The former king stood before what was his greatest victory. He didn't want to be back to such a place it was filled with nothing but darkness and terrible memories. He had remembered the days where in the deepest levels of the castle he layed the only sounds he could here with the gentle drops of sweat and the rats skittering about the place. The Konstain eyes blared with rage but he had some stuff to take care of well three things. First things first, he had to get an artifact he would need. He'd needed to become stronger more powerful; he didn't fully trust his allies. Alistair perhaps may have good meaning but he still wanted power if Alistair saw him as some loose end or too weak well he'd be thrown on the wind. It was not as if he was some weakling but he still had to make sure to be close in power. The second reason was that he needed to eliminate any kashvarr left in that damn place. This was cause of Vennel; he didn't trust her all that much. Sure, before he meet Kaza was starting to try and let some of the bitterness of an SSE being his knew ally go but he didn't trust her now more than ever. She was plotting maybe he was paranoid but he had to be sure. She wanted to kill the kashvarr yet most of them were gone anyway. Was this an honest pledge or meant to hide something. Getting rid of some of the pests would reduce her reason to get even need to get rid of them. Even if he didn't find any at least they would be gone from the castle in general. Third, he wanted closure. Too long he had been hurt by the memories that clouded his mind and made the past all too bullry. He needed to accept what had happened, no matter what he did destroying the castle, killing the Kashvarr and destroying their rebellion, it didn't matter he could not hold onto the past of why he did it.
The Kashvarr were evil people, yes but they had done it for a reason. Perhaps they knew what forced them to flee and they needed powerful warriors to defeat this foe. Perhaps, they did it because they were just that twisted. Maybe they did because of the curiosity and it went too far who knows. The reason they started would be lost to time but he could not dwell on it. They sealed him with a beast of magically origin and great power and his whole life had been shaped by it. It didn't mean however, it had to be for the rest of his existence. He was Plato of Konats, not the best created by the kashvarr. Perhaps other may of saw it in that aspect, but it didn't matter how they felt. Plato looked around if someone was going to arrive he'd bring them with him. He didn't know what he would find and it was after all a very dangerous place. Even with someone of his power their traps and magically incantations could be an issue if he went all by himself.
(Anyone like going into most likely cursed castles with our favorite Ex-King, well now here your chance if you have that oddly specif desire.)
