Vi-Poi listened to the new queen’s words. He’d expected something like this – a formal rollout of the stakes and the battle-lines. And the long-awaited peace.
“There will be a peace,” Vi-Poi agreed, floating up some so he could look over the heads of some of the hulkier Saiyans attending. “A galactic peace, when we’re done with this, I hope. And maybe then we can have this galactic tournament.” He let his gaze float through the crowd before settling on Habana once more. “My planet and your empire were once enemies. Many of your values are different from our values,” A small grin lit up his face. “But even good friends have lots of differences. And once the bruises and scrapes are healed, fights can build the best friendships. I will help you against the Mazoku, if their mucking around keeps on.” He glanced over at the small Namekian, bemused at the seemingly baleful expressions shot his way.
Maybe he knows about Nuttard the Big Red God, Poi’s ghost mused.
Vi-Poi did a heel-kick into the air, wheeling back towards the double doors. He sent his contact information into the Vegetan databanks, and waved. “I’ll be ready when they come.”

"I suppose it would be best if I took my leave as well." Maeve smiled softly as she gave a bow to her head. "It was a pleasure to come here, and witness this wonderful coronation. I share my sentiments with Vi Poi and swear to do my best to help protect not only Earth but Vegeta as well." The kami clasped each of her hands together and took a bow. "...I do look forward to seeing the things you will do Habana." Maeve singled her gaze on the woman as she looked to her with a smile. She never would have assumed the scrappy girl she fought with in north city would be standing as queen.
Even though she really had no way of knowing that this would truly lead to peace: Maeve could feel the calm that hung in the air. This felt right to her. She had a feeling that, in Habana's hands, things would work out. As Vi Poi had aptly put, there were some scrapes and bruises. Though time healed all wounds right?
Maeve turned, her vibrant grin fading to a soft little smile as she followed Vi Poi out. As she walked onward she'd cast one final glance at the new queen and her commander.
With Habana taking the throne Zoraba could only smirk and give a small clap. He hadn’t had the opportunity to meet the previous Queen of the Saiyans but the new ruler was at least someone he could respect already. He looked around at all the people continuing to discuss more of these people who had attacked. But once more to Zoraba it wasn’t anyone he knew, nor cared for. No one even bothered to address him, and with the true meaning of the meeting through he turned and made his way out. His feet stepping back into the bloody prints he had left coming in. The only real thing that had intrigued the proud saiyan male was the possibility of a tournament. “Maybe this will be an opportunity to claim something more…” he thought to himself as he made his way through the grand doors and out into Vegeta.
Pin smiled wide beneath his helmet. Of course Habana was taking the throne. He could think of no one better to bear the weight of the crown. He nodded, then saluted his new queen, then his new Commander. He would need to catch up with Habana, and would need to familiarize himself with Shemha.
''Congratulations, Commander Shemha. You can find me in the Radditsu spaceport should you need my assistance with a mission. Your Majesty, I'll take my leave for now but I look forward to catching up soon.''
He turned and left the throne room. His father would have been proud - he was friends with royalty!
Habana allowed herself a grin as the others gave there responses to her declarations, while she felt reasonably certain that the Empire did not NEED Earth in order to defeat the Mazoku it was still good to know that if things got particularly dire that they would have backup that she knew would make a genuine difference in the war against the Mazoku.
Even if Vi-Poi himself did not enter the fray having the possibility for even just Maeve to arrive to aid against an entitiy like Ourboros whom Habana believe to be the more direct threat of the two threats she knew of within the Empire. In an ideal world with a bit of training Shemha and Pin would be able to handle Xylo himself while she and Maeve took down his beast.
The idea of the Galactic Tournament also seemed to be going over rather well, were it not for the rather pressing threat of the Mazoku Habana would very much have liked to set a somewhat close date for it, but having the looming idea of the Tournament was better served as incentive for everyone to grow stronger.
As expected none of those assembled chose to stand against her claim to the Empire nor did anyone speak against Shemha being appointed to Commander. “Now that that’s all over with, it’s time to get to work. We all need to push our limits, the Mazoku and the Tournament should be more than enough incentive, I expect my Empire to stand strong against all threats.” It felt far better to call the Empire hers than she had really expected.
With her declaration Habana would give the orders for the guards to begin encourageing the crowd to disperse from the Palace as Habana made her way out of the Throne room, even as strong as she was now Habana knew she still had far more training to do to face the likes of Ouroboros on the off chance she needed to face it alone.
Accordio, Shemha, and any of the others she was familiar with that remained would know where to find her if they sought a bit of group training or help with something. Soon she’d need to contact Brassica and Accordio to smooth out those issues but at least for the moment it could wait.
[Unless anyone is going to halt Habana she’ll be exiting once we cycle back to my post unless someone stops her.]
With the announcement made and no immediate objections to either shared, the crowd within the throne room began to thin. Members of the Empire and off-worlders alike took their leave with small offers of congratulations or silent acceptance of the new Queen. A few glances came Shemha’s way, but only one directly addressed her. His offer of assistance was welcomed and a respectful nod went his way. Unsure of who the android was, she added his identity to the growing list she would ask Habana the next time they were alone. The sudden appointment of her position left with her a lot to learn about the Empire and its allies.
As Habana ordered the guards to help the rest of the crowd disperse, the Majin watched the Queen’s exit, but made no move to go after her. Despite the questions in her head, there was other important work to be done. Several plans that she already had in motion would benefit the Empire even more now that she held a position of influence. Some would be noticeable immediately while others would remain hidden assets.
One last glance at the retreating Queen saw Shemha on her way, a purposeful stroll carried her out of the throne room and then the palace. Outside she looked to the city limits. Today was the first serious step in her attempt to truly strength the Empire, an establishment that continued to show her loyalty and respect. Purpose had finally found the Majin.

The short haired Saiyan nodded at the diminuitive Namekian Guru's explanation for his refusal of her offer for co-habitation. "Fair enough. Just a word of warning before your people go wandering much further then. The Crags are less than... hospitable cus of all the poison gasses in that region. The void of space would be more hospitable than that region." she said, even as he took her tail in his grasp and shook it like a handshake. She'd trained her tail out of the weakness that her species tended to have from the furry appendage, so his grip on it meant next to nothing for her, but the symbolic gesture at least should be appreciated.
"As for what a jungle is... Namek was covered in trees and grass right?" Brassica inquired, double-checking in her mind what sort of terrain the world had. "Imagine that, but much denser clumps of trees, with brightly coloured flora, each one vying for supremacy over the other in an ecosystem where more often than not, the plants are more deadly than the predators that stalk in their shadows and shade." she explained, rubbing the back of her neck. "Get scratched by the wrong plants leaves or hairs, and you could find your blood boiling from its defensive venom, or hallucinations of your worst nightmares appearing before your eyes." the short haired Saiyan warned, giving further explanation.
She gave a slight shrug though after her explanation of the dangers. "But, more often than not, there are sister plants in the near vicinity of the deadly ones that can provide antidotes for the effects of the deadly ones, if you know which part of that plant is safe to eat or make into a paste to lather on." said Brassica, noticing now that people were starting to take their leaves of the throne room. "But, if you decide to pay our settlement there a visit, you should be safe enough if you fly over instead of walking through it." she said, nodding at the Guru in a respectful manner. "I hope your people can manage to make a home here in the interim before reclaiming your world." she said before starting to take her own leave.
The news about this demonic monster on Namek who was able to take on the immense power of a Super Saiyan had Brassica troubled. Especially if this egg-based creature made its way here to Vegeta in the future. Why was it that creatures that came from eggs were always the most dangerous? And if this had been the darkness that the Mammothian had foreseen, then the rest of his prophecy for this age... She had to get stronger. And fast.
Stood as he watched everyone disperse as quickly as they came, all these big shots and no names who came here just to see Habana come into power leaving immediately after the announcement, as if they just remembered some sort of obligation that they had with some other kind of important thing and just vamoosed. Some slinked away silently without making any impact at all on the conversation, one example including the moron who thought that attacking the egg itself was a good idea... The villainous creature born from this egg had already hatched, what possessed this no name saiyan to think that it returned back to its egg. That's not how hatching works.... Oh, back to the train of thought at hand, where others had left after giving congratulations, the dreaded Vi-Poi and the well-dressed Maeve being examples of this category.
Even the weak no names were making their way out of here without a word aside from mumbles of various things. And little by little did everyone leave, the young Namekian having no input on anything people said or did as they left, until it was down to the final five people, which was him, Dion, the unconscious Strohpod, Brassica, and her simian friend thing. Before she left, the odd saiyan decided to impart some knowledge about the jungle and trying once against to suggest the jungle to the Namekians. But the more that she spoke of this jungle, the more the Namekian guru started to believe that visiting this jungle would be the worst thing he could do.
"I'll keep it in mind," Accordio spoke cordially, not wanting to dismiss her suggestion in a way that could possibly hurt her feelings, "And thank you for the good wishes. We need it seeing as how we are making a new colony on this planet from scratch.... But, it won't be too difficult I believe."
Motioning over to Dion, the Porungan Guardian bent over to pick up Strohpod, lifting the unconscious Mazoku over his shoulder. Hoisted up above, Dion looked over at the hovering child Namekian while saying, "I'll take our good friend to our room. We need to hear what happened to this radical Namekibro, and figure out what to do with him."
All the while, Accordio winced at the kind of diction he had used in describing all of this, really unhappy with how it's kind of speech was so weird and out of place for the kind of person he was. Despite all that, he followed Dion out of the palace, heading towards the small building which housed most of the current Namekians on this planet, the both of them planning to have some good R&R and plan out what they were going to do about the housing situation.
