"NEXT!!!!" Said a large, bearded man wearing a messy apron. He slammed his hand on the bell, letting a loud ding! to travel through the room. The sun peeked through the bakeries windows. The shop was busy being in the center of West Capitol after all. People wanted to get all their baking goods, ranging from cake's to cookies, and even to just simple plain ordinary bread. Of course the loafs the bakery sold could vary in flavor, but that was besides the point.
People came in, and people left. It was a constant cycle on this busy afternoon. Some folks were seated, drinking their coffee and talking with their peers. Others doing whatever school work or business on their laptops. Whatever their reasons was however, didn't matter. As long as Moneybags was rolling in dough...he was fine.
The fat cat walked around the kitchen, staring at the employees making sure they were doing their jobs right. Not that he knew anything about baking. He just wanted to make sure they weren't slacking off. Of course Martin does have managers to keep track of that sort of thing, but you know what they say. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself! The cat wondered how the customers were doing and strolled off towards the counter. He stared at all the jolly costumers with a snarky grin. He was just simply waiting for the odd ball to come in next. Every store has those. He just hoped it wouldn't be an issue. ---
Majin Makaz had been flying through West Capitol. The Majin was frantic for food and already found this through the center of West Capitol, the majin landed down at the bakery. Getting in line, he hadn't seen much but sensed a power level even LOWER than others. Makaz barely cared about it, instead finally getting to sit down and stuff his face full of food.
OOC NOTES: Surprise! Collard and Corugi have come looking for their son! But how will they react when he eventually appears in this thread? What trouble has Capper gotten himself into now? Find out next post on World of Dragonball: Souls.
KEY "Collard's Normal Dialogue" 'Collard's Telepathy' 'Collard's Thoughts'
"Father! Capper's gone off the radar- he isn't picking up my calls! Something happened!"
"...Do you think I have him microchipped?"
And so, a very concerned father and a blunt grandfather set off to go find their son on a distant blue marble of a planet.
Courgi and Collard had landed on Earth a few hours ago. The grandfather of the weak little mechanic had discretely placed a microchip on Capper while he was asleep, just to make sure he would never wander off and get stranded on some planet and be dead to them for another year ever again. Collard had called Capper several times over the past few days, and every time it would go straight to his scouter's voicemail. He was concerned about his wife and child.
Normally he would just let it slide due to his tendency to procrastinate, but after Capper's miraculous return and a few... dangerous escapades with his son, the father saiyan was much more protective. Chire was a rambunctious and impulsive one with a "FIGHT ME" attitude. She got herself into even more trouble than Capper most of the time! After laying out a game plan with Collard, the two Hoffersons managed to track Capper down to the distant planet, Earth. But why was he on the planet their species was not welcomed on, again? Even the ever so stoic Courgi seemed to be concerned now.
After landing their pods in the streets and sending a few earthlings scattering in fear, the saiyans stored their vehicles away in capsules and set off on their mission to track down Capper. Strangely enough, while Courgi was tracking down the chipped saiyan with his systems, the boy flicked off the radar in this city. Wraught with even more worry, the two set off to find the lost Hofferson child. Collard suggested that they pick up soe earthling clothes to better fit in, to which the grandfather reluctantly obliged. Collard wore a baggy black, short-sleeved shirt the saying "NEVER TRUST AN ATOM- THEY MAKE UP EVERYTHING" on it. He still wore his scouter specs, but his look was finished off with some baggy faded green jeans and some red gym shoes. Courgi just wore a yellow hoodie with a white undershirt, and black pants and boots.
Still, some humans would yelp and back away from the two saiyans. Why? Well, maybe it was because of their quite frightening-looking skull beasts. Courgi's canine skull and Collard's gazelle skull blaster were deployed, floating around and sniffing out their surroundings for a whiff of Collard's missing son. The two Hoffersons had split up, with Collard surveying the main streets and Courgi monitoring the more dangerous alleyways. "Any luck yet?" Collard's voice would ring over Courgi's yellow Scouter, earning a grunt of denial from the old saiyan android. "Damn. He has to still be somewhere here..." Collard trailed off, sighing. He just felt like going to bed right now with his wife beside him. Chire had to still be with Capper as well, right? There was no way his wife would let their son out of sight.
A sudden growl snapped the concerned father from his thoughts. Looking down, the saiyan only now remembered that he hadn't eaten anything all day! His blaster let out a quick huff in response, turning it's form towards a nearby earthling bakery of some kind. Well... a little break wouldn't hurt, right? "Hey, how's about we take a quick snack break? We've been at this for hours now..." Collard suggested, earning a quick response from Courgi. "You do know I don't have to eat, right?" The android commented. Collard rolled his eyes, bringing a hand up to the side of his scouter specs. "Your loss. Cap gave Earth's food five stars, and we both know how picky he is."
Silence passed for a moment before a quick huff of affirmation was heard from Courgi. Smiling, the father of Capper sent his coordinates over to the grandfather android. Trotting into the shop, the saiyan would peek in with his own blue-eyed skull in tow. The door opened with the sound of a bell as the skull moved forwards, flying in as a few workers and customers eyed it in concern- it wasn't every day you met a floating laser gazelle skull. It let out a quick call, signalling for Collard to follow.
Trotting in, the first thing the saiyan noticed was the pleasant aroma of baked goods. The bakery was full of chatter and quite roomy- it reminded Collard of the bar he owned back on Vegeta. Glancing around while his nameless Skull Blaster floated to a display of muffins, the saiyan quickly noted the presance of a nearby majin. Offering the pink man a quick friendly wave, the saiyan father decided to push away his concerns about Capper for now to take a well-deserved break to adapt to the planet his son spent so much time on. Staring up at the menu with narrowed eyes, the saiyan observed the listings of food while the blue horned skull of his peered over the counter, eyeing a cat zoan of some kind. Tilting it's head with a few clicks, the strange skull would float over and out sniff the small zoan, unbeknownst to Collard out while the father was sitting down and looking at a menu, sometimes peering out the window while awaiting Courgi's arrival...

Martin smirked at all the customers coming in. His employees were working hard and fast, not to mention they were under payed. While that may seem like a greedy, cold hearted move, it does save him cash! However, the store started began to slow down. It was a while before another customer hopped into line, this one being a majin. The cat payed him no mind. After all, he was just another customer. The chatter of the bakery picked up as it began getting more busy again. The large man on the register tapped the bell, took the customer's money, and handed him his goods.
"Next...!" The cashier grunted. Next in line would be the Majin. The Cashier would look down at him with an intimidating gaze. "What would you like..." He growled. While that was going on, the 'odd ball' customer, or should I say customers, finally arrived. A strange, large skull...dog, thing...entered the building. It poked its head through the glass door before he floated inside. It was accompanied by what appeared to be two Saiyans. Moneybags growled. He wasn't the only one who still held a grudge about the invasion. He lost plenty of businesses during that time! Besides that, everyone was busy on rebuilding and he couldn't really make a profit out of any store besides his construction company! Those were some tough times.
Martin was about to turn tail, when something unexpected happened. The Skull dog floated over towards him...and then--sniffed him?! Moneybags grit his teeth tightly, bearing them while he glared at the creature. He raised his hand and attempted to slap it. "You damn mutt! Who does this boned freak belong too?! Huh?!" HE yelled throughout the bakery. The customers stared at Martin awkwardly, their chit chat quieting and transitioning into whispers as they gossiped and talked among themselves about the situation at hand. The Cat glared at Courgi and Collard at the back of the line. "You! Monkeys! Is it yours! Either leave, or tie that thing outside! You hear me?! So help me I'll call the cops! This is a bakery, not an animal shelter!" Martin then muttered under his breath, irritated with what was going on. "Damn Saiyans...."

Rako laid peacefully atop a small mountain in the middle of the wastelands, both his hands behind his head, fingers locked together as his elbows pointed in opposite directions. The grass at the top of the rocky pillar made resting much more comfortable for the former-SSE member, his back at ease along with his mind as the wind passed him by. This was absolutely perfect. The clear skies only made the setting better. No rain or snow to worry about. Just relax and chill and lay back for however long he wanted. Then his stomach growled.
The dark-skinned Saiyan winced at the feeling as he sat up almost immediately and covered his abdominal area with both arms as if hugging his stomach. This hunger was powerful. Had he underestimated the strength of the need for food? He needed to find food, and he needed to find it fast. So, drawing both legs anterior to his chest and moving back onto his shoulders, placing his hands next to his ears, he pushed himself up snapping his legs straight in the process as he quickly returned to his feet. He then launched towards the nearest city surrounded by his purple aura.
The wind howled in his ears as he sped through the sky like a purple comet, his belt flowing violently. He was in quite the hurry so the amount of wind that was resisting him by blowing in the opposite direction caused by his speed was expected. What wasn't expected however, was the two Saiyan pods that raced right past him, one pod grazing the tip of his nose. Who was that? Luckily they had landed in west capitol where Rako was already headed.
Two birds with one stone, huh?
Quickly he zoomed towards the city and landed softly in between the two empty craters which people were now checking out. Some even pulled out their cameras and began to take pictures. Surprisingly, absolutely no one thought that the Saiyans were invading again. In fact, they seemed...excited? This was weird. Humans were weird. But that wasn't his true concern. His concern was who emerged from that pod. And then he saw it.
A familiar figure.
Who could that be? Then it hit the Saiyan. No way. It couldn't be. Him? On Earth? Why? How? Was this...his father? Rako dashed full speed skidding to a stop just before the man. It was him... unbelievable. "Dad? Is that you?", the Saiyan asked, a hint of disbelief in his voice. "No way...you're on Earth!? Why?" He was startled once more as he sensed a familiar powerlevel inside the shop. What the hell was this some kind of family reunion? Rako stuck his face on the glass in the window to look inside the shop and saw him. Collard!
The tail-less Saiyan swung the door open ferociously as he made his way over to his brother opening his arms and then wrapping them around him. "Collard! You're here! What're you doing here man!? I missed ya bro!", he exclaimed, a giant smile on his face. He had never been so happy during his entire time on this little blue and green orb.
Majin Makaz watched as more and more denizens began to enter the area. He had sighed, getting up as he cracked his neck. He looked to see that weird banker going crazy, and a few others entering. His eyes began to grow hollow and completely black, like an evil majin would as he rose up. The Banker cat had began to annoy him VERY much, he'd rise up. Teleporting up as he had appeared in a growing crowd around the saiyans."Who the hell are all of you people? I'm TRYING to enjoy food here!" Makaz said, veins appearing on his head as he grew annoyed. His shaking twirk began..
Collard's Skull Blaster's eye would widen with shock when the cat flat-out slapped it! A 'thunk' echoed through the air when the weak zoan's hand collided with the hard, bony surface of the skull, pushing the floating head aside. Eyes widened, the gazelle skull would let out a whine before it bolted back, hiding behind it's summoner, Collard, with a pathetic whimper. The saiyan father looked back to his summoned demon, putting a hand on it's head before looking to Moneybags as he bellowed, asking who the "mutt" belonged to before locking his eyes onto the saiyan. Collard's hand remained on the nameless skull to comfort it while it whined, rather distraught with all the yelling going on. Soon enough, the cat caught eye of the saiyan that summoned the skull in the first place, and demanded that Collard tied it outside, earning another cry from the gazelle skull.
Sighing, Collared breathed in slowly while keeping his composure. The father would wave a hand dismissively at the shop owner while speaking. "Oh, hush. This is no mutt. Gazelle are prey animals, you know. Super finicky, yes, but they don't bite." Collard spoke while the blue-eyed skull nuzzled up against him, turning back and eyeing the cat fearfully. "I apologize for, uh, whatever it did. Just be glad you didn't get blasted." The saiyan spoke, a smirk creeping across his face. Some ki would flare inside the horned skull's mouth for a moment as if on cue, but it died down quite quickly. Collard's skulls were sentient, just not the smartest yet. Capper's cat blaster was perhaps the most intelligent one he had seen to date, and it had sentience right off the bat! Perhaps it took after the saiyan boy's own intellect?
Meanwhile, Courgi would land outside of the bakery, folding his arms while locking onto his own son's ki. He could hear the cat yelling, and his son speaking back in response. Turning around, the grandfather eyed his own skull. It was around five feet long fron it's back to it's snout, two pairs of spikes on each side- one around the jawline, and the other beside it's forehead. A final fifth spike flew back along the top of it's head. The canine skull had shark jaws and a long muzzle. It seemed to take the most after a bloodhound as it sniffed around, trying to pick up a whiff of Capper's scent. However, the skull's snout would raise into the air as it picked up a pecuilular scent... Sniffing the ground while Courgi began to make his way towards the bakery, the saiyan grandfather would suddenly stop in his tracks when he felt a familiar ki skid over.
"...Rako." Courgi spoke in his usual monotone voice, turning around and eyeing his youngest son with a frown. So this was where his kid was hiding? Rubbing the bridge of his nose, the father of Rako and Collard closed his eyes, mumbling to himself. "Of all the planets you had to choose..." Shaking his head, the boy's father would look down onto his son with a frown when he questioned why he was on Earth, of all places. Folding his arms, the man would point back to the bakery and speak once more. "...Ask your brother." Courgi spoke, narrowing his eyes and speaking one last time in a hiss. "...You're still weak, slacker. Have even you learned to summon a Skull Blaster yet?" Courgi spoke, snapping his fingers as another one of his canine skulls appeared beside him.
Yet, Rako dashed off at a surprising speed to go greet his brother, earning a sigh from his father. Turning to follow his son into the bakery, the android would halt when he felt a tug at his shoe, followed by a quick, deep bark. Turning around again, Courgi's eyes would widen as soon as he caught eye of the skull he sent to go after Capper...
Meanwhile, inside the bakery, Collard would open his mouth to give another comment to the cat, but he was quickly interrupted when someone dashed towards him! Arms wrapped around his form, Collard would briefly flinch, his hand glowing a blue color while ki began to crackle inside of his summoned skull. However, before he could make any impulsive moves, the man that suddenly hugged him spoke in a familiar voice? "Rako?" Collard questioned, a smile creeping across his face. The youngest of his brothers had disappeared awhile back, leaving him and the rest of his siblings very concerned. It was a miracle he was still alive! "Stars above, it really is you! What are you doing here, brother?" Collard spoke, his smile matching that of his brother.
Shaking his head, the boy's older brother would clear his throat while his skull floated up to Rako, looking quite happy as well. If it had a tongue, the brother of Collard would have been assaulted by a barrage of licks from his brother's pet skull right now. "Oh, as for why I'm here..." Collard spoke, taking a few steps back should Rako release him from his hug. Looking to the side, the father would bite his lip and furrow his brow before speaking. "You know my son Capper, right?" Collard spoke, his voice solemn and serious. "He and my wife headed to Namek awhile back. Something happened, and now they're both off the radar. We tracked Capper to somewhere in this city, and are looking for him." Collard concluded. But before he could say anything else to his brother, the sound of someone yelling snapped him back to reality.
Turning around, Collard would eye a rather angry looking majin. Tilting his head, the saiyan father would cross his arms and speak once more. "And I'm trying to do the same. So you do you. And I'll do me. And we won't do eachother." The saiyan spoke, adjusting his glasses and staring at Makaz dead in the eye. Yet, his attention drifted once more when the sound of someone slamming open the bakery door resounded...
Courgi loomed in the doorway, narrowing his eyes at his two sons. "Collard. Come see this." The android father of the two saiyans commanded, causing his eldest son to scurry over with his skull in tow wordlessly. Courgi's cyan-eyed canine skull floated over, holding something which caused the father of Capper's eyes to widen with a gasp. It was Capper's prosthetic leg! "We found this in an alleyway nearby. Capper can't walk without this, and he was nowhere to be seen. So..." Courgi trailed off, putting a hand to his chin. "...Oh no." Collard spoke, lowering his head before raising it, eyes filled with determination and a tad bit of anger.
"Well, we need to find him! No more dawdling!!" Courgi's son commanded, earning a smile from his father. Collard could be quite blunt and lazy, sure, but he put effort in where it counted. Turning back to Moneybags, the saiyan father would speak in a demanding tone. "Just give us a dozen pastries, to go." Collard demanded, reaching into his pocket before trotting over, setting a wad of cash onto the counter. "And keep the change."
Something had to have happened to his son-- again. Capper couldn't keep his nose out of trouble, but every time he did, his family would always be there to back him up.

Moneybags growled as Collard began to speak to him. He had some nerve...! "Do you honestly think I care if it bites or not...you're scarin' away my customers!" The fat cat pointed his finger at him with a glare. "Either ya take that thing out, or get out! Tie it to a lamppost or somethin I don't care!" Martin grumbled and muttered a rant under his breath as he looked into the kitchen making sure his employees were doing their job. He couldn't have slackers, especially at a time like this. These damn 'warrior type' folks were bothersome and did nothing but cause trouble. It was irritating to say the least. And the fact that they were Saiyans didn't help at all either! Loud, obnoxious, outgoing. It was horrible for his business, and if they kept up...well whatever they were doing, it was only a matter of time before the rich feline would kick them out!
The rich, fat cat would then turn his attention to the majin that entered earlier. He seemed to be throwing a fit..! The cat glared at the Majin before slowly reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a large cigar and a lighter. He shoved the cigar in his mouth and yanked the gear on the lighter with his thumb a few times.
The lighter would have a flame on it leaving Moneybags to slowly move his head towards it. He stopped once the cigar was in range, eventually lighting it up. He took it out, puffing a bunch of smoke in the Majin's face. "You have some damned nerve talking to ME like that. This is MY restaurant, so if you want to eat, better show some respect, bubblegum..." Martin plopped the cigar back between his lips and continued to smoke. It wasn't until yet another Saiyan arrived! The cat sighed loudly, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
They seemed to be having their own little family reunion! By now, most of the customers have already took their leave. The cat glared at the trio angrily. However, he seemed to over hear them losing something---no, someone. The cat leaned in on the counter, narrowing his eyes at the group. "Eh...this family reunion's really cute. Yeah, I'm pretty sure the customers find it warm and welcoming as well--oh wait, right they're all gone..." He growled. He exhaled some smoke before continuing pulling through his cigar. "You all owe me for that...now, you're going to be owing me another favor. It appears you've all lost someone...." The cat locked his fingers together and flashed a snarky grin. "I have businesses and employees all over the globe...! I'm sure I can rally up a few boys to search the city. Of course you'd be owing me another favor..."
Makaz's eyes widened as an aura began to build around him, he had gotten up. In all of his life--NO, all of his existance..NOBODY has ever talked to him like that. His complete rage at this had then grown as he began to shake uncontrollably at any time he could blow a fuse and actually destroy something..but the last time he did he..sorta got in trouble with the Blue Banner Army, Makaz got up as his eyes quickly began to twitch..veins began to grow as he quickly burped and swiped his hands into his pockets, he took out some dollars here and there as he quickly threw it at Martin P.Moneybags face. He had then began to quickly lower himself down infront of Martin's face. "You know it's really hilarious, NOBODY. NOT EVEN PRESTO, has ever talked to me like that..I actually like your sass. This time around.." He took the Cigar out of Martin's mouth as he crushed it in his hands, walking away as he quickly left and opened the door, slamming the door completely as the door broke. You could hear some twitches and shakes outside, Makaz sat outside on a bench as his eyes focused in complete rage. His eyes widened COMPLETELY.
Collard rolled his eyes as the interaction between Moneybags and Makaz unfolded. His skul let out another whimper with all the yelling unfolding, it's floating jaw quivering while it nuzzled up into the saiyan father's chest. "It's alright, girl. It'll pass soon." Collard spoke to the skull while it let out one last whine, eyeing Makaz as he angrily stormed out of the bakery with a sigh. The majin seemed to be quite irritable... Collard turned to the bakers, who hastily handed the saiyan his ordered goods.
"We really should get going." Courgi spoke, tossing Capper's prosthetic leg up and down impatiently as he tapped his metal leg on the ground. "Capper could be in real trouble right now. We don't want a repeat of what happened the last time he got fucking kidnapped." The android saiyan spoke with a hiss, gritting his teeth and remembering the time on Vegeta when he and Capper were taken away. Sure, they did have a happy ending, but the people on Earth weren't always so kind to saiyans, like this Moneybags fellow and many others Capper spoke of. There were kind souls, sure, but Courgi had his own doubts about this dirty blue marble.
And then the cat had the nerve to speak again. Courgi narrowed his eyes in hostility at first, but would seem to calm down with mild confusion when he offered... to help them? "...Why?" The grandfather asked with a hint of disbelief and surprise. Collard was quite shocked to hear that someone who was just yelling at them was offering to help, in exchange for a favor in return of some kind. Shaking his head, the father of Capper would stand up, speaking to Moneybags in response. "Alright. We accept. I'll do anything you want, if you help us." Collard spoke, closing his eyes with a sigh. Was this a good idea? He wasn't sure, but they had to find Capper before something happened to him. Reaching into his vest's pocket, the saiyan would fumble around for a moment before pulling out a black wallet. Flipping it open, Collard would attempt to hand it to the cat.
Inside was a small picture of three Saiyans. One of them was petite with unkempt, darker brown hair, and a small spherical robot in his hands. A meek smile was spread across the tiny saiyan's face while a much taller female was leaning down with her arms on the little one's shoulders. Collard was seen smiling in the background of the image as well. Everyone looked quite happy in the photo. Collard spoke to the cat once more, should he look at the photo. "This is my son, Capper, and my wife, Chire. They went missing after heading to Namek-- We've tracked Capper to this city before he went off the radar." Collard spoke in a somber and longing tune, glancing off to the side. He could only worry and imagine what the boy was going through now... Nothing good, for sure.
Meanwhile, Courgi would walk back outside, raising a hand coated in a light blue color before quickly sapping his fingers. With a brilliant flash of light, a dozen canine skulls appeared in the air, blinking a few times and glancing around with some slightly confused whines after being summoned. Some passing civilians jumped back, hastily passing the frightening floating skulls as they floated towards the saiyan that summoned them. Holding out Capper's prosthetic for a moment, Courgi would let the keen noses of the skulls sniff it, before speaking to the demons with a single order- "Go."
And with a few barks, the skulls flew off into the air with the scent of the lost saiyan boy being tracked. Meanwhile, Collard would stand back up, speaking to the cat one more time before heading outside with his bag of pastries for the trip. "You are coming too. We need all hands on deck. If my son is involved, there is no doubt that he got himself into some serious trouble again. Just because you're weak, it doesn't mean you're not useful." The saiyan father spoke, heading outside before eyeing the departing skulls of Courgi and the pouting Majin Makaz... Sighing with a roll of his eyes, the father reached into his bag and pulled out a couple of the pastries he bought, holding them near the Majin. Majins liked sweets, right?
"Here. Sorry about what happened in there, I'm sure I could have handled it better." The saiyan spoke with a meek tone while scratching the back of his head with a smile, hoping the majin would accept his apology gift. The gazelle skull behind Collard peeked out at Makaz from behind the father's legs, letting out another whine while it glanced back, seeing what that noisy cat was doing now...

Rako's smile simply got even brighter as his brother returned the same feeling of satisfactory that Rako had towards him after all this time. He was finally reunited with his family. The last time he had seen them was prior to the Invasion that their Queen, Zucceta, had planned. Their goal was obvious: Invade Planet Earth. However, during this Invasion, Rako finally grew weary of his Saiyan lifestyle and decided that he would kill no more. So, he left the SSE without notice leaving his family to wonder where he had gone and what had happened to him, though the answer was quite obvious if you put two and two together.
But, that was the past and that's exactly where it'd stay. As for the present, it turned out that his nephew, Capper, had gone missing. His older brother had asked him whether or not he had known the boy. Rako's answer of course was quite simple. "Yeah, of course! Why wouldn't I? We may be only three years apart in age, but he is still my nephew after all.", the tail-less Saiyan said before leaning in towards Collard's ear, placing a hand in front of his mouth indicating that he was telling a crucial secret, though this was just him being silly as-per-usual. "You know, don't you think you should, like, train him or something? Last time I saw him, his power level was like, what, twenty?"
The Saiyan backed up, however, and placed his hands behind his head, locking his fingers before giving a little chuckle. "Though, I shouldn't be talking about training! I mean, look at me! I'm not even in my prime anymore!", he said with a laugh of shamelessness, a giant smile on his face the whole time. Rako may have been smiling but he sure wasn't happy. He was quite disappointed in himself. However, he was going to become great once again, stronger than ever before. Little did his father know, he was beginning to train on his own time. He'd shut him up again, just like he did when he beat him at the age of sixteen. Boy, was that the best day of his life or what? But this was the least of his worries at the moment.
Apparently, his nephew and sister-in-law had both gone missing on Planet Namek. Planet Namek...he hadn't heard that name in a while. He'd never been but an old SSE friend of his had. He said it was quite beautiful. The leaves and blades of grass were oddly a shade of blue while the water was green yet clear and quite smooth. It sounded a bit mismatched, yes, but beautiful, nonetheless, to the chocolate-colored Saiyan. Just then, as Rako was briefly remembering about where and when he had heard of Planet Namek, a rude, interrupting voice had reached his eardrums. It's source: a...piece of overgrown bubblegum? What was this thing? Whatever it was, it was indeed rude. I mean, Rako could be rude himself, sometimes rushing people to recover in a fight so they could continue their battle, eating like a slob and so on but this was just a pure, unadulterated lack of mannerism.
The Saiyan turned to the Majin, much like his brother and spoke to him, smiling again, as always. "And I'm trying to figure out something about a family member who could be in crucial danger. I think we both know what's more important here bud!", he said, sarcastically. Hearing that his nephew had gone missing right after getting shit from his dad and then remembering how weak he'd become hadn't exactly put him in the best of moods but he still remained a bit cheery. Then the cat spoke. Rako turned to him, as words flew out the little guy's muzzle, and placed a hand gently on his head before he began to pet him. "D'awwww. Aren't you just adorable! You're so short and stubby plus, you're a cat! Quite the delightful combination, little man!"
The sound of the door opening echoed across the room just then as his father entered claiming that there was something that Collard needed to see. "Should I come and take a look too?", the Saiyan asked. Yet, when he thought about it, there was really no reason in him going to see either way. He probably wouldn't know what it was that his father was trying to show to his brother anyway so he just stayed in place as Collard rushed over to their father in quite the hurry. It was most likely a clue as to where Capper was according to the speed at which his elder brother had made his way to the door. At this point, Rako just leaned on the counter, watching Collard interact with Courgi. His father was holding some kind of...robotic leg? How strange. Did that belong to...Capper? When did he lose a leg? Questions on that one later.
Before long, the adorable cat spoke once again. Rako turned to him as he smoked and talked about how they all owed him. This alone left the Saiyan puzzled. Raising a curious right eyebrow, the Saiyan looked at the Zoanthrope and asked, "We owe you now? Wait, what did we do?" Pausing to actually figure this out, he looked around the shop, rotating his head to get a survey of the room before replying with a simple "Oh." before his question could be answered. It seemed that the four had caused the cat's shop to lose business. Not exactly their intention but, it happened anyway. Even so, it was only fair that they had to face some kind of consequence so, the cat actually wasn't wrong by saying that they owed him.
In fact, it was kind of good that they owed him in a sense because with owing the owner of the shop came the opportunity of help. Logically, Collard accepted the opportunity even though his father seemed to have a problem with it. Giggling a bit, he followed up Collard's acceptance with a remark to his father. "Gee old man, I'd figure a know-it-all like yourself would know why Collard would accept such an offer by now.", he said cockily with a huge smirk smeared widely across his face. Meanwhile, Collard had shown the cat a picture of his family for the cat to know where to start. Rako, of course, planned to join the search himself. So, stretching as he cracked his neck and then his knuckles he walked over to his brother.
Calmly placing a hand on his shoulder, he turned to him and spoke. "Don't worry! I'll be helping you find him for sure!" He then walked past his brother a bit before rising a few inches off of the ground. "So, where should we check first? I was thinking the wastelands because it's probably the most Vegeta-like terrain on this planet. Then again...", the Saiyan said as he rubbed his chin. "Your boy looks like the type to be on a farm or something. I could look at one of those places too if you'd like." This Uncle was ready and willing to find his nephew for sure.
