By the beard upon Alaistair's chin, Al's attack was not enough to completely eliminate the saiyan! However, it mattered not about that. The orb expunged a black gas that covered the sky, and to Alaistair's surprise, the red star of the Demonic realm: the Makyo Star! The devil's sense of rage soothed in its light, as he looked at the man that came out... No it wasn't a man! A Devil, like Alaistair, was standing before them! It was one that Alaistair had once heard of in legends from his former teacher, before he was a Devil.
Alaistair couldn't revel in this for long, for his opponent, in a berserker rage, charged at Alaistair! Brutal and wild slashes and jabs were sent, trying to pierce the Devil. Small cuts were given, as Alaistair struggled to dodge. He rolled to Mayze's side and bring forth his blade once more. However, the devil felt no need to continue engaging for what came next. Energy mightier than Alaistair's built up and shot in Mayze's direction!
The young super saiyan had shrunk his presence, the moment that this great Devil took his strength to his current greatest and fired upon the saiyan, and soon after smacking said boy in the face! Alaistair was only amazed by this! Rocks, however, suddenly approached the Great Devil! Alaistair sped in front, ignoring his opponent to defend the Great Devil, and cut the flying debris to dust, before rushing at the source. Another child, but this one felt vastly weaker than the other!
Alaistair's snake-like eyes pierced the young one's own. He leaned in, whispering sinisterly, "How interesting... So weak, yet you display great telekinesis, even though you are a saiyan. What are you doing here, young man?"
The general’s grin widened with every strike he landed against Alastair. A feeling of satisfaction welled up within him as he forced the demon on the run. This was the might of a Super Saiyan! The strongest warriors in the universe, and he’d make sure Alastair wouldn’t forget it.
As Mayze brutally swung down, the demon rolled to the side, avoiding the blade of energy. The Super Saiyan was about to pursue him when his scouter started to beep, stopping him. He sighed, who was it this time?
He turned around, spotting a young looking man with pale skin, white hair, and yellow eyes after the fog cleared. His power level was… Mayze’s annoyance morphed into an intense feeling of dread and his heart started to hammer against his chest. The being’s power level kept rising. Eight million… ten million… thirteen million… His scouter exploded against his face, falling against the ground in dozens of little pieces. It had been built to detect high power levels, but… nothing like this.
“Fifteen million…” he croaked, mouth dry. He dryly swallowed, previous anger replaced by an intense feeling of fear. What could he hope to achieve against a being like that? He stood no chance, him a Super Saiyan, hopelessly outmatched by this thing.
And then the prince turned toward Mayze, finger aimed for his heart, and fired. The general didn’t need to a scouter to tell him that that attack would kill him. And he couldn’t do anything about it, just stand there and watch like a stupid idiot. He was too drained to raise a barrier. He was powerless, too weak to do anything, and he was going to die. Him, an invincible Super Saiyan, the strongest of the strong, the elite, was going to die on Namek, squashed like a pathetic bug.
Or so he thought. A yellow orb smashed into the beam of ki, sending it off course and through a nearby mountain. Mayze followed the path of the orb to it’s origin, giving Etoru an uncertain look before the saiyan boy was struck in the face and sent flying Ouroboros. Mayze hadn’t even seen the demon move, he just popped up beside boy, almost like he had teleported.
Why had Etoru used wasted his energy in saving him? He was useless right now, he couldn’t do anything but stand, and now that boy was probably going to die because he tried to play hero, “Stupid, stupid, stupid,” he muttered under his breath, gazing down at his feet with a shaking, clenched fist, his breathing uneven.
A soft noise alerted him and he turned to the source, spotting another young saiyan throwing a piece of rubble at the prince with valiant effort… only for it to be cut down by Alastair.
He frowned, “Idiot,” the teenager might as well have just signed his death certificate by trying to play hero.
What could he do? He was about to be killed, and he couldn’t do a damn thing about it. He wasn’t strong enough, he was just a pathetic, arrogant weakling who thought he was hot stuff because his hair could turn blonde.
A resounding crash echoed through the city as Etoru was smacked in the head. The young boy's body was sent spiraling downwards, bouncing off and through a few hills, before landing somewhere inside. The Demon Prince could sense little Kili coming from the boy now, perhaps none at all. Ouroboros cracked his knuckles, sighing. He knew for a fact he didn't put enough power into that strike to kill the lad. He needed to warm up first, after all.
He turned his attention to Xylo for a moment, shouting at the Mazoku Lord from above. "Your little issue is good at hiding himself, it seems. You don't mind if I try to smoke him out, do you?"
Xylo focused on the hillside. He couldn't sense Etoru very well now. He was hiding his Ki quite efficiently. The Mazoku nodded to Ouroboros, and the Devil began to charge an orb of Ki in his palm. Just before firing, however, his senses alerted him to a new presence just a few feet away. He turned, watching the Demon known as Alaistair cut down a barrage of rocks. Ouroboros smiled at his fellow Demon, and was about to turn back to obliterating Etoru, when his attention was caught on someone he thought he killed!
Mayze sat there on the ground, his hopes dashed. Ouroboros always loved that look. It was the type of despair only those who were completely full of themselves could ever begin to feel. He considered putting the General out of his misery, but decided against it. Killing the failures at the end was much more enjoyable.
"Now then. Back to business..."
Orbs of energy brightened in Ouroboros' hands, and soon after, he fired the barrage down at Etoru's last location, destroying a very good chunk of the landscape along with it. If Etoru didn't get on the move, he'd be feeling the sting of the Demon Prince again.
With Ouroboros occupying Etoru, Xylo was left with little to do. Mayze was busy having an existential crisis, and the rest of their opponents had already been slain. He turned to Alaistair, who seemed to be interrogating a young boy. The tail, the hair and the armor betrayed his race and allegiance. A Solar Empire Saiyan, most likely a technician or pilot due to his lack of strength. Though he was far away, his Namekian ears were able to pick up what Alaistair was saying. Apparently the boy had mastery over telekinesis.
It soon became apparent who exactly had thrown that bean earlier. With it simply falling from the sky, and Etoru saying it was "for him", the only being here who could have thrown it was this boy. Xylo moved forwards, barking an order at Alaistair as he approached.
"Alaistair! Finish off Mayze! The boy is mine."
Regardless of Alaistair's willingness to back off, Xylo would approach Capper, and grab him by the neck of his Saiyan armor. He lifted him up to eye level, and snarled at him.
"It's thanks to you that I'm so healthy, isn't it? You have my gratitude, whelp."
His grip tightened for a moment, but instead of trying to kill the boy, he dropped him to the ground. The Namekian noticed Capper's shoulder-pad. It was crudely stuck on, clearly part of someone else's gear. It took him a moment to remember, but he was fairly certain it was worn by the female Super Saiyan, Chire. He attempted to rip it from Capper's armor, tossing it lightly into the sky, before catching it.
"Was she a friend of yours? Mother, Sister... Lover?"
He gripped the pad tightly, before swinging it at Capper's face, intent on knocking the boy's lights out. Should the boy be knocked unconscious, he'd drop the shoulder pad to the ground, turning away from the technician and focusing on the battles still raging.
"You have my thanks, little one. Without you, I wouldn't have been able to destroy the Saiyan Empire."
Xylo hovered into the air, his body engulfed in his Ki Aura. His power began to rise immensely, as electricity danced along his body.
[KP: 3/3] Xylo uses [SU3] Ki Charge! 100% Charged this turn, will become 200% Charge next turn!
Ouroboros' KP: 3/3 Fired a barrage of Ki attacks at Etoru.
Etoru hugged his knees tightly, quivering in fright. His eyes widened when he heard Capper's voice. "C-C...Capper!" He squeaked. The technician began to ramble on about how he was sick and tired of being useless in this fight. How Xylo murdered his mother. But more importantly, how they were both going to get out of here alive. "B-B-But...C...C-Capper I-I'm Scared...." Etoru whimpered as he waited for Capper to make a game plan. And not too long after, he did come up with one.
Etoru gulped. "A..A...A-Alright...okay...I-I'll do that...b-b-b-but...w-what about Mayze...we aren't gonna...y-you know...leave him right..." The cringed and decided he shouldn't dwell on that thought. He was wasting precious time just worrying, and so he made his move. The boy began to run, before an explosive blast of ki crashed down right in front of him. Etoru squeaked and fell on his rear. "W-What the...!" The boy looked over head to see a rainstorm of ki blasts swarming down towards him. Etoru rolled backwards, avoiding one, and then jumped and hovered in the air for another. He ducked and weaved, moving about trying to find some sort of cover! The child soared behind a rock, covering his head as explosions crashed down before him. He breathed heavily. W-Was this why Maeve didn't want him out on a real battlefield?!
Smoke lingered in the area. Etoru closed his eyes, trying to sense any type of ki from his allies. Fortunately, Mayze was still there...however...no, it couldn't be...Capper was--no. His power was still there, although faint. He was out cold. Etoru stared at the blueish grass at his feet before clenching his fists tightly. Was he just...going to let them face this alone while he stood back and hid...no! He couldn't! He had to at least...try...! The fate of not only his allies, but the entire planet rested on his shoulders. Etoru put a fist to his mouth, his cheeks puffing up as if he were going to hurl. He didn't really think of it like that back when he was talking to Capper...maybe because Ouroboro wasn't there...nevermind that! If he was going to act...he needed to act now...! But what could he do---wait...as far as they were concerned...his energy was being suppressed. Etoru gasped. That was it! In that moment, he formed a clone to act as his decoy, and quickly ran around the hill top. The smoke and rubble would hopefully keep him hidden.
The clone slowly floated through the smoke and into the skies. His silhouette began to take color once he was clear of all that dust. Lightning cackled around his figure as he glared at Ouroboro. Etoru's clone looked down to his left too see Mayze...giving up all hope, wallowing in defeat. And in the distance, Capper's form was there, but Etoru was too busy to make out if he was alright or not. Xylo appeared to be charging up some sort of attack and gave Alaistair an order to finish off Mayze. It seems all hope was lost...but throughout his life of a 'true' fighter, he learned something valuable.
"Mayze...! What are you doing...! Get up! I...I-It isn't over yet...it just isn't! You survived a duo attack...one of those attacks, just one of two, was an attack that Capper's mother couldn't survive! You took on a blast from that jerk demon over there, AND YOU'RE STILL STANDING! But just because...because you seen this guy...! You're gonna give up?! I may not know a lot of things...but if there's one thing I know, thing's are only hopeless once you lose hope! SO DON'T EVER LOSE THAT HOPE!"
The clone soared at Ouroboro's with his fist clenched. But once he seemed really close, a slow grin appeared...and then he vanished. But right behind him was the real Etoru! The child attempted to throw a heavy hit to the demon prince's gut. He'd follow it up with a bunch of rapid blows, throwing all the energy into it he could muster. Hopefully stunned from the surprised blow, the boy would entire a Serpent stance, and it may have just been him in the heat of the moment, but the stance seemed flawless. Etoru spun around and threw a round house kick to Ouroboro's face, hopefully sending him into Namek's waters. Etoru would be staring at the water, panting heavily. ---
A shrill yelp flew involuntarily from Capper's mouth when he whipped around to see an armored demon standing in front of him! Oh gods no-- he was discovered!! Glancing around for a new route of escape, the saiyan boy hastily backed away from Alaistair, backing up and shivering against a tree. Newfound fear flew through the weak saiyan's eyes. That confidence he once sported fled the scene already. Tail between his legs, Capper could only tremble and swallow hard when the armored leader of the Devil's Knights spoke to him, regarding the tiny telekinetic saiyan as "interesting", and questioning what he was doing here. "Oh, y-you know... Stuff." Capper spoke with a meek, helpless smile. He was completely and utterly dead-- hell, why hadn't this guy killed off the weakling technician already?
And in the blink of an eye, the very Mazoku that killed his own mother flew towards the tiny engineer, causing Capper to swallow hard once more, his trembling only increasing. Barking an order at the armored man, apparently named Alaistair, to go finish off his general, Capper would freeze in place, tail hairs standing on end when the namekian approached, picking up the little teenager by the neck of his armor. Despair and hopelessness filled Capper's eyes as the man... thanked him? Confusion spread across Capper's face for a moment, and one might as well put a little "loading" bar above his head as he began to process what Xylo meant.
Did the Senzu Bean he threw just moments ago... The bean he intended for Etoru...
Tears welled up in the corners of Capper's eyes once more. Why was he such a stupid burden to everyone! It was his fault Xylo won-- it was his fault Etoru and Mayze were in danger... But at the same time, that little fire inside Capper began to blaze even stronger. The tears in the corners of his eyes didn't cease trickling down his cheeks, but the little boy would narrow his eyes while Xylo held him, letting out a flat-out growl. No-- it was THIS clod's fault his mother was dead! This CLOD killed Chire, HE brought that stupid, stupid Orouboros' egg along... But they all played right into his trap. Mad at both himself and Xylo, Capper would let out a quick grunt when he hit the ground, but continued to glare daggers at the green man.
But before Capper could react, Xylo's arm corkscrewed down to his shoulder, ripping his mother's shoulder guard right off! "H-HEY! You'd BETTER give that back, you filthy, dimwitted anarchist!" Capper barked, despite knowing he had no way or retrieving his mother's precious armor piece. Flecks of orange ki flew from his shaking form as the saiyan narrowed his eyes again, tears still streaming. Sniffling once, his eyes would widen when the man asked who Chire was to him, a mother, sister, or... L-lover?! "EW!!! She was my MOM, you slug-brained wretch! A-and YOU just HAD to kill her!!" The saiyan barked once more, his tone shaking now. "You... You..."
Closing his eyes, Capper's form would tremble for a moment before he fell to his knees. "M-mom... I'm sorry..." He spoke to himself more than anyone. Opening his eyes one last tine, the saiyan could let out one last shrill and high yelp when the green man finally knocked his lights out by throwing his mother's shoulder pad at his face! A loud "CRACK" rippled through the air as the saiyan took a few steps back, covering his wounded face. Falling back and to the ground, Capper's now cracked Scouter Visor would cloud his vision and hearing, but he could make out Xylo's last few words to him before fading into unconsciousness.
It was his fault. It was his fault.
* K-K-K-KO'D * THREAD EXIT FOR NOW (unless someone else pokes at Capper)
Alaistair huffed a laugh out, as he grinned and replied, "Heh... You've got jokes, youngster! Quite amusing!"
Xylo called out to him, attracting the Devil's attention. He spoke, giving Alaistair orders as if he were Alaistair's superior. The Namekian walked up to the young man, building up his energy as he thanked him for healing him, to which the boy seemed to disparage. Meanwhile, the Devil looked over at Mayze, who seemed to be attentive to what they were doing over by him. However, the scouter upon his head seemed to have exploded!
"Xylo," Alaistair spoke to Xylo, through his mind, "Let this young one live... And we are equals working towards the same goal. Do not let that power go through your head! It's happened many times before, and I am even victim of this, on more than one occasion! Now if you'll excuse me... There's a saiyan that needs to be sent to the afterlife!"
The devil dragged his sword on the ground with one hand, as he held the other out and looked at Mayze, a pleased look upon him! This state was good... Good for him to take advantage of. The Devil called out mockingly, "Dear me, has the mutt lost his willpower? Had it not occurred to you what was happening? Foolish mortal! You know not what is coming!"
Alaistair sped forward, getting right to Mayze's side with his sword hand turned and ready to cleave into Mayze. He continued, his voice ominous, "Our friend there isn't our only trick... Not that you'll survive to see it come to happen!"
With the statement, a mighty swing of Alaistair's sword was sent at Mayze, quite capable of sending him flying should the Super Saiyan block it!
He watched with slight disinterest as Capper was brutally dealt with by Xylo. Apparently the namekian was feeling remorseful, so the teen would live for another day, but not without his fair share of mental scars. An event like this would be traumatizing for anyone, let alone a kid. He supposed he could’ve done something to stop it, but he really just didn’t care what happened at this point.
His gaze snapped to Etoru, when the boy called his name. The Super Saiyan listened to his little, idealistic ‘pick me up’. Yea, maybe he survived those attacks, and sure he was still standing, but there was no hope. Not when facing someone who could kill you with a flick of his finger.
Mayze snorted, “Hope?” he humorlessly chuckled, “Please, you’re just a kid. What do you know about such a fickle thing as hope?” he sighed, “Should’ve just left when you had the chance kid, cause now you’re gonna die. Wonder what your mommy and daddy will think…?” he trailed off.
His head snapped to his right where he heard the sound of rushing wind. Eyes widening, he hopped to his left, but that didn’t stop him from receiving a deep gash across his right flank, his flesh cut like butter from Alastair’s sharp blade. He staggered back a bit, grunting in pain as blood freely flowed down the side of his chest. He instinctively placed his hand over the wound, and with clenched teeth, seared the wound closed with his ki.
He fell to his knees from the pain, and wondered why he continued to prolong his inevitable death. Probably that drive to survive that all living things seemed to posses. He knew he stood no chance. Hell, he might as well just roll over and die, it’d be quicker that way. But...
But… he still had some pride left in his crushed ego.
He looked up at Alastair with a small smirk, “This duel is entirely pointless,” he struggled to a standing position, clutching his right side, “Even if I kill you, I’m still gonna die. That's a fact,” a blade of ki formed over his right forearm, “But I’m not just gonna sit here and let you kill me. What kind of saiyan would I be if I let you do that?” KP: 2/3
As Xylo dropped the shoulder-pad to the floor, he could hear Alaistair's voice ringing through his mind. It seemed the Devil was worried his alliance was becoming an uneven partnership. Part of Xylo wanted to smack Alaistair across the face for finding it necessary to bring it up in the first place, but the part of him that respected Alaistair simply nodded. "Don't worry, Devil. My mind is still in the right place."
The Mazoku turned his attention to Ouroboros. The Devil had just finished throwing a massive barrage of attacks, but it seemed he was still searching for Etoru. Prince Beelzebub had bestowed them with quite the able fighter. He could decimate entire legions of warriors, even if they all had Etoru's strength. Xylo's power continued to rise, ready to attack at a moment's notice.
"Hmm... I don't think I killed him. Not enough power packed into that one, I don't think."
Ouroboros scratched his head, his eyes scanning the ruined hillside as he placed a hand on his hip. "Then again, he is just a kid. Children are always easy to break. Maybe he's down in one of those craters, bawling his eyes out with a broken spine."
Soon enough, Ouroboros' curiosity would be sated. Etoru revealed himself. The boy was wounded, but most certainly not dead. The Super Saiyan looked serious. Perhaps he was trying to intimidate the Devil. Ouroboros watched the boy curiously as he hovered down towards Mayze, trying to get the Saiyan General to stand. It seemed to be a wasted effort, however, as Mayze was intent on giving up.
Ouroboros clapped his hands, letting out a short but loud laugh. "Wow! That's the first time I've seen a pep-talk from an ally fail. You must have loved yourself quite a bit if you're this broken already, Goldie-locks."
Suddenly, Etoru shot into the sky, his determined expression replaced by pure anger! Ouroboros readied a counter-strike, but as the two fighters clashed, Etoru vanished! The Devil was dumbfounded; it'd been ages since he came across the Afterimage technique, especially one so well-practiced! The Super Saiyan shouted angrily as he appeared from behind, landing some quick strikes on the super-powered being!
With one final kick, Etoru sent Ouroboros flying. He groaned in pain, spiraling through the air towards the waters below! With a burst of Kiai, Ouroboros stopped his forced flight early. He hovered horizontally above the water, a few locks of his long hair touching the surface of the Namekian sea. The Devil slowly floated upright, blood dripping from the edge of his lip. He wiped the crimson fluid away with his thumb, and smirked.
"Very smart. I didn't expect you to have a brain alongside all that brawn. I guess I shouldn't have judged your book by the cover."
Ouroboros cracked his knuckles, and bent down. "I think it's time to rip out some of your pages." With a burst of speed, he shot through the air towards Etoru, aiming his elbow for the boys gut. Should it hit, he'd follow it up with a quick one-two punch to the jaw, before finishing off with a gut punch that would probably cause some internal damage.
Xylo KP: 3/3 [SU3] Ki Charge still charging! 200% Charged this turn, will become 300% next turn.
Etoru's tactic worked! His fists crashed into his gut rapidly! The kick was flawless...! The only issue was...this guy caught his bearings before the attack was complete. He stopped right in front of the water, leaving Etoru to let out a growl. "Man this guy is good..." The devil floated back up to the sky wiping some blood off of his lip.
Etoru had a faint smirk. Although Mayze didn't really get hyped up by his speech, his will too fight never left him. Maybe if Etoru was fast enough, he could grab Mayze and Capper and get out of here. Then Etoru noticed the devil finding it amusing that he misjudged him. Etoru grinned. "Heh...that's wear you're wrong...I'm no book...I'm..." Etoru paused a bit. The child then found out a good word to compare himself too. "I'm a novel...yeah, a novel. And you aren't ripping any pages out, you know why? Because I'm one of those old novels with the really heavy covers! So you can't lift it! And the pages are like pure plastic! So ha! Have fun with THAT!"
And in an instant, the demon prince appeared right in front of Etoru. The child gasped and quickly got in a Serpent stance. A quick elbow crashed into his gut, leaving him to cough. The boy quickly, yet weakly got his bearings. His swift and precise hands blocked the two strikes coming for his chin. Etoru panted and wasn't fast enough to dodge yet another punch to the gut! This time, it was harder than the last, not to mention he was punched their already. Etoru felt like it was slow motion as he was launched back. Blood spurted from his mouth and he skidded against the blue grass of Namek.
Etoru crashed into what felt like flesh, but he was too much in pain to really bother to look. He held his stomach curling up. "Egh..." He coughed a few times, angrily glaring at Ouroboro. The hybrid rubbed his gut before sitting up. He looked behind him and noticed a strange...odd man with a mask who was unconscious. Etoru blinked blankly. He looked like he was from Earth...wait...if he was from Earth and came all this way then he must have...! Etoru quickly searched his pockets and gasped. He found a senzu bean...! This could for sure help him later. He stuffed the bean in his pocket should he be uninterrupted. "....Thanks." Etoru whispered.
Etoru inhaled calmly and stood up. He floated in the sky above Ouroboro, yet directly in Xylo's path but below the Namekian. Etoru glared at Ouroboro. The child smirked and fired an energy wave at the demon before swiftly turning around to face Xylo. He put his fingers on his temples and snapped his eyes shut. "Solar flare!" A blinding light would emit from the boy's body in efforts to cause Xylo to drop all that power he was holding.
Whether or not Etoru succeeded, he'd float down slowly and anxiously. "Uh! T-Time out!" The boy ran towards Mayze and attempted to grab his wrist. The child yanked him around a hill top before he came to a stop. Etoru smiled cheerfully. Probably his Saiyan genes and the love for battle? "Okay! I have a game plan~" The child squatted and continued to talk. "So, it maaaay be a little dangerous, but it's all I've got. I got this ultimate ultra super cool secret technique that Xylo, the weird demon king your fighting, and Ouroboro will ALL have trouble dealing with hehe...the only issue is..." Etoru coughed awkwardly. "You kind of have to cover me until I gather enough energy to actually use it or else it'd just...be useless against these guys. That and uh, I don't really have much energy at all right now, ehe....sorry...b-but I promise! If I get the chance it could work! So what do you say partner!" ---
[SU] Solar flare used on Xylo in efforts to stop his charge.
Attempted to take a Senzu Bean from Big Train's body. Got his permission~ (ty)
Alaistair nodded, sticking his bottom lip out in agreeance with the saiyan's comments. Frankly, the Devil wouldn't have it any other way! As he prepared himself, his blade in both hands and lowered to the ground, the Devil felt Walker's far off presence become aggressive to those in the area. Even a message was relayed back, causing the Devil to form such a wide grin upon his face!
"Well then... This is quite interesting," Alaistair laughed, acknowledging what was happening, "It seems we've not much time to play, mutt!"
The devil sped forward, getting in range of Mayze and seeming as though he were going to strike from the right side, his elbows even suggesting a rising cut! However, the young saiyan had suddenly shown up and was attempting to drag Mayze away. Alaistair jabbed the blade forward, cursing aloud, "No! That mutt dies!"
The strike would miss though. Alaistair shot several blasts after them, not able to get a tag on them as they fled up a nearby hill. Alaistair looked back to the others, telling them, "They cannot be permitted to escape! Let's give chase!"
(Alaistair's talking has thwarted his own attempt to combat and eventually slay Mayze!)
(KP: 3/3 from 2/3)
I will return... And when I do, Life will prosper in the universe... UNDER MY IRON FIST!
Mayze raised his guard as Alastair charged at him, but he was sharply tugged away. He let out a surprised gasp as his feet drug through the ground and deactivated his ki-blade, “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” he growled venomously.
The kid roughly dropped him, and Mayze couldn’t stop himself from glaring at the kid as he rambled on about some stupid plan. He actually thought they could still get out of this mess alive. Hmm, the Super Saiyan knew better.
Mayze attempted to roughly grab the kid by his oddly familiar gi, and whether or not he actually managed to do so, he would glare into his eyes and growl, “Look boy, we can’t win, it’s hopeless! It just isn’t possible, so get that stupid naive optimism outta your fucking head,” his gaze slightly softened, “Look, you can run away if you want, hell I wouldn’t blame you if you did. But I’m staying here till my dying breath.” at this point, if he had managed to grab hold of Etoru, he would drop him, “I don’t care what you do. Just stay out of my way.”
He started to turn around to face Alastair, before stopping halfway and glancing back at Etoru with a frown, “I don’t know the slightest thing about parenting, but I can’t imagine it would be pleasant to find the corpse of your child on a faraway planet.”
He fully turned, walking over the hill crest and glaring down at his enemies. His lips curled back into a snarl and his golden aura snapped into place around him as he charged at the hopefully still disorientated Xylo, slamming his fist forward and suddenly activating his ki-blade as he tried to run the Mazokou through. KP: 3/3
The exchange of blows between the two warriors was quick, but in the end, Ouroboros' fierce combination was too much for the young Etoru to withstand. The Super Saiyan was sent careening through the air, colliding with a muscular man who'd been unconscious here the entire time. The Devil watched, dumbfounded, as the boy began rifling through Big Train's pockets. "Uhh... Are you robbing a corpse?"
The Devil hovered in the air, his hand on his hip as he waited for the boy to finish up. Etoru shouted for a time-out as he searched, causing Ouroboros to chuckle. "Take your time, little man."
Xylo peered quizzically at the Half-Breeds rummaging. By the time Xylo had figured out what the boy was looking for, it was too late. He tried to fire his energy wave at Etoru, but before he could push his power out, the boy blasted him with a ray of pure sunlight! The glaring sun rays sizzled his eyes, causing him to lose focus. He growled; a mixture of pain and pure rage.
"AGHHHHHHHHHH! YOU LITTLE BRAT!"
As Xylo struggled to regain his bearings, Mayze found an opportunity to swoop in for a punishing strike. With his blade of Ki thrumming to life, he attempted to run through Xylo, only to be stooped by Ouroboros' bare hand. He gripped the Saiyan General's razor-sharp Ki blade, and with a simple heave, he tossed Mayze away.
"I guess that's Time In."
The Devil stared at his hand. Mayze had drawn blood with that blade. That was the second time today he'd bled. These fighters were quite impressive. In another age, he'd have shouted at them for daring to draw blood from the Prince of the Demon Realm, but that was not the type of man he was today. He enjoyed when his foes could stand a chance. It made it all the more satisfying to end them.
Ouroboros turned to his master, who was still recovering from the pain in his eyes. He attempted to place his hand on Xylo's shoulder, but he batted Ouroboros' hand away.
"That damn runt... How dare he! I'll end him!"
Xylo raised his hand, and a familiar black orb formed in his palm. "Ouroboros... Gather your energy. Fire everything you have at Etoru!"
The Infernal Downpour began to draw energy from Mayze and Etoru, growing in size and strength. "Mayze was right, boy. You could have run away! I would have let you live! You could have warned your friends of the impending destruction that was to befall them, but now the only thing you'll do is waste more of my energy!"
The Mazoku Lord raised into the air as his Ki continued to build. He needed more victims for the full power of this technique to be unleashed. His eyes fell on that foolish half-corpse Etoru stole from. It was still giving off Ki. He could still kill that one. The pitch-black ball grew larger as it sapped Ki from Big Train.
Yet it still needed more.
Xylo turns his eyes towards Alaistair. He briefly considers turning his blast on his friend, but decides against it; he wasn't that desperate. Not yet.
"ALAISTAIR! FIRE EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT AT THE RAT! WE'RE ENDING THIS RIGHT NOW!"
His blast was incomplete, but with Ouroboros' help, it would be enough. The Devil brought his right hand out in front of him, a cerulean orb of Ki forming. He nodded to Xylo; he was ready when his master was.
With a combined shout, Ouroboros and Xylo fired their attacks. The Devil's wave of Ki barreled straight towards Etoru, whilst Xylo's shot into the air first. It split apart into three separate tendrils of death, screaming down towards their intended targets like they'd done some time ago.
The first, again, was for Mayze. It would try to pierce him like it had failed to do before, intent on ending him like the nuisance he was. The next would corkscrew down at Etoru, who was now being attacked from two fronts. The last beam spiraled down towards Big Train, looking to cut through his heart as payment for the extra life he'd given to Etoru just moments ago.
[KP: -1/3] Used [ULTIMATE] Infernal Downpour! 3 Targets, causing the attack to have a charge % of: 264% Split into 3 attacks each with a damage potential of: 3,528,298!
Etoru pouted when Mayze hated Etoru's optimism. "But it's a powerful technique idiot...like you have any..." Etoru grumbled. "Why would I run away. I'm not going to leave you here. We're partners!" Etoru stood upright smirking. His smirk faded away when he spoke the cold truth. Maeve and Bing would really be down if he did die here...wouldn't they. Maybe he should just run. No, Mayze wasn't all that bad. Etoru could see that clearly. I mean, sure it could just be his own selfish pride, but the way Etoru saw it, he was offering him to run away while he stayed and fought, essentially...buying time. He was defending a planet from these invaders, even if it was his duty too. Anyone else would have ran. This guy was a hero in disguise.
Etoru floated over the hill too see Xylo still trying to find his vision. Ouroboro was attempting to help him but...Xylo bursted into a fit of rage! Etoru stared uneasily. The Namekian began barking orders...and...it was too finish off the young super Saiyan. "W..W-Wait...f-finish me..." Etoru swallowed down a dry lump in his throat. "Off..." The boy began quivering in fear. H-He couldn't die! No way! There was just too much for him to do...!
Xylo began to wear a purple aura. His eyes had a tint of red...the atmosphere was full of malice. Ouroboro's power began to rise as well. Etoru's eyes started to water. He was shaking in his boots. "B-But...I-I..." He sniffed, recoiling and taking a step back. He grit his teeth glaring angrily. Denial and rage was getting the better of him. But...he couldn't utter any words...! The last of his energy was drawn from him. There was no way he'd be able to defend against the next attack...no way!
The two fired the attacks. Xylo's blast split, although it was weaker than the attack he did before. Maybe there was just less people...so he couldn't steal from as many of us. Although, he wasn't sure how Mayze was going to handle it. And that strange man that Etoru landed near was surely done for. And now, so was he. Etoru turned and ran as fast as his little legs could carry him. He dashed around the hill tops before the blast caught up. The child swiftly turned around and threw his arm in an 'x' position. Etoru cried out in pain. His voice echoing through the entire area. "AGHHH! I-It...hu..rts...." Etoru tried to hold off the blast...but it kept pushing closer.
"I-I'm...I'm really going to die here....a-aren't I..." Etoru's golden hair flashed back to black, and it looked like he was at the brink of losing. However, energy shot up through his veins out of no where! An orange aura raged around his form as the blast crashed into him. A loud explosion erupted, smoke filling the scene. While he was fine now....he didn't really stop the attack...it still did a number on him. But then...Xylo's blast swerved around unexpectedly! It crashed into the boy through the smoke causing yet another explosion in the area. The hill's collapsed, rubble tumbling down everywhere. Luckily for Etoru, the rocks tumbled to the side of him, nearly hitting the boy.
He lied there...staring weakly at Nameks skies. Blood trickled down his face and lip. His gi was torn to shreds. And for some reason, he had trouble feeling his arm and leg...maybe the pain was just that intense? The young hybrid's eyes teared up. He didn't know if he was dead or alive...nor did he even care at this point. He failed...Mayze was going to die, and everyone on Namek was going to be under Xylo's rule. What about Capper...will he suffer the same fate as all the other warriors who stood up to Xylo?
Etoru grit his teeth, glaring at the sky. "I..I thought I was stronger...." He thought. "I lost to Zucceta...but learned since...I wanted to save everyone...and now everyone's...dead..." Etoru wanted to keep fighting...but he couldn't move even if he wanted to. Etoru seemed quite pale. He was losing a lot of blood. The attack caused him to lose his arm and leg. Because of the shock...the poor kid didn't even realize it yet. --- Senzu Bean flavored as Wolf Spirit healing used against Ouroboro's attack. Took in some damage due to the immense power of the blast.
Xylo's beam crashed into Etoru by surprise.
Etoru's on the brink of death, lost both leg and arm...
Xylo was really quick to catch on, and Ouroboros seemed to had been cutting to it as well! Alaistair looked at the enemies before them and, without any hesitation, begun to power up immensely. He needed to watch for them... Wait for the right time to strike and build his strength up! Meanwhile, the Devil relayed to the two, verbally, "Our fight doesn't end here, my friends! It seems our tree friend's in need of assistance as well, and we cannot afford dally here! I can sense that wretched Majin girl there, and someone else there."
Alaistair could sense the Majin and another presence just as strong as her near Walker. The Devil also believed that the Android was there as well, and they would need to end this quickly to give him assistance! Not just one but 2 powerful allies were available to them now, and many dead bodies awaited them. He was caught off guard by Xylo's sudden appearance and treasure of an ally, and may have swayed Walker to join them too, which was why they couldn't afford to leave any threats behind them. Even despite the great blow dealt by Ouroborus and Xylo, he wanted to be sure Mayze and the young saiyan boy wouldn't come back..!

Cado left the other group in a hurry after feeling the sudden drop in energy from his friend. He stopped midair as soon as he felt the sudden increase and spike of energy from walker back behind him. Cado suddenly got extremely worried. Something was going on and this planet was getting immensely more dangerous by the minute.
Cado flying in the direction of big train would cross over where his ship was parked. He looked down and dropped to his ship. He ran up on board and went to his medical box, grabbing a senzu bean from the box he had been saving. Thinking to himself he might need this, but he hoped not.
On his way off the ship he stopped by the computer system on the cockpit of his luxurious ship. He typed up a message on the screen to send back to his head quarters. [ Victoria, namek is in trouble. Something powerful is here. Ive felt a sudden drop in big trains energy and im going to attempt to retrieve him. Im unsure of his fate at the moment, but if I don’t make it out of this with him, alert who ever you can, and send help] cado hit enter and the message was sent.
Cado left the ship and suppressed his energy dropping it as low as he could to try to stay completely hidden. He didn’t want to bring any attention to himself while he tried to get in as close as he could to the battle as he could. Once he was within view of the area he could see one ship. As he got closer he could no longer sense any energy of big train.
Cado dropped and moved as close to the ground as he could. He ran along the ground up to the back of the ship and started to look around for his friends. Just eyeing and searching across the area , while hiding along the sides of the ship . He could see other figures out there in the field. Three that don’t seem to be very hurt, if any at all.
One looked wore out and tired.. a saiyan cado could tell, but strangeness of it was his hair was yellow. He had never seen it before. Cado could also read a very weak power level off to the side of the field someone there was hurt , and hurt badly.
Cado wasn’t there for them though. Cado had to find his friend, and try not to spike any of their attention to draw them towards himself.
