He has a long monkey-like tail like most Saiyans. His hair sports two bangs off to the side on the right, and a single one hanging over his ear on the left, much like his son's hairstyle. His rich brown hair spikes off to the side and flattens over his head, and curls up somewhat at the bottom nape. He is 5'3" feet tall. Collard needs glasses to see, and uses a thin green Scouter to aid his sight, although it is somewhat buggy and can't sense power levels. Since he's a Hofferson, the saiyan can summon a Skull Blaster. His resembles some type of gazelle. Collard's ki is a deep blue color as well. The saiyan sometimes dons saiyan armor similar to that of his son, but he usually sports a very different choice of clothing than most saiyans. He wears a dark blue short-sleeved shirt under a black vest with a green bow-tie, and a pair of black pants and shoes to finish his look. Collard's hair and clothes are always tidy- he's a neat freak and puts time and effort into having a decant appearance.Collard, unlike his spouse, is centered around law, order, logic, sensibility, and enjoys things being concrete. This saiyan is very dependable, reliable, maternal and kind to his own kin. Keeping things running smoothly overall is part of his core. He's happy as long as everything is running normally. He might come off as isolated, cold, and somewhat bitter to new faces due to his silent nature and tenancy to keep to himself. Once someone proves themselves worthy of his trust and protection, the saiyan will treat them like a member of his dear family. Collard is very private and dedicated to his family. Lay a finger on the saiyan's relatives, and you're in for quite the beatdown from this strong saiyan fighter. Collard likes a sense of pattern and normalcy in his life, but also takes a liking to the odd and weird. Capper's part of the reason for this. The saiyan can be quite strict at times, namely because he just wants to protect his family from harm. With the "loss" of his son, the saiyan is much more prone to emotions, blaming himself, and being much more restrictive with others. He trained his ass of with Chire when they lost Capper to better protect the family they still had.
PERSONALITY
As the current brains of the Hofferson household, and much like his son, Collard possess calm judgement and some measure of humanity. His stoic nature allows him to hide his emotions and think in battle, and play a few mind games with his foes. Collard has grown tired of fighting- Vegeta is a place so full of violence and war... Th environment and his contrasting calm behavior just made battling ephemeral and boring after awhile. He can still let his emotions control him, but has learned to control his own saiyan pride instead of letting it control him. He never tries to get too overconfident, and sees things at many angles. However, he can be... a slow thinker. It takes time for him to think and plan, and the saiyan doesn't always have this capacity to think and plan in fast-paced battles.HISTORYThis soon-to-be-father was a rather proud fighter, like most Saiyans. Collard grew up possessing a rather calm bravado- he had seen plenty of shit on Vegeta as a child, and eventually grew bliss to others and his surroundings, allowing the saiyan to simply not care about others or himself, really, and be able to think in battle without loosing his temper. That all changed one fateful day when the stoic saiyan fighter was assigned into a squadron with other low class northern warriors. The squad's leader, Chire, was a violent and impulsive fighter. Her squadmates were like family, but she was always reluctant to accept a new member into her little tag team. At first, Chire and Collard didn't hit it off very well. Chire mostly ignored his "commander's" impulsive choices, going off and doing his own thing. Sick of Collard's shit, Chire challenged the saiyan male to a spar. While he was dismissing the idea of fighting, Chire decked Collard right in the face while he was speaking! Thoroughly enraged for once, the saiyan attacked with all his might. The saiyan male fought back against Chire, but the saiyan squad commander just wouldn't give him any breathing room in the battle! Eventually the two reached a stalemate, both too tired to even throw a punch at the other. Both warriors had some degree of respect to the other now that they had proved themselves in battle.Collard and Chire got along after their first scuffle- the female even shattered the saiyan male's bravado and managed to even fluster him with a few unexpected flirts, and after working together for a few years, a little romance developed between the violent female and calm male. To shorten this story, they married and ended up having an unexpected child a year after their marriage. Thus, Capper was born. Surprised at first due to their child's weakness and fear of fighting, Collard was the first to completely accept the fact that Capper just wasn't a fighter. Treating his fragile son with great care and keeping the ever so violent Chire in check, Collard retired from being a fighter and became a bartender to keep an eye on Capper and earn some money while Chire and her squadron went out on missions for the Empire. Collard was devastated when Capper seemingly perished during the Invasion. He still hasn't gotten over the loss of someone as close to him as his own son. But keeping Chire close and trying to keep spirits high, the saiyan wished that he just could have said more to Capper before he passed...
And then came the gracious day when their son returned home finally came! Yet, their reunion was cut very short when Capper, Chire, and Etoru left to gather the Namekian Dragonballs a few weeks after their son came home. Collard waited, and waited, and waited for their return... But nobody came. His family discerningly NOT answering his calls either. Thankfully, his own father, Courgi, had microchipped Capper after his return so they would not loose him again. After heading to Earth and reuniting with their battle scarred son, and learning the truth about his wife's death and the new war to come, Collard has once again picked up the mantle as a warrior, and the sole parental guardian of his son.TECHNIQUESCOLLARD CANNON TREE
(1) > [N1] Collard Cannon: Collard's hand is coated with a glow of royal blue ki. With a snap of his fingers, a three and a half foot long skull of a gazelle is summoned beside him, near his opponent, or can even be equipped onto the saiyan's hands. After being summoned, the blasters fire a straight beam of bright blue ki at the foe, then fade into nothingness. They posses no will of their own, and are directly controlled by Collard. He can summon a total of two at once, and can split the damage to different foes while compensating power. The offensive power will always be divided equally upon opponents if the attack is split. Deals 33% of Collard's offensive PL, and can be charged up to five times consecutively. Costs 1 KP.(2) >> [UP2] Collard Cannon Barrage: The upgraded form of the Collard Cannon. The saiyan's hand is coated in a glow of royal blue ki, and with a snap of his fingers, even more skulls form near him. About a dozen skulls fire their beams of ki at once. They can either appear directly near a foe to surround them and fire, or float around Collard blast like normal. He can still equip them onto his hands as well. The damage can be split while compensating power, and will be divided equally among opponents. Deals 66% of Collard's offensive PL, and can be charged up to five times consecutively. Costs 2 KP.SKULL SHIELD TREE(3) > [N1] Bone Barrier: Collard raises his arm as that same ol' coat of royal blue ki coats his hand, summoning several bones from the ground to fly up and block an attack. The bones block any attack up to 33% of Collard's PL, and this, unlike an Afterimage, can be charged up to five times. Bleedthrough damage is halved. Unlike an Afterimage, this can protect multiple people or places. Costs 1 KP.(4) >> [UP2] Spinal Siege: The upgraded form of the Bone Barrier. Collard raises his arm, coated in royal blue ki, and summons a longer barrier of bone resembling a spine. The Spinal Siege is more flexible than the bone Barrier, and can curl around opponents to protect them better. Charges up to five times at intervals of 66% of Collard's offensive power level. Bleedthrough damage is halved. Unlike an Afterimage, this can protect multiple people or places. Costs 2 KP.(5) >>> [MP3] Skull Shield: The upgraded form of the Bone Barrier and Spinal Siege. Collard summons one of his Hyper Collard Cannons, and uses the mighty blaster's tough skull to tank an attack for him. Unlike an Afterimage, this can protect multiple people or places. The skull blocks an attack up to 100% of Collard's offensive Power Level, and can be charged up to five times. All bleedthrough damage is halved, and costs 3 KP.(6) >> [V2] Spinal Screen: Collard's body is coated with thick lines of bone resembling the spines of a skeleton. While the protection is limited, this SUSTAINED barrier can block attacks up to 33% of Collard's PL, and will tank attacks for up to three turns, or until the screen is broken. When it is shattered, bleedthrough damage will be halved. Charges at 33% of Collard's PL up to five times. Costs 2 KP.(7) >>> [UV2] Skull Armor: Collard's body is coated with a more thorough armor. The most notable difference is that the armor resembles an actual skeleton instead of just lines of spines. Collard's face is also masked behind a helmet resembling one of his blasters. This SUSTAINED barrier can block attacks up to 66% of Collard's PL, and will tank attacks for up to three turns, or until the screen is broken. When it is shattered, bleedthrough damage will be halved. Charges at 66% of Collard's PL up to five times. Costs 3 KP.
AFTERIMAGE TREE(8) > [SU1] Rapid Movement: Collard uses his ki to enhance his speed, and dodges an attack up to 100% of his power level. This dodge only protects himself, and he can't rescue others or places by stepping out of the way of an attack- that's a job reserved for his barrier. He leaves a single, still afterimage of himself in his wake. Cannot be charged. Costs 1 KP.(9) >> [SU2] Afterimage: The upgraded form of the Rapid Movement. Collard uses his Ki to enhance his speed, and dodges an attack up to 200% of his Power Level. This dodge only protects himself, and he can't rescue others or places by stepping out of the way of an attack- that's a job reserved for his barrier.
