[PL: 231,000 - Enabled Ki Setting: 10,000] [10% House bonus]
It had been a long while since Levlidian had brought anyone home with him, scratch that, he'd -never- brought anyone home with him; even as they cleared the treeline, Takeshii in tow a sinking feeling clambered over his abdomen. Still he knew this was by far the right thing for him to do, her life was a mess thanks to his selfish involvement and thus the beast intended to rectify it. The mountains soon parted, before them lay a beautiful forest laden with the sing song of birds, in the distance lay a run down cottage, as they'd draw closer Levlidian pulled out of his trajectory and landed at a run before ceasing before the rotting wood that would have been a gate. Just for a moment, he eyed the grave at it's side and adjusted his jaw; "Hey Lily," he muttered and soon turned his eyes to the incoming female Saiyan. Moving away from the building and back towards several bushes, the young Saiyan eagerly lead her int the foliage and upon the other side- sat a small wooden cottage and aside it a large, spherical space ship both of which seemed n relatively good condition.
Levlidian strode through to the first, hitting the button on the outside of his ship he'd point inside and note; "Throw your gear in there, if you head in-" he'd do so and clear the stairs quickly before averting on his heel and pointing off to the right. "-Bedroom in there and it's equipped for a fighter, there's a Gravity chamber at the far end- however," he'd leap from the ship seemingly relatively joyous and excitable. "-food, cooking, relaxing happens in the house. regardless you're staying over night, if anything it's to give you some where to rest and train before you and I start training,". Again he rounded on his heel and stormed to the house, fumbling about in his pants, the beast soon found his key and unlocked it; this was a formality because he had a feeling from her energy signature than Durian was home. "Honey I'm home!" he called, "Brought a friend," he'd look to Takeshii should she have followed and granted her a grin.
Within the lay out, to the right sat a pair of well crafted but non expensive sofa's before a roaring fire complete with coffee table. A recently installed Tv lay on at the news channel above the fore place. To their left upon entry lay an open plan Kitchen bleeding into the Living room before opening up to the lengthy hallway with two doors on either side of it. The entire structure was well crafted, not finely but it was obvious it was hand made and the lightning hummed as Lev' threw the switch. "I built it, installed electricity, plumbing- the works. All myself whilst i was alone- Durian came to live with me not too long ago now. few months maybe? Well, soon as she shows her face I intend to have a conversation with her about you staying- it should be fine. If anything it gives you another powerful opponent to train against," he flared her a grin, "You two may have more in common than you think," and off to the center of the room he strode.

Takeshii PL: 3830
Takeshii had been with him the entire time, chatting from time to time about this or that, and just taking in the scenery as he took her to his home. In some ways, she felt incredibly awkward, moving in to a place where he had obviously settled down and was making himself a home and a family. As they neared, and she saw the house and the ship, she would smile a bit, her gaze shifting over both with a subtle look on her features. Gaze shifting to look to Levlidian then she would laugh a bot, "Got yourself a quaint little home here Lev. Glad to see you doing so well for yourself. I would never think to see you settling down anywhere, let alone in a place like this."She would follow him to the ship, looking at the interior of where she would be making her home for the time being. She glanced around at everything and would move to toss her belongings into the bedroom onto the bed. Would be a halfway decent place for her to rest, and at least she would have some time alone. She was half hoping to have that alone time now, but he was insistent that she would be staying in the house that night. A grumble given and she would cross her arms beneath her breasts before moving to follow him towards the cabin. As they entered, she would settle back a bit, just glancing over everything. It seemed to be well lived in, and comfortable and it made her tense. She could not understand why it made her tense, but it did. Maybe it was because of the fact that this was HIS home, and she was about to meet HIS woman. Oh gods she suddenly wanted to turn tail and run, but it was a little too late for that now, wasn't it. "Lev, do you really think this is a good idea. I mean I feel like I am invading your territory...her territory just by being here. Maybe I should just stay in the ship. Would be better that way, right?"
She was turning then, moving back towards that door with her tail flickering behind her in rapid curls. It was one of the obvious signs that she was nervous. There was another reason she was though...memories of how she had felt in the past washed through her all at once. Memories of following him around, climbing that tree, helping each other, learning together...just being...together. She would reach up to rub at the back of her neck then and would sigh, yes she did not belong here...she needed to go...WAYYYYYYY over there somewhere.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Levlidian and Durian had been taking sort of ‘turns’ in leaving the home and ship to go after their own goals. Sometimes training. Sometimes visiting others. Sometimes just to revisit old lands. They were preparing for Namek and to travel the planets. Or so she still assumed. Sometimes Durian wondered if that was an adventure they were going to wait on. Either way, she’d be pleased. Levlidian was there if she needed him. A rock she could lean on. Yet free spirited enough that they weren’t totally dependent. They each lived and thrived, but still had the other. It would be one of the turns in which Durian remained home. Upkeeping the ship and the house, she found herself reminiscing at the task she was doing now. It was partially training and partially keeping reptilian vermin out of her area. Territorial? Maybe. When a slave gains something, they’ll be hard pressed to let someone or something else take it.
Upon the mountains she met the Saiyan. Doing what she had been when he crossed her path. Battling smaller dinosaur like creatures. She kept her energy setting low, focusing upon as much base strength as she could instead of resorting to more ki based. She had felt her power rise quickly ever since meeting her mate, and Mitra had even convinced her that she had the ability to step into strengths she didn’t even realize. Kagami were strong, just like their owners. But Durian didn’t truly know how strong. Time may tell and reveal such hidden energies. But for now, the Kagami did her best to control her ki. Remain hidden. Fight reptiles with her fists and natural endurance.
It would be after said fight that she would end up back home. She had felt the approach of the one she was so familiar with. Levlidian. The curious part was that another was with him. He brought company? She hadn’t prepared anything to give people coming, since she was never sure when he might return. But she was sure she could get something fixed up for whoever came. Making her way back to the home on the mountains, she could feel the comforting energy of her other get nearer and nearer.
That’s where she would meet the two. At the door of the home she shared with the Saiyan. One he built with his own hands among those that shared the burden. He had built friendships while she had torn apart anyone near her. Not until recently did she realize that it could make a difference or she might care. The door was open. Her vision met the new form and the one she knew. There were similarities which Durian would notice, not to mention the last bits of the conversation she would hear as she approached and stopped.
Takeshi was turning around. Durian was standing right at the door. Levlidian was farther inside.
Welcome back, love. Friend of yours?
The question was mental and just to him, her thoughts portraying themselves in her mind. As Durian looked over the other form, one of Saiyan blood was obvious. Tail. Strength. Position. Even the attire would hint to it. Durian’s signs of her own species were also obvious, if one knew of it. If this Saiyan was from Vegeta, she likely would? Shortened locks of the female would dance with light and color from the sun above, a near rainbow coming off the strands. Red eyes that had been rekindled without hatred would still be staring upon the Saiyan female. Other than that, Durian was almost human looking. Tall, slightly taller than Levlidian, and taller than the female to boot. Pale skinned, somewhat lanky. There would be a few oddities for the woman herself. No mask was over her face, leaving her expression easy to be seen. No gloves upon her hands either. Shoes of black, with slacks of the same color. Bandages wrapped themselves around her stomach and torso, keeping her appropriate for wandering eyes, at least mostly. Her jacket was swung over her shoulder, but so was something else. One of the bipedal dinosaurs. Having lost its life to the kagami, it hung helplessly over her shoulder. A few hints of blood stained the woman’s black and bandages, but overall the kills hadn’t been brutal. Just tenderize the meat!
“He invited you in? I’d assume you’re welcome if he welcomed you.”
There was a bit of uncertainty from Durian for the mere presence of the female, but nothing major. She did attempt a comforting smile, though it didn’t come naturally. This person was new. And Saiyan. It was hard to completely wipe old habits. How was she supposed to react to this newcomer? She didn’t know... But if Levlidian trusted them enough to show her their home, then she should trust them enough. For now.
At the very least. Takeshi wasn’t going anywhere. Durian blocked her exit. And attempts to pass her would prove... interesting.

Levlidian peered back at Takeshii and a look of concern bloomed, she wasn't usually this withdrawn at least; she didn't used to be. "Kesh I invited you, of course I want you here and of course you're not trespassing," he'd roll his eyes and the young Saiyan moved further ahead when he heard a running pair of boots. "Kesh!" he turned only to be faced with Durian and his oldest Saiyan friend had drawn to a halt or might have, we'll find out. he heard that gentle call and nodded, "Very old friend, from my childhood, she's one of the good ones love," Still he strode towards the lean figure of the Kagami and grinned just as he had done a thousand times before; a broad, toothy and goofball grin that suggested his childish side. "This is my old friend, from Planet Vegeta, one of the only ones I have left," he'd look to the long haired female and mention nothing of her plans before hand, he was sure they'd changed by now in any case.
"Takeshii, meet Durian, Durian, Takeshii, I hope you don't mind m'dear but I offered her a room in the ship. Whilst she gets herself sorted out," Slowly the young Saiyan re purposed himself, striding to the sofa he'd seek fall upon it and groan, he could still feel the bruises where Takeshii had thrown him into a wall, despite her low power level, that woman still packs a serious punch. It had been a while since he'd still felt injuries, wait- he pulled out the remote from the sofa and sighed tossing it to the cloth. "Much better," he'd muse and tilt his head back to peer at the women. "I promised to give her some training," it was motion he'd intended to follow but their flight had taken some time to get them home; now it was grwing dark and soon he was up and bustling about the Kitchen. "I'll whip up some meat and ale stew, Durian I know you can't eat it- so I'm going to get you something less so,". off he went, bustling through the kitchen and awaited the approach of his Kagami with the meat she'd gathered.
This couldn't possibly go wrong," he thought to himself even as his gut screamed at him, he'd drawn two important souls in his life together and still he hadn't clocked on to how dangerous that was. Then again, perhaps part of him harboured some small residual resentment over the elaboration on Kazar- the corn in his hand suddenly popped and the young Saiyan glanced down to stare at the vegetable. "Whoops," he muttered and plucked up another to begin work about it, steadily, the beast worked as what ever interaction would bypass in that moment preparing vegetables and worked at the ale whilst he waited to prepare the meat. Why Durian brought such things home he didn't understand- kagami can't digest meat or perhaps it was some way she ensured the Saiyan gained his needed protein.

Oh yes, she was turning on her heel and making her way right towards that door and getting the hell out of...shit! There in front of her was the kagami, blocking her escape, and causing a bit of a growl to come from the Saiyan as she clenched her fingers into fists. Breathe Takeshii...just breathe...nothing bad is going to happen...she is just another woman right? She closed her eyes, counting softly to herself...one....two....three....crap, it wasn't helping. She was starting to tremble for several reasons. Though she was a fighter, when it came to situations like this, she suffered from a high level of anxiety. Her anxiety was one of the things that drove her rage. When she tried to suppress it, it would only bring her power to a level that was hard for her to control...or at least had been hard for her to control in the past. When she would finally speak, her voice would come through gritted teeth.
"Durian...as he said, I am a....friend...from Vegeta."
She would watch Levlidian as he moved to bring himself to relax upon that sofa and she let out a sigh. How in the world could he be so damned comfortable with all of this when all she wanted to do was scream. She crossed her arms beneath her chest, eyeing the door just beyond Durian...a door that was now blocked by the woman. She let out a sigh and would turn to make herself to one of the other couches in the living area, lowering herself down and tucking her feet beneath her hips. She watched Levlidian move to make his way into the kitchen and make them all something to eat. Was she really hungry? Okay, maybe just a little hungry. A gaze would drift over to Durian then, and the Saiyan would move that gaze along her form as if sizing her up. She was competition after all..or at least that was what would go through her mind, though it was competition for a completely different reason.
When Takeshii had come to this land, it had been with the intention of finding and either killing or returning Levlidian to their home. However, she could not deny the emotions that had quickly returned the moment she had laid eyes upon him once again. This was so messed up. How could she still have feelings for someone that had betrayed her family...had betrayed her. She would tuck her feet up beneath her hips then, and rested her chin on her knee as she got a sort of sad, lost look in her eye. A part of her felt like she had never truly meant anything to the other Saiyan. If she had...it would have never been so easy for him to move on. A sigh slipped from her lips, but she said nothing for now, feeling that the silence was better than trying to explain herself to someone who would surely not understand.
She could smell the scent of Lev cooking in the kitchen, and her stomach gave an involuntary growl of hunger. Dammit for base needs and all of that. Oh well, she would stay, she would eat, then she would leave...maybe to the ship...maybe she would just leave somewhere and find something else for herself. Bah, her head was not on straight right now. She was being brash, even with the woman before her being...friendly. She would look to Durian again and watch her, just trying to judge what it was that Lev saw in her. What made her so special to the man that had never settled down with anyone...the man that had always been so dead set on any sort of relationship before.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Confirmation from Levlidian that this newcomer was one he brought eased her mind a bit. It also made her following statements ring more true. But... why was she running? Fists were clenched. Stress or restriction of some sort lining the muscles of the female before her. It was curious and she was unsure exactly what to say. She doubted a stranger wanted another stranger to point out their stressors.
“You need to work on your charm, Lev.”
The mental taunting would travel into his mind with just a brief glance from the Kagami. A playful glint in her eye, but otherwise her expression remained much the same as before. She was surprised to see someone new, even if she had sensed them. For it to be a female saiyan... she wasn’t sure if that should throw her off or not. She wouldn’t doubt Levlidian. She’d trust him with anything. So, she’d have to trust that this woman held her no trouble either. The grin of the goof behind Takeshii would allow Durian to dismiss it for now.
The man introduced them both, Durian giving a brief nod while still holding to the meat over her shoulder. “It would be difficult for you to welcome someone if I was opposed.” The Kagami would smirk in return, teasing the male Saiyan and then looking to the female. Takeshii was her name. Kesh was apparently Lev’s nickname for her. “You’re welcomed here. By both of us.” Nodding once again as if to confirm it, she’d see Lev move from his position. There was some... hesitance in the mind of the Kagami. Vegeta. This frustration rolling off Takeshii. The words through gritted teeth. It was worrisome. Thankfully, Takeshii’s original plans had been left silent. And the offer of the room in the cabin. Worse things could have befallen the male Saiyan at revealing such things.
At seeing him part for the couch, she’d give a moment for Takeshii to backtrack, which she did. Leaving for the living room as Lev had. Durian would continue to the kitchen. Meat over her back wasn’t something she wished to continue to have. Flopping it over onto a counter with a ‘thud,’ she’d release her body of the weight. It didn’t take long before Lev had himself in the kitchen as well. He basically bustled her out. Dashing his limbs about to grab what he needed and letting her know he’d be cooking. Rolling her eyes and withholding an amused chuckle, she’d leave him to it. Walking back towards the sitting room and taking a seat for herself. Across from the one known as Takeshii. Lev’s thoughts didn’t escape her. Clear to her mind. She’d briefly eye him, curious as to what he meant. She almost commented. Almost. Then left it be. A slight shiver of worry racing through her blood as she wondered what had stressed him. Even her goddess held no comfort for this, something unsettled with Mitra as well.
Sitting upon the sofa, she didn’t curl much into the ball that Takeshii had. Relaxing back into it, stretching her feet out. She felt... tired. The day had been long. She missed her mate. And now there was someone new. She didn’t want the female to feel unwelcome. But... Durian was also not the most social creature. This was just as tiring as any physical training Lev could put her through. Taking in a deep breath, the Kagami would notice the look of the Saiyan woman. Calculating. Almost reminding her of a slave trader in a way. Attempting to not let it bother her, she’d lean forward. Resting her elbows upon her legs and bring them into more ninety degree angles instead of straight out. Her head resting in her hands, she’d put her attention upon Takeshii.
“He’s a pretty good cook. He’s quite the homemaker as well. He built this place and it’s all his work. I imagine you didn’t expect this when you met one another again.”
A light grin coming to her lips, she’d try to lighten the air. The Saiyan looked down. Curled up in herself, resting upon herself, and a far away look in her eyes. Durian had seen into her mate’s past. The girl was vaguely familiar. But not in a sense of recent. On Vegeta and with his family. But not in the past years... not that Durian had seen or could remember. Before a lot of that pain and some of the scars. Takeshii wasn’t something she recalled being a grudge in his heart.

Levlidian worked his hands quickly, the blade did glide through the meat as he'd motion after Durian replaced it, indeed the bustling took place as he was deep within his work. Nerves danced through him but he was careful, careful what he portrayed. Before the cutting had come the gutting, the young Siayan had become relatively limber with the noiton of meat preparation. Behind him he could hear Durian speaking and her voice entered his mind so readily, yet he knew her techniques and grinned to himself. replacing the thoughts in his mind and playfully rolling his eyes, "I know, but this is nerve wracking for me,". on wards he drove slipping the now prepared meat onto a platter and sinking them within the oven he'd erected beside the sink. How oblivious he was to Takeshii's mind, and the Saiyan stopped to peer out the window a moment. It truly did bother him the way he'd left her. Had he even brought Takeshii was it a wise choice? Durian would know, perhaps he'd speak to her about it later and if she was unsure, the God beneath those layers would.
It flashed before his eyes, the moment he'd stopped before the abode his friend lived, the hordes of Saiyan Guards, the torn feeling in his chest despite all that rage. Young Levlidian had struck down many and yet what was a few more to creep closer? Through that red scene he'd attempted to stride only to stop, what if she'd side with them? Had he really thought that, the girl who'd been so loyal? There the Saiyan fled, free of his first choice followed by others and the kitchen came back into focus. Adjusting his jaw, looking to the sink he'd slowly close his eyes to the bubbling sounds drawing from the steadily cooking meat. Sweeping free he'd start to gather the vegetables and snatch other blade; swiftly he'd slice the greenery to fine lumps and place them in a wooden bowl.
"You girls want to eat in there or shall i prepare a tab- damnit I didn't get a table," the Saiyan swept his arms upwads and allowed them to fall in irritation. Then again he'd never expected to have guests or intend to treat them so- human like. In truth, none of them were human and he sighed irritably to the idea and returned to stir the stew he'd prepared. Time passed and he'd remove the meat from the oven and slip it within before applying a heft notion of salt. Stirring on Levlidian couldn't help but reflect again and again, though he'd begin to speak. "Durian, could you get something to drink?". What was it those of the North edifice as normal? Wine perhaps?

Takeshii had backtracked, backtracked and flopped her backside right down on that couch, and for the moment she had no intention on moving. Her nerves where on edge at the moment, and she felt like she was going to snap. Why? Why did she feel this way? She was just a woman right? A former slave of their people? She was nothing to be afraid of. She tried to sucker up her pride, to pull in that strength she knew she should have, even though, inside she felt like mush. She let her gaze continue to shift quietly over Durian as she sat there watching her. Why was she watching her? Was she judging her? When Durian spoke to her, it caused the Saiyan to jump, flexing her fingers involuntarily. What the heck was wrong with her? Her voice would come then, and she was using all of her effort to keep her nervousness in check.
"Well I appreciate the welcome Durian. To be honest, it was not what I was expecting."
She let out a sigh as she willed her body to relax, the Saiyan listening to the sounds of Levlidian as he moved about the kitchen cooking and preparing food for all of them. The scents that filled the air where delightful and she was rather hungry. The chicken fingers they had had at the bar where not the least bit enough to keep her satisfied for long, but then again she had spent a lot of power and energy trying to bring down Levlidian during that time frame. Lev, just thinking about what she had been doing, what she had been brought here for brought a half frown to her lips. A shake to head as if chasing away flies and she would lightly chuckle, almost to herself.
"Yes, none of this was what I was expecting. Least of all finding out that Lev had turned into some sore of Suzy Home Maker. It is strange to see, to say the least. Though I am very happy for him."
The last bit felt a tad strange coming from her lips. Was she happy for him? He had moved on in his life like she had never existed. Had he ever thought about her, about the things they had did growing up? Had he thought about all the time they where together? Her fingers twitched a bit on her lap, almost as if dancing upon her knee while she lifted her gaze and looked towards the kitchen and then smiled.
"I suppose something good had to come out of him leaving Vegeta. Might as well be him learning how to cook and fend for himself. At least i know he can take care of himself in that way. I won't be here long, I have every intention of setting up a place for myself to train and grow stronger. Maybe do a little traveling and see where that takes me."
To be very honest, she had no intention of sitting around watching Lelidian and Durian in their happy little home. The thought of such things disgusted her, or maybe it wasn't disgust but something else entirely? Either way, she needed to get out of here as fast as possible, otherwise she was going to wind up doing something she regretted. She would move to sit forward a bit, bracing her elbows on her knees as she spoke to Durian.
"While I am here, I will do my best to not be a burden to either of you. I will try to keep myself out in the ship and training as much as possible. I think that will be the best thing I can do at this point."

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Nerve wracking? Why?
Durian wished to ask him more, but that would have to wait until another time. Distracting the male who had already popped corn for no particular reason that she could fathom, was not something she desired to do. Especially with a blade in hand. While she didn’t worry he’d overly harm himself, trying to heal a finger back onto her mate didn’t seem like a pleasant way to spend the rest of the evening. The Kagami had to force herself to not worry over the man. He’d be fine. Her attention need be spent on the other Saiyan. The one that Levlidian had brought home. As much as she wished she could have switched places with Lev, have him speak to his friend and her cook, this was not what he had set up for her. Was there a motive behind it? Or was it simply the lack of thinking on his part? Either seemed entirely possible.
Takeshii’s words rung oddly in Durian’s mind. She... didn’t expect to be welcomed by her? What had Lev told Takeshii of Durian then? Did she still come off so gruffly that Lev would warn his friend about her? She’d have to ask him later... It might be odd to question a new person what exactly she meant by such words.
The phrase of Suzy Home Maker was not one Durian had heard before, but the point was clear. The grin upon the Kagami’s lips didn’t fade as she assumed Takeshii was poking fun at the male Saiyan as much as Durian had. Her gaze flickered momentarily to the man, but he made no reaction. No defense of himself at the girls’ teasing. Durian could only imagine that this was all strange to see for the woman. Raised on a planet of Saiyans, Durian never recalled one coming to live as Levlidian had. At least... in his calmer nature. He still held the heart of a warrior. That much was familiar to her.
Takeshii would express her plans. Getting a nod from Durian. It didn’t seem like a bad plan. When Durian came to the planet, she hadn’t set up a home. She merely traveled the planet to train and avoid Saiyan eyes and senses.
“You’re welcome as long as you wish to stay. Building takes time. Training takes time. We won’t leave you if you still need anything from us.”
A simple and brief fear gripped her heart. Emer. Hinawa. Both of them had left after promising to help her train. It was quick, and meant little, but the fear came that Levlidian was now planning the same. Run off with Takeshii and leave her deserted again. It was a silly notion, Durian knew it to be so as did Mitra. Her goddess telling her of her foolishness the moment it crossed her mind. Still. The brief thought had existed.
“You’ve been no burden as of yet. And if you are, I’ll have to blame Levlidian. He brought you in the first place.”
The mocking grin of the Kagami returned. Takeshii shouldn’t worry. Well.... she should, but Durian didn’t know that. There were a few things that Durian didn’t know that could make her attitude change very easily.
“Training goes more quickly with assistance, at least in my experience. Feel free to bother either of us. We both could use new blood to test ourselves out on.”
When the man would call to them, Durian’s gaze would shift to him once again. A table. It hadn’t occurred to her but his disappointment and actions were amusing. Such a child. A smirk upon her lips and a stifled laugh, she’d watch the irritated male with amusement. But no answer need be made. There was no table to be had. Eventually Durian would still have to get up. Lifting her body from the couch as she strode to the kitchen. Something for them all to drink. As she’d pass Takeshii, she’d look to her and question.
“Any requests?”
Pausing long enough to get an answer, then to retrieve what was either asked for, or what Durian thought best. Her own mind focused on things less... alcoholic. Durian was not one to drink, it dulled her senses and she never welcomed such a thought. However, if it was asked, she’d provide. Levlidian had a few things stored within the home that she didn’t normally partake in. Meat, for example.

Bah! Things where far too cordial. Here she was thinking that this woman would flip out the moment she stepped foot in the door. Not only had she NOT flipped out, but she was actually being inviting. This was FAR from what Kesh had planned to walk in on. She reached up to rub at her temples a moment, trying to clear her head enough so that she could focus on what was happening. She could smell the food, and her belly gave an involuntary rumble, and she looked down at it in exasperation. Why did her body have to betray her, especially now. She would give a bit of a sigh and push herself up off of the couch for a moment, making her way to follow Durian.
"Something strong...uber strong. Or whatever you got...heck I have no clue."
She gave a bit of a sheepish look as she walked, moving past Durian and making her way towards the kitchen where Levlidian was cooking. Pausing in the doorway, she would lean her back against it, a smirk playing over her lips as she shook her head. She just watched him for a bit, the way he moved about the kitchen, the way he just seemed so natural there. Her huff of laughter would be the only thing that would come from her lips before she was stepping forward into that kitchen, pushing herself into his space a bit.
"Lev, you look far too relaxed in the kitchen. Your lucky we are not back on Vegeta. All your old friends would have laughed at you to see you so whipped."
She was being snarky, she knew she was, but she did not care. One of the ways she handled emotion was to become overtly mean sometimes. She figured if she was going to be uncomfortable, well then others might as well be...right? Ah, she was so foolish sometimes, but she was so naive when it came to handling such matters, that she did it in the only way she knew hows. With aggression. Even against people she cared about. Did she care about Lev? Is that what all this was about in the first place? Did she still care about him? That gaze would lift again to look at him, her brow furrowing in frustration before she would shake her head again.
"What you need me to do? I might as well help get the dishes or whatever."
She felt so bloody awkward at the moment. Like she shouldn't be there. Looking over her shoulder, she would look off towards Durian, wondering if she knew what was going through her own mind. Wondering if she even knew, would she be as welcoming as she had been? Dropping her gaze back down, she would push herself back a bit, trying to put a bit of distance between herself and Levlidian, at least as much distance as the damned kitchen would allow. That want to leave was still resting in her heart, but she was remaining put. She could not wait for this night to be over so that she could just go back out to the ship and go to sleep.

Levlidian bustled heartily within the confines of the kitchen, preparations had been made and now he simply reheated the meal and glanced back for the door, he could hear the women chatting and smiled unto himself despite the situation he faced in the wake of the coming days. Takeshii was going to wind up depending on him, he knew it, he'd done the same with Lily and when she-. He stopped and placed both hands to the side of the kitchen, adjusting his jaw the beast sought turn only to be faced with Keshii. She had said something, he scrambled for the words for he was unsure of the notion behind them, he hadn't wanted Durian to worry for him.
"Maybe they would," he'd muse and flash he a smile, baring the ivory beneath his lips and closing his eyes in he wake of it. "Though their opinion no longer matters to me, I'm happy," he'd then shimmy to the food and begin apprehensively preparing it. Pouring the stew into large bowls and listening to his mate bustle about preparing something of the like for their guest. "here," he'd hand over a bowl to Takeshii, "i wouldn't worry about helping kesh, you're a guest here and I'd not expect any sort of help, you're stuck here because of me,". He'd then pat her shoulder, uptake the following bowl and venture past er in search of his woman. He felt the guilt rise like bile in his throat, this planet had done wonders for his temperament but it had also given him a conscience.
Striding out onto the wooden floor he'd pause, adjusting his jaw in the dimmed light the beast pulled back and he regarded his friend with a beckon of his hand. "Come on, we can all have a conversation over dinner,". On his way back to the nostalgic notion that was their living room; Levlidian took time to gaze about the room. He'd shared his home with Durian for such a limited time but already she pooled together so many good memories. When he brought the Saiyaness here, Lev' had hardly considered her feelings about it and he hung his head a moment. He was so bad at this, so enthusiastic he was to help Kesh he'd over looked basic etiquette. Locating Durian he'd do two things: one he strode to her and offered the bowel and the second he'd kiss her lips briefly and smile appreciatively; "Thank you," he mused, "For doing this for me," an enigmatic gesture and yet he knew she'd understand.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Eyeing the female Saiyan as she spoke about needing a strong drink, Durian would give a hesitant nod. She had no trouble giving the woman what she desired but... She was not good with alcohol. If they owned any, Levlidian had most assuredly gotten it. It’s possible Levlidian would share with what the other Saiyan wanted, or at least as close as they could come. Durian opted for water. Filling large glasses full of liquid, two of a dark tan color. Durian.. wasn’t exactly sure what it was. But it wasn’t something she had seen Lev drink often and had the smell of an alcohol to the Kagami.
Takeshii would move to comment and speak to Lev as Durian moved about, taking the filled drinks to the coffee table to set them down. Lev had pointed out there was no main table, so they’d likely be sitting out there. He got the food, Takeshii was with him, and she’d set drinks out. Simple enough. Things were going fine... even with the oddity of it all. Even hearing Takeshii’s comments didn’t overly aggravate her. Though she did shoot a look to her mate from her position in the living room. He may catch it, he may not, but her words would ring clear in his head. It wasn’t a look of anger, but one of an amusing smirk.
I’ll make sure you’re whipped all right.
Came the Kagami’s mental tone. Withholding a chuckle as she’d look away from the male and set the drinks down without further word or thought. Lev handled the Saiyan’s further questions. How she could help out. Durian was a bit proud of her mate. Telling Takeshii it would be fine and that she was a guest. He was homey. It was cute. Odd for how much of a competitive male he was, but still amusing and appealing to her. In her life she was always that accommodating mat to be stepped on. It was encouraging to her heart and mind to see that even the powerful Saiyan could be of good cheer and accommodating.
Each was handed their food as Lev finished his preparations. Durian was given a moment more. A quick kiss and a thank you. Smiling, she refrained from laughing. She didn’t want to keep Takeshii and put her in more of an awkward position. “You do the same.” She countered, going back to the sofas and sitting down with the newly acquired food. It smelled good, as his dishes often did. Her mate was skilled in many things~
“From student to teacher so quickly, Levlidian. Can you handle both of us?”
She mused with a smile. Trying to open up some sort of conversation while biting into the food he had made. No meat. She was sure he had remembered and separated as such, so she didn’t hesitate to dig in.

Takeshii had teased Lev, but more so as a cover up to hide her nervousness then anything else. Perhaps if she just pushed the thoughts from her mind, it would be one less things she had to focus on right? Besides, how stupid was she for thinking about things when his mate was RIGHT THERE! She let out a sigh, but would gratefully reach for that bowl of stew, her hands shaking as she took it from Levlidian, even though she tried to hide that fact. YOU'RE NOT A LITTLE GIRL ANY MORE KESH! She screamed within her head, getting more and more angry with herself as time went on. She looked to Levlidian, offering him a quick word of thanks, before she would make her way off into the living room once again.
Takeshii settled back onto the couch she had been sitting in, it being on the opposite side of where the others were settling in. Her feet would tuck beneath herself and she settled the bowl on curled up knees, before digging in to the hearty stew, full of meats and vegi's. It was good, damn good...surprisingly good. She would loft a brow for a moment before looking to Levlidian while she ate. Not saying a word, she simply shook her head and snorted in laughter. Never in all of her years, did she think she would be sitting here chowing on Levlidian's cooking. Sure, thoughts of them conquering planets together for the rest of their lives had been there when she was a kid, but oh how times change. She ate in silence for awhile, then hearing Durian picking on him as well, she could not help but smile.
"Funny thing is, when we where younger, it was I who was the teacher and savior. If it had not been for me his brother would have beat him to a pulp far too many times."
She would shrug her shoulders as she remembered all the times she had had to get in between the two. It had been planned, that when they where old enough, Takeshii would be taking one or other of the brothers as a mate. That continued connection between the two families that would only make them stronger. Or so they thought. As she ate, she sat and wondered if things would have been different had they NOT turned out the way they did? Would they still be in Vegeta watching the younger Saiyan's....their Saiyan's...climbing the same trees they did when they were kids. Her brows would furrow and she would shake her head for a moment before looking over towards Levlidian and Durian. They where happy together, that was most evident, and she was little more than a third wheel. She really needed to get a place of her own, and quickly.
"So how hard is it to get a place of your own built around here? I mean, if I am going to be staying on Earth, I might as well get my own place to train in and stuff."
She realized then that she was repeating herself and grew quiet. Truth be told, it was more the thought of being away from them so she would not have see the lovey dovey actions every day. She felt so incredibly awkward just being here, watching the little kisses and motions that the two shared. It disgusted her! Or maybe it was just that hint of jealousy that caused it? Why the hell was she jealous? She had come here to kill Levlidian, remember. Stupid Saiyan! Get out your damn head and get over it. Nothing is going to change. He has moved on, it is time you did the same. She would clear her voice then and plaster on that all too fake smile.
"You're a pretty good cook Levlidian. Durian better be careful or she won't be that thin for long."

Settling into his seat, Levlidian brought a heavy sigh a long side his form up taking such things, a grunt was issued and the beast lent his frame into the softness of their sofa. In his hand lay the bowl containing his stew but saw no point in involving himself in the conversation just yet. It made him nervous, sure, Takeshii had tried to kill him on her first arrival here; this he'd kept from Durian for he knew what telling her would mean and he wanted to give his friend that chance he didn't have. For months he'd wrestled with peoples opinions, even Durian saw him as nothing short of a fire starting Saiyan; at first. He knew that he'd have to allow her in on the secret eventually but- not now. The three of them had settles down to a lovely meal between them, now Lev' was no Gordon Ramsey, to anyone this would be the first admittance he'd grant over his food. However, when Takeshii turned to him with comments of positive reinforcement to the skill he'd acquired, who was he to deter them. "Cheers," was his only answer and soon enough he'd tuck into the food. With each spoonful, the delicious mixture of his mates hunted kill and vegetables he'd picked up at the Market. It hadn't occurred to him at all that he was one soul who's disposition as a powerful Warrior was humbling, not just humbling but life absorbing; he'd become a man of the home and a man of a woman who deserved nothing but the best. Durian had shown him his beliefs were true, true enough that he could become much more than the animal he'd been born as. Even as he'd flutter a gaze between the women it was an amusing that each of them knew a different Saiyan, the brutal barbarian with Takeshii and the Honourable Warrior turned home Husband with Durian.
"I’ll make sure you’re whipped all right." with a flash of a grin, he'd not utter anything and he'd tilt his head to the side in kind to it. <"Only if you can keep me down long enough,"> He'd chuckle and rest in his position and reach for his drink. It was indeed something strong, one of the thank you's he'd received back in the North for his actions. Again he reflected but not quite on the fight he'd taken part in, the dangers he'd exposed himself to in the wake of his Masters training. What did it matter, Hinawa had vanished and with the sounds of it, right around the time Emer had done or relatively close to it. He hadn't made the connection before but it seemed the Fox had made off with her own Kagami, he was bitter about that- or he was. Adjusting his jaw and peering to Durian, he was obscured by those thoughts once again and he fell silent whilst he'd listen to the women converse- and remember of their first day, the day he'd turned Super Saiyan and everything had changed.
"I think I'll handle you both just fine," he'd chuckle as Durian spoke, "I've trained with far wilder people. Demons being the worst of them. Except that idiot with the rock music," he'd shake his head remembering Mammon. He had Durian had been subject to his word play, From the moment they'd met he'd tried to turn the pair on one another- however he'd turned on him and the man fled the moment any notion of violence was shown. ironically, Lev' hated the talkers, well at least the talkers who wouldn't fight to back up their words. Cunning, cloak and dagger, they were foreign objects to him despite his knowledge of them; future use too. "Well sweet heart, as Takeshii will tell you I was quite the prodigy on our home planet. As a boy I was challenging adults early on, grasped combat fairly quickly-," he'd pause to a mouthful of meat, chewing absently and musing over the delicious taste. "-as for building a home, I don't even know who'd stop you. As far as I am aware these lands are all natural, not a soul for miles and you should be able to do as you please with the lands," he'd look to the Saiyaness and smile, she'd already contemplated staying. This was good, it gave him more time to try and make up for his transgressions. A selfish though, perhaps but inspite of everything- Levlidian was still a Saiyan
"Though it's true, this one trained me as a boy" he'd nod to Kesh', "Though it was more like she'd try to prepare me for my brother. cad' wasn't quite my Father- but he sure knew how to throw a right cross when I got mad," laughing as he'd take in more food. Adjusting his jaw to the food he'd replaced within, Levlidian chewed for several minutes and then glanced between each figure again with his singular obsidian orb. "It's actually one of my honours to train with both women who made most of an impact in my life. Past and Present, there was two others but one vacated second she got a chance, the other is buried outside," he sounded bitter but the alcohol soon smoothed that over and he'd toss the glass down settling in place and encircling the bowl with his cutlery, going quiet to allow the pair their conversation.

TO BE BOUND BY WORDS AND HEART
Durian winced as a thought penetrated her mind. Levlidian tended to speak strongly, but not yell. This was powerful. Emotional. Likely frustrated? Not being a little girl anymore... The thought was obviously Takeshii’s, but Durian didn’t know where it originated from. Why it was said. A glance to the female Saiyan would show Durian that it hadn’t really been intended for her. Or, so she thought. She was handed her food and went off to the living room without any more thoughts or words, besides a thanks to Lev. The Kagami would keep a side eye on her, but let the Saiyaness go. Probably just strong thoughts. Callion had the same.
All of them seated, Durian attempted to open the floor. Make a joke at her lover’s expense. He was strong and it wasn’t something he should be overly sensitive about. It was something she hoped to calm the other woman with. A subject she knew but wasn’t overly personal, Levlidian himself. The smile was good. Takeshii actually showing some positives and it made the Kagami’s heart beat a small bit less rapidly. It had been a long time since she was actively trying to make someone feel welcome.
“I’m sure he still needs a teacher. And someone positive from his youth may be the lesson he requires.”
In response to Takeshii’s words, Durian would grin. She could imagine Levlidian needing someone to teach him. He was a headstrong man now, but as a child she was sure he was something else. She had seen glimpses of his past, most breaking her heart, but Takeshii was a light in that darkness. One that he apparently depended on a lot more than Durian realized. To have her back... maybe it would help calm him as much as Lily had. Durian could be a lot of things... But to live up to a childhood friend or be the type of person Lily seemed to be... that seemed out of reach. Levlidian deserved more. He deserved friends to trust.
Takeshii’s next question would get a blank stare from the Kagami. Durian hadn’t thought of it before but.. she was basically a huge moocher. Her beginning life was fueled as a slave, but she was taken care of physically. Had a home. Had food. She did as she was told and she lived comfortably. Once she came to Earth, she worked for everything. But she never had a home. She never had a ship, or food, or things that normal people had. She moved place to place and worked... Now. She took advantage of Lev. None of this here was hers nor had she built it. Even when she had the chance to assist him with the ship, she had cowardly shifted away and even taken advantage of his time.
So rather than answer, she’d listen to Lev. Shifting uncomfortably in her seat and eating at his food. That he made. The very thing that made her smile, that he was so giving, was now leaving a bitter taste in her mouth. The words to her teasing joke not long before, Lev’s reply, just dug the knife deeper. He hadn’t meant it as such. Her logical mind knew it wasn’t meant as such. But she could only think of how she kept him down. Taking what was his.
Her attention would perk up at the mention of demons. Mammon. They had met him in the North months ago. There was still part of her that wanted to dance in that unknown that he held that could possibly make her stronger. What had he said? Sculpt her? Make her his art? She wasn’t sure. It was all foolish really. But... that’s what Lev had meant. He got her back into the conversation instead of her own thoughts, despite Mitra’s attempts at doing the same.
“An honor until we crush you.”
The Kagami smirked, taking another bite of his food and working much more slowly on the bowl. She felt less hungry. Even if her mood had lifted some from the darkness she took it, she was less satisfied. Not with his cooking. Not with him. But just unsettled. Possibly a byproduct of things changing so quickly in so many ways.
