What Kaito was about to find in the next few minutes or so, would brighten up his day in a tremendously long time. His face full of life back then had fallen prey to this wicked depression which had grabbed hold of his mind a great deal of time. It had been approximately eight months since Kaito had become like this. Loss of weight, his hair not so shiny, and overall his fighting performance had decreased greatly in quality. But the saying "the body is nothing without a healthy mind" is not said on a whim. This entire time, there was something that had been bugging Kaito day and night. This thing of so much importance to him was called the Galactic Patrol. Something Kaito had lost and the worst part of it is that his head was too dizzy to remember how things turned out like this. Every time he would try to remember what truly happened that day, his head would hurt and basically if he would keep it up he'd pass out from the pain. This thing happened two or three times to the human. Hence, he avoided in trying to discover the truth, but he was far from satisfied from this lifestyle. He missed his friends, Gnash, Cornatto, Samba and to some point the almighty yet peculiar leader, Beryl Roarke. Kaito will never forget that one time in Namek where his past self, much weaker than his current one, challenged Beryl to a match. The guts of Kaito back then led to a lot of hasty and ridiculous decisions but fighting the Galactic Patrol leader was not a bad one at all. On the contrary, it was the gateway to a new life of Kaito; as a Galactic Patrol officer. Unfortunately, those days seem to be long gone. " This sucks..." Kaito deplored in boredom. For the past few days, he's decided to return to his homeland regions, Sothern Islands. The weather of this country was the best fitting one for Kaito's body, actually, he was enjoying the sunny time so much that a weak smile could be seen on his lips. The noisy and busy atmosphere of the South Capitol was something that never changed as well. Kaito remembers this detail since he was a kid when he'd hang out with his childhood friends and cause trouble around the city. It's not that kind of trouble that one may think, though; Kaito was not a delinquent. Just your usual kiddy messes. The bench he was sitting on was quite warm and he was enjoying the view of his favorite park of the city, but he decided to go somewhere quieter. His brown eyes immediately targetted the nearest small forest with a river which crossed through as the blondie levitated in the air. He always loved the people's face expressions when they would see someone flying, it will never get old. Once Kaito reached the right altitude, he dashed in a shiny white aura towards the forest. " Eh, maybe I have gotten used to this life after all. I will probably begin meditating once I find a suitable spot." The human smiled genuinely this time. The noise gradually died down and it was safe to say that Kaito was slightly outside of the main area of the city. He truly loved the silence nature provided, for it was holy and enlightening. Kaito stopped for a moment and started scanning the area before his senses started picking numerous Ki signatures. " Huh? What would that place exactly be?" The human wondered as his eyes picked up a ship of sorts. A chemical burst of enthusiasm exploded inside Kaito's body. Could it be really what he was thinking of? The human did not think twice. With his immeasurable speed, he neared the spaceship in a matter of seconds, and it was no mistake. That color, that shape and most importantly, that atmosphere the ship gave off. The human's eyes melted a little... But he could not be fully sure. Therefore, he shouted in a loud voice. " Ooooiiii!!~~ Anyone in there?" In hope that someone recognizable would come out, it felt like forever to wait a response.

(Thread PL: 220,093) Raisu Hanamura had come by a certain Beryl Roarke's ship with one purpose: to simply drop off some papers. It had been simple stuff: basic medical info and the like, the kind of data that might need to be on file for a Patrolman. Though it was dull and routine, the prospect of it was oddly exciting. It was another step into something larger, somethign that worked its way into the pit of Raisu's stomach, that heavy feeling forming there. He felt as if he was standing on the precipice of a cliff, staring down into the abyss of it, his eyes following that sheer rock wall all the way down into the unknown. But to his chagrin, the Galactic Patrol leader had not been in. Raisu had, of course, let himself into the ship. No way was he going to leave these papers on the doorstep where any random person might come along and take them, or the wind might carry them away. So, the hybrid had made his way into the heart of the ship and placed them on what looked like a desk that was fairly frequented. He had entertained the idea of dropping the leader a mental message via telepathy, but he did not want to overstep his boundaries: Raisu had found out the hard way that many people did not like having the inner sanctum of their mind invaded by trivial messages. The Arcosian fighter, Defrosch, sprung to mind here. Last Raisu had known, his space lizard friend was far from fond of such works. As Raisu began to make his way out of the ship, an approaching energy signature dashed across his mind, growing in size as it came even closer. It was large, but not quite large enough to be the life-force of Beryl. And besides, he noted, the energy was utterly unfamiliar to him. Perhaps another Patrolman who had business with Beryl? It would be good to meet his compatriots, so Raisu rushed the door, hearing the words of the newcomer as he finally stepped out into the light of day. Raisu blinked, assessing the man floating before him. The first thing that caught his eye was the golden-blond hair of the new arrival. A stark contrast to the crimson hair of Raisu himself. Raisu looked the man up and down and decided that the man looked the part of a fighter: the newcomer certainly had the power for it. "Hi!" Shouted Raisu back, "Are you Galactic Patrol, too?"The hybrid eagerly awaited a response, his tail swaying happily behind him. Kaito

In a split moment, an unrivaled power level came into surface to Kaito's Ki senses. It was roaming inside the ship, which the human was more than sure that it belonged to the Galactic Patrol, in circular and at some point confused motions. The amount of the Ki this mysterious fellow possessed reminded Kaito of Beryl's power level when they fought in Namek. Although this one was a little bit lower, but that did not mean that he wasn't capable of being as fearsome as Beryl can be. The blondie who was floating approximately 10m outside of the ship's gigantic door was eagerly waiting on this monstrous presence. It had been maybe a minute or two since the moment Kaito shouted in hope that the person inside may have heard him. Either way, he could still sense the human's presence. Although Kaito's power level was significantly lower, he could not be considered weak at all. The wind flicked against the human's golden locks and pushed them rightward, forcing the human to use his hands to bind them in place again. As he was contemplating to infiltrate the spaceship in case that the power level won't come out at all, the person who beared this huge amount of Ki finally appeared. It was a young man with a messy style of red hair, bangs that covered most of his forehead and a braid located at his head's left side. " Woah..." Kaito could not conceal his astonishment and keep it internally at all. He then continued scanning the hybrid's appearance; he was wearing a pink jacket with a black T-shirt underneath. He sported simple pants too, accompanied with your everyday boots. It did not seem that he posed any danger. The hybrid gave off peaceful vibes to Kaito, who quickly got used to his presence and started approaching even more, of course being cautious --- anything could happen. The red hair did not hesitate to speak and even proposed a question to the human back; one that would shock him to no limits. "Are you Galactic Patrol, too?" What did he ever mean by this? First, the Galactic Patrol faction seems to be still functioning, but to the point that it has recruited new members was beyond Kaito's expectations. Maybe he had been gone for too long. " Why yes, I am Galactic Patrol too," the human sighed and continued, " to tell you the truth, I always was under the impression that the faction was disbanded, forever lost within the interval of time along with Beryl's disappearance, but I am glad I'm proven wrong." The human's face quickly took that of a happy and delighted nature. " I take it you're a new recruit. How are you called? I'm Kaito Zen, but people rarely reference me by my last name, so you can just call me Kaito." The blondie offered a handshake to the hybrid with a natural and spontaneous smile. Raisu Hanamura

The golden haired human floated down towards Raisu, ever so slowly, approaching him like a curious puppy. Raisu tilted his head and crimson hair fell softly out of his face, and his black eyes, those marking his Saiyan ancestry, watched the man carefully and with casual interest. Raisu's tail swayed behind him as the man approached, almost as if in anticipation. As the man approached, he began to speak, answering Raisu's question. And Raisu's face lit up with a wide, toothy grin as the man revealed his allegiance to the Galactic Patrol. His first encounter with another member! Outside of Beryl, of course, this was Raisu's first exposure to the wider community of Patrolmen. The man went on about Beryl's own departure, and Raisu nodded quickly, redhair bobbing up and down. Beryl had mentioned that much during his initial encounter with the man. "Right," said Raisu, "Though, I guess he's really reviving it. He said he even has television ads and stuff." The man's face shifted to an amiable expression, one that had begun to match Raisu's own, and introduced himself: Kaito Zen, or just Kaito. Nodding, Raisu took note of the name and took a snapshot of the face within his mind's eye. It'd be best to get to know his fellow patrolmen. "Good to meet you, Kaito," said Raisu, taking the man up on his offer of handshake. He gripped the hand firmly and pumped his own arm up and down, like some kind of biological lever. Raisu gestured with his other hand, placing it against his just and bowing ever so slightly. "I'm Raisu Hanamura," he continued, "Though a lot of people call me 'Rai'."With that, he paused a moment and assessed his newfound compatriot. The guy was strong, that was for sure, and he seemed a decent enough fellow based on their cursory interactions. And likely, this Kaito had to be, to make it into the Galactic Patrol. Raisu highly doubted that ruffians and generally terrible people were allowed entry into the ranks of the Patrol. "So, what brings you out to this neck of the woods?" Asked Raisu, "You seem pretty shocked to hear that the Galactic Patrol is up and running." Kaito

The red hair grinned, showcasing his nasty tooth externally as he did so. He went on and shared his knowledge about the situation of the Galactic Patrol; that its revival has made it now more potent than ever to the degree that it has even been showed throughout worldwide TV stations. The rollercoaster for this faction had been adventurous, to say the least. It started from a few people that gathered in Namek, hit a certain peak after the voyage back to Earth and now was growing even more. A truly loyal member like Kaito was naturally and genuinely glad for his faction's progression. The wind picked up as soon as Kaito offered a handshake to the hybrid while introducing himself. He gracefully accepted it while slightly bowing down to show respect, an essential factor that indicated the hybrid was well-mannered and an educated man. He stated that his name was Raisu Hanamura; a name a bit too long for Kaito's taste, but he was lucky that he could just call him Rai for that matter. The human exchanged a smile with the hybrid and retracted his arm back as he joined it with the other one, placing the two incorporated limbs in front of his chest in a cross shape. The human had trust in Beryl's choice of picking the new members. In Kaito's eyes, Raisu was ideal to be a crucial member of the faction, and since he was generally new, the human would be more than glad to teach him stuff about how Galactic Patrol works internally. But he could save that pleasure for later. Currently, he was more focused on exchanging valuable information with the hybrid. " Nice to meet you, Rai." The blondie started, " And you could not be more right about my shock, honestly. In fact, I was just on the verge in moving on with a life without the Galactic Patrol. It sounded incredibly boring to me at first, but then I thought I will get used to it inevitably --- I guess a human's adaptability is his best attribute." The human stopped for a second to inhale some air and continued. " Just earlier I was trying to find a suitable spot for meditation until I noticed Beryl's ship lying around this area. Blind luck, basically. What about you, though? How long has it been since you joined and is Beryl inside the ship? I really need to meet that uncanny man." The human's face took a curious nature and his eyes were as innocent as they could get. He patiently waited for the hybrid to reply while tapping his index finger against his biceps. Raisu Hanamura

The man took his hand away and crossed them at his chest before going on to explain his disbelief and spoke of human adaptability. Raisu cocked an eyebrow and nodded, but he could not help but think that man sounded incredibly dedicated to the Galactic Patrol. Might that speak volumes about the organization? And judging by his eagerness to meet with Beryl, Raisu would think that such loyalty would be in no small part thanks to the human leader of the Galactic Patrol. Raisu paused a moment to take to consider the questions fired at him, both his eyebrows rising this time, and Raisu's tongue twisted preemptively in his mouth, already tripping over his own words to answer the questions. "Well," he began awkwardly, "I've really only been a part of it for a few weeks, if that. I didn't really meet Beryl until recently, you know? Hell, I don't think I had even heard of the Galactic Patrol until Beryl walked into my tea shop."That much was true, and it shamed him to admit that, eyes rolling bashfully to the side. He reached up to play with his single braid. "As for Beryl," he continued, "No, he is not in his ship, sadly. I was just inside dropping off some papers. You know, official junk, like my medical dossier."Raisu's hand dropped from his braid and went to his side, stuffing the hand deep inside his pocket, trying to act casual. "I'm sure he'll be back soon, though. Probably really busy with all the higher up crap he has to do," muttered Raisu. He stood in silence for a moment. Well, thought Raisu, this was slightly awkward. Had he disappointed the man? Were the roles reversed, Raisu might feel the slightest edge of disappointment, especially after finding out the organization he held so near and dear were active once again. What was running through Kaito's mind? Raisu clicked his tongue, trying to fill the silence. "So," he added, "Got any stories from your time with the Galactic Patrol?"

The distinct features of the two Galactic Patrol members easily stood out in that environment filled with trees all around and with a gigantic ship lying behind Raisu's back. Kaito stood firmly with his tall build and listened to the hybrid as he spoke, nodding after each series of words in order to show agreement. A fiery determination filled Kaito's brown hues as he looked over the crimson red hair, which was quickly followed by a friendly smile. " Aha, it sounds you're relatively new then. Don't worry, you have people like me around to help you should you stumble upon any problem within the faction," - he replied with a nuance of confidence in his tone, " but as a payment, you got to treat me for tea someday, deal?" The human claimed playfully, abandoning his x-shaped arm stance and let them loose. " But still, though, that Beryl is something else." His eyes sparkled in admiration yet with a slight anger at the same time; why did such a respectable and powerful guy like Beryl let the Galactic Patrol almost go to waste? Kaito had the deepest respect for the dark skinned guy, but he wanted to triumph over him simultaneously; it was a weird relationship he had with him, really. It almost felt like a competition. " Ah, I see. I have to wait for some other time, then." Kaito shifted his gaze somewhere else after Raisu stated that Beryl happened to not be in the ship currently. He felt a little disappointed if you will. But this feeling did not last long at all. The human chose to focus on the present and more importantly, on the new member. Up until now, it felt nice to talk to him, so Kaito was interested in more conversations. He beckoned Raisu about not to worry about Beryl at all, for the human knew he was always like this; disappearing and appearing at the very same time. After a little bit of silence which had given Kaito enough time to reflect on his choice of words and to think whether he'd said something wrong so far, the hybrid seemed to be interested in the Galactic Patrol adventures. Well, obviously. Picture a kid who wants to learn more and more about the numbers and the letters, or just life in general, such was Raisu right now. He had to make sure he knew enough about the organization he is in, it was perfectly normal. The human walked up to him and casually flicked his hair braid up and down in a playful manner. " Before the story time, let me invite you inside of the ship. I bet they still got some delicious stuff in the kitchen. I'm kinda hungry you know." After making sure the hybrid followed, Kaito guided him to where the eating room was. As expected, the maids had prepared the usual; you could pick from variations of ramen to boiled eggs and cheese. " Be comfortable and make yourself at home!" Well, the human could have made his own food but he wasn't feeling like cooking at all, so the noodles would do. He grabbed a seat and invited his friend to do the same while sipping on the bowl of ramen. " Now, where to start I guess," - he began after making sure he swallowed the nourishment, " personally, it all began in Namek for me. That's where I met Beryl and another good friend of mine which I like to think he's still in this organization. The reason I was in Namek in the first place was to help my best friend to find more about his own family and planet in first place. He's called Gnash and is a Namekian of massive build, you don't wanna get on his bad side at all." The blondie chuckled. " Days passed and suddenly we felt the presence of a powerful Ki, which was Beryl's. We rushed there, exchanged what had to be said along with some fists, and then rest is history. We were accepted into the Galactic Patrol for our toughness and bravery we showed. Beryl took us back to Earth and since then, we have been training in our special gravity enhanced chamber, located on this ship. We've also aided with the Earth's protection somehow, but our priority was to get stronger. The universe is vast, you know? We have to embrace ourselves about the countless creatures and beings out there." That was when the human stopped talking and made sure to finish the remaining ramen before it got cold. In the meanwhile, he'd also noted carefully Raisu's face expressions as he told his story. He liked to analyze people based on this aspect; it was an art of its own. " But then, unfortunately, the tragedy happened and the organization kinda fell apart. Luckily, it's still hanging around and now better than ever!" The human's face light up as he said these words, awaiting a reply from the hybrid after talking this excessively. Raisu Hanamura
