The sky was dark and the stars shone with utmost brilliance upon the Earth city. It was near midnight but the city still seemed to be awake even during those late hours.
Jatamasi reclined upon a wall in a dark alleyway, following an exhausting performance at a nearby plaza. He laid his head against the brick wall, which supported his back and looked up into the starlit sky. His eyes closed for a brief moment as he imagined being back at the circus with many of the friends and comrades that he had grown affection towards. This vision vanished as a couple of crooks made their way down the alleyway. Jatamasi's heart began to race but he knew that it'd be best to show no fear of these people. Sure enough, the crowd of crooks passed by Jatamasi without giving him a single glance. His back slouched once again upon the brick wall as he relaxed himself. Little did he know, something much more terrifying was making its way down the alleyway.
An olive-colored Majin with bizarre markings made its way down the gloomy alleyway. It's eyes met with Jatamasi's for what seemed like forever. Jatamasi quickly scrambled up from his spot and treaded quickly down the alleyway. He could hear the footsteps of the Majin behind him increase in pace which signaled that he was about to give chase. Suddenly, Jatamasi broke out into a full-on sprint and so did the Majin that was now pursuing him. To his amazement, Jatamasi's feet began to rise up from the ground as he felt lighter and lighter until he was nearly off the ground. Moments later, he was soaring at top speeds but so was the Majin.
The sight of the city from above was a breathtaking one, which inspired Jatamasi for the few split seconds he had the chance to look. He could've watched the city for days from those heights but for now he had other problems; one of which was the pursuing Majin. Jatamasi had no idea why the Majin was chasing him but he knew better than to stop and question. He had known Majins were notorious for their volatile attitudes and unpredictable actions but his curiosity began to surmount this. For a split second, he peered back at the Majin to get a better look at the general expression upon its face. An alarming surge of terror formed inside Jatamasi's heart. The expression upon the Majin's face was a terrifying one at that; one which showed great exhilaration and hostility. As Jatamasi turned his head forward once again, he met face to face with what seemed to be ... another Majin! He brought his forearm up to stop the incoming assailant but was swatted away with much ease by the Majin. Another fist collided with his back, which Jatamasi assumed was his original pursuer's. The two collisions caused him to plummet towards the ground at top speeds. Jatamasi feared it was over, for his body had taken a major toll from the two attacks made upon him. Although, something did not seem right; Jatamasi should've at least been able to move after the two attacks. He never thought of his body as being a frail one and the two attacks had seemed to be spontaneous meaning they shouldn't have done that much damage.
Nevertheless, Jatamasi was still plunging to the ground and he had lost most control of his body. Suddenly, something emerged deep down within Jatamasi which was unknown to him at the moment. This unknown feeling burned brightly, much like a scarlet flame as it laid dormant inside him, awaiting its time to appear.
Jatamasi's limp body collided with the ground beneath him and billows of dust arose around the collision area. Several Majins levitated towards where he landed and gazed down. It seemed that Jatamasi had actually been pursued by a gang of nearly 17 other Majin! They all floated by idly, wondering if they had killed the Konatsian accidentally.
To their surprise, something unorthodox surfaced from the billows of dust. The group's eyes no longer laid upon a circus actor ... but a Konatsian Warrior!
Jatamasi glared forth at the group; it looked as if he was surging with anger. His expression had drastically changed from one that was hospitable to one that was sinister. Suddenly, Jatamasi's ki flared and he rushed forth at the group. Nearly all of them flinched at the unforeseen rush. In a split second, a majority of the Majins were sent spiraling in numerous different directions. The last few could only gape in horror as they watched their brethren collide with the buildings around them.
"You're kind is only a hindrance upon this planet. If I had the choice ... I'd eliminate all of your kind without giving a second thought. It's nearly everyday now where I have to deal with you monsters jeopardizing the lives of innocent people!"
For some odd reason, Jatamasi was speaking nonsense towards the group of Majins. Never had he cared about the well-being of the city and it's inhabitants. Oddly enough, it seemed he had taken upon an ancient heroic form of being!
The Majins looked at each other then back at Jatamasi. Each of their power levels began to swell as their bodies grew. As they reached their maximum size, the Majins began to amalgamate into one, singular blob. In mere seconds, the Majins had fused into a behemoth of substantial proportions!
Jatamasi smirked sinisterly as he studied the enormous Majin that stood before him.
"You think all of you combined will make a difference? Don't make me laugh!"
Jatamasi outstretched his two arms in front of him and closed them together. A brilliant, yellow light formed in-between the crevice of his hands as a ring of ki was made.
"CIIIRRQQUUEEEE ..."
Jatamasi spread his hands out and a ball of ki formed in the center of the ring of ki.
"BEEEEEAAAAMMM!"
A beam of great magnitude shot at the enlarged Majin, ready to decimate it upon contact. The enormous Majin could only bring it's arms in terror as it awaited it inevitable demise! Sure enough, the beam tore through the Majin's defenses and ripped it's malleable body into numerous bits. Jatamasi knew better than to stay around and await to see if the Majin would reform. He swiftly bursted away, headed as far away as possible from the previous area. Before Jatamasi could make it away far enough, he collapsed down upon a nearby sidewalk. His ki vanished as it seemed he was out for the count!
As Jatamasi regained his consciousness, he peered through his eyes only to find something odd standing above him. It was ... a fellow Konatsian!
