Articho felt Xylo's hand snake around his leg. He was doing that weird stretchy arm thing again and trying to toss him back towards the ground. The hybrid has his own means of longer limb grappling, moving his tail to coil around Xylo's neck as he was flung downwards. He hoped to turn the momentum to his advantage and tossing Xylo to the ground instead of himself with a barrage of ki blasts following after.
"Really? A 'your mom' insult? What are you, eight?" Articho said. "Real rich coming from the anthropomorphic slug man that got shat about in an egg."

As Xylo's arms wrapped around Articho's leg, the Namekian tossed him away quickly. In those few moments before he'd been tossed, Articho's tail had snaked around Xylo without his notice, constricting his neck heavily. The two struggled against one another, before the both of them began to plummet. Xylo smashed into the ground, indenting the tiles with his body. He wasn't sure what happened to Articho, but he hoped the Saiyan also took a tumble. He groaned as he ripped himself from the ground, standing to his full height as he shook rubble from his cranium. "I think we've fought long enough. Ready to end things?"Xylo's Ki exploded out around him in a powerful display as his body rose into the sky. His power began to rise immensely; surely this would be the final attack!

Articho grinned as he managed to send Xylo tumbling downward, only for his grin to fade as he was sent down right along with him. Shit, shit, shit! he thought as his brain raced to figure out a solution. He twisted around to make sure he was facing the ground and braced himself for inevitable impact. His shoulder slammed into the stone and sent him rolling across the arena. With a quick push, he bounced back up to his feet and skid a few more feet to a stop. He dusted off the shoulder of his jacket as he grinned at Xylo.
"I couldn't agree more!" he replied. His own golden aura glowed brightly around him as he began charging his own attack.

As Articho's Ki burned to life around him, Xylo smirked. This was exactly what he was hoping for! The Namekian's Ki Aura increased in ferocity as Xylo let out a dark chuckle. "I must admit, you've grown on me, Saiyan. I hope you think of more tricks for our next encounter."After one last expulsion of Ki, Xylo's aura suddenly disappeared! At the same time, his cheeks had bulged outward, almost as if he'd taken in water. With a quick jerk of his head, Xylo's mouth opened wide, letting loose a thick glob of dark grey saliva. It tore through the air like a bullet, aiming to hit Articho square in the chest. If it hit, the poor Super Saiyan would be turned to stone soon after. Luckily for the Hybrid, however, it would be a temporary petrification-- not short enough to keep Xylo from being declared victor, but it was better than an eternity as a bauble.

"You can be damn sure I will. Next time we meet, I'll be a level beyond Super Saiyan and hopefully, you'll lose the cliche," Articho said with a smirk. He barely had time to register the Namekian's drop in his aura and he didn't even see the gob of spit until it hit him in the chest. He stared down at his chest in confusion, which quickly turned to alarm as the stone began spreading across his chest. He wiped at the spreading stone, trying to get it off, only for it to spread to his hand. His arms and legs were quickly being turned to stone and made immovable. "You rat! You cheap son of a bitch! Fight me like a-" Articho's voice cut off as the stone overtook his face, leaving a very angry statue of him in his place.
