HOME SWEET HOME
Today had been a long, long, long, loooooooong day for little Capper. Currently, the saiyan mechanic was locked away in his room, at hard work creating a new robot limb for his friend, Etoru. After the evnts on Namek the saiyan boy was still trying hard to move past, Capper quite literally crashed onto Earth, and ended up meeting some of the strongest fighters in the universe- Vi-Poi, Bing Gan, and Zucceta herself. A little nobody like Capper, meeting fighters who kept peace across the entire galaxy...! It was hard to believe. It was even harder to believe that in the end, despite all of his mistakes on Namek, Capper saved Etoru. And that was all that mattered to the engineer now. He couldn't help Mayze or his mother now... But he could still help his best friend.
After gathering some materials for some robot limbs for his now one-armed and one-legged friend, Capper travelled into the West Capitol to go stock up on more supplies-- yet he ended up bumping into his father, Collard, and grandfather, Courgi! After tearfully reuniting with his family yet again, the saiyan boy explained what went down on Namek. Collard... definitely shed quite a few tears when he learned of his wife's death, and Capper could have sworn he saw a few slide down the ever so stoic and emotionless Courgi's cheeks as well. But at heart, the father was still proud of the courage Capper had shown on Namek. He was willing to throw everything away to ensure a friend's safety. His weakness, his doubts, his own life-- Capper had grown past his previous mindset of "why fight if you can't win." And Collard couldn't be prouder of his son.
Having phoned the Hoffersons on Vegeta to get the fuck off the possibly doomed planet, the saiyan re-opened his bar in the eastern capitol of Earth. Purchasing land on this planet was a doozy, but the saiyan father managed to figure it out. They settled down across from a park in the East Capitol, just a ways from the fields Capper used to live in in the barn that now belonged to Collan. They lived across from a park, with their home set beside the father saiyan's bar- Thanks to some capsules, both buildings had tagged along from Vegeta. Staring up at the setting sun from outside their home on the porch, the widowed saiyan eyed some of the stars that slowly appeared in the sky. He could make out the bright star of Vegeta, even from here... He hoped the rest of his family got his message okay. If Capper was right about Xylo's goals- the whole "end of the age of the super saiyan" and the "fall of the Saiyan Solar Empire..." They would have a lot coming their way soon.
Trotting back into the bar, the saiyan father glanced around at the few customers that found their way in. Humans, saiyans, namekians, and even an Ankoku and a Heran found their way into the bar. Already, things were much more peaceful now that they were off of the violent Vegeta and on the rather peaceful Earth. Collard liked the peace and quiet, but... He missed Vegeta. He missed Chire. He should have come with Capper and his wife. He could have done something-- no. If he went with, he'd have died too. And Capper would be without both of his parents. Collard had to take care of his son- for the Hoffersons. For Chire. Maybe they would also find some of their lost family here? Endivia, Rako... Were they okay?
Sighing, Collard tilted his head to the side as another spark resounded from Capper's room. The door had several large and worn "DO NOT ENTER" stickers spread across... Capper had been at it for hours in there. He had to be tired by now, but like any Hofferson, he was stubborn. There was no use arguing with him- the saiyan mechanic would not rest until his new prosthetics for Etoru were complete! Standing behind the counter of the bar again, the saiyan father was considering closing up shop, but raised his head when the bell mounted above the door chimed, signalling the entrance of another potential customer...
