Giggling at Kaza’s reaction to her flirtatious words, Meridia didn’t allow the enjoyment found in making the girl uncomfortable slow her offense. Heavy axe let loose across the dojo, the demon licked her lips as she anticipated its connection with her opponent. Rotating faster than her eyes were capable of accurately following, the weapon sped towards the Majin and then it bit right into her neck!
Wait…no…damn it!
Meridia pouted internally as instead of seeing the girl’s wide eyed head tumbling through the air all she got was one of her extra appendages. Attention on it for a moment as it twisted wildly, she couldn’t help, but think about how it reminded her of those strange inflatable objects so many stores on Earth sported when offering various sales. A self-proclaimed expert when it came to deals on fine merchandise, the materialistic female long ago learned to spot the humanoid like balloons. Sadly, Kaza wasn’t selling anything.
Drawn from daydreams of bargains and fancy clothes by the Majin’s shout, Meridia snapped back to the matter at hand. Already Kaza was rushing towards her and an instant later, two of her remaining arms shot forward. More of those stretchy arm attacks, eh? The armored female was perfectly fine with that, especially when her weapon proved so effective against the squishy blue girl.
Normally throwing a weapon was a last ditch effort to try and best a foe who outmatched you in close combat, but considering how durable Kaza likely was and the fact this fight had just begun, it would initially appear if Meridia had thrown her weapon in haste. The truth of it was, her skills with the axe went beyond melee combat or even the ability to throw it with precision. Magic allowed for wonderful things.
”Well if you won’t show me, maybe I just need to hack you and that armor to pieces so I can see!” Meridia shouted, her goal here more to keep distracting conversation going than anything.
Sadly her follow up plan did not possess a direct counter to the two fists that rocketed towards her. Left arm lifted to cross in front of her face, the fist aimed for it slapped against a horizontal bracer instead. Right arm extended towards something in the distance, the second blow thudded hard into the demon’s armor, denting the breastplate inward and forcing a grunt from the female within. Stumbling backwards as a result of the double fisted strike, Meridia had already enacted her own strategy.
Her extended arm called to the weapon she threw moments before, not with longing or misplaced hope, but with the magic that her kind naturally possessed. Short of clattering to the floor, the heavy weapon halted its moment, suspended in the air before it shot back the way it had come. Spinning once more, it rushed at the two combatants with the hopes of catching the Majin’s outstretched arms. One was already severed; Meridia wanted at least two more.
Her heel connectedly solidly with the Saiyan’s chin. Packing enough force to snap the girl’s head back and send her rocketing towards the dojo’s ceiling, Shemha was proud of her creative counter. She would have swollen with more pride had she not felt that tight grip on her wrists and the sudden tug as the momentum of her own kick ripped her off the floor. Aware that the golden warrior looked to take her along for the ride, the Majin began to melt away from her grip.
As quick as the action was, it wasn’t fast enough. Two solid boots planted into Shemha’s abdomen as Vennel’s figure snapped to its full height, the elite’s powerful legs tense as she put her full strength into the double booted kicked. A grunt escaped the Commander as she shot back to the ground below, landing in nearly the same spot she moments ago arched over. The collision was audible as she struck the tile and the web of cracks that spread across the floor showed that not all of the structure was fully reinforced. Thankfully, magic allowed Shemha and Meridia to fix any damage done with ease.
Vennel rocketed back down towards her a moment later, the Majin already in motion as she rolled to get her feet back under her.”Underestimate her?” Shemha asked as she leapt, legs tucked up as the Saiyan’s sweeping leg sliced at air. ”Do you assume that everyone underestimates the two of you?” The Majin followed up as her bare feet slapped back to the floor, body shifting to resemble a purple and red donut, Vennel’s fist punched through the center hole.
The Commander’s body then snapped back to its natural form in an order to catch the female’s fist within her gut. From what she saw thus far, Vennel possessed power in the absence of speed. Perhaps it was a drawback of this enhanced bulking form she was capable of. That was something she looked to take advantage of.
Pending the success of her momentary restraining attempt, Shemha’s right fist would shoot forward towards her foes face. Regardless if that connected or not, another shift in her figure allowed her to twist and throw, hoping to whip Vennel through the air. Should her grapple attempt fail from the start, the Majin was always prepared to play things defensively.
So far her opinion of the returning elite was high. She respected the girl’s fighting ability as well as her commitment to at least Kaza, the comradery showed she was not beyond loyalty. Her judgment was not yet complete though, unsure of the woman’s true dedication to the Empire as a whole. Part of her wanted the two of them to be as loyal as they appeared, both potentially powerful assets for the SSE. Yet, past experience dictated that she remain skeptical, cautious. Hopefully, if she chose to put her trust in them it wouldn’t be wasted as it was with creatures like Walker.

The powerful sound of fist against steel clattered and echoed throughout the Dojo, sending an intense shockwave throughout the empty, dome-shaped building! Kaza's mindless, yet brutal punch seemed to go through quite effectively, and actually did enough to dent Meridia's armor! Realizing she actually did some damage to the brute of a woman, the Majin grinned wildly, really starting to enjoy their battle!
''You think I'll just LET you strip me down!? You'll be needing some SERIOUS medical attention before that happens!'' Kaza shouted back with vigor, pulling back her elastic arms before charging straight at the Demon once more, heavy, powerful footsteps echoing through the chamber like earthquakes! Kaza, however, was not aware of Meridia's strategy, or even the fact that she possessed telekinesis!
While Meridia was probably intending to catch Kaza off guard, and slice away more of her arms, the Majin's reckless run had put her direct body into the destructive path of the twirling axe! She could only see it briefly from the corner of her eye, hearing the wind whoosh past her ears before gasping loudly! ''What the f-uuAAAGH!''
Kaza's attempts to dodge or counter proved futile, as the Majin was much too slow! With a disgusting, slimy, dull 'thunk', Meridia's axe struck right into the Majin's forehead, embedding itself deep into the rubber-like flesh! Kaza tumbled across the Dojo's floor like a ragdoll, the added momentum from her run sending her careening straight into the reinforced wall, which halted her momentum with a crude crash.
Now sprawled out onto the floor with a gigantic, demonic axe stuck in her head, Kaza glared right at the Demon, grumbling and groaning frustratedly. ''Okay- Meridia...First of all...'' Kaza hissed, slowly climbing back on her feet as she gripped the large axe by its handle, starting to pull it out of her skull. ''Why not just use your FISTS like a normal person?!'' She complained loudly, finally pulling the weapon out with an unnerving 'shlorp'.
''And, secondly...''
She panted exhaustedly, heavy breaths mixed with pained grunts as her grip on the axe tightened. Her entire body tensed up, teeth clenching and stance lowering- like a tiger ready to pounce. ''THAT FUCKING HURT!!''
Kaza's loud, high-pitched voice screamed throughout the chamber in a loud tone, actually starting to shake the entire building! The soldier broke out into a fierce run once more, eyes like glareful slits as she stared straight into Meridia's very soul. Letting out a guttural warcry, she gripped the large axe with all three of her remaining arms, before spinning around vigorously!
''I'LL TURN YOU INTO A FUCKING MEAT PIE!''
Kaza only spun around quicker and quicker whilst approaching Meridia, holding out the axe fully outstretched, until a metallic, fiery hiss screeched through the chamber! Her purple aura mixed into the whirling spinning top of death, producing a literal tornado of destructive, purple energy, topped off with the sharp edge of Meridia's axe!
The Majin turned herself into a living blender of destruction, a powerful storm of steel and energy headed straight toward Meridia!
Kaza is using Meridia's axe (with permission), and turned herself into a beyblade!

The feeling of her boots slamming into the red skinned commander sent a shiver of up her spine. It was always such a satisfying feeling, no matter how many times it happened. And the resounding crack she made against the wall, showing that the entire building wasn’t quite so strong as she first let on, or perhaps their powers were exceeding what the structure was built for. And when she sped down towards the majin leader, she saw as just before her strike connected, the majin had pulled her feet up out of the way. Damn elasticity!Shemha’s rebuttal seemed to come so easily to her, as her body just moved in such inorganic ways, it went against everything Vennel was used to when fighting against someone. Even those damn robots functioned off of relatively normal parameters. But Shemha was soething totally different to the former Queen. And when Vennel’s fist went for the woman’s stomache, she arched her whole body until there was a hole right where her fist was intended to go. To add to the bizarre display, her body then formed back around her arm, keeping it snuggly in place. While trying to un-stuck her fist, she got one sent right into her face, her head being knocked back a bit when the fist collided with her nose, the sting sent moisture into her eyes as they welled up, despite her best intentions. And in that moment of bleary eyed confusion, she was hoisted up and whipped about through the air, being sent hurtling away. The proud warrior eventually gained control of herself though, stopping her body in mid air, as she growled back at Shemha- this fight had started to really rile her up, which was good. It wasn’t every day a fight this fun came around, after all. “ Naturally, you expect me to think otherwise? You think your ally can dispose of mine easily, but Kaza is capable of more than you give her credit for! I’ve been underestimated ever since I lost to Zucceta. I’m just the ‘throne warmer,’ as I’ve heard it put. Even people on foreign worlds see me as nothing more than that. So think what you will, I’ll prove you all wrong!” In the air, she thrust her arm forward and launched a blast of ki from her palm, headed for Shemha. Then her other arm was thrust forward. And then her first again. Until finally, she was rapidly firing a salvo of energy down at her enemy. Sure, this was far from an effective means to damage one’s opponent, but it made for a nice distraction. Because as she started doing that, the range of her attacks would widen with each successive wave. Until she was firing at the entire area surrounding Shemha, even the wall behind her wasn’t spared. To the untrained eye, or someone that didn’t expect it, she might appear to have lost focus, or be unable to maintain a sustained barrage on a single target. But her ploy was twofold. On the one hand, in case Shemha moved from her spot or was attempting to be a bit more tricky, she was hedging her bets that a stray pot shot might hit. But ultimately, she was trying to mask her real target- the wall behind Shemha, where she’d cracked it before. It had shown weakness, so she was aiming to damage if not destroy the wall, and use the debris as a weapon to hit, hurt or otherwise distract the Majin. However, her barrage kept her from being able to see just how well her ploy was working, or if the wall was even damaged enough to collapse under her assault. “ I can not STAND being compared to her. Everything she’s done, has always been to serve HER fancies. I took the throne because the ministry were running our people into the ground, and our would-be-queen in exile was content to live on Dirt. Then I take the throne to better our people, and she takes the first ship over in order to oust me for her own ego boost. Then she abandons it as soon as her little war goes south. And yet I am the one looked down on. I am the one mocked. Well, no more!” As she shouted her words down at Shemha, one might be able to feel the palpable vitriol in which she spat her words. Not that it was all intended for the commander, necessarily. It was a cathartic release of pent up anger and frustration over her lot in life as it was now and just how much it sickened her that she was reduced to such a pathetic role in life. But as her words ended, she was no longer hovering where she was before. She’d used the barrage to distract or blind the Majin, as well as expose any weaknesses in the structure beyond the one she had aimed to damage. And with that distraction, she jettisoned straight forward until she were above the commander and plummeted straight down towards her, using the gravity of the chamber as a means to further accelerate her decent and increase the magnitude of her attack’s power.

Behind the front plate of her helmet, Meridia’s playful expression remained. Although she just met this small blue Majin, the demon already enjoyed her company. Energetic and a bit wild, the girl possessed a personality that clashed enjoyably with the mischievous retainer. Determined to remain less than serious, she wondered just how far her words might be capable of pushing Kaza. Clearly she hadn’t taken lightly to the comments about her hidden figure or the removal of her armor, what else might get under her skin?
Meridia’s axe sure could.
The wet thunk created as a result of the weapon finding its mark was gross enough to make even the one that caused it flinch. Safe from the Majin’s intended onslaught, she watched as the soldier tumbled across the floor. Her trip was accentuated with the sounds of gooey flesh slapping the ground and the clang of the metal weapon, both sounds alternating until the girl met the wall with a thud. For a moment she thought perhaps she went too far, but thankfully Kaza began to stagger to her feet.
Based on the venom in her voice and the escalation of volume, Meridia figured the girl just fine. As the she addressed her by name, the demon’s head cocked slightly to the side. Content to listen, she let out a sharp whistle as Kaza screamed at her for the painful head wound. Motion followed the shout and as Kaza rushed forwards, the armored warrior chose to backpedal.
Retreating could only get her so far, but the backwards movement promised to buy her more time. Armor and weapons were not the only items in her arsenal. In fact, with material all around her the demon possessed a near limitless bag of tricks.
”My hands are rather skilled in fact and in regards to the pain, in my defense, that was supposed to behead you!” Meridia giggled as the distance between them steadily shrank. No longer able to follow the arc of her weapon within the black and blue whirlwind that approached her, she planned to deal with the living blender creatively.
Skidding to a halt, she crouched to press both hands to the tiled floor of the dojo. Magic cascaded down her arms and into the floor. Then, with a “pull” of her mind, the flat floor rose upwards. Able to summon objects like her armor, Meridia was also capable of reshaping the world around her. Within reason of course, she could create and destroy material to suit her needs and what she needed right now, was the ten foot wall that rose between them.
A defensive structure by definition, the wall wasn’t meant to protect her. Instead its purpose was to invite Kaza in. With the hopes that the twirling Majin might try and bust right through the free standing chunk of tile, Meridia leapt into the air. Up and over the wall she went, trying to time her jump so that as her opponent obliterated it with her borrowed weapon, her armored figured dropped from above. Arms held high, the demon’s hands clasped together before both gauntlets dropped towards the top of Kaza’s head.
The chip on Vennel’s shoulder was so large the Commander was left to wonder how she still stood under this enhanced gravity. An aggressive nature and the desire to prove oneself was not uniquely Saiyan, yet the people of Vegeta perfected it. Among a civilization of experts, Vennel came off as a master. Likely thanks to her short time on the throne, not even long enough to warm its surface; the warrior’s words held venom for those that doubted her and admittedly, Shemha was one of them.
Regardless of her prowess displayed thus far she didn’t know the woman as much as she knew of her. Who Vennel was varied greatly from what she was and even farther from what she could become. The passion in her voice spoke volumes of what she planned to prove, what she looked to achieve as part of her return. Shemha hoped, as glorious as it might be, that whatever it was the girl accomplished, would be for the Empire’s betterment.
When the first blast was sent in her direction, a powerful swipe of her arm intercepted it. Forearms humming with energy she smacked the orb aside, letting it crash into the floor a short distance away. Eyes on the warrior above her, the Majin’s slender arms began to blur as the barrage increased in intensity, each movement calculated and precise to deflect the shots meant for her figure. Those that went wide of their target were allowed to slam into the floor, cracked tile splintering further under the assault. The dojo was going to need some tender love and care after this one.
In short order the air around the Commander was alight with explosions as energy rained down from above. Over the roar of the assault, she heard the warrior venting more of her frustrations with the previous Queen and what she had done. Not so sure on the details and motives of the beginning of Zucceta’s reign, Shemha was present for the end of it. That she was able to encompass in a single word, disappointing.
Through all that was said, the Majin offered no response beyond her reaction to the near endless string of blasts. Surrounded by dust and the blinding flashes of multiple explosions, she stood unscathed. However, when the last blast detonated in her outstretched hand, crushed into oblivion, she saw the tactic for what it was. Anger pushed the Elite, but it did not control her. In her throes of rage she continued to calculate her approach and in doing so, she caught the Commander off guard.
Gravity enhanced her speed and power so much so that when the Saiyan’s clenched fists crashed into the top of Shemha’s head, the Majin felt her face hit the tile before the pain of the heavy blow even registered. An audible groan lost amongst the cracking of the dojo floor, she hit hard enough to send a ripple effect through her slender figure, legs lifting from the floor as her upper half pressed into it. Unable to deny the strength behind the hit or the numbing sensation in her cheek, the strike was far from enough to drop the Empire’s second strongest warrior.
At the apex of their short trip up from the tile, her feet shot down, and toes pressed to the floor. Unnatural movements a continual aspect of her fighting style, the Majin shot back up to a partial crouch, knees bent as her right hand shot up towards the Elite’s throat. Should it grab hold as she intended, powerful fingers squeezing tight to cut off Vennel’s airways and Shemha’s face came to a stop centimeters from the girl’s own. Dark eyes locked on those bright pools of blue-green, an aggressive glint showed itself, a stark contrast to her otherwise calm demeanor since they began.
To all Vennel said, her multiple claims that she was no longer to be the joke Zucceta made her to be, her choice to prove doubters wrong and her general decision to return to the SSE in full, Shemha responded with one word.
”Good!” She almost hissed in the Super Saiyan’s face.
Regardless of how pleased she was to see passion from the powerful warrior about her return to the Empire, this sparring session was much more than introductory. Like all parts of Saiyan culture, it was a test. Shemha pushed those under her without reserve and if these two were as loyal as they said, then they fell under her command as well.
Grip hopefully still tight on the other female’s throat, the Majin’s left hand spread open. All five fingers, each tipped with a sharp black nail, glowed red and with no hesitation dove for the warrior’s armored stomach. Designed to cut and puncture instead of detonate, she usually used this technique at a longer range, but instead she released it as her finger touched to the girl’s armor. If Vennel was not ready, five fingers were about to find their way through her abdominal wall.

A whirling screech of furious rage is all that could be heard from the other side of the Dojo, the side where Kaza and Meridia were battling. So far it had been quite terribly one-sided in terms of power, Kaza only barely managing to stand up to the much more powerful Demon. And even then, the Majin was certain of the fact that she had been holding back...Simply playing games with Kaza- toying her...
This, she did not like.
Not one bit.
The sentient spinning top let out a mighty roar as she approached the Demoness, wielding her own axe with a bloody vengeance! If Meridia wanted to play rough and use weapons, then so be it, Kaza would just do the exact same! Much to her disadvantage, though, Kaza had next to no experience wielding weapons that weren't her own two fists, and it certainly reflected in how she decided to use the large, heavy weapon. Simply spinning at a ludicrous rate, aiming to overwhelm Meridia with blind fury in its tempest of steel...
Not much strategy was put behind it- Kaza had been blinded by anger.
Quite literally! It was quite hard to see when you were spinning around at mach speeds, after all!
All Kaza could go off of was Meridia's energy signature, which produced a heavy, powerful beat. The strength behind it luckily didn't make it all too hard to follow, and Kaza was quickly closing the distance between them! ''You're about to find out JUST how much this fucking thing hurts!'' Kaza snarled through the screeching metal storm, picking up the pace when she sensed that Meridia was trying to run away!
She sensed that Meridia came to a sudden stop, though, and then went airborne! Kaza immediately tried to re-angle her body in such a way that she could toss the axe into the Demon's direction with all her built-up momentum, yet the Majin was quickly interrupted as she felt the axe crash against solid stone!
A loud crash echoed through the chamber as Kaza slammed right through the re-shaped tile floor, smashing it apart into tiny specks of debris. She let out a confused grunt as she felt herself lose balance, having suddenly lost her rapid momentum. Ontop of that, all that spinning had made her quite dazed!
''Ghh...Nngh-!'' Kaza hopped on one foot in a sickened daze, nearly falling over as she gripped the axe exhaustedly, clutching her own head with the other hand. She remained there for a split second, unaware of Meridia hovering just above her! When Kaza DID sense the Demon's rapid approach, it was already too late...!
BOOOM!!
A wicked loud earthquake echoed throughout the entirety of the Dojo, easily shaking the ground as far away as the Cacumber Capitol! Meridia's powerful blow to Kaza's head had sent the Majin crashing straight into the floor mercilessly, creating a large crater and shockwave upon impact! Cracks spread deeply across the Dojo's floor, most of the tiles that were neatly placed in the interior either blown off or completely destroyed.
Kaza's body was spread out right smack dab in the middle of the large crater, eerily silent and motionless...
''This is...The worst.'' She suddenly muttered through the rock and rubble, her voice muffled by the stone she had her face planted in. A loud, guttural groan of annoyance came from the Majin as she slowly climbed back to her feet, stumbling in pain and exhaustion. Her face was now covered in bruises and scratches, a streak of blood pouring from the corner of her mouth. This, combined with the giant gash the axe had left earlier, didn't make her look all that pretty and cutesy.
Kaza glared tiredly at the Demon, breathing deeply. In, and out...
''Calm down...You can beat this jabroni...Just focus...'' She spoke to herself loudly and clearly, not really caring if Meridia overheard- she was too livid to care. All the Majin wanted to do was defeat the Demon and prove herself a competent fighter...Yet reality was quickly closing in on her.
Kaza threw an elastic arm out to the side, reaching far out to grab hold of Meridia's axe, which had been blown away by the shockwave moments ago. Pulling it back, Kaza caught it with her other arm before cracking her neck loudly, spitting out a glob of blood on the floor. ''Honestly, the only reason you just hit me is because I hate using weapons.'' The Majin shrugged teasingly, cracking a grin of forced arrogance. ''It's only fair to do this the old fasioned way, don't you think?!'' Kaza asked in an agressive tone, yet a playful one. While angry, it was moreso just adrenaline doing its job.
''Fist-fights are WAYYY more fun!''
The Majin quickly looked over to the other two people in the Dojo, Shemha and Vennel. They too were in the heat of battle, and seemed to be getting really into it. Yet Kaza saw Vennel in a tough spot as the Commander grabbed for her throat. The Majin could only smirk. ''Alley-oop!'' Kaza chirped, lining up her aim and chucking Meridia's axe right at the other two fighters, aimed right at one of the Commander's arms! Now, with that pesky axe out of the way, Kaza could focus on the fight at hand. ''Much better.''
Her gaze fixated on Meridia once more, and went from a playful smirk to a serious glare. Kaza clenched her fists and thrusted forward her chest, sending a wave of magic-enhanced Ki surging through her body! In a single, booming 'Boof!', Kaza had enhanced her own strength! Increasing her own mass, Kaza's muscles were a lot more defined and lean-built now, but it did make her movements more sluggish...
Not that it mattered- she needed every bit of power to defeat this sassy Demon!
''Time to end this!'' She roared, bundling up all of her inner energies and magic reserves! Her purple aura flared to life once more, yet was accompanied by a coating of swirling, magical mist! The Majin was pulling out every last bit of her strength against Meridia, determined to win right then and there!
Tossed Meridia's Axe over to Shemha to potentially free Vennel and/or sever Shemha's arm!
