The Demon Realm, a place where demons rule. Created from those with dark souls, these poor spirits are trapped in eternal suffering. With nothing to eat, and nothing to crave. Their only goal is to gain the strength they require. The great Demon King Solvera has risen to new heights. After his journey and conquest of Kami's look out. Where he now resides sitting upon the old throne within Kami's lookout. Using his control of the Demons Realm he sent out a message to all his fellow demons. "COME! Rise my Brethren! Today we no longer must reside in the realm of Demons! Instead we will slowly ascend to the sky's above. No longer will the guardians of good look down on us! For I have found a room... And a water that is equal to my own fruit. Come to me, and undertake the greatest moment of your lives! Come taste of divine water, and see the strength it has given me!" After a pause the Demon King would let a chuckle escape. There was one room he had been unable to open. "The first to open the locked door upon the tower in which I stand, will gain untold strengths and riches from myself! Now hurry before another demon takes your place at my side!" The howls from Demons and netherworlders alike, could be heard across the different dimensions.

Sounds like fun! I'll get the first post updated here, I finally got my plumbing fixed! As Bao said I think it should be up to the demons to RP out how they find out about the lookout, but I think Emer's post was cool. If we use Emer's idea I think he should be inside the lower levels of the lookout in order to not spoil what has already occurred with us landing on the top. Emer's idea could even justify why the old Kami died! President Bao are we able to have a saga broken up into multiple threads? IE Ninjin tells Toma and I to beat feet and we end up fleeing, Oni sends his "minions" after us. If Oni gets past Ninjin then he could come and wipe us out, but he might even want to come and enslave Milac to force him to create dragon balls if he knew about them somehow. Also I was saving Opal for until Milac becomes the kami, but I could probably justify breaking her out from the lamp if this were to happen. Opal was also going to serve as Milac's teacher, and she would be the one who knows about the HBTC & Holy water. I don't think the HBTC should be opened until after this saga, but Holy Water is probably something the staff will need to OK before we start "drinkin the kool-aid".

Emer's idea gave me a little creativity burst.
Since it seems NPC's are sort of frowned upon as Saga Villains, we could say that the former Kami was able to seal him within the tower with his dying breath using the Evil Containment Wave technique. Over time the death of the Kami has weakened this seal and he can now speak from within his sealed container to call upon other demons to do his bidding and release him from the containment. The former Kami's caretaker, Opal moved his container within the deepest confines of the lookout. (If the bad guys win I think it would make since for Oni to betray Solvera and keep him sealed up and take the power for himself, that way we don't have a NPC villain the staff has to keep track of.)
I think we should keep HBTC and Holy Water off the table for now, we can make this a really high stakes game for which side is going to get control of the lookout and it's resources. Perhaps if Oni wins he could even use the essence of Solvera to corrupt the holy water! If you don't vaporize Milac, I would be willing to RP him out as submitting to the evil faction (if we lose) and creating dragon balls (if the staff will allow it, as I would not technically be the Kami in this case), he would make the dragon balls for the enemy if they lost because it would give the good guys a chance to come back and save the lookout later.
While the world stood distracted from the disasters of the grand tournament, a great evil came to earth. Born of the souls with those of the darkest hearts, this being spent an eternity in agony and become twisted reflection of its former self. Now one of the greatest living demons known as King Solvera, his lust for domination led him to a place of great mystical power. Desiring to usurp the guardian of earth, Solvera attacked the lookout and took the Kami by surprise. With his dying breath, the Kami was able to seal the demon within the confines of the look out. The power of this seal has diminished as its creator continued to decay, and the demon began to call out to his kin to promise them unimaginable power. The caretaker, a genie named Opal, sensed several heroes who have landed at the highest point of the lookout and sprang into action to warn them of an impending doom.
This blurb isn't as well written as Emer's (and if he wanted to do an epic rewrite i'd give him... a hug), but it might work better if the staff doesn't want to run an NPC like Solvera.
I'm still going to wait to go hot until we pick a story to go with for the launch.

Personally I am not a fan of npcs being the driving factor behind a plot line(like ones made up on the spot). I didn't particularly feel too fond of Oni's Halloween plot thing with that fairy villain or whatever it was for a similar reason(no offense intended my good man ) - cause it was another npc out of nowhere inciting plot instead of being a *player-drive* storyline. Something like this means this spontaneously created 'King Solvera', a character which doesn't exist, is the focus and instigator of said saga instead of an actual player. I can see the intent is for him to just be in the background and as an excuse to justify this knowledge, but it's still an inelegant solution I feel, that perhaps robs actual player characters - not just Oni - of possible development/engagement. Also mil is right that ownership(or destruction) of the lookout itself is an objective I personally would see as (less meta-gamey and) more valuable from an IC stand-point I'm biting my tongue to avoid brining up any of the story concepts that have come to my mind since reading this super cool suggestion, but suffice to say there are many options available which could relate to the player characters and their goals and ambitions and statuses, rather than an npc's(and possibly tie back in with nods to canon, which are always fun).

Ei I could make something happen I suppose, Instead of the Demon King, I could have Emer tracking Milac and such, with the advanced Ki as he planned before, and Ninjin can attempt to stop the man, which brings Oni into the conflict as that longing to finish their previous battle, and he follows Ninjin's Ki signature as she's fighting Emer or what not.

Goodies: 134,040 Baddies: 102,370
Basically, the Goodies would probably win, although the interference of Emer could change everything. By about this time, after the baddies are driven off, I recommend we see if we can get a Makyo Star Event going on too, the stats are in the Baddies Favor.
Goodies (with Emer): 240,256 Makyo Baddies: 270,320
This'll be a good set-up, I think. Assuming we can get Makyo, anyway.

Hmm, actually as soon as Emer's final few topics get graded here, He'll be at 70,000 pl at least. Meaning he'll have access to his second transformation during this fight. If you add me to the goodies side then. And the Makyo stay comes out, Emer might not hesitate to reveal the Doppelganger transformation which would most likely put him at 420,000 Pl himself. (But he probably won't need to do that, cause if Graviga is approved as his master tier technique 106,000x3= 318,000 pl attack once fully charged XD.)

Emer, third tier attacks are called "Maximum Power" techniques. Not Master techniques. There are differences between them, but otherwise you should be able to handle two or three demons plus whatever else the evil team throws at you if you were to join with the other good guys.
[MP3] - Maximum Power
We really should just call "Master" techniques "Special" techniques as that's what Zucceta originally placed the group of them under.

Welp I am going to set a thread up tonight, and if the demons find a IC way to enter I will DE it and we'll see what happens from there.

I am probably just going to write a solo post to become Kami, everyone is begging for kool-aid before Emer's saga

now admittedly saga's aren't meant to be pre-planned, but just putting it out there: kami event first -> Emer turns evil as directly following saga. Right now he still seem pretty buddy-buddy. My immediate thought when I saw Emer announce his intentions (Which I say is cool) was how it might fit in with this, for example; kami ceremony - demons attack - lots of conflict and stuff as they vie for control over the lookout - regardless of outcome black water mist vase is broken and the last few drops it had left infect Emer, awakening his inner evil (or hey, maybe it's even something to do with his 'mimicer' physiology and having fought a powerful demon) - queue incoming Emer saga while he RPs his descent into madness/evil in the lead up. ----- We are a player driven RP which means people should be taking charge, and don't go feeling like you need to announce OOCly before ICly, you are more than welcome to do like Tsumuri long ago and say 'you know what, I'm just gonna go destroy north city, anyone wanting to try and stop me knows where to look, and if you don't... then it's toast'. I mean, still make the thread in the general area so people know you're making a saga, but you don't need to be shy/or seek the community's permission first. and yes, that even goes for a saga based around one persons goal to blowing up the moon, (which as established in dragonball canon as something which can be restored), that would merely be a goal, it's up to the saga participants what outcome ultimately occurs.

Agreed. It's been a good while since the last saga, so it'd be neat to see things kick up again (even though holiday season's coming up)!
