The duo began their walk through Castle Mazoku. It was an incredibly large place, with halls that stretched for what seemed like miles, and rooms shooting off in every direction. They passed by a fair share of rooms. Some held Mazoku Caste loyalists training together, others held Dragon Mystics healing the wounded, and most curious of all was a single room, filled with ancient Namekians from all Castes. They were reading massive tomes, and writing texts of their own on smaller books. These loremasters were detailing the next saga in Namekian history. Only time would tell if the Era of Mazoku would be looked back upon fondly, or with disgust.
"I must admit I'm surprised to see you here, Sagi Shi. I'd have expected you to simply renounce the idea of working with me entirely after what happened. Good to know you don't hold grudges."
They passed by another few training rooms, before finding themselves in the War Room. It was a massive chamber, with torches lining each dark stone wall. A long stone table rested in the center of the room, with a map of the galaxy carved into it. On the part of the map that Namek rested on was a handful of green stones, while a smattering of red and purple stones coated most of the rest of the board.
"We're still a young empire, Sagi. It's going to be a very tough climb to the top."
Xylo moved towards the table, his eyes studying where each player on this map lay. The Saiyans held the most ground, but Earth was no slouch either. In the corner of the map was Earth's blue stone. They held only a single planet, same as Xylo, but they had much more power. He'd have to be very wary of them in the coming days. If they decided they wanted to get involved, then the Saiyans would have an even bigger advantage.
"I need you to do some spying for me. The Solar Empire were taken by surprise when I took back my home; I need to know what they're doing now. Are they gearing up for counter-assaults, or will they simply sit and wait? If you can infiltrate their ranks, find out what their next move is... Think you can handle that?"

Sagi Shi followed Xylo through the massive castle. The place seemed endless! Sagi Shi began to wonder if each room was unique and diverse and held different purpose, excluding the sleeping quarters of course, or if most of the rooms were simply the same or just extra space. Regardless, it was an impressive feat that they managed to build this entire kingdom so quickly. In fact, the entire empire was expanding just as fast! Maybe joining the ranks wasn't such a bad idea. Only time would tell.
The Oni would furrow his snow white eyebrows at Xylo's remark. The Ogre scoffed at his comment. "That isn't entirely true. We were just in a tournament Xylo. Of course, your temper...got the better of you. However, Mammon on the other hand crossed me. And it is because of that, he's going to die sooner or later, Mazoku Empire or not. But--you shouldn't fret. I'll see to it that it won't hinder the empire. The fool simply being in the empire is already going to be a hindrance. He's reckless..."
Sagi Shi stared at the Namekian's writing down whatever it was in those books from as he walked passed the room. For an empire that just started, Xylo really did have it all. He walked towards the table and listened to Xylo carefully. Staring at the map intently while paying attention to Xylo's orders, he began to contemplate any other strategy. "Infiltrating there ranks is no problem..." He spoke calmly. "It's just...there's simply no point to it, wouldn't you agree? Currently, their general is dead, and the Queen's simply out of commission doing who knows what. All we have to deal with right now is their commander, and we practically win. Strike the roots and the rest will fall."

OOC: I wasn't sure if this information was known to the public or not, besides Mayze being dead considering, well, you murdered a general of the solar saiyan empire and that's like honor from your people. The rest I tried keeping vague, but if it's metagamey I can edit.

"If you get strong enough to end his life, then so be it. The Mazoku were built on the right of might, after all. If he cannot defend himself against a wizard, then he was never a powerful Demon in the first place."
Xylo snatched one of the green stones with his index and middle finger, holding it tight as Sagi Shi spoke. There were a few places between Arcose and SSE space that were neutral spaces. If he could get a foothold somewhere closer to the action, it'd make his first assault on the Solar Empire all the more simpler. His hand hovered over the Raiti-Zacro Asteroid belt; a hive of scum and villainy which rested right next to Arcosian Space. Digging his claws into that pit would be useful for the future. He dropped the stone onto Raiti, and gave a quiet grunt.
"Their Commander had enough power to kill someone stronger than myself. During the Battle of Moori, I sensed my brother's Ki fighting some of the Solar Empire's finest. He was slain quite spectacularly... At least that's what my scouts reported. I can deal with her just fine if I prepare myself, but I'll be wholly occupied by her presence. I need to know what their battle plans are so the rest of my army isn't blind-sided."
His eyes turned up, back to Sagi Shi. "You yourself are aware of how useful a good strategy can be. With a little less anger on my part, you would have won that battle in Hell. If they can devise some way to trick or debilitate our forces, then we have a real chance of losing. That's why I need you to go. If you'd prefer to stay here, I've got many other jobs for you, but this one could make or break the war before it even begins."

The Ogre crossed his arms as Xylo made his counter point. So, this commander was indeed powerful. And so it seems she took out someone more powerful than the Mazoku Lord himself. "So that's what that was....I sensed the battle from miles away." He smirked. "In fact, I sensed your battle as well...the whole planet had a damned earthquake. But there was one key thing I noticed about your battle..." He narrowed his eyes at the Namekian. The oni exhaled, collecting his thoughts. "You, Xylo, had an ally. An ally that surpassed any warrior that was on the planet at the time. But he wasn't here from the start, no. In fact, he appeared out of no where, and then simply disappeared. I don't know who, or what it was, but if you have an ally like that on our side, I'm fairly certain the commander of the Solar Saiyan Empire wouldn't stand a chance against your might. As far as I know, they'd be leaderless without the commander."
Xylo continued to speak about their battle in hell and how strategy was key to winning a battle. Of course he knew that all too well. Many did, it was the obvious. It's just, some don't choose to follow it. It was clear he had to make a choice right about now, and so he decided to act on Xylo's offer. "Very well, I'll make an attempt on figuring out their plans. I'll set off to Vegeta soon. However, one thing still troubles me. A few things actually..." Sagi Shi put his finger to his chin and frowned. "First off, what shall I do if I am to be figured out? Set back to Namek or hide and simply try again...and how do you want me to relay the information I've gathered back to you? Telepathy isn't among my skill set, not yet at least."

"Ah yes... My ally. Ouroboros is his name. Quite the intimidating demon; if I were forced to go up against him..." Xylo paused, and shook his head. He'd rather not think about the idea of ever fighting Ouroboros in a serious bout.
Xylo turned back to the table again, glancing at Sagi as he agreed to take up the job. He smirked, but Sagi Shi's worries wiped it away. "If you get noticed I'd suggest you come back here. If you get captured though... You can teleport to the Afterlife again, yes? That'd probably be your best bet."
"As for information relay," Xylo started as he fished something from a pouch on his belt, "You can use this." He tossed a pair of deep red glasses onto the table. They were dusty, but the glass was in good condition otherwise. "It's a modified pair of glasses that work as a Scouter. You can relay messages to my ship, but I'd recommend you learn telepathy soon-- the harder it is for them to trace your origins, the better."

Sagi Shi grunted. He got a good bit of information from Xylo. He'd definitely need to remember this, figuring it'd useful at another time. Sagi Shi smirked, chuckling softly at Xylo's remark. "Yeah...I haven't thought about that..." The Ogre frowned though. "However...eh....it only works once a month to get here and back...so if I do happen to resort to that, being a LAST resort that is, don't expect to be hearing from me." The Ogre shrugged. "Perhaps relaying information from those you killed would be useful as well."
The large Namekian tossed Sagi Shi a pair of visors. He caught the device, turning it around his hand observing it. "I see....alright, this'll do for now. I suppose that's that then? Anything else I should know, or should I take my leave?"

"That's all for now. Just make sure you don't get yourself killed before you can teleport to the Afterlife, alright? I don't need you running around with a Halo; that'll just draw suspicion."
The Ogre made his exit, leaving Xylo with his map and his thoughts. There had to be some way to minimize risk in his next move... But how?
