Deep in a calm forest, on the planet Earth, a small shack creaked against the wind. Inside sat a odd young man, made even stranger by his appearance. With light red skin, and a pair of curled horns on his head, the mutt Saiyan found himself a hermit away from the world.
The man, who’s name is Spinash, sat in his one room staring at a small pocket mirror. For just a few seconds he made a stern face, but as time passed the stony face turned into a smile. This smile broke into comic laughter as he stood up and opened the door to his home. A light breeze fluttered his white cloak as he stretched his arms behind his head and let loose a large yawn. With a fluid motion he threw his hood over his head and sauntered of into the wilderness before him.
As the sun sat at its zenith Spinash walked quietly into the wilderness, searching for his elusive prey. For weeks he had hunted, searching high and low to find a beast both delicious and formidable. He made his way into a small clearing, pulling an oversized radish from a bag he placed it gently in the center. Backing up to the edge of the clearing he sat cross-legged, waiting.
Wind rustled the grass in the silent clearing. Spinash tried to remain patient as time passed but he could help but find himself flicking the tip of his tail gently. As the hands on the universal clock rolled on he found himself waiting for two hours, two long and silent hours. Just as he was about to give in a head home he heard a soft thud coming from behind him.
Spinash threw himself into the air just in time to dodge two massive tusks, whose owner seemed determined to kill him. Landing softly in the center of the clearing he stared dead into the eyes of a monstrous boar. The beast had to be close to ten foot at the shoulder, wielding two meter and a half beaten tusks. The beast roared, charging at Spinash as he threw off his cloak with one hand and drew his sword with the other.
As the boar closed in spinash could feel its hot breath blasting his face, but he held his ground. His sword began to glow a light green and vibrate slightly. The beast was but a few feet away when he raised the blade above his head, slashing downward as he spoke.
“Saru-Gatana!” He brought the sword swinging downward, a brilliant green crescent of energy surged forth towards the boar passing through the monster as Spinash made a quick leap to the right to dodge the rampaging beast. The air crashed through where Spinash was and plowed into a large oak tree. As the boar connected with the arboreal barrier it froze in its tracks.
A split began to form from the head of the beast and down its back. After just a few moments the boar split in two down the middle, bifurcated by the energy from Spinash’s sword. His face burst into a large smile as he licked his lips. “This is going to be a delicious meal” grabbing both halves of the animal he began dragging it home, satisfied by his enormous hunt.
