So after a recent WODS Game post, and realizing I STILL haven't beat BL 2 on True Vault Hunter, I've decided to make this! Where people can make Borderlands versions of their WODS Characters! The plot's listed here: borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Borderlands
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Class Name: (Tends to have to do with their skill sets, explained later on. The only exceptions are Sirens, though, only six can exist at one time. Can be a canon class, other than Fragtrap.)
Action Skill: (A special ability unique to your character. Typically, they involve technology, a pet, or in some cases, both! They last for a few seconds, tend to start off OP and GET MORE OP. They aren't magical, unless it's a Siren's action skill. In which case they can be just about anything. Examples include Phasewalk, in which the user gains a movement speed boost, and is untouchable and invisible, and Phaselock, which traps enemies in a sphere. If you're unsure if it would fit, just check the canon character's.)
Favorite Element: (One out of Four DoTs. Can be Fire, which deals more damage to enemies without shields, Shock, which does more damage to enemies WITH shields, Corrosive, which does more damage to Armored enemies, or Slag, which is a debuff. Cryo is also available, but is not actually usable on Pandora.)
Favorite Gun Type: (Pretty straightforward. There are Pistols, Shotguns, Sniper Rifles, SMGs, Assault Rifles, and Rocket Launchers...and Lasers, but they will break INSTANTLY on Pandora, and are thus unusable)
Favorite Manufacturer: (There are eight brands, total. There WERE more, but they got re-skinned, into these ones.
Maliwan: Only makes elemental weaponry. Deals more Elemental Damage over time, but actual bullets hurt less.
Dahl: Has a Burst Fire mode, and very little recoil. Low Accuracy.
Hyperion: Accuracy increases the longer you fire it, bec ome the highest, at it's peak, but starts with THE lowest.
Tediore: Can be thrown like a grenade when empty, but slightly lower Bullet Damage and accuracy.
Jakobs: HIGH Damage, but low fire rate, and high recoil.
Torgue: OH CRAP DID I FORGET THE SIXTH ELEMENT? IT'S EXPLOSIVE. ALL TORGUE WEAPONS HAVE THE EXPLOSIVE ELEMENT, AND TORGUE IS THE ONLY BRAND WITH IT. THEY'RE REALLY LOUD, AND AWESOME! THE BULLETS ARE SLOWER, AND DEAL SPLASH DAMAGE! ALONG WITH THAT, THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT SHIELDS OR ARMOR! THE ACCURACY AND RECOIL ARE CRAP THOUGH!
Vladof: High fire rate, but the second lowest accuracy.
Bandit: The biggest magazines, but generally low stats.)
Skill Trees: (Everyone has three, comprised of around 11 skills, though having one or two more skills on a tree isn't unheard of. Instead of describing each ability, just put down three names for their trees, and the types of skills found in each. For instance, does your character have a special support system by acting together with another one? Does your character REALLY like their favorite element? Do they want to have more Health? How about higher fire rate with their favorite weapons? Maybe they want to upgrade themselves with cool robot parts. The one thing you CAN list if you want is their Capstones. The final ability on each tree, that changes either something about how they use a specific weapon, upgrades their action skill, gives them a buff, or even changes Melee attacks.)
