TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Tulip’s thoughts were strong and heavy. She didn’t want spoken to in her mind, but she was clear to be heard. It was almost as if she was reaching out, or at least subliminally. Maybe Durian’s own goddess had helped in fetching these thoughts? Whatever the case, there was a brief flash of something. Something negative and painful, with the body of a male and a fighting stance that her mate had taken. Then the woman. Just Tulip. Thinking and contemplating. This hybrid was falling.
And... crying? It surprised the Kagami. Before she could even make it to Takeshii’s side, she saw the tears. She wasn’t facing off against Levlidian. She was breaking down. Durian expected a break for it. Especially when the apology came. She couldn’t be there, that’s what she had said. And in the next instant, she was gone. Her mate flew after her. And with a smirk upon her lips, Durian would follow after. He was a manchild, but he cared so much. Following after the both of them, she’d not want to leave Tulip rot in the hell that was her own mind.
If Lev so succeeded in stopping Tulip, as she had no doubt of his ability, Durian intended to come up behind her. Not secretly nor silently, but press a hand to the shorter woman’s shoulder and come upon her side. “Where is it good for you to be? If fear and darkness consumes your heart, you’ll forever run and be at a loss. Let us help.” The words followed after Levlidian’s words. Looking to him briefly with a bit of confusion. She never did figure out what the two’s relationship was, but she suspected from Tulip’s thoughts that Levlidian was this friend she was so afraid of now.
Something happened. It’s broken her stability and resolve. She’s afraid.
Words sent to her mate, trying to give him a small bit of insight. But really, Durian didn’t have much. Some visual images and feelings, a few stringed together words by Tulip. But it was hard to place it all together. All she knew was it was tearing the hybrid to pieces. Much like it had her. Like it had Takeshii. As it once had Levlidian.
Takeshii. Durian’s eyes moved to the Saiyaness that had announced her leave. She was heading into the ship. Durian was unsure whether to stop her or not. Even the kagami didn’t know Tuilp well. It was possible she should step out too. But... Tulip said so much more in her mind. Durian’s skill was there where Levlidian’s was not. With a sigh through the nose and a nod, she’d respond to the retreating Takeshii’s mind.
Train smart, not hard.
It was sort of a joke. To train intelligently to make one’s self better over destroying the body. Lev had always been good at that sort of thing.
But the Kagami would bring her attention immediately back to Tulip and Lev. Looking to the female with an uncertain hardness, yet obvious concern.
“You mocked me once for my fear. One that had been ingrained in me through life. It doesn’t have to be crippling. And yours is new. Yours isn’t ingrained. What happened that’s effected you so drastically?”

Tulip halted her flight as Levlidian appeared directly in front of her. Her tears were visible now, making trails down her cheeks. The woman smiled and muttered. “The thing is, I do want to fight. But it won’t be a friendly spar. This would be a fight that would instantly shift to me trying not to lose my composure, which in turn would end horribly.”
Since her entire focus was on Levlidian and struggling to maintain her composure, the hand on her shoulder had the opposite effect it should’ve. Tulip’s heart almost stopped, as something she couldn’t place suddenly appeared behind her. Shock and fear crossed her face, before Durian’s voice made the woman recall where she was. As she heard Durian’s words, Tulip tried not to laugh, ignoring the tears still in her eyes.
If only you knew the end of it, Durian.
There was a pause, as all three hovered in the air. Tulip resisted the urge to throw Durian’s hand off her shoulder, much like the silver-haired woman had done to her. Then Durian spoke again.
“You mocked me once for my fear. One that had been ingrained in me through life. It doesn’t have to be crippling. And yours is new. Your’s isn’t ingrained. What happened that’s affected you so drastically?”
Tulip realized exactly what the woman had spoken of; her resistance to fighting, the reluctance to battle someone she didn’t know. Durian had overcome that fear, somehow, in the time Tulip had been ‘gone’. Well, ‘gone’ wasn’t the word for it.
“...do either of you know what a phantasmagoria is? I’ll explain for you, in case you didn’t. It’s a never-ending sequence of real images, that is just like a dream. Now, imagine a never-ending chain of deaths. Painful, agonizing, unavoidable death, that always comes no matter what you try. It changes you, mentally and physically. It makes you fear anything unknown, anything stronger...anything that could ‘kill’...” Tulip’s gaze fell, before she slid out from Durian’s grasp and covered the distance between herself and Levlidian. Setting a single hand against his chest, the man would be able to feel the trembling in her hand and fingers. The woman took a slow breath and muttered. “You know how I was gone for the past few months? I didn’t take a hermitage or something like that. I died. And while I was dead, I experienced a horrible torture worse than anything I’d ever before in my life. It’s amazing I can even stand here right now, Lev. So...would you please let me leave before I do lose it?”

Stood behind Tulip as she'd round and ask of him something he knew was heart felt, his eyes hardened and the frown he wore deepened whilst a single obsidian orb measured his mate on the opposite side; was she willing to allow her to leave like this? "So it would seem," he uttered towards Durian whom he knew had the sight to read his thoughts. They'd equated to the sharing of information this way for sometime; Levlidian was confident she could hear him. "I can't imagine that, Tulip, I only know what I know from this world- if you died-," he paused and shifted his boot swaying his lean frame aside giving the Hybrid her escape and showed no moral towards holding her any longer. "-It's your choice, fear or not it has you by the scruff," he' rotate and wander to Durian's side with a steady gate whilst a shade swept across his visage. "If you won't fight through it there's no helping you," the pause beside Durian was brief.
Advancing further away it would seem the young Saiyan had lost interest, he had not, however there was nothing to gain from forcing Tulip to the point of shattering; no fight was worth losing your mind over. A funny thought, in a way as hypocritical as his eternal pledge to free the Saiyan's and Kagami from single minded Warmongers. When a good distance away he'd turn and coil his arms about his broad frame, the grass beneath his feet perked up to the sway of the breeze, reflection wasn't something he took to so very well. Even now he watched the Hybrid quiver and fight to run- a vast change from the woman he'd met in the bamboo forest and it pained him. "Lose it?" he blew a 'ch' to the wind, "By sounds of it you've already lost. I don't judge you for it, never will, do what you've got to do; if you ever want our help you know where to find us,". Without calling for Durian nor noting she should follow, Levlidian left the women to speak and wandered to the front of his ship, perching on the ground in front of it and merely observing; this wasn't his place to convince her he had no leverage nor did he quite understand the depths she had sunk; or did he?
Still, Durian had a better measure of what had happened, she'd clearly seen into her mind and Levlidian's presence seemed to summon the worst of it, perhaps some distance would help the Hybrid open up to his Kagami. Maybe.

Takeshii had moved over towards the ship, stopping a moment to turn around and look at what was going on. She had not been here for whatever had happened before, and she felt a tad out of place. Her eyes narrowed upon Tulip, and she saw the stress and sadness there. It bothered her, more than she really wanted to admit because she had been in that position a lot lately. A sigh would slip from her lips, and she would set a look of steel upon her features. She was not going to let another emotional situation get to her. She had dealt with enough of them lately, especially involving Levlidian. Her chocolate gaze would shift over to him, watching him as he turned to walk away and make his way over to the ship, dropping down outside of it. From her position in the doorway, she narrowed her eyes, and she would make her way over to him, stopping at his side. Arms coming to cross across her chest as she gazed down at him for several moments before speaking.
"So....walking away from another friend Levlidian? I don't know the situation...but...she needs you."
It was all she would say, her gaze rising to look over to Durian and Tulip a moment. So much tension and emotion there that it was palpable. She gave a bit of a shrug then before her booted feet would move to carry her into that ship. She snapped the towel she had had with her, tossing it over her shoulder once again, before the darkness of the inside of the ship would swallow her form, the door making a hissing sound as it opened, then another hissing sound and a KATHUNK as it closed. Her steps carried her towards her room, and the bath that was attached. She desperately needed one, and perhaps it would allow her to relax enough to get her mind off of everything. She was going to be glad when she finally did get to move. Privacy was something she desperately needed right now. Privacy, and a bit of distance and time...time to think about what she was going to do now.
OOC NOTE: Feel free to respond, Kesh is stepping out and leaving this for you three. Will take PL when turned in.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
The Kagami was attempting to offer help to the hybrid. To tell Tulip to stay. If she ran from them, if she left, then she would just find more to run from. If Levlidian meant something to her, then Durian more than trusted the Saiyan to help. Tulip sought him out, shouldn’t she stay to seek further? The thoughts of the hybrid would come to the Kagami’s senses. If she knew the end of what? Red gaze trying to figure out the woman, yet not wanting to speak into her mind and throw her farther off.
“I’m telling you to stay, and tell us the end of it.”
She added more firmly. This woman was bullheaded. Even back then she had reminded Durian of a Saiyan, but still she had no real confirmation of that. Hybrid could mean many things. What Tulip didn’t fully realize is that Durian hadn’t overcome her fears. They were still there. Very obviously present. She just... allowed them to cripple her less and less. From the moment she broke away from her masters and Vegeta, she had grown more to be able to rely on herself. Lev only helped with that. But strength could not evaporate fear. No matter how strong one was.
And explanation did come. One that explained Tulip’s unstable mind. A repetition of horrible events. When Tulip’s head would fall, she’d leave Durian’s hand. The Kagami let her go physically, but she wasn’t ready to give up all around yet. Durian had somewhat of an idea of what the hybrid went through. It wasn’t her own death. It wasn’t her own pain. But Durian had watched those she knew, people of her kind, fall for no reason. Struck down for existing. Taken advantage of. Beaten. Used. Tortured. All for whatever came to their owner’s mind. That never ended. Not until she left Vegeta. That was a very real fear. It did change people. But it wasn’t unable to be overcome.
Tulip reached out to Levlidian. Tried to connect with him. The Kagami had it cross her mind to leave the two be. Levlidian had been known to be the one to help people. He wouldn’t let her go, even if she asked to leave. But... wait what? The Saiyan had moved to Durian’s side. He was telling Tulip to leave if she wouldn’t fight. The surprise would be obvious to the Kagami. He’d begin to stride away and even make a sound of disapproval at Tulip. This was... strange. Maybe she misunderstood the relationship the two had. Maybe this was a bluff. Durian couldn’t tell, but she’d snap her eyes back to Tulip.
Stay. Lose it here. Or overcome it here. But if you run, there’s only a greater chance you’ll lose it among those that will take advantage. You may very well die again.
It seemed the Kagami had resorted to pecking at the Hybrid’s mind. Taunting that darkness that Tulip held and tried to bring it to the surface. More or less, that’s how Lev had helped her heal. Somewhat... But facing her fears and doing something about them, is how she left Vegeta. Forgetting the small tidbit where she had killed her master to achieve that. Staying near to Tulip, not taking her eyes from her, flames would come to the Kagami’s right arm. Swirling angrily about the appendage, she’d await the Hybrid’s response.
--------------------------------------------- I didn't not before because I didn't think it would come up again and wasn't a big deal. >< But Durian actually didn't shove Tulip's hand away originally, she held her there. Like, assuming she might try to pull away or escape when Durian had stared her straight on.

Tulip’s gaze remained down, as Levlidian spoke to her. His words echoed in her mind and heart, bringing to surface all the regret and fears she’d amassed. The woman swallowed firmly, trying to convince herself within that her decision to run was right. He turned away from her touch, walking away. Her hand fell to her side, as the sorrow began eating away at her inside. His words opened a new hole within, one that devastated the woman. Her fear was destroying her ability to maintain the friendship she’d held so dearly. The other Saiyan left after shooting a comment to the male warrior. Tulip’s gaze widened before traveling slowly up. Durian was still standing there, staring at the woman. The Kagami spoke, issuing an ultimatum that reverberated deep within Tulip’s troubled heart...and woke something slumbering deep within. Stay. Lost it here. Or overcome it here. But, if you run, there’s only a greater chance you’ll lose it among those that will take advantage. You may very well die again. Die...That word echoed within the woman’s soul, reopening doors she’d prayed would remain shut for the rest of time. Her lips trembled, as she struggled to speak, to utter something. Stepping backwards, the woman tried to cover her mouth, to hold back the sobs. The hybrid desperately tried to form a rebuttal, something to detach herself from the rapidly dissolving situation. As her mind began crumbling into itself, leaving only a jumbled mess of fear and desperation, something happened. The Kagami’s energy spiked, flames running down her arm. This, coupled with the words echoing within Tulip’s mind, activated something even further within than her words. Fight to survive; fight...kill anything that stands against you. Her tears finally stopped, as the woman’s hands fell to her sides. Her gaze fell on the Kagami’s, but the spark of fear and sorrow that had been there was gone. A single spark of silver lightning danced down the woman’s body, before the dust around shifted. The ground audibly cracked and split, as the woman shot forward, bringing both of her hands up. Silver energy crackled around her fist, as she stopped directly in front of Durian, fist poised to slam into her face. There was nothing held back in this punch, intended to destroy the target her mind designated as an enemy. All of her former reluctance to battle was gone, but her consciousness was faint; this was no longer a matter of strength, skills, or emotions. This was all raw instinct, driven by an overwhelming urge to survive created from the hybrid’s experiences in Hell.

Levlidian fired TAkeshii a filthy glare at her pointed accusation, no he was not walking away but Tulip had responded badly when he'd offered help before; she also responded badly to fighting him so the deduction was ripe that he- was a root cause. Rolling his eye, averting to look away and allow the female Saiyan to venture where she would, he'd look back upon Durian and observed from afar. True enough he hadn't seen Durian's shock as he'd walked away, the way he'd discarded his responsibility, honestly he wasn't even sure why he'd done it- too often he'd had to solve emotional issues of others and never broaching his own. recently the hunger for a fight had become deafening to him and with Tulip's arrival- he'd hoped she'd break the dry spell for him; yet not she'd freaked out and for some reason he held her accountable for that. A growl rolled from between his lips, when had he become so god damn selfish and self involved in things; had the Earth's so called mystical presence worn off? Was he turning back into the man he'd arrived as now that he needn't be humbled by his lack of power anymore?
Tulip on the other hand, the way she held herself as Durian spoke in stark contrast to the calm Kagami, there was defined change in everything about her. Back in the Bamboo forest she'd been so typically Saiyan it was comical. Here, now, even compared to hwo she'd freaked out as she faced his False Super Saiyan state, there was something very, very off and from a distance it was easier to spot. It looked like Durian had this well in hand, the Hybrid hadn't opted to flee the moment he'd left and seemed to be listening, all was well then. A brief smile glimmered about his scarred complexion but it would taint relatively quickly as Tulip's own demeanour shifted. Aggression bled out of her energy and it spiked, the ever blind eye saw more than it betrayed and Lev' was upon his heels faster as her energy signature spiked greatly. There was no way he'd catch that fist- or could he? Determination filled his singular eye and the young Saiyan gritted his teeth to the notion within his mind.
"Damnit," he cursed and with a single breath his energy itself leaped from subtle to one hundred, red flames coarse through him and around him like an inferno at a single thought. Throwing a hand out as the molecules about him danced and writhed the their manipulation; a deep thrum sounded as he'd lean into that heel and drive himself forwards. The dirt and earth beneath his heel scattered in a plume of debris and within moments of the attack either being blocked, evaded or striking he'd appear and fold his arms about his chest- a deep hue of red funnelling about his very flesh. Dancing flames fluctuated and coated him in the very Ki that had once woven around him like an inferno thus the Saiyan sought to take the strike and reels from the tenacity of it causing his frame to slide backwards, digging those heels into the dirt, the ki itself dispersed within moments of the attack striking- shattered by the shear force of it. His bones creaked, his muscles bulged and from his lips courted a stalwart grunt causing him to stagger as the Saiyan would seek lower his arms- "Blind sighting your opponent- real dick move" he mocked. Breathing heavily, obviously reeling from the blow, Levlidian drew a boot back to allow Durian- her response.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Durian fully knew that she could strike something in the hybrid. What that something was would remain unknown until it happened. Tulip could just take off. She could break down. She could lash out. But the Kagami was specifically trying to push buttons to get things to squeeze out. So far, reaching to Tulip mentally had made small cracks. But if she had come to meet with Lev, be with a friend, even after just coming back to life, it meant she trusted him. That she at least somewhat needed him. The woman desired protection or companionship. Something. And Durian would attempt to get her to stay. Get her to crack and hopefully start to heal. Hopefully...
So she watched and waited. Stepping back, raising her hand to her face. The Kagami would wait. Tulip would say something or act. If not, Durian could always say more. But at the fire being brought to her arm, Durian would feel a slight change in the hybrid. Words would come to Durian’s mind. Tulip’s thoughts ringing loud and clear to the observing Kagami. A total change in attitude made the Kagami tense. This is what she intended. To drive the Hybrid into something she was fighting. But it didn’t make it any less nerve-wracking.
Durian would not miss the power spike. That was too obvious. Reacting to it instantly, the red-eyes female would release her own restraints. Ki flaring upwards again but not yet reaching Tulip’s huge boost, the Kagami’s heart would tighten and she’d begin a small cantation in a whisper. Until her senses picked up something else. An energy she knew well. Levlidian. Her eyes hadn’t caught him, but her ki senses would. He was coming. So with a step back, Durian wouldn’t have fully dodged the punch of her own accord, but the male Saiyan had stepped in. The fire from her arm had died down when her thoughts had moved to dodging Tulip. Even though Lev had stepped in, it was too late to stop the end of her fire.
With the punch. With Lev near appearing from nowhere, Durian would take the initiate to move forward again. Dancing around her companion and letting his shield take the downfall and him the damage. Biting hard into her own lip, the Kagami’s long arm would reach out for the chin of the Hybrid. Tulip was stronger. Durian questions her own movements. Levlidian was there, but if Durian put herself in harm’s way what could he continually do? Yet she moved on, Tulip’s attack meeting with Lev’s shield as Durian ripped the woman’s attention from forward to the side were Durian now stood. Rough placement of mouth to mouth, she wanted to catch the hybrid by surprise. Hopefully not sustain injury. And maybe rock the boat a little more.
Between Durian’s telepathy and hopefully the blood that was drawn from her own flesh, the Hybrid would get a glimpse of the Kagami’s past. One specific memory she called upon, the one before her escape. Dying. Bleeding. In pain. A Saiyan male atop her with hand around her neck at some points, inflicting various wounds at others. Choking out her life, but the pain of body, soul, and heart were most evident. Unable to save her unborn. Death would seem all too quick, blackness taking the vision. What she had hoped was death at that point, but never came to pass.
Show me yours
The words from the Kagami’s mind commanded should all go as she attempted.
---------------------------------------------
Hoping to take her off guard as Lev distracts her. Kagami possess the ability to fully share memories if another being ingests their blood, which should help Tulip get a good insider view if all things go as planned.

The hybrid’s fist slammed into flesh, sending her ki flowing into the sudden change of target. Levlidian managed to shift the course of her attack, diverting all of the energy into his aura and dispersing most of the power behind the punch. Her gaze traveled his stance and body, as he slid back from the impact of her ki-infused technique. There was a quip that was lost on the woman, as she tried to decipher a way to defeat this sudden danger that had just appeared. Her focus changed, the hybrid wouldn’t noticed Durian’s approach. Her empty emerald eyes remained on Levlidian, as the hybrid prepared to attack again. Her ki was building in her free hand, as the woman yanked her other fist back. Already preparing the next step in her assault, the hybrid’s attention was violently stolen, as hands grabbed her chin and cheek. Her head was turned to one side, and before the woman could strike out the Kagami began kissing her. The hybrid’s eyes widened in shock, as the urge to retaliate surged up...then vanished, as her hands dropped to her sides. Her ki began dropping in intensity, as Durian’s attempt to reach out to Tulip worked. In the darkness, Tulip sat. She had warned Durian; spoken of the pain and agony that her fear was capable of creating. Her memories were a vicious, brutal lock that chained her sanity together and threatened to crush it. Her gaze traveled upwards, as a spark of emotion entered the darkness. It was a terrible recollection, one full of agony and sorrow. But it wasn’t hers; it was Durian’s. Tulip could see and feel the events that transpired, as Durian was assaulted brutally. But the worst part wasn’t the injuries the woman sustained; it was the tiny life nestled within that was the breaking point. As the memory ended with a simple thought that shattered Tulip’s heart. ’Death...is my only solace’ Show me yours. Tulip’s eyes widened as she heard the words in her head. After such a show of trust and raw emotions, the young woman couldn’t say no to the Kagami. Her deaths had only been an illusion, a simple agony she had experienced in her head and nothing else. Durian had been through so much worse. Even in this place, her deepest solace within her heart, Tulip couldn’t stem the tears that began flowing. She had been such a hypocrite when she accused Durian of looking down on her. Her pain was nothing compared to the other woman’s. Slowly rising to her feet, the woman stepped forward and touched the glowing orb, ensuring her memory would be vividly shown for the Kagami to see. It wasn’t the first death, nor the last. But it had been the worst, the one that had all but broken the hybrid. Stumbling through the huge house, the woman locked the door of a bedroom she entered, before frantically searching for a place to hide. She could hear the footsteps outside the door, as her pursuer methodically made his way ever closer. “What is this? You’re still running from the inevitable after so long? I thought it was cute you tried to fight back the first couple of times.” The voice suddenly shifted, as the woman slammed back-first onto a white floor. The man with nondescript features walked across from her, hands out as he continued speaking. “This world isn’t yours; it will never be. This is your prison, your own personal hell. There’s no way to escape, no way to run. Anything you fear, anything you can experience in pain, all of it will be done in this place by me to you.” The woman tried to push herself up, but her hands sank into the floor along with her legs. Before she could activate her ki to break free, the ground hardened and crushed all four of her limbs. A pained scream almost slipped through her lips, but an invisible force crushed around her throat. She couldn’t breath out, which hurt more than the inability to breathe in. As she struggled in her cage, the man slowly walked forward and knelt next to the woman. “This is my world. I’m your keeper, your worst nightmare…” He slowly grew in size, as darkness began building over the woman. Every monster she had ever witnessed, every demon, every killer...anything evil she had faced was reflected in that darkness, causing her heart to nearly stop. As suddenly as the man grew, he was back to normal, the ordinary man with nondescript features. His smile slowly shifted into a menacing grin as he saw the despair on Tulip’s face. “It seems you’ve finally realized what your lot here truly is. The best part? Your memories stay with you, even if the injuries don’t.” Before the woman could react, three spears of white shot out of the floor, piercing her body. As her vision began fading, she saw the man laughing, covered in her blood. It was then, and only then, that despair truly engulfed the slowly-dying woman. Please...let me die already.
Tulip slowly stepped forward, breaking away from the kiss. Wrapping her arms around Durian, she would bite her own lip in frustration. Tears would start forming in her eyes again, as the woman whispered softly to the Kagami. “I’m sorry, Durian. I...didn’t realize...I’m sorry.” She couldn’t put her current emotions into words, so she stopped talking, only holding the embrace as long as Durian would permit.

Breathed heavily, his limbs lowering and scarred with the smouldering essence of her fist, she'd become strong and again he felt that inner animal flare up in him; he wanted to fight her and yet it was bitten back by his empathy. Tulip was by no means in her right mind, even as she drew back for another, the Saiyan male had begun to dig in to take up his Super Saiyan status- when Durian swept past him. Together they could take her on without Levlidian's Super Saiyan but things were not as they would seem. Past him, his mate's dark figure adversed and travelled at blinding speed towards Tulip- Levlidian drew himself into a part of his stance only to cease as Durian effectively kissed Tulip. A tension entered Levlidian's jaw but he hadn't deducted as to what she was actually doing, not yet thus no matter how much he wanted to use it as an excuse to slot Tulip, he did not. Standing straight and lowering his arms to their sides, he watche don further as Tulip drew back and then embraced the Kagami.
This was odd as odd could be, tilting his head Levlidian soon advance don the pair but stopped- he'd stepped out of this and glancing between those present he could tell neither were actually needing his involvement. Flexing his forearms and raising one to gaze at the deep graze about him- the beast scowled <So close> he thought and closed his singular eye to them before turning to return to his spot a few feet away; planting his arse to watch on from a seated position. Every muscle ached, another's Ki piercing him- it hadn't been much, barely a quarter of what he could sustain but still it was enough to make him hungry for more. What had Durian seen? he wondered inwardly and leant back about his palms with his long legs folded before him, the Warrior merely watched on with an indifferent expression.
This lack of control, this lack of confidence, he should have been able to relate but he couldn't, he couldn't understand the Hybrid at all and this concerned him. Was Death honestly just THAT bad? Levlidian hadn't been quite the believer in anything religious let alone anything after death. Honestly, he figured it just ended until Kazar had elaborated that it in fact- did not. Tulip and Durian exchanging in their oddly developing friendship were further confirmation and a cruel grin bled over his lips- maybe he could fight someone truly powerful when he eventually kicked the bucket. Shaking his head, placing a hand to his head and growling, the young Saiyan gazed to the Grass and observed the green blades with irritation in his eye; what was he saying? Again, for the third time he observed them, nothing more to think of the situation but he'd stay, he'd stay just in case Tulip's oddly malicious side showed it's ugly head again and this time- he'd reintroduce her to the dirt.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART A risky move, Durian knew that much. Tulip was prepared for a strike, angry, and likely confused. Durian was not known as a friend. And Lev had just taken a hit. Yet, the Kagami moved forward anyway. Lev had helped her, herself. Durian hoped to be a better being for it. She could try here.
Contact was made and the two delved into the consciousness of the other. Durian forcing her blood and memories into the mind of the hybrid. Just as her and Levlidian had shared their souls and pasts, Durian was attempting so with Tulip. But this time, Durian had more control. Mitra at her side, holding her together as she attempted to break into Tulip’s defenses, she’d let part of herself be known. Her past. Just little bits, with one event that particularly marred her character. The most painful day in her life.
And now it was Tulip’s turn. She could say no, Durian even thought she might, but she prodded anyway. Fear. Pain. Sorrow. Anger. These were all things they would have in common. Things any living being would have in common. And no one wished to suffer alone. That’s what Durian assumed anyway, share sorrow to have it be shared back. And Tulip would give Durian that honor. Stepping forward and opening her mind to the telepathic alien. One of death and fear.
Duriain looked on with her goddess. Experiencing a portion of what Tulip had endured. Fear and impending doom, oh how the Kagami could relate. Weakness that took over body and mind. Torture. Pain. Agony. It built upon moment by moment. Durian’s heart weakened a bit as she shared Tulip’s mind. Everyone really did have their demons. Their memories shared in but a brief moment, yet conveying much information to one another, the world around them would become reality once again. The kiss ended as it began, quickly and efficiently. The Kagami embraced the shorter hybrid and held her close. A small sense of mothering entering the woman’s mind for a brief instant before vanishing once again. Rubbing the back of the hybrid gently yet firmly.
“We’ve all endured things we’d rather not have to. But we’re still who we choose to be.”
A light smile coming to her lips, she’d glance to where Levlidian was. He had chosen. She had too. Tulip could as well.
“Life is hard. I can only assume death is as well. But you’re alive. You’re here. And you’re Tulip.”
Giving the shorter woman a gentle squeeze in the hug, Durian wasn’t quite sure what to say. There was no reason to apologize. There was sorrow in both of their lives. Real or not, the torment was there.
“I’m sorry as well. I don’t wish such torment on you.”
The woman’s words came softly, something she had found herself doing a little more often now. A contrast to her more... anger filled months upon this planet.

Tulip maintained her embrace with Durian, as the taller woman rubbed her back. The words Durian spoke resonated with the hybrid, answering the fears deep within. Her fears hadn’t been unfounded; but the hybrid shouldn’t let those prevent her from being who she wanted to be. Nodding towards Durian as the woman finished speaking, the young hybrid wiped tears from her eyes. The short hybrid stepped out of the embrace, before speaking softly but firmly. “Thanks so much for helping me close the chapter to this problem. It’ll still require more working on my part, but your help means so much to me. I’m sorry for my words from before.. Levlidian...we’ll have our rematch someday, friend!” Forcing a grin for the two, the young woman turned away and flew into the sky, slowly savoring the release from her shackles of fear she’d just been given.

Their exchange wa son going, even from where he resided, the young Saiyan could identify the ease that ebbed into the once tense situation, seemingly his intermission had spared the three of a far worse outcome. Shaking his head and flexing his arms, he'd seek the direction of rising clear in a moment. Durian herself offered kind words, slenderly formed syllbals and sentence meant to ease Tulip, prepare her to contend with the Demons that wrought their means to the realms in which they resided. In a way, he was proud of the pair- irritated equally so but a suspicion rose to the fact it was merely his selfish ambitions that conjured such things. In the mean time his Wife seemed to have it all under control, kudos.
Levlidian rose and strode beside Durian, his arms folding as Tulip bid unto them her farewells whilst a short grin erupted about his lips; seemingly the endeavour of what had gone on had ended and thus he'd wave off the Hybrid. "I'll hold you to that rain check," he'd chuckle. A single, obsidian orb drifted for the Kagami and his arms would draw about her slim shoulders, tugging her close; "You did good," he'd muse and reflect uneasily about what he'd viewed. Was death honestly so very crippling for some? What had that woman seen in the time she'd spent several feet beneath the dirt. Shaking his head and tilting his head to rest playfully about Durian's to which would see his eye drift closed. The placement of his frame soon changed and the limb about her shoulder fell to slight his waist thus the beast would kiss her cheek before making way back for their home.
"When we finally conclude all of this my dear, we need to have a conversation," he'd add with a toothy grin, "Nothing horrid," he'd add to clear any worry. "We agreed to always be honest-and with that show from Tulip, perhaps you ought to be let in on my own Demons<" a shake of his head followed. "Not now- I promise though, soon,"

The embrace was broken. Not forcefully in any way, but ended regardless. The Hybrid then spoke, faint lines of tears barely left upon the skin of the other woman from when she had wiped them away. Durian felt for Tulip, at least a bit. It was difficult to go through fear and torment. Anyone should know that.
Giving a faint smile as Tulip grinned, Durian had her doubts on how closed the chapter actually was for Tulip. It had effected the young woman greatly, that had been obvious by her lashing out and running away. Small breaks here and there. But as long as Tulip realized she had people to lean on... it could be easier. If she knew she wasn’t alone, then the darkness might not consume her at every turn.
“Good luck to you. We’ll see you again.”
And then the Hybrid departed. Flying into the air and Durian watching from the ground. She did seem more stable, Tulip, like she had overcome something. Hopefully it wasn’t all a mask or a sham. Taking a deep breath, she’d exhale slowly in a type of sigh. She hadn’t expected the morning to be like this. Turning, her focus would return to her mate. He stood beside her and bit Tulip farewell along side her. He was upbeat and grinning like an idiot. It brought a bit of joy to her soul after the trying ordeal. He was still here. Just as she hoped Tulip knew she could lean on someone, Durian was glad to have found that bit of peace with the man next to her.
He circled an arm around her shoulder, pulling her in. Letting her posture drop, almost as if deflating, she’d relax into him and try to melt into that hold. “People are terrifying...” The woman would mutter. Not defeated, but tired. Those uncertain moments where she struck forward to try and capture Tulip’s attention... Risking trying to help her or get socked in the face by whatever Levlidian had endured for her. At that remembrance, she’d plan to inspect him to see if he was wounded. He leaned his head unto hers, arm falling to her waist and a kiss to her cheek. She’d raise a hand and gently press to where Tulip had struck him.
“Gonna pull through, or do I need to nurse your wounds?”
The Kagami would reply with a small bit of taunting. He was strong and barely looked as if he had taken a hit. But he could also be bluffing to be a big bad Saiyan. Regardless, he’d lead her back towards their home, to which she’d gladly abide. The Saiyaness was there, one she was more familiar with than Tulip. Though... she likely housed just as many problems and uncertainties.
What she didn’t expect was Lev’s admittance to his problems. His ‘demons’ as he put it. Gaze shifting to his face, she’d look at him with a hint of questioning. He didn’t hold much sign of worry or stress. He was grinning at her. He seemed happy. There might be issues, but he didn’t seem concerned. He wanted to share with her. Offering a smile in return, she’d nod.
“Then have a conversation we shall.”
Apologies for the lateness. PL for me as well~
