Sharp, blinding pain, then nothing. Tulip’s eyes snapped open as she struggled to breathe. The woman winced as the air around her proved to be far brighter than anticipated. Wow, that hurt a lot more than expected. Wonder how long I was unconscious…
Tulip's thoughts were interrupted when she attempted to push herself up. Her arms refused to move, and a quick glance revealed her body had turned into something cloud-like. Glancing to either side made the situation crystal clear. Laughing softly, Tulip closed her eyes and muttered. “Well… Hope you're okay now, Tekuma.”
Letting her eyes open, the woman tried to survey her surroundings. The road stretched for miles, forcing the woman to realize the scope of the situation she was in. Wow. A lot of people died. Is that robot here?
A momentary glance made the woman realize just how many people had perished in the few minutes that had passed since their battle started. Wait… What if Blade is here?!
Her emerald eyes, the only striking feature left on the cloud-hybrid, glittered as the woman came up with a daring plan, regardless of where she ended up going.
She chatted with the people in the line around her, realizing the scope of people in this line stretched far further than Earth. There were people from other galaxies, even one old man from Woatera who recognized the old Woatera World Martial Arts Champion. The girl had blushed when he offered to marry her to his dutiful son, claiming the boy needed a strong woman to keep him in reign. She'd reminded him they were dead, and the old man just dismissed it with a wave and the statement: ‘Death is only the beginning’. His small smile and happy attitude made the woman wonder if the old man knew more than he let on, but she dismissed it with a smile and soft laugh.
After a long wait, the young woman found herself ‘standing’ in front of a huge, mahogany desk. A huge ogre sat behind it, leafing through a mountain of paperwork. She tried to straighten her stance and spoke firmly. “Did my father ever pass through this line, Sir Ogre?”
Her gaze didn't waver, as she stared at the ogre and waited for his reply.
