As Fahren travelled through the capital of Arcose, sitting in her hyper carriage, currently in her suppressed form, she looked outside at the streets themselves. Well, it seemed like Arcose was a bustling center of activity once again, but, she couldn't help but feel like those she was seeing were as strong and as confident as they used to be, before the saiyans attacked. Something had been taken from them. Maybe it was the fact that a good chunk of them at least could die at any time? That the saiyans might change their minds about them, and decide to go after them once more? As Fahren thought about it, she then proceeded to think about how lucky she was. How lucky she, Lecsius, and the family members she had brought with them had been. If she hadn't gotten bored, she might've actually lost more family than she would have wanted to the saiyans. And, thinking about the saiyans potentially coming back, and endangering her family, those who served her, and her empire? Well, it made her blood boil. As much as she wished she could live in her castle, she wished that the Arcosian Empire would come back stronger even more.
As she continued thinking on it, she turned to the guard Arcosian seated across from her. "Does it disgust you, Tundris?"
The Gainsboro skinned Arcosian with white bio-armor looked at her with confusion. "Pardon, milady?"
"Does it disgust you regarding how much we've lost? Despite having regained Arcose, our people still haven't even come close to forgetting the events of the saiyan invasion, or of the previous destruction of their planet. Their capital. The one place in all of the places in the empire where they're supposed to feel the most safe, noble feuds be damned! And, yet, regardless of all the changes that have happened since then, it seems like the Arcosian people will never forget...And, where even is the Emperor?! Hmmmmmmmm? Where is the damned traitor general that killed our previous emperor to 'Make our empire great', only to have seemingly disappeared, gods know even where, while his people worry about all of his FAILURES!" As she yelled the last bit, she slammed her hand into the nearby carriage door, enough to give it a pretty big dent. "I can't even stand it any longer, Tundris. If we can't grab the supposed current emperor, and drag him back to his planet by his feet-" She sighed, and shook her head. "Well, then, we're just going to have to put someone whose not a failure on the throne, aren't we? I can't have my children, nor any other amongst my family, living in an empire where the rulers seem to know nothing except failure. ..." She then hummed in thought. "Perhaps I could even put myself on the throne."
Tundris seemed to look a bit nervous as his lady continued to talk. "M-milady, please, you really shouldn't be discussing things like this in the capital, even while you're in your own carriage."
She gave him a frosty glare. "Please. If anyone should be held accountable for traitorous talk, it's the 'Emperor'. No, he simply started what I assume is going to be a fad. Almost Arcosian worth their salt is probably going to be vying for the throne. Vying for the seat that supposedly proves that they're the greatest of the great. And, yet, judging from the being he previously kept as company- Well, it honestly seems like just anyone can rule the throne, as long as they have great enough power either in them, or accompanying them..." She sighed. "But, of course, I couldn't even dream of touching the throne just yet. Let all the other fools bicker amongst themselves, while I grow in power to dwarf all of them. I shall wait as long as I need to to secure our people's future, as well as my family's..."
