a signal to his Cycloids, and they marched off in the direction of the Great Saiyaman's biggest fan. Their massive bodies clanked through the halls, echoing loudly throughout the facility. If Neo had ears, they'd most certainly hear the Cycloids coming.
Within moments, the twin machines would arrive at the opposite end of the hall, staring the disguised hero down. Their singular eye orbs began glowing a menacing crimson, illuminating the dark hall with deadly light. They both raised their right arms, and the claw-like appendages they sported folded inwards. From deep within the arm of the machines, a large barrel would extend, whirring to life as an orb of bright-yellow Ki began to bubble to life. Soon after, they would fire a machine-gun barrage of Ki blasts in Saiyaman's direction, intending on ripping right through the caped crusader.
While the Cycloids kept their foe busy, Breech commanded his thrall to continue moving. Maximillion's body lurched forwards, moving towards the inner sanctum of the facility. It wouldn't be long before he'd find where he needed to be. As long as his machines did their job, he'd be in and out quickly.

Shortly after she called out, the great thudding footfalls began. Dhoom, dhoom, dhoom, dhoom. Zucceta gulped. No worries. I'm strong. Super strong. Yeah.
The two hulking robots appeared at the end of the hallway, their girth entirely blocking the way forward. "Hey, guys. Sorry, didn't mean to disturb--" she cut herself off as the mechanical beings began to transform into a different combat mode. "Oh, great." She eyed the barrels at the end of their arms cautiously as the yellow artificial ki began to surge and bubble within them.
Think fast.
Zucceta thrust her hand forwards, and an invisible telekinetic power rushed forwards. Her goal; redirect the Cycloid's laser barrels. Where? Each other.
Regardless of the outcome of the psychic wave, the caped crusader would dart forwards, spinning and charging through smoke and yellow bursts of energy. She had to find whatever they were defending; her curiosity was peaked.

The mechanical monsters did their best to track Neo's speedy movement, but it was a bit too fast for their processors. In a single swift burst of telekinetic force, the masked fighter had re-directed the incoming blasts, as well as the barrels they came from. It took mere seconds before the two bots ripped through one another's armored bodies, cleaving themselves in twain with raw, artificially produced Ki. The top-half of their massive bodied clanked to the floor, as their sparking legs wobbled about aimlessly in the hall, losing their footing entirely when the disguised Saiyan zipped past. This nameless Saiyan would have an easy time making her way through the rest of the facility... For a little while, anyways. "Damnit! Not this, not now!" Breeches parasite body slammed against a massive metal blast door at the end of a long hall, denting it inward. The door had a very complex locking mechanism, and the only way to open it without blunt force was to input a very long, and very confusing password. On any other day, this would have been a simple password to remember, but when being hounded by a mystery fighter, its a bit harder to remember. The brain jar let out a synthetic groan, allowing his tendril-like appendages to pop out of the innards of Maxmillion's artificial brain. The artificial Konatsian fell to his knees, taking deep, labored breaths that he didn't actually need. He tried to find the words to speak, but he could not process much yet. Being taken over by another being was a new feeling for the android; he still didn't even know he was a machine yet. "Go distract that fool. I'll get to work." Almost immediately, Maximillion's human traits of fatigue and confusion vanished, replaced by a cold, mechanical compliance. He stood up slowly, marching to the opposite end of the dimly lit hallway. He turned a corner, moving out of sight as Breech began climbing the door. His claws scuttled upward, before stopping above the control panel. It had quite a few buttons lining its dusty metal, and the screen that either approved or denied entry was cracked and faded, but it didn't matter much. Breech's claws pierced through the concrete as the jar proper hovered right above the panel. Slowly, a tendril-like set of wires snaked out of his undercarriage, wrapping around the panel and sneaking inside. He worked his technological magic on the inner workings of the door. It'd take a bit longer to unlock it this way, but it was better than guessing the password. Meanwhile, Maximillion began to search the facility for this mystery fighter. They were working their way through the halls quickly, but with luck, Maximillion would be able to cut them off before they figured out where exactly Breech was hiding. His energy sensing told him Saiyaman Neo was currently moving through a nearby room. Rather than try to catch up by moving through the mazelike halls, Max decided to simply burst through the closest wall, landing him right in front of the Super Hero. "You should turn back while you have the chance." Maximillion spoke in a monotone voice, devoid of human emotion. Whatever programming he used to have to make him seem organic was switched off to make room for more fighting power. The Android raised his hands, clenching them into fists as he stared Neo down. He'd give the nameless warrior a chance to back off, but that window would be quite slim. "My creator has no time for the likes of you."If Neo hadn't already turned tail and run, Max would zip across the room, attempting to plant both fists right into the warrior's gut. If it hit, the strike would be followed up by a killer headbutt, intent to send Neo flying through the closest wall.
Two Cycloids have been defeated!... Or have they? Maximillion and Breech have split up.

The costumed hero whirled through a blaze of artificial energy blasts, shimmering waves of power emanating from the two robotic foes, tearing through the metal carapaces like lead shotgun balls puncturing cardboard. She couldn't help but grin as the energy fizzled about her, blasts sliding through her open arms as she pirouetted gracefully through the dark corridor, the flashes of golden-yellow light illuminating the metallic chamber like some interior fireworks display.
Zucceta looked back as the robots smoked and fizzled, slumped down and broken against either side of the corridor. She placed a hand on her chin, stroking an invisible beard. It was good to quip after situations like this, even if no-one was around to hear it. "Mechanical foes are too dumb for justice!"
Thank Kami no-one was around to hear it.
She reached the end of the corridor, and entered a foyer. It was a vast room, all metal until the walls reached the ceiling, which was simply rock face. The facility had been built right into the cave system of the mountain, it seemed. The hero whistled in awe. "Takes a lot of doing, especially for these humans. What could be so important?"
She lowers her eyes and assesses the rest of the room. It looked a bit like a staff room; there were vending machines, coated with a thick layer of dust, and besides those was a kitchen set-up with an ancient fridge-freezer, sink and a counter. Atop the counter was an old pot of coffee, with some brown liquid inside. Unable to retrain her curious impulse, in part due to her love of the caffeinated beverage, the disguised saiyan warrior popped the lid off the coffee strainer and sniff. She cringed at the sickly smell emanating from the ancient brew. "Oh god."
All signs indicated that the people who had once worked here had left the facility in a hurry. Why would it be abandoned?
And that was when the humanoid android burst through the wall, knocking over one of the vending machines. Soda cans scattered across the floor. Zucceta couldn't help but jump, but not out of true fear; more like someone being scared at a haunted house ride than someone facing true peril. "You damn robots; someone should give you guys energy that I can actually sense!.. or like a siren, or something," the hero blurted out, an embarrassed smile visible beneath her helmet.
"Why should I turn back? What is this place?" she asked the android, her voice slightly more level than previously. If a bunch of hostile robots were stalking the place, that might be the reason it was abandoned--but something in her gut made her doubt that. "Your creator? Someone else is here?" She tried to reach out with her senses, but nothing. If anything organic was in this place, it was extremely weak. Robots making robots? Maybe.
The thing about Androids was you couldn't sense when they were about to make a move. Zucceta was taken by surprise when the humanoid robot appeared in front of her and planted his fists in her stomach. The impact only lightly winded her, and she juttered back slightly. "Hey--" she started, but the android was already moving again.
This time she was prepared. She caught the android's head in the palm of her hands, his ears fastened between her fingers. "That's rude, you know?" She grinned, before using her own cranium as a weapon, her forehead smashing down on the android's nose.

"Too many questions. Answers too complicated for an inferior being."
The machine was quite sure of itself, despite it currenlty being locked between the masked hero's hands. Maximillion's body wriggled and writhed, trying to dislodge itself from the superior fighter's grip, but it seemed to be stuck quite thoroughly... Or at least its head was.
Just as Neo began to pull back for her headbutt, the Android made its move. With a quick twist of its body, the faux-Konatsian popped its own head off, revealing loose wires and the metallic endo-skeleton hidden just beneath the artificial skin. It quickly cocked its fist back, before thrusting it forward, blasting a wave of Ki towards Neo, which threatened to demolish its own head if the hero was hit!
"What in the blazes is that fool doing?"
Breech's jar shot a glance down the hall as the derelict facility shook from Maximillion's energy wave. Whatever had occurred with that superhero was a dire situation, it seemed. Hopefully their little bout wouldn't tear this place down before the brilliant doctor achieved his prize.
His wire tendrils continued to slither and dance in the underside of the panel, making slow progress. One of the wires got a bit too close to an alarm system, tripping it, and activating the facilities backup generator. Suddenly, lights all across the lab shot to life, illuminating this blackened building for all of its inhabitants. Alarm sirens began to blare across the cavernous halls, but whatever was intended to guard this place had already become defunct and inoperable.
"This blasted thing... Just a few more moments, and I'll be finished here..."
