The beautiful red and black smoke rising from the point was magnificent, sending shivers down her spine and she could feel the power behind it when the recoil from the dynamite sent a pole shaped rod of metal towards her direction. She was able to catch it before it could impale her, but it showed how effective it would be when the time finally came for her to use these dangerous machines herself.
Sixteen Hours Later
Cold, bleak, stoic people circulating back and forth throughout the malls, streets, and other parts of the city where the humans and other species communed about their lives. A black shadow, similar to that of mist, Lizbeth hid in the shadows of an alleyway as usual when she did these sorts of… Activities. Her body was shivering, having warming hat pads underneath her elegant maid’s outfit as she sat in the snow while her black and silver dress forced her to stand, mainly due to the wire netting underneath stopping her from fully sitting. The clang of metal objects underneath the skirt caused her to be faint, and quickly readjust the belt she wore beneath the cloth. The sight of the humans being normal, going about their lives as if nothing was going to happen sickened the current Lizbeth, as she was currently in her less than admirable self. People every so often looked over at her as they passed, but one man asking to take a photograph of her gave her slight hope in the human race, that they might understand the beauty behind sick and twisted things and events. She readjusted her bow, resting between her cat ears, which seemed more fake due to makeup, allowing her to pass as a cosplaying human being easily. People commented her on her appearance, either asking if she would like a coat, or if she was part of some sort of group, and answering as if she was an eager human girl seemed to help make people feel less than intimidated around her. This was exactly what she wanted, licking her lips and sharp fanged teeth, and she strutted her way over to the mall she had been eyeing down for a couple hours prior.
It had little to no security, only a single metal detector and a few guards, but she was able to get around the detector easily enough by going through the out door, and when noticing all the people buying hundreds of items, such as shirts, pants, food and even perfume, she smirked her evil smile. She required a scene, and having already paid a man to set up speakers and get some backup dancers hidden among the crowds in the food court, she made her way over through the crowds, flying above the people, who looked up at the flying neko woman in her maid’s outfit, cheering and awed, some even following as she flew into the massive and open area and landed onto the performance stage. Lizbeth had practiced this multiple times before, her heart racing with excitement while the lights shined onto the platform and exposed more than Lizbeth, but four other neko looking humans who had been hired to dress similarly. It was like five Lizbeths were on stage at once, all having a different hair color and wearing a different color dress, from her Monochrome to their carrot type and even bright pink. They all bowed, synchronized, and then struck different poses, similar to that of salutes, from multiple different angles and positions, before the words came out from Lizbeth’s mouth.
”Thank you for coming out here today, this is not the official group, but I, Liz, will be forming a band later this year and hope many of you exciting people can try out! This is the first song we have tried, and I hope everyone likes it!”
It didn’t take long for the woos and screams of the crowds to get louder and louder while the doors to the court closed and locked without any of the people inside knowing. Lizbeth knew why, of course, but it would be after her performance! She stepped up, beginning to sing the song she found in the musician’s song case that she had raided only a few days ago, making sure to copy it and get ready for the ultimate exposure of her musical talent to the world…
… The lights dimmed as the song would end, her coworkers bowing and getting ready to go back into the greenroom that they had come from, before one with pink hair noticed the door was locked.
”Wha- What is this?” The four twins said simultaneously, as their sister tried to open the door. Lizbeth began to laugh, louder and louder as she maniacally grabbed at her face, smiling as if she was insane, which she was, but surprise erupted from the crowd. They couldn’t get away, and Lizbeth started to bow her body, going into a curtsy and something began to happen. Things, visibly as M67 Fragmentation Grenades, started to fall from her skirt and litter down onto the floor without their pins or arms, and slowly rolling below the people inside the crowd, who were both scared and terrified of death, and trying to run away only made the explosion sweeter.
BOOM
More of these began to rain from the sky above the people, the skylight windows shattered as more gasmask wearing men emptied buckets of these grenades down onto the people. Explosions filling the room as the guards, horrified had to watch as blood was spread, people having their body parts ripping off and blood spraying the glass walls keeping the food court away from the rest of the mall. They will attempt to open the doors, finding it locked and the lock and handles broken off. Horror was the only emotion inside could feel, except for Lizbeth, her body being covered in the crimson liquid and her laugh shadowed by the loud noise of the explosives and screams of pain and death which only fueled the woman even more. When the rain of metal fragments finally ended, the people left alive would not live to see the light of day, as the young neko retrieved her knife and watching as Kimo came out and smirking herself, not wearing her armor, but instead wearing a one piece hazmat suit, while wielding her Odachi and swiping down the survivor with one or two slices as she made her way through the corpses. Lizbeth, herself, stabbed the people she found running or crawling away, and when she felt it was finally over, she dropped her weapon and went to the glass, shattering the bulletproof glass with a quick punch and running for what would be her life, but the police were way to useless on Earth. Her getaway would be quick and unknown to the people around, as they dropped the bloodied clothes, Lizbeth placing it back in her bag as to not lose her maid’s costume, and they would lay low in the woods…. Awaiting what may come for them.
