The new Mazoku Ship, it was a splendour to see, mainly because Dantlaion wasn't the one who had to write up paperwork, that was luckily someone else's job. He wandered the halls of the ship, he had heard the rumours that there was a Gravity room and decided to bring in some of the fresh meat in for training. Tomoka was the first, the man was just a fresh recruit and if the Mazoku didn't want him betraying them than they would need to develop some sort of trust and he had no faith Tabu was going to do anything of the sort. Next was Trumpet, he might have been a strategist but his mutt Bongo was far from it, and he himself was far from seemingly willing to get into a confrontation.
It took a while, the ship was brand new and he hadn't the time to skulk every nook and cranny, so wandered with little idea of where he was going before coming to a large empty room, a few buttons and gizmos scattered around. He walked up to a dial, turning it but a click and feeling the pressure of the room increase, quickly scrolling it back to normal. "Right. This must be the room then." He muttered to himself, as far as he knew this little secret training wasn't known to anyone other than the invited, lest they spilt the beans.
With a few minutes of free time before the others Arrived Dantalion got comfortable, slipping on his heavyweights, he had no idea if they would help, but dropping his Power Level to theirs ought to make for a more fruitful experience none the less. Then came the gimmicky smoke that he had grown so very attached too, his chest heaved plumes of smoke into the room, covering nooks and cranny as trails of demonic power traced through, his form shrouded in black as garnet eyes registered what little a life he had beneath the cooling vapour of the haze.
"Right, smoke and mirrors set up..." He muttered, looking over the dial one last time, "Might as well see how high this thing can go." He muttered to himself, a deep breath taken in before switching it up to Max, his form quickly crumbling under the weight, the vapours that drenched his skin quickly crushed to the ground and turned into little more than moisture. The door Behind him slammed shut as he slowly peeled himself up, turning it off until the others arrived. "Oh boy... This... This is going to be a troublesome ordeal..." He groaned to himself before twisting on the floor, looking as the door slowly trailed its way up and back to its default position.

For once, Trumpet wasn't being followed around by his brute of a son as he wandered the halls of the Mazoku's new ship. There was no way in hell he was going to allow that unrefined savage around a brand new piece of delicate equipment. At least not until they had everything properly cataloged and ensured against property damage. But this was not an inspection day, this was a training day and Trumpet had an appointment to keep as he looked left and right down the halls in search of the anticipated gravity chamber that everybody was so eager to try out. He caught a faint whiff of smoke coming from just up ahead and immediately wondered if something had gone wrong. Picking up the pace, he rushed down the hall just in time for the door to slam shut before he could reach it. Thankfully, there was a window that allowed him to peer inside to see Dantalion collapsing into a heap on the floor before they shut off the system and restored the gravity to normal. "Hmm, that's what you get for trying to show off." he muttered, noticing the door was now unlocked once again. He pushed the access button as they slid open and stepped inside with his hands clasped behind his back. "If that's any indication of what's to come, then this might be worth the expenses, after all." the Mazoku strategist mused as he strolled up to the demon. Although he hated to admit it, Trumpet needed something like this. It wasn't that he was a poor fighter - contrary to popular belief, he was actually very strong! - but rather he wasn't specifically focused on being a fighter. He knew martial arts, everybody in the Mazoku was expected to do so, but when it came to flashy techniques with over the top names, Trumpet was void of such eccentricities. It was his hope, however, that training at artificially enhanced gravity would give him the edge needed to stay on par with the other warriors. And if he learned some new tricks in the process, all the better for him! --------------------------------------------------- PL: 12,476 - No Modifiers Current Total WC = 354 Dantalion Tomoka

Tomoka marveled at the beautiful ship as he stood outside, the open door an invitation to him. An invitation given to him by the demon he had encountered a day or two beforehand, after he had joined the mazoku. He had been a chilling figure, but he was able to prevent himself from pissing his pants, so he figured he could do that now. Besides, he doubted that in the training to come, Dantalion would most definitely not use his full power. He would most likely find a way to suppress his power, which would, in the end, mean that it would be possible (emphasis on possible) to fight him.
As Tomoka looked through the ship in awe as he headed towards the gravity chamber, he remembered that he had only been on such a large ship on a single occassion.
It had been 2 years ago, and his class had been sent on a "field trip" of sorts. They had gone to a remote planet, within the empires sphere of influence, but not under direct control. It's dominant species was a powerful, lizard like, stone age species. Scouts had reported that when coming into contact with them, their power levels were within a surprisingly high margin: 300-600. This had caused an influx of training missions to the planet, as these creatures were seen as the perfect test dummies.
His class had relished the training, enjoying the feeling of beating down an inferior opponent. They had shouted at them, toyed with them, and beaten them to death. Some of his comrades dragged the fight on for nearly an hour, which he thought was utterly disgusting. He had watched from afar, only intervening when one approached him, trying to attack. He had brought his fist into each approaching lizard man's chest cavity, most likely rupturing it's internal organs. The death was quick, unlike all of the others.
Finally, when Tomoka was called forward to end a few, he had flown into the air, and unleashed a ki attack. He had brought his hand back, concentrating his power into a single, red ball. He had thrown it to the ground, and it had caused a spectacular explosion. He had flown back down, and walked infront of his classmates, a look of anger on his face. They had been cheering when he had finished his attack, but their shouts ended when he landed before them.
"What... is wrong with you people?" He had asked, looking them all in the eyes. The teacher was silent, not sure what to make of what was happening. "You heard me. What is wrong with you people?! Your idea of fun is slaughtering a bunch of reptiles, with not even half your fighting power? And it's even more fun when you drag the fight on for god knows how long, than say that it's a worthy victory! Are you kidding me?!" he had begun shouting, infurriated by them all. He was far from the strongest in his class, but even the elites, with their near 2k power levels, shut their mouths as he spoke.
"You... how can you laugh when you kill them? These... animals! You think it's a worthy victory? A form of training that's actually... respectable?" At that, the teacher had shut him up.
"That's enough, Tomoka! You may find this distasteful and cruel, but not every fight you'll be in will have you overpowering your opponents! One day, you'll face someone stronger than you, and you might just get defeated. But do you want to know the difference between you and these aliens?" The teacher had asked him, approaching the young boy.
"These aliens died a warriors death. But when you die, if you keep up this 'honor' attitude, you'll be complaining about how unfair it is. Unfair that someone is stronger? That's not the real world: that's the playground." He had said this as he crossed his arms, and turned around to the rest of the class.
"Alright, class. We're heading home. All of you have satisfied the required training. Now head back into the ship, strap up, and get ready to go home." He had said this quickly, and they all headed back into the ship.
Tomoka had reclined onto a seat, still angered by his pears, but especially the teacher. How could he get behind slaughtering these things for the sake of getting stronger? It wasn't fair, it was- no. It didn't matter that they were weaker. They had gone their to get stronger, and to harness their strength. Which they had done. This wasn't a right of passage, oh no. It was a simple exercise of power.
As tomoka thought about that on the way home, and drifted into sleep, he had returned to the academies a changed saiyan. He had begun to understand that it didn't matter that his opponent was weaker. Hell, when he was little, he'd killed an entire planet of weaklings. What did it matter now? The answer was simple: it didn't. Not in the slightest.
So, as Tomoka entered the gravity chamber, with his 2 stronger opponents, he was ready to take a beating. But he was ready to get out of their stronger as well. He had removed his battle suit and scouter, not wanting to cause unnecesary damage to the little amount of clothing he had. He came in with the simple, black jumpsuit he was used to wearing under his armor. He cracked his neck backwards, and grinned at the two men in the room.
"Alright boys, let's get started. How about a warm up before this shit gets real?"

Dantalion mulled over as the two arrived, hoping they hadn't seen the crushing defeat at the hands of the ludicrous gravity setting. "Right..." He muttered, looking at the two as they entered the room. "You two ready?" He inquired, it seemed Tomoka was pumped to get to work. At least that was something, though this was simply here to toughen him up, and maybe scar Tabu's ego in the process. He remembered quite vividly his explosive reaction to Tomoka's recruitment but knew even better the confidence he showed in his last sparring match up. Something he was far from earning.
He had prepared a Four Way Match Up, get everyone to the room, chock up the Gravity Chamber to the max and let Tomoka and Trumpet fight it out while he tried to refine Bongo. But what was a plan if it didn't fall through like sand through fingertips. "Okay then... So, No Bongo than? This is gonna make things a little more difficult..." He stated, digits running along the gravity chamber keyboard if only to look busy. "I was going to make this a Four-way matchup... But looks like that ain't gonna happen." He groaned. He knew how three-way battles ended, two people gang up on one and make it a one on one in the end. Unless they couldn't put the one they fought down.
With a reluctant sigh, he turned to the duo, looking them up and down. If Trumpet couldn't put Tabu down not too long ago Dantalion was confident he could give the duo a proper fight. Trumpet, like the Namekian had said, was a Strategist, so he could build some bonds with Tomoka there. And Tomoka was a Saiyan, and as far as he knew there race was warlike and savage a good start, but Trumpet could help refine it. "Since we got an odd number of people. Well... Were setting this up for a Handicap." He stated, a hand pressed against his back as slowly a line of blood and bone revealed itself, no sign or inkling of Pain warping the skeletal features as he drew it out the long cleaver cracking the ground with heavy force.
"I can't sense Power Leve, but you lot I assume can sense mine. So it's gonna be a Two on One matchup. You two Versus me." He stated, his knees bent as he fell into a comfortable position, a single hand coiled around the hilt of the blade as another held the Dial. With a sharp twist of the dial, a coil of Dark Energy formed around his limbs as his blade slowly drew along the floor. The Gravity was set to its first setting, which already was a struggle to deal with as he held his position. He couldn't use speed to close the gap, he would have to hold his position if he wanted to stand a chance. Trumpet | @Tomoka

Unfortunately, Dantalion was not correct with his assessment, as Trumpet ironically could not sense power levels, despite being a scout and adviser. If he could have, he might have picked up on the fact he was allegedly the strongest person in the room. But as it was now, he was forced to play things cautiously until he could gauge his enemy's the old fashioned way. Out of the corner of his eye, he passed a cursory glance to Tomoka before sending him a brief, telepathic message. 'Dog pile on the demon?' he transmitted, hoping the Saiyan would agree that Dantalion was the more important threat for now. After which, he turned his gaze back towards the one who had set this training up. 'Dog pile on the saiyan?' he transmitted, hoping that the demon was in the mood to push the limits of the saiyans' reputation for battle. If his plan worked the way he wanted it to, then the two fighters would bum rush each other as soon as the match started, while Trumpet could slip in a sneak attack at his leisure. He tried to hold back a grin; telepathy was a really good investment on his part when it came to organizing strategy. With that, he cracked his knuckles, followed shortly after by his neck and spoke verbally once more, "Alright then, let's see what all the fuss is about. Crank up the gravity and let's get started!" he walked slowly towards the center of the room, moving into a combat ready stance as he waited for Dantalion to initiate the training program. In truth, Trumpet was more tense than usual, for he had never attempted gravity training before and was no doubt going to require a period of adjustment before he could move comfortably under the strain. A period during which, he hoped, Dantalion and Tomoka would be distracted beating the hell out of each other. Tomoka Dantalion Current Total WC: 320 + 354 = 674

Tomoka waited for the gravity to turn up, and he felt it immediately. He was... surprised, to say the least. Vegeta's gravity was enormous compared to most other planets, but namek was large as well. So, when the gravity went up to 10 times the normal amount, Tomoka was surprised when he nearly fell, but held himself up, sweating from the effort. "Damn, looks like I've gotten to used to this gravity... well, not for long!" he would say this, before he got into a crouch. He than let out a groan, and ki erupted around him as he began to power up. "Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" he shouted, as he powered up to his maximum strength, not able to charge his strength any further. He blinked, than jumped up and down, but just barely. He only got an inch or two off the ground, before being adbruptly pulled back to the tile floor of the gravity chamber.
"Holy crap... this is amazing power!" He exclaimed, and began to walk, his steps more labored than usual. "I had thought that with the strength of such gravity, I wouldn't be able to move. But this is... this is a lot less than I had thought." Tomoka would stretch his arms back, getting warmed up. He heard what the demon had told him, and he listened carefully. He was surprised by Dantalion handicapping himself, which he was somewhat glad to see. After all, fighting someone with a power level of 32k would be near impossible for the young saiyan.
Next, he heard something, and it sounded like the namek's voice. It was clear in his mind, the message being a dogpile on the demon. "What?" Tomoka would say aloud, and would than hope that Dantalion wouldn't be suspicious. "Sorry, thought I heard something." He would say, and begin to wonder if what he heard was... telepathy? That could be the only option. Yes, Trumpet was making a plan in his mind to try and attack Dantalion with his help! But... but was that really the plan? For all Tomoka knew, he could be tricking him into letting his guard down when fighting the demon, and taking one man out of the match quick. That was the more likely option. "Well, 2 can play at that game..." Tomoka thought. He knew what he would do: Trumpet would attack first, and fight against Dantalion, and he would be caught off guard from another attack. Than, he would be able to incapacitate Trumpet, and claim victory. Yes, this plan was perfect! No way he would-
Wait... what was he thinking?! This wasn't an actual battle, it was training! It didn't matter if he was still standing at the end, all that mattered was that he came out stronger. And in every scenario, that was what would happen. So, Tomoka threw his plans to the side. "2 on 1, you say? Alright, but I don't plan on holding back!" Tomoka would shout, as he launched himself forward at his rather terrifying looking opponent.

Dog Pile on the Saiyan? Dantalion thought to himself, shaking the thought off, this was against multiple targets, at least that was his part of the training and piling up on a Saiyan wasn't exactly going to be the way to do so. Trumpet however was busy getting into the middle of the room, Well... Maybe he has full intention of fighting properly. He contemplated, only for it to be tossed aside. If this guy really was a strategist, then this was all part of just that. His strategy.
With the gravity cranked up with only a sliver of movement Dantalion looked as Tomoka got pumped up, though seemed disappointed he could move at all. "The gravity is only at ten Tomoka. If it was any higher you couldn't move." He replied Ki churning in his mouth, a green flare of light sneaking through the creeks of his teeth as he watched the two. He might as well get prepared now for a fight rather than later. Then came confusion in Tomoka's voice, it seemed Trumpet's strategy was confusion, though Dantalion quickly tossed the thought aside. This was two on one training, and he didn't want it any other way.
With the discussion finally tossed to the side Tomoka rushed Dantalion, his Cleaver held steady as he fired a stream of Ki into the floor, cracking it and leaving something short of a landmine. It wouldn't explode, but with the lack of gravity jumping over would be an issue. With the mines set in place, Dantalion twisted his blade around, using the blunt end as to not cleave Tomoka in too on his approach, swinging it to the side to knock down his approach.

If Trumpet had the luxury, he would have face palmed at the moment when Tomoka began to communicate verbally and quite loudly about the plan to gang up on Dantalion. Apparently completely missing the entire reason why Trumpet had chosen to subtly transmit a message into his mind. Then again, Saiyans were notorious for being just as much idiots as they were warriors, so that was a mistake on his own part for thinking Tomoka would be an exception. His first instinct was to take to the air once the fighting started, but the sudden increase in gravity tugged him back down to the floor as he felt the strain on his back and shoulders. His assumption had been right, this was going to take some getting used to before he could employ his usual tactics! 'Jump!' he transmitted directly into Tomoka's mind, hoping that the sudden command would disrupt his fighting instincts in the heat of the moment once Dantalion began his attack. At the same time, Trumpet reared back and fired a punch towards the demon's left knee cap, using the elasticity of his body to extend his arm several times its normal reach and thus keep his body out of distance for a counter attack, should Dantalion sense him coming. Unfortunately, the punch didn't pack as much force behind it as he was hoping for. The enhanced gravity made extending his arm more stressful than normal and he was struggling not to let it go slack as it sailed towards his intended target.'I'll get his legs, so he can't dodge.' he transmitted to Dantalion, the strain in his voice somehow being audible even through telepathy. If Dantalion had bothered to actually watch what the Namekian was doing, he might have noticed Trumpet's arm wasn't targeting Tomoka's legs, but his own. Fortunately, there was a loud, charging Saiyan coming his way to distract from such things. Or so he hoped was the case, if he was going to come out the victor of this little training session!

Tomoka brought back his fist, ready to punch Dantalion the moment he got close enough. But than, he saw that Dantalion had fired a ki blast at the ground, and Tomoka began to wonder what it was as he ran. He realized that he should probably get out of the way, but the moment he prepared for the action, a loud voice in his head shouted "Jump!" Tomoka was all of a sudden caught off balance, but was able to get out of the way in time, but just barely. As he turned to Dantalion, he suddenly saw his cleaver speeding towards his side. Tomoka's eyes widened, as that was the only thing he could do.
He was thrown to the side of the room, hitting the wall with a thud. He groaned, falling down for a moment, letting out a cry of pain as his sides ached. However, he got back up, blood coming from the side of his head. "God... damn... it..." he wheezed, and looked down at himself. The side of jumpsuit was torn, and he pulled off the rest, groaning as it revealed the bloodied flesh beneath, some still oozing from the wound.. "F-fuck..." he groaned, but through the pain, he managed to get into another fighting position, staring at the demon who had hurt him so badly.
"That... hurt..." Tomoka would say, gritting his teeth. "That... really... really... HURT!" Tomoka would now roar, angered by his foolishness. He began to charge his key, pooring all of his strength into a single, concentrated blast in his palm. Soon, it began to grow, and finally, he pulled it behind his head, and flung it towards Dantalion. "Hope it hurts!" Tomoka would yell, before the blast exploded. Tomoka wasn't sure if Dantalion had been able to dodge it, but he doubted he could. Dantalion was already larger and bulkier than the average demon, but the fact that Dantalion was weighed down by heavy weights didn't help. He couldn't help but grin, sure that he had done some serious damage.

Dantalion looked with confusion at Trumpet, he continued to try to play up this game of sabotage. "Stop trying to play dirty. I ain't falling for it." He stated. He hadn't seemed to have understood the first time. This was them two tagging up against him, so his little game of trickery was nothing more than empty chicanery, "Now stop trying to trick me and get into the fight!" Dantalion yelled, starting to grow tired of his antics as his blade was raised, dropping down to impale Trumpet's Arms. Maybe a bit of anger will get him in the fighting mood.
Then came the sight, a bright Ki forming and convulsing in Tomoka's hands. Well, it seemed the young one couldn't handle his emotions all too well. Looks like that was the next thing he had to fix. He tried to fly up in an effort to dodge the attack, only to fall down quickly, the heavyweights tended to not do much to him, other than leave him far weaker than normal, but this Gravity, he remembered why he wanted to play on the defensive and hold his position. He turned back and fourth, the thing had split and without knowing the Power of the move he was forced to play his penultimate Trump Card.
Dark tendrils of purple light licked and flicked around him, for a second his eyes flashing a deep Emerald as his power increased three-fold. The crown elongated its savage points as the thorns lacing his back stretched and thinned, savage points made as his arms spread across his chest, cross armed as he took the blast full bolt. Dust flushed around him, tendrils whipped and lashed at weeping wounds, sapping the Ki from the very air as from the dust and smoke he had only grown stronger. The best part of it all, if he was lucky Trumpet hadn't managed to get out of the way, taking a little of the force with him. Two Garnet lights looked through the dust as it settled, glaring daggers at Tomoka with unintended venom, "Good Shot Tomoka. But ya need to keep your emotions under control." Dantalion stated, he had to run it through his mind, he was angry for sure, but held it back with a measure of control, though slices of anger still seeped his words. "But remember. This is training. We ain't here to kill. Only get stronger." He stated as a free hand went for the cleaver, whether or not it was still there he had yet to notice.

Trumpet saw the attack coming from the not so easily distracted demon and did something he wasn't accustomed to; acting on impulse. He stopped extending his arm, allowing the muscles to go completely slack and causing his arm to take on the serpentine qualities of a whip in the hopes of dodging the oncoming weapon. It worked, for the most part. Instead of being pierced through, the blade only managed to slice open his forearm before he quickly began to retract it once more when he saw Tomoka firing an energy blast towards his opponent. Trumpet didn't want to risk further injury by being near the blast zone when it hit! By the time the attack made impact, Trumpet's arm was back to its normal length, with a diagonal gash spanning from his wrist to his elbow and leaking purple blood. It stung, a lot, but it was nothing his Namekian physiology couldn't easily repair. At present, however, he was more focused on the fact that Dantalion was augmenting his power; even if Trumpet couldn't directly sense it, it was pretty obvious that the show he put on wasn't just for their benefit. "He's a Saiyan, Dantalion." Trumpet spoke up in response to the demon's lecturing of Tomoka, "His idea of training is to let you beat the crap out of him." the mazoku snorted at his own joke before lifting his good arm and firing a basic ki blast at Dantalion's torso, pleased to see that the energy shot was able to travel faster than his limb had, but he wasn't sure how effective it would be with the demon's new enhancements. Fortunately, Dantalion reminded everybody that this wasn't a real battle, which was good, because Trumpet had a secret weapon of his own. But using it here would most likely cause damage to the ship, which would doubtlessly infuriate Xylo. For now, he'd have to fight with his basic strength and hope things paid off in the long run; although he'd settle for being able to catch his breath under this magnified gravity. Tomoka would grin as the attack had hit Dantalion, making contact with him. But... oh my god. The blast... it had... it had SPLIT?! What? How had that happened? The red death had never failed him before, and if he had done his math right, in his current state, Dantalion was only stronger than him by 1k pl! He should have taken serious dama- wait... something was... happening. Tomoka would blink, than step back a bit, and would stare in horror as the Demon before him transformed. Tomoka couldn't sense energy to well, but a feeling in his gut told him that Dantalion's power had just increased massively.
Tomoka would walk backwards again, horrified. "How... how the hell can you do that?!" Tomoka asked, getting flashbacks to the massive monster that had been Tabu's great namek form. "N-no... not again... no no no!" he would start shouting irrationally, a blood curdling scream echoing from the chamber "NO NO NO NO NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" All rational thought left Tomoka's mind as he leapt forward. He had to stop him. Stop him before he hurt Tomoka.
Tomoka would launch a flurry of punches and kicks all over the now massive body of Dantalion, all the while screaming bloody murder. He would jump back after he had thought he had caused significant damage, and fired several small, tiny red deaths toward Dantalion. He didn't care if none hit, he just had to stop him. Stop him before he got to Tomoka. At that, Tomoka brought his hand behind him, once again trying to use the red death at maximum, power, and he flung it forward, hitting Dantalion. He would than collapse on the ground, holding his head in his hands, muttering "g-giant... namek... power... namek... dragon... balls... power... tran-s-form..." he would stay like this for a few minutes, before he finally snapped out of it, breathing heavily. "Oh... oh fuck... that was... that was..." Tomoka would say, before he suddenly got back to his old self. "That was fucking awesome!" Tomoka would say as he turned to Trumpet, a grin on his face.
"Man, I just went f'ing crazy there, didn't I?" he would say as he approached Trumpet. "But... enough chit chat. It's clear to me now... I heard what he was saying, and I know what you were doing, you swindling son of an emperor." Tomoka would spit, anger filling his voice. "So you thought you could pit me and Dantalion against each other, than take us both on? Well, sorry..." Tomoka would say this, before he would than disappear, than reappear right behind Trumpet. "BUT THAT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!" He would roar as his fist would collide with Trumpet's face, most likely sending him a few feet backwards. Tomoka would cross his arms, than attempt to float in the air, but it took much out of him.
"Namek is probably around a 5th of the gravity of Vegeta at least, so this is more of a challenge than I expected, considering you set it to be 10x namek's gravity. But, with Vegeta having such a massive gravity, even though your power level, along with his, are extremely high..." Tomoka would say, before he leapt forward, once again disappearing in front of the namek, only to reappear behind him. "I can keep up!" He would shout, this time bringing his fist into Trumpet's back. He would than jump backwards, landing on one foot. "It's an interesting technique, I know..." Tomoka would say, before he cracked his neck. "I'm sure it's used by many, but, nevertheless, it's very useful when dealing with stronger opponents." He would continue, than smirk. "Anyways, enough talk. Let the real training..." Tomoka would say as he began to power up, "Begin!"

"Goddamnit Tomoka calm your shit." Dantalion replied, annoyance running through his voice as Tomoka seemed to have an even bigger mental break down. Breaking down into an assault against Dantalion, dropping his cleaver as to meet him in fisticuffs, he couldn't use his cleaver in training against him. Otherwise, he might just cut the poor lad in twain. Dantalion didn't make any major hits, the kid's mind seemed to have shattered under who knows what, maybe this gravity had some side effects. Something he would have to check up on with Xylo before getting back in the chamber. Trumpet had said something, but the words had gone by unnoticed, likely nothing more than frivolous taunting on his part. Though it was a mistake on Dantalion's part, Trumpet had managed to get a solid shot in on his sides, allowing a few of Tomoka's punches to get through. "Well... At least they're finally acting like a team." Dantalion stated, under the illusion it was thanks to his telepathy rather than just a happy accident.
With the damage done Dantalion looked to Tomoka, a brow raised as he jumped back, firing Ki pot shots at him, only to be deftly blocked by his cleaver, with his new power he was starting to acclimate to the Gravity and movement was becoming slightly more fluid. The Ki pellets bashed and dissipated, the blade lengthwise as they popped out of existence. "Ya done yet?" Dantalion replied as the red form reappeared, "Right. Not dealing with that again." Dantalion stated as it came rocketing down, his form sitting behind his blade until the last opportune second, his body dissipating from existence, letting the red mass absorb what little a reflection he had left before reappearing at the other side of the wall. Hoping to get a surprise attack on Tomoka, butt he was not the case.
It had seemed he had finally picked up on Trumpet's little games, something Dantalion realised almost immediately. He claimed to be a strategist, well, they tend to lead their troops in battle, not sit there taunting while they do all the hard work and it had come full circle to bite him in the ass, with Tomoka flying into a shifting frenzy, appearing than dissapearing in a repeated fashion as he too started taunting. "Dabura Damnit, what is with everyone and this game of taunt. It's just grating," he stated softly, his features shifting and moulding as he rested aside the blade, rather annoyed at how things were playing out. He ran it through his mind a hundred times out, it was the same. These two weren't simply bad at teamwork, they were completely self-destructive as one.

Had they been operating at normal gravity, Tomoka's punch might have had more weight behind it. But the amplified gravity, combined with the fact Trumpet was noticeably more powerful than the berserk Saiyan reduced the effectiveness of the attack. Instead of being knocked over, or sent flying, Trumpet merely skidded a couple feet backwards while glaring at his so called partner. He leered his eyes at the monkey, his solid red eyes narrowing into glowing slits as he frowned in disappointment. "I'm not one of Xylo's children." he said, cocking back a fist, "And you're just as reckless as Bongo!" he shouted before swinging his good arm in a rising uppercut focused on Tomoka's abdomen. His intention was to force all the air out of the Saiyan's lungs and leave him stunned on the floor as he tried to regain his breath. At the same time he was doing that, he brought his injured arm to fold across his chest and fire another basic ki blast from his fingers towards Dantalion's direction. Evidently attempting to target both fighters at once! Channeling ki through his arm made the injury flare up more, but he was confident he could power through it for a while before the pain became a distraction. "Somehow, I don't think 2 on 1 is going to be possible, Dantalion!" Trumpet declared, a mixture of irritation and expectancy in his tone. He didn't exactly have a high opinion on Saiyans to begin with, and Tomoka's little outburst at seeing his enemy power up did not help improve their reputation in his eyes. The demon, on the other hand, seemed to be more grounded in the moment and aware of Trumpet's attempts to manipulate them. That was worthy of respect, at least; but Trumpet had none when it came to thuggish meat heads like Bongo and, apparently, Tomoka. Tomoka would stare in horror as his attacks had, once again, done nothing to either of his enemies. His attacks against Dantalion had, once again, no effect, and his attacks against Trumpet? They were... less than satisfying. He didn't realize just how powerful the gravity was... he was a saiyan! He was used to high gravity! At worst, this had to be... twice as bad as what he was used to, he could deal with it! Was he simply to weak to fight these 2? These 2 powerful veterans under the mazoku lord, serving him and his interests, while he, the saiyan novice, was powerless under their feet? No... no no, he couldn't lose to them, not like this! He cou-
And than, any thoughts he had, were wiped from his brain as Trumpet's fist collided with his stomach. Every ounce of air leaped from his lungs and into the air, and he doubled over onto the ground. He... he really was nothing. Even with the gravity advantage... his saiyan training... he was nothing at all. Why? After all he had done, all he had accomplished... it was insufficient. But was that really a surprise? He'd survived basic training, and achieved an education, and killed a planet. Basic shit. He hadn't done much of importance, and the fact that he considered it important, when it clearly wasn't suddenly acted as a wake up call to him. Tomoka would blink, and than sit up, trying to stand in the intense gravity. He coughed a bit, before he began speaking.
"I... I don't know who Bongo is... but I try not to be reckless..." Tomoka would say as he finally managed to stand. "I got... carried away... got... a bit freaked out. Sorry, it's just that," Tomoka dawned a sheepish grin, "The moment I got here, a guy transformed, and blew me halfway to kingdom come. So, sorry about how I freaked out about... transforming." Tomoka would say this as he got into a fighting stance once more. "I really didn't know what I was doing... didn't know what was going on. But... I get it now, really, I do." Tomoka would say this before he looked up. "Which is why... I'm not gonna give up. This is training, and there's no point in training if you're just gonna sit down and quite in the middle. That's retarded." Tomoka didn't hesitate to use the word, as it was a word that was flung at him quite a few times a day when he was a young child. Infact, he used it quite often. Something was typed wrong on a transcript? The writer is retarded. Try to cook a bit of steak and the microwave sets it to a rare setting so that you have to cook it for another 20 minutes? Retarded. You train for at least an hour, than blow it off in the middle and get nothing out of it. R to the E to the T to the A to the R again to the D and to the E again and a second D. R.E.T.A.R.D.E.D.
Tomoka now charged forward once more, but his attacks would not be as simple. Occassionally, he would attack with a jab, or a kick to the forehead, and various other uncommon attacks towards the namek before him. "Sorry... for calling you Xylo's son. I had read somewhere that all the namekians were, in the end, descendants of a handful of dudes, so I had assumed it'd probably be Xylo." Tomoka would say, than, hoping not to offend Trumpet, he said, "Is that actually true?"
