(Been too long, skipping puny heran)
Although the sword seemed a bit rattled when she said her name, she brushed it under the table. No one could have possibly learned about her, as she was completely sure that the evidence of her escape from Planet Shikk was gone, as she provided an extra corpse to serve as her own while she made her true escape. Though that might remain in the air if this was something related to the ferrosians, as they were still rather an oddity. They were master forgers after all, but she had no idea as to whether or not they were capable of creating sentient weapons.
Stuck in her thoughts, she would realize that the sword was hopping away, so she followed the group along to the final point. Listening along as things progressed. After much antics, it seemed that it ended up with the sword getting rather testy but admitting that he would indeed like some help. Heh, an easy score, as these kinds of situations can be charged for such exorbitant fees. Then the friggin' piece of metal started saying he wouldn't be held responsible for anything that happened to them. Glaring a little, she uttered out quickly, "Heh, you kidding? I've lived through worse shit than any of you dweebs. It'll take a lot to push me away from a good job."
Smirking rather darkly from within the safety of her own mask, she would find herself pleased with her little comment. If this was the maximum potential of those around her, then she was easily the strongest person there, asides from the sword. But she really didn't count the sword, as it was not alive. Thinking that, she was able to hone her ears on a particular detail that the sword just happened to mention.
"Thirty nine thousand, eh?" she repeated back, moving her regular hand to her mask, she flicked the scouter function to life by rotating her lens a little, expanding the range of the scan. Further and further back she went back, and it seemed she found what she was looking for.
Turning around, facing towards the North-west direction, she would say, "I found that 39,000 level. Though, alongside it are a couple of other powers. Currently can't get a specific reading, probably due to their close proximity to your buddy I assume... So whether its a tiny bug or a giant monster, well, that's to be seen... Heheh."

Power Level – 26,621
Word Count – 332
“No, no,” the masked man emphasised, stemming the confusion in Azguard’s mind and revealing himself to go by the name ‘Big Train’. What a strange name it was, though the Bio–Android cared not for the curiosities of nomenclature. Names were names and, as far as it was aware, there was no real benefit to be gained in asking the reasoning behind somebody’s identity. A polite wave of greeting was reciprocated, albeit via a quick barrel roll within the Plasm, but any further gestures of friendliness were cut short.
‘Owch!’ The nascent panacea’s entire form seemed to bubble and spike erratically, the Core and its accompaniment writhing in shock as a potent telepathic scream filled its mind – neurones fired, cranial region pounding. Such a surge had most definitely come from Guardia, for the blade’s mental ‘voice’ was distinct enough; the only instance of such a thing that Azguard had sampled in its venture across the desert sands. The emotional charge behind such a screech was lost, but the physical causes were obvious. One of the strange–coloured sapiens had taken a hold of the sword’s handle!
‘If you get hurt, that’s your problem, not mine!’ Guardia announced.
“Thirty–nine thousand, eh?” ‘Thirty–nine thousand…?’ the malleable medic quizzed, ‘Azguard does not know what this Power Level is, but if it is cell count, then it sounds really small.’
Naïve as to the meanings of such values, the Bio–Android hovered curiously. At first it looked to Jihana, silently inquiring her origins and the reason she hid her face behind such a strange mask. Then, being far more concerned about the possibility of an injured party in the vicinity, it turned its attentions to the aforementioned northwest. Little eyes scoured the dimming light of the horizon, making out the dust and the dunes that circled their surroundings on all sides, but not once did it notice anything out of the ordinary.
‘By the way,’ Azguard turned to Guardia: ‘What is a ninja edgelord…?’
Such a short post, but I didn’t want to hold this up!

Chikara had seemingly let the blade go for now, letting Guardia float about freely now. Brushing himself off with his tiny crossguards, the blade would eye Big Train, who seemed more than eager to help. Jihana spoke of being through worse than the rest of the group, earning a tired eye twitch from the sword. Guardia had been through the most shit here, even though he had no idea what Jihana had been through. Universe Five was a gauntlet Chai and Guardia barely made it out of, and nothing could compare to the despair casted by the their Special Forces' shadows. 'You wanna bet on that?' Guardia responded quickly with his own glare, eye twitching a little.
Before the sapient sword could say ahything else to Jihana, Collan spoke of his doubts about the ragtag group, earning a narrowed glance from Guardia. 'Do I have a choice? Chai would trust everyone here. He believes in everyone and anyone. So I will too. For now, what is.' The sword spoke, rolling his eye and letting his eyelid droop. 'Besides, who knows what we'll find. We could need all the help we'll get!' Guardia spoke, weary determination crossing his tone. He didn't know what happened to his partner, but whatever it was, it wasn't pretty.
Jihana spoke again, earning a startled glance from Guardia when she said she found Chai's power. 'You did?! WHERE?!' Guardia spoke hastily, forgetting the Heran was one of his sworn enemies in universe Five for a moment and hovering up towards her with a wide eye. She said there were more powers near Chai which she couldn't completely pinpoint, which was awful concerning as well. But they found Chai! Mission objective number one accomplished! Now they just had to get him back. Before he could jet off towards his partner, Azguard spoke to the sword, questioning what a "Ninja Edgelord" was. 'Oh, you know...' Guardia spoke, gesticulating aimlessly with his crossguards for a moment. 'Chai's just a big fuzzy pushover that's also a fuzzy ball of angst and suffering. You know, those kind of folks that are all...' Clearing his throat telepathically, Guardia gave a rather poor imitation of his partner's voice in a mocking, playful tune. 'OHHH NOOOOOOooo, my parents are dead and my planet is taken over and everything sucks. Now watch as I brood and mope!' Guardia spoke with a roll of his eye before sighing. '....God, I miss him.'
Chai completed Guardia- as edgy and mopey as he could be sometimes, the goat was a hopeful and determined soul that put others in front of himself. He always gave trust and mercy to others, which Guardia couldn't understand. Shaking his hilt like a head, Chai would follow Jihana's gaze to eye the tower blotting out some of the setting sun. Chai was there? Determination filling his eye, Guardia dahsed forwards. 'Now then, let's go! No dawdling!' And with that, the sword dashed off at an incredible speed, leaving a rainbow trail of ki in his wake.
Guardia reached the tower within seconds. The mage tower looked as well constructed as a toddler's brick tower, sections jutted to the left and right, it looked like a strong wind would be enough to blow it down. Yet here it stood, enduring the hardships of the desert. Floating over and pushing the door aside, Guardia eyed the strange room. Lamps and lanterns seem to give out darkness instead of light. Smoke from the strangling fire puffs into the room and swirled about the ceiling. Inside ladders dangled from holes in the ceiling as the only way to get to the higher rooms. Yet, everything was clearly obsessively compulsively neat. Row upon neat row of dustless jars labelled in the same neat script with even strokes of the quill, every label facing forwards. On closer inspection they were categorized according to the content and then alphabetized within their categories. It kind of reminded Guardia of Chai's room in the Rebellion Headquarters back home. He'd always organize his belongings meticulously, much like this. Peering outside, Guardia would note that he, with his vastly superior powers, had left the others in the dust! But he had to find Chai! He was here somewhere, right?
Flying up the many ladders, Guardia would make his way to the top room of the tower, opening the final flap to the top with a clank. There were no windows in this final room, leaving the sword's blade as the only light source. The darkness robbed the blade of his best senses and replaced them with an ominous fear. His blade flickered to life, dispelling the darkness and lighting up the room. Turning around, Guardia's eye would widen! 'CHAI!' The blade called, spotting his partner slumped in the corner of the room, eyes closed. Dashing up to his partner, the blade tried to shake his partner awake with his telekinesis, earning a strained grunt from the goat, who slowly began to stir. As his eyes flickered open, Guardia would speak once more to his partner. 'I-I-I TOLD YOU TO NEVER PULL A WORRYING STUNT LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN YOU IDIOT!! WHAT HAPPENED?! I WOKE UP AND YOU WERE GONE A-AND-'
The goat's eyes opened wide, but Guardia raised a brow when he saw black ki flicker to life around Chai's face, blotting out his eyes like some kind of mask. Throwing a fist forwards, Guardia was caught by utter surprise when Chai let loose a punch right towards the sword's eye, and sent him right through the wall! With a telepathic yelp, the others would most likely arrive just in time to see the sword fly out of the top floor of the building and roll across the sand. 'Euuuuuggghhh...' Guardia moaned, his eye a mere swirl now. Rainbow light and a ki Collan might find familiar bellowed from the building, but the goat's ki would feel... odd. It would feel blank. Empty. Devoid of any emotion or logic. The ninja goat landed outside of the building with a thud, the black energy still swirling around and masking his face. Floating back up and shaking his head, Guardia bellowed to his partner in a shocked, and somewhat betrayed tone. 'CHAI?! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR?!' He snapped, floating back towards his partner. The goat zoan didn't respond, and slipped into a battle stance with a blank expression beneath the clouding ki. Before Guardia could act any further, a familiar voice cut the air like a knife.
"I'm afraid your partner doesn't recall you, Guardia." 'What?! Who goes there?! WHAT did you do to my partner?!'
Guardia spoke back, not caring if the ragtag group he recruited was here or not. Staring up, the sword eyed a figure standing atop the tower, like some kind of brooding edgelord. A very, very familiar figure of a brooding edgelord. The sands roaring in the sky cleared, revealing a white goat zoan with curled horns standing atop the building, garbed in beige clothes with a black staff in his hands, and a knowing smirk spread across his muzzle. Narrowing his eyes as the other goat landed behind Chai, Guardia floated back somewhat as the stranger spoke with a dark chuckle. 'I should have expected more from my parallel and his sorry excuse for a companion. You have no idea how easy it was to bring this one under my power.' The two-eyed goat spoke, earning a startled glare from Guardia. Parallels? Under his power? Was he suggesting...? The second goat chuckled, letting his dark black ki flare behind Chai. 'So, demon from another reality. Can you bring yourself to fight your precious friend?' The warlock spoke in a mocking tune, eyeing the group behind Guardia. Those that could sense Ki would get an eerily similar reading from both goats, like they were the same person using a multiform technique. One would feel malicious, and the other was blank.
With a snap of the stranger's fingers- no-- the maniacal parallel Chai's fingers, the goat from another world would lunge forward, engaging Guardia in combat. Throwing a punch the sword's way, the blade was quick to dodge, but made no move to attack, merely staring up at his partner with a teary eye. 'Chai-- it's me!! Don't you remember?!' The blade beckoned, only earning a kick from the goat that sent him flying past the group that had probably caught up by now. The warlock behind Guardia's Chai narrowed his eye at the group, taking a step forward and speaking to the ragtag group. "Now then, you all better not interfere with their fight... Or I can assure you you'll meet the same fate as my parallel." The goat spoke, a crooked smile spreading across his features. How would the group Guardia recruited fare against two Chais? And how did this all happen?

Big Train eyed Collan, he focused on him to sense his power level. He was wrong. "Stronger? Hah, you're pretty strong kid but I'm stronger than you without these weights on" he would say slapping his chest indicating his weighted poncho. Big Train would listen to everyone, including Guardia's impression of his friend Chai. However he kept quiet, eager to get going towards Chai's power level. Finally the herd started moving, eventually running into a tower of some kind.
Strange there being such a building like this in the middle of the desert. Soon, the group pressed inside. Into a dimly lit room. It was all very rustic and medieval. Either this place was ancient or whoever lived here had a flair for the dramatic. When Mister Sword took off up the tower, Big Train would give chance, sticking close behind. He was out of breath by the time they got up there but none the less he noticed the unconscious Chai.
Guardia would zoom over to Chai, Big Train just hoped he was alright. And then before Big Train could fully process it, Chai had sent Mister Sword flying through a wall. Big Train's natural response was to pounce backwards and drop into a defensive stance. But then Chai just leapt out of the building. Big Train rushed to the hole in the wall to gaze down and watch as another goat zoan descended from the top of the building and behind Chai.
Intently watching the three exchange words, Big Train didn't quite understand what was going on. So he kept his mouth shut. All Big Train knew was that the two had very similar ki, were they related or something? Big Train had finally made his way over just in time for Guardia to be kicked past him by Chai. Big Train dropped again into his defensive stance as the warlock zoan made his threat. He looked back towards Guardia and called out, "What should we do?" before turning to the rest of the group. It was obvious that Chai was being manipulated and Big Train did not want to risk hurting him.

As Collan was answered, he shrugged as he wasn't too mad at Guardia's answer. They definitely knew Chai more than Collan...well this Collan that was. Though even though, the hero in training was still going to help, since he still considered himself a friend of Chai's. Besides, would a hero really leave someone in distress?
But then Collan urked when Big Train answered. How good was this guy's hearing to hear everything Collan just whispered!? At least he didn't tell what he said about everyone else. Jihana had said something about finding some power levels, but Collan wasn't paying much attention. Until Guardia had gone off on his own. Did Guardia figure out where he was, or running off in hope? That's when Collan would see a tower that they would be heading too.
It stood tall, and something about was...intimidating. ...Chai is a great guy, but why does this have to be put on MY shoulders? He thought to himself, as he then took flight and get to the tower as fast as possible. Once getting there, Collan landed onto the ground and and quickly jumped up, then hover in front of the top of the tower.
"Well, it's quicker than climbing the stairs." He said aloud, ready to throw a punch to break through the wall. Before Collan knew it though, a the wall broke before he could do anything. He ducked as he watched Guardia fly out, as well as Chai and...Chai?...is this that multiple universes thing kicking in? Or some sort of wanna be?
But none the less, that's when Collan realized it was the Chais attacking Guardia! It wasn't hard to figure out by one of their tones. But why was the real Chai on the fake Chai's side!? It was evident that the fake Chai wanted everyone else to just watch as Guardia duked it out with the real one.
That's when Big Train had finally asked everyone a simple question once everyone presumably got here. "...What are we going to do?" He said after Big Train asked his question. "What are we going to do!? I don't know about you! But I'm going to be a hero someday! And no matter what, heroes don't back down!" He then swiped his hand across the air and put his fingers together, a blade of red Ki forming around his hand.
Then, he turned to fake Chai, shouting at the top of his lungs. "I don't know who the hell you are! But all I know is that you're not Chai! But you sure as hell are the enemy here!" Then charging at full speed, he headed towards the sinister asshole. "Come over here you bastard!" Once in range, he would attempt to slice at his opponent with said blade of Ki, aiming for his arms and legs, trying to make them unusable.
If successful, he would try and finish it off with a spinning uppercut with his free left hand.

Hearing the challenge of the floating sword, her eyes narrowed a little as she grinned within her own mask, saying with such a dark glee, "Yeah, I god damn do bet. But this ain't the place for it, because of your furry buddy or something?" After making that assertion, she clarified for the sword in the direction in which Chai was, along with telling him all of that miscellaneous information. Though, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit at the sword's attempt at imitating a ninja edge lord. Guy must have little pride to degrade himself in such a way.
Though, as soon as all the introduction were made and the location of Chai had been found, Jihana became rather furious as everyone around her seemed to blast off in that general direction, either flying or running very fast. All the while she just stood their, the gaze coming from her eyes becoming more and more vicious. She tried keeping up, but the damn heavy weight was both keeping her from flying AND was also weighing her down, thus meant that the fat man was able to out speed her. There was one emotion that can come from this, an emotion which was synonymous to those who would gain death sentences from her.
Thus, she had to slowly trudge through the desert and be the last one to arrive at the tower, where all of the action had already started. In fact, by the time she arrived, she watched the goat person fall from the tower, along with yet another goat boy. Oh god, which one was the Edge lord the sword wanted!? Wait, that answer was easy, one of them was definitely not a NINJA edge lord. Well, it seems that the mission had succeeded, seeing as how the sword found his master of sorts. Though, as she started listening in on the conversation, it seemed that the NINJA Edge Goat was brainwashed or some kind of bull crap... This was going to be annoying.
Stepping towards the sword and the goat, she would say, "You, Goat Warlock, shut your trap! You think anyone here really cares what you think? You're just a pathetic wimp who thinks he has power, because you were able to break one person's mind. If that's the case, then let's take away what little bit of power you got, and find out that you are just a sniveling nerd playing a sick game."
Definitely ignoring the threats of the Mean Goat, Jihana looked at the weaker Goat, feeling rather embarrassed that she has to deal with the weaker of the two. Bringing her voice up, she would say, "Fatty, Silver, keep the warlock distracted. Me and the floating slicer will knock some sense into this pipsqueak... And, er, Blob thing... Just, erm... Just do what you can!"
The main reason why she decided to choose to knock some sense back into the brainwashed Chai was to remove the potential pawn that the warlock guy had. Hostage situations were such a pain the ass, always wanting their hostages back without a hitch, and yet this was the only way to avoid such a situation. Though, from scanning the goat, it seemed that his 39,000 Power Level was not just for show. In order to compensate to keep up in the situation, she started to bulk herself up, letting her own power rise quadrafold even more, just so she can be on the same level of the edge lord.
Chuckling darkly, she would say, "I'll follow your lead you floating sword."

Post by Azguard on Jan 13, 2017 17:10:50 GMT
Power Level – 26,621
Word Count – 699
Guardia’s vocal mimicry – especially on a telepathic level – was quite interesting. However, Azguard was more or less focused upon learning the definition it had so kindly asked for, which the sword summarised aptly. Of course, and with a tumble to express its confusion, the Bio-Android in blue had no idea what any of it even meant. The closest comparison was depression; the obstruction of certain neuro-chemical signals, and maybe that was part of the deal. Whether or not that was true was yet to be revealed, but finding Chai was the party’s priority. Within seconds, Guardia had raced ahead, and at least a few more seconds were dedicated by Azguard to observe the celestial tail that the psychic sword had left in its wake.
‘Hey! Wait for Azguard,’ the nascent panacea called out as it following in the now dispersing party’s wake. Plasm shifted shape solely due to sudden acceleration, the entity moving at just a fraction of the speed that the sentient sabre had achieved as it carved its way through the dusty, dry air. It only just matched the silver-haired sir’s own velocity. What was his name again? Collin? Colon? Collan! Even so, a stone structure of some sort soon made itself known to Azguard’s eyes, tall and crumbly and bizarre. Never before had it seen anything of the sort, its architecture comparable only to some of the most unusual feats of modern engineering. Not that the being had any appreciation of such marvels of technology.
All of a sudden, something erupted from the curious construct. A surge of energy, but not enough to make Azguard’s dulled senses notice. More or less it was the reappearance of Guardia, dazzled and drifting, that alerted the amorphous orderly to more recent happenings. It was a blur of speech and motion, confusing to say the least, and even Azguard’s eyes could not keep up with what was taking place. At one moment there was nothing, but at the next there was Guardia, a Goat Zoan and… a Goat Zoan? A few double takes later and the malleable medic finally realised that this was not some elaborate illusion, but an honest mirror image of what it assumed to be Chai.
“Now then, you all better not interfere,” said the robed Goat-man.
Strange as the sight of a pair of Goats was, while others might have been fazed or perplexed by such a thing, the Bio-Android’s own naïveté could only draw a single conclusion from what it was witnessing. It hovered a bit higher into the air, keeping its gelatinous exterior as far from the sandy earth as it could while still being available; and the Core swam a circle before looking directly with the Goat in the gown.
‘Excuse me,’ Azguard inquired telepathically: ‘Is Mister Goat a ninja edgelord…?’
…
“What should we do?” “What are we going to do?” Collan said to Big Train, “and no matter what, heroes don’t back down!”
‘Ooooo~!’ came a psychic sound, representative of a certain slime’s fascination. The mere mention of such a word and its known connotations inspired a sense of awe within Azguard’s tiny heart – a sense that it had so far only experienced on one occasion. Back in Satan City, it had encountered a man of such splendour and skill and strength that his mere presence had been etched eternally into its mind. That man’s name was ‘Captain Nova’, a Superhero, whose every action the medicinal marvel had admired. That sense of wonderment, though not as strong, had once more been stirred up as Collan drew the figure of something shaped like Guardia out of little more than coruscating crimson Ki.
Perhaps somewhat inspired, Azguard watched as the white-haired warrior charged into the fray, entranced by these deeds of ‘heroism’ without fully comprehending what any of it meant. Another sense, perhaps a negative one, seemed to tell it that what was happening was wrong. But did it have the power to stop such a thing? That was a question to which the answer was unknown. All Azguard knew now was that it was dealing with something strong, perhaps incomparably so, but so far had yet to perceive the reality of the situation…
Yes, Azguard just straight up asked Chai if he was a Ninja Edgelord!
