A faint sound of a fluttering duster could just barely be audible. Throughout a Turtle School storage room, doubling as a spare arena, a certain hybrid was spending his time cleaning. From sorting scrolls to simply dusting away the layers of it all, the hybrid found the quiet relatively soothing. Large crates held the majority of excess scrolls, whilst the table near the furthest wall from the entrance held the essential scrolls of the Turtle School. The Kamehameha, the Electric-Shock Surprise, and the Kienzan; each scroll rolled up neatly. The hybrid's palm receding, the duster would spin about swiftly; the dust flicked away. Another palm arose, albeit simply to capture the escaped dust clumps. A dark garbage bag swooped upwards, encapsulating the grey bundles. The blatant rustling would echo briefly. Grasping the bag's ends hastily, the opening the dust entered would be sealed shut. Sighing softly, the hybrid cleaner Celmaru Waterfield moved on from the vacant windowsills. 'Perhaps I should make use of my telepathy and actually call for a Turtle Student. Maybe then they'd do something about this.'Dragging the sealed bag along the mopped flooring, Celmaru plopped them alongside the others. Shuffling across the facility, the hybrid confronted the remaining pieces of Gi for the Turtle School. However, this time came with a rather pleasant surprise. A forest green mass was already folding the remainder of the orange cloth; a seaweed woman. That woman, Phae Waterfield, would simply place them along the shelves as pristine as she could. A hand would be found atop her shoulder, another sight before the hybrid. A bulging belly, that of the pregnant variety, would protrude stubbornly as Celmaru insisted. "You should be resting. You don't have to fold all of this up; you're handling enough as is."
"Oh come now, husband. I'm capable of this much~"
"I'm sure you are, but-"A sudden 'SPROING' was audible from below. An exaggerated protrusion appeared from Phae's stomach; that from a kick. "...Oh my."
"...They're a bit...violent, aren't they?"
"We'll see in due time, Celmaru~!"'Due Time'...that's something the hybrid didn't desire to hear. Clearing his throat to conceal a gulp, Celmaru continued to lightly push his beloved wife away. The sudden kick's effect would recede as swiftly as it came, however not without another seemingly cheesy noise. The hybrid's brows sunk for a moment. "...You're doing that on purpose, aren't you?"
"What ever could you mean~?"
"..."
A purposely ignorant expression was laid out upon the seaweed woman's facial features. A light clap would slap her palms together periodically, a light grin upon her face. Celmaru, however, wasn't exactly amused...if not just yet. Another 'SPROING' would occur...notably within the confines of telepathy. This time it was definite. "You are doing that on purpose - just go on now! Get some rest."
"My, my, someone is being very stubborn today~"
"...."
Sweeping the seaweed woman off her feet, a soft gasp included from those carried included, the two would soon find themselves within the main entryway once again. Standing along the nearby walls of the entrance, the hybrid would await for Phae to submit to slumber.

TOMA THE HEROWhat Toma hadn't expected today seemed to be the only things happening. First, the space-pod, crashing into the side of the mountain he called home. Then there was the great power he felt coming from his very own school -- the turtle school! Toma rushed to the school, fully prepared for a fight. The massive teal-blue wooden front doors were closed, the building unscathed. On the doors, of course, was painted the Turtle Symbol, something Toma had done himself. To let people know that they were in the right place when they came to learn from him.
Descending down into the school, Toma would push open the front doors, his power having been suppressed to long before he had gotten there -- no need to give any potential opponent an advantage by showcasing his fullest power from the get go, right? Keep them guessing -- outwit and outsmart your enemy, two ways to obtain victory. Not the most honorable of things, but when one was fighting for their life, what did it matter?
The wood creaked as Toma stepped into the Dojo. He looked around the sparring arena, his eyes scanning the room for anything misplaced. Nothing had moved, -- in fact, everything looked... clean? He quirked his brow as he took a few more steps into the room, his boots clicking against the bamboo tiles that were green fighting square inside the room.
He continued to look through the room. All the pictures of previous masters -- including his very own Ninjin, still hung upon the wall. The ancient Gi of the bald headed monk who had founded the school still hung in its display case upon the left, and the scrolls for the Kienzan, Kamehameha, and Thunder Shock Surprise were still in their cases, too. Very strange.
"Hmm..." The Turtle Hermit hummed out, as he opened the door to the back room. His Turtle Gi was being worn, of course. He wore it almost constantly, rarely changing into different outfits. Though he had four different Gi's so he was always wearing clean clothes -- he was no savage, after all!
Upon seeing Celmaru and his wife, the seaweed woman known as Phae, Toma would raise an eyebrow, before speaking up. "Uh, excuse me." He'd say, his hand still holding the door open, still standing in the doorway. "Can I help you?"

"Please just rest, Phae."
"You know I'm still perfectly capable of doing work, husband."
"I very much do, however your condition doesn't warrant that much."A different sort of power struggle was beginning to escalate. With the hybrid's arms folded across his chest, he failed to notice the approaching "power". Placing his palms upon the seaweed woman's shoulders, Celmaru would lightly push downwards; simply gesturing towards taking a mere seat. Phae would finally touch the floor's surface, however her knees wouldn't cave in. A firm tug at her lips suggested an oddly kind "screw you, I'm doing what I want", her closed eyes adding to it. The hybrid began to squint at the seaweed woman; she was never this stubborn, or ever this defiant for that matter. Was her pregnancy providing unnecessary effects?
"I'm not moving husband~"
"You will if I apply any more force to your body."
"But you won't do~ it~!"
"..."It was then that the newcomer spoke up. The hybrid attempted to hide his surprise mid-flinch as he spun to meet his gaze. The inquiry of whether or not Toma could assist the pair hung within the air for a moment, the newcomer's shock factor fading swiftly. Clearing his throat awkwardly, Celmaru shifted his gaze to the left before speaking in response.
"We're cleaning. If you aren't a Turtle Student or assisting with the process, I suggest you leave."
A glance at the arrival's uniform suddenly proved the hybrid terribly mistaken. A Turtle insignia was etched proudly upon the orange fabric; as the rest were. A though came to mind, albeit wouldn't be apparent or coherent just yet.
"Hm. My apologies then. Didn't suspect any of you besides Miss Nedrag to actually show."
Once again staring at the arrived "student", the hybrid would stare at Toma intently as a single message would send to the Saiyan. A subtle twitch came across Celmaru's left eye as this attempted to send.
'ABOUT FUCKING TIME ONE OF YOU DID SOMETHING!'
Did a post thing , Toma...Celmaru seems chilled out.

TOMA THE HEROThe mystery man and the seaweed gal seemed to be having quite the heated conversation, it seemed. Toma watched with bated breath, curious as to what might happen next between the dynamic duo of lovers, before Celmaru turned to him. There were a few things that Toma picked up on -- namely that Phae seemed to be pregnant, as well as what her name was. However, she had only referred to him as 'husband', and otherwise didn't do much other than backtalk him.
Toma found the whole situation amusing, really. Ninjin had always been stubborn and strong willed too -- particularly when her biological clock ticked, and when she was pregnant. Though, Toma loved that about her... He supposed he had his Saiyan genes to thank for that -- his mother was the same way, strong willed. As were Kaula and Zucceta. Perhaps that was why? It seemed Saiyans just liked strong willed women.
When Celmaru turned to Toma and spoke in such a disrespectful tone, Toma's face contorted into one of anger. How dare this stranger speak to him that way in his own Dojo?! His brows furrowed as his eyes narrowed, his power level spiking. His muscles bulked and his hair stood on end, his eyes turning teal and his golden power erupting from within him!
Dust would get kicked up inside the room from Toma's explosive power, and it would threaten to knock Phae over if Celmaru stood by and did nothing. Toma was beginning to lose his patience with this stranger, the gale-winds swirling inside the room, causing the very foundation of the building to creak from the stress.
"I'll have you know I'm the master of this Dojo!" Toma spoke in a stern, commanding tone that demanded respect. He would not stand for being disrespected inside his own institution. "And I'll not stand for such impudent, disrespectful behavior! Now I'm going to ask you politely once." Toma stressed, staring down at the half-saiyan on the floor.
"Get. Out. Of my Dojo."

"Oh good! You took it right from me. Thank you very much, good sir!"If there was to be any unintentional sarcasm, the hybrid wouldn't be too sure of it. In all honesty, the hybrid was somewhat grateful that Toma had done so; however he would have still preferred some sort of warning beforehand. Yet, as all tense situations go, one would likely ascend past their own limits one way or another; possibly to intimidate the other party. The hybrid's brow twitched as his nostrils released a huff of air. "I was mostly waiting for one of you to show and take this school back, you know. I had told someone by the name of Miss Nedrag about this, and even...somehow...convinced her I'd try and upkeep it."The complete reality of it all began to set it somewhat. "I actually have little idea how I was able to convince her of that, actually."Celmaru would stare upon the wall for a moment, thinking back to that awkward encounter. It was then that Toma ascended to the classic golden transformation; Super Saiyan. How quaint. Folding his arms across his chest, the hybrid stepped before Phae as the dust and wind buffeted at the two. Two brown brows would furrow as this transpired. "I just finished dusting out this room..."
"Husband, I don't believe its wise to continue agitating him."
"...Hm."Another similar influx of Ki burst forth from the hybrid. A pearly white aura of energy, a classic upward wave of manifested Ki, enveloped the hybrid with ease. Without training weights, Celmaru's Ki would appear just a tad greater. This was for security reasons, clearly. "Thank you for finally stepping up to take what you were once a part of. However I still won't fully excuse the rest of the Turtle students ignoring the school's condition. Please refrain from leaving it as it was just a month or so ago in the future."
"Regardless, I'm not leaving until you can prove to me that you'll actually be able to upkeep this place. I'm not cleaning up this shit again."The hybrid would point to the accumulated bags of...mostly dust clots. A used duster rested before the black bags, minuscule strings of dust, hair, etc. fluttering about its feathers. Most of the bags, meanwhile, would eventually begin to collapse upon themselves; completely unable to support themselves without solid internal stuffing.
"...Seriously I was practically standing on a fine layer of dust in here when I began cleaning."

TOMA THE HEROToma's energy continued to rise as the hybrid continued to be disrespectful and sarcastic. Toma was growing more and more angry by the second, the hybrid seeming to ignore his wifes wise words. It was not the woman that Toma had a issue with, right now. She seemed to have quite the good head on her shoulders -- Toma could respect that. However, he would not tolerate such blatant disrespect inside his own school!
"I don't care what my wife said to you!" Toma would shout in a rage, the whole room beginning to shake due to the two energies colliding against each other. The ground trembled, rocks outside the walls beginning to levitate into the air, the very earth itself fearing what great powers could be clashing against one another.
"You speak of this school as if you're some wise warrior -- some veteran fighter who thinks he has a right to teach new fighters!" Toma began, glaring daggers at Celmaru. "And yet, I've never even felt your energy before! Nor have I seen you anywhere! Not when the Saiyans invaded! Not when the guardian of the Earth lost his life defending innocents on Kanassa! Not when I went to stop a genocidal maniac from blowing up Vegeta!"
"And yet you have the gal, the arrogance, the sheer hypocrisy to claim that you know whats best for this school?! To think that you could lead a new generation of warriors?!" Toma's voice boomed, echoing off the walls almost deafeningly. He had never been so livid before, even when he had transformed into a Super Saiyan for the first time!
"Did it ever once occur to you that maybe, just maybe, The Turtle School was out defending the planet?! Huh!? Have you not been paying attention these last many months?!" Toma stepped closer, gripping Celmaru's shirt by the collar. "My classmate, a man named Articho, lost his life trying to defend a planet in deep space! And he was a Turtle Student! And you think you have a right to judge us for letting the school fall the way it did during these trying times?!"
He'd let go of Celmaru, and step back, taking deep breaths, barely managing to maintain control of himself. He wasn't sure whether to call Bing or Kienzan this intruders head right off!
"You have great power! There is no question about that!" Toma shotued once more. "And what have you done with that power?! You've squandered it! You've watched from the sidelines, doing nothing for this world! And you think you're a warrior?!"
"No! You are no warrior! You, who has wasted their great potential! You're nothing more than a spoiled, ignorant CHILD! NOW GET OUT!"

Oh of all nerves to repeatedly batter into submission; it had to be that of a warrior's. Toma soon began to burst in unadulterated ire, his rage was entirely palpable. The hybrid furrowed his brows, realizing his blunder. This wasn't likely to end well; not at all. Between what may be the rupturing foundations of the school and Toma's sudden confession to his relation with Ninjin, it all began to crumble afterwards. With the Turtle Master's accusation of Celmaru's absence, his composure would begin to unravel. "I don't-"Toma's vicious glares penetrated the hybrid's gaze; silencing him further alongside the following spouts of irritation. The Saiyan Invasion, the supposed incident on Kanassa, and- "Who did wha-"Apparently Planet Vegeta was potentially assaulted by some inane individual. However, it was removed as the flow of insults and enraged questionings continued; even more harshly than it had begun. With the following words from the current Turtle Hermit, Celmaru's palms would soon quiver. The hybrid's arrogance? The hypocrisy? Accusations of 'knowing what's best', and even that he would truly be able to instruct an upcoming generation of aspiring warriors. It was sickening to believe that Toma would spout such tripe without knowing what had occurred prior to this...yet it didn't cease. Celmaru's lips were firmly shut; pursed together promptly. "..."Phae had begun to float backwards at Toma's booming outrage; she was practically stunned upon the sight of this. The hybrid, as the Turtle Master refused to cease his speech, eventually found his forearms quivering as his palms did. Claims of the Turtle School defending other planets and another accusation of Celmaru's supposed lack of attention further advanced the quivering limbs. Both of the hybrid's arms were shaking faintly. Celmaru was then supported by foreign limb; his body uplifted by Toma's arm. "..."An implied boast of another Turtle student's feats were thrown upon the hybrid. A man named Articho and his death. Celmaru's stomach began to take hold of a swirling sensation. The hybrid's heart felt as if it were grasped by a dead, frigid hand of Death. As Celmaru was held above the school's flooring by it's Hermit, his legs began to shiver as his upper limbs did. A cluster of steel-grey clouds began to set in above the Southern Islands. A winter storm may soon occur. Soon, the hybrid was released; yet he wouldn't stand. "..."Celmaru fell promptly onto the inflexible floor. The hybrid was on his knees before the Turtle Master, quivering as his pursed lips contorted into a misshapen figure. The internal figureheads of excess sensations within the warrior further felt as if they descended from immense heights; each with a frozen feeling about them. Was this how it was? The one time Celmaru attempts to try something of worth; insults and accusations abruptly strike him?
"......"
The final declaration of insults and accusations took the final nail in the coffin...and jammed it straight in; puncturing the hybrid in such a way that it wouldn't likely ever be shrugged off and ignored. That figurative nail, the first true insult he's heard in years. For over twenty years, it was 'hybrid this'...'hybrid that', etc. Now Toma attacked and brutalized the one thing that Celmaru still had fully intact; any pride and ability he had as a warrior and as a Saiyan...or what of one he was. It was enough. Far more than enough. An unfamiliar substance accumulated along the hybrid's eyes; a salty, wet substance. Celmaru's vision soon became infuriatingly blurry. A set of grit teeth bared themselves, a pair of brows further furrowing.
"...Who said I was a-anything wise? Who said I k-knew what was right for this d-damned place?!"
A soft rumble echoed among the islands. Droplets descended upon the Earth; both from the clouded sky and the hybrid himself. Celmaru would begin to rise, yet a violent shake would disable his balance periodically. The hybrid couldn't sense a thing around him anymore, not a soul could be felt. A telepathic link was promptly disconnected with an emotional force of regret and sorrow. "Tell t-them...that there so...h-horrendously...WRONG!"A gold surge of energy revealed the Super Saiyan transformation. Celmaru clutched his skull; the golden locks of hair pricking his now sensitive hands. The hybrid still faced the floor, his moistened eyes stinging from the influx of Ki. "I tried to help! I h-had hoped t-to do something for once!"
"And no-"The hybrid sniffled blatantly. "I wasn't t-there for that d-damned i-invasion! I was just some p-pitiful weakling back then! F-Four thousand measly units!" "I don't k-know where Kanassa is! I n-never asked w-where Vegeta is!"The sensation akin to a intrusive brick welled up within the hybrid's throat; his voice further becoming unsteady. "I JUST WANTED TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!!"An unsteady breath, a lengthy exhale combined with another sniffle; the hybrid would be without words for several moments. "I-Its because I'm j-just some...s-some f-filthy bastard h-hybrid, isn't it? THAT'S ALWAYS WHAT IT IS!"The hybrid's palms fell over his eyes. Moisture further accumulated upon the surface of his palms; his fingers still clutching his golden locks of defiant hair. What aura clung to Celmaru's frame flickered and shook wildly. As the pessimism overtook the hybrid's mindset, the memories of Walker and his parents' kindness were overshadowed by humanity's excessively blind loathing. "M-My life is a c-cesspool of hate! The m-majority of m-my family despises me! M-My cousins a-actively target m-me due to m-my m-mixed blood! I-I never try a-anything because I k-know I'd just make it worse! E-Everything is better w-when I'm never involved! EVERY DAMN THING!"
"The ONE t-time I have t-the slightest h-hope of m-making any d-decent d-difference; it always j-just backfires! I-I do this p-planet a FAVOR by L-LEAVING myself out o-of your lives!"
"Celmaru-"
"STAY AWAY! I-I'm only a w-waste of your time-!"Further exhales of violent sorrow followed. Celmaru began to curl up, albeit still standing. The hybrid's arms caved towards his chest, his spine curling downward above his thighs. The seaweed woman, despite what effort she attempted to make, was immediately rejected. Over the past eleven months of practically being stuck to one another; a forceful removal was seemingly in progress. Phae almost appeared hurt by this gesture. "Who s-said I was a-a warrior, too? T-They're the biggest morons I've e-ever heard of!"
"I-I'm just a f-filthy waste of H-Human waste; I was n-never a warrior. I've a-always been an i-impossibly blind moron! You're e-exactly right! I am just an IGNORANT CHILD!"The hybrid's tone turned sour by the end. Thousands of four doubts and thoughts swirled about within his cranium; supporting his pessimistic meltdown. Celmaru, however, finally forced his gaze towards Toma's glare. Scarlet eyes and wet cheeks would await him as Celmaru did so. The fire that once resided inside the hybrid's eyes were extinguished; a fragile, regretful man's sight stared upon the enraged Turtle Master. "T-This was the o-only thing I e-ever wanted to d-do for this planet. N-Nothing they did warranted a-anything; IT WAS ALL FOR HER ANYWAY!"Celmaru thrust a pointed index finger towards Phae, his other palm clenching into a quivering fist. "I wanted her to be alive and healthy! Phae is the only thing I care to admit that I have left! The one that had shown me legitimate love and compassion after twenty two years of hell and torture! It was her! The mistakes I made as a teenager I thought had risked the Earth! That was a lie and moronic deception through some asshole's false power! The mistakes I made as a child ruined my life and damned me to an emotional death for the majority of my life thus far! One mistake r-ruined my c-childhood as a whole! MY OWN BIRTH WAS A MISTAKE!!"Vengeful sparks of bio-electricity arced along the hybrid's limbs. Celmaru shut his eyes for a mere moment; the force of his sight blurring beyond comprehension. "I'm either some f-filthy halfbreed Human, or some tainted Saiyan! I'm only powerful because I wanted Phae to stay SAFE AND ALIVE! YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PREVENT THAT!"
"I've only e-ever felt safe in her arms; never anywhere else, never otherwise. I'm practically indebted to her; I'm upholding what I can to repay her for her eternal kindness! For what worth I am as the filthy heap of bile of this world, I'll only say that I only hoped TO TRY AND HELP!"Phae appeared visibly mortified. Not once has her husband acted as such; not as a newly ascended Super Saiyan, as an angry, expecting Father, or even before her intervention upon his life. Toma had struck a far greater nerve than he might have realized. "If you want me to leave, then fine! I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE! I was never a warrior, a protector, anything! I wanted this planet safe because Phae lives on it! There's no other reason for why I haven't committed GENOCIDE yet; ONLY HER...AND IT ALWAYS WILL BE HER!"

TOMA THE HEROWell, it appeared Toma had struck quite the nerve with the hybrid. Toma crossed his arms, showing no fear or sadness in his stance. No, his face stayed as if made of stone, unflinching and unchanging, hiding his real emotions. He felt sorry for the hybrid if what the hybrid had said was indeed true, though to wallow in ones weariness would only bring destruction upon them.
"I do not believe the birth of anyone is ever a mistake." Toma said calmly, staring the hybrid in the yes. "And no, I do not care about your hybrid. My own children are hybrid Saiyans. As is my wife." He spoke, notting to reaffirm his belief. After all, if he rejected Celmaru for his race, then what would that mean for his own kids? No, he couldn't do that. "It is unfortunate to hear about your family, though. I can understand that sentiment. My own sister tried to kill me once, too..."
He looked down at his hand, staying silent for a moment. "Allow me to tell you a story. A few years ago, I lived on a planet called Sylor. Indeed, I'm not an Earth Native, nor am I from Vegeta. I grew up on Sylor, was adopted by it's species, and raised by them. It was a good life, a happy life... until I saw the full moon. I reigned hell like nothing before, and took my own families life with my own hands, granted I wasn't in control of myself at the time... but I still regret it. And for a while, I too was lost, like you. Until I found Ninjin. She helped me find my way and eventually we married." He said, raising his hand up, placing it on Celmaru's shoulder. "You're strong. And you're not a waste. Nobody is. Life is precious, and you have the power to make a difference. You just need guidance. Will you allow me to assist you by helping you work through your problems?"
