"That was simply a sweeping generalization which... In hindsight was probably not the best thing to open on, no." Defrosch raised a hand in an apologetic gesture with a slight bow. "Sorry if it felt like a personal attack. Just keep in mind I don't know about anything you've personally discussed with Koldar, so I might be missing some context." Regardless, someone did or said something stupid that had suddenly caused a stampede for the exits... Before he could parse some information from the situation, Defrosch also recoiled in disgust as Vi-Poi implied that he was part of the Arcosian Empire, much less having Koldar as his senior officer. "My commander? Ew, ew- no- yuck!" The Arcosian hero shuddered, waving his hands in front of his face to chase away the thought. "No way dude, nuh-uh, never been a part of the AE, never will be. Bleh!" He made one last uncomfortable groan, while still considering Vi-Poi's statement about Koldar making bad moves when he doesn't get what he wants...
The fact of the matter is... Defrosch could very much vouch for that, considering he witnessed Koldar almost going completely ballistic on a random bystander's house in order to 'retrieve' a recruit that went off on his own.
Now, he was severely regretting coming in late. Koldar had managed to not only piss off Vi-Poi, but also Bing! From what Defrosch had seen of Vi-Poi he seemed more like a level-headed kind of guy, with very goofball qualities deep down, so him getting this grumpy was a big red flag. Then there was Bing. Perhaps one of the most patient, kind and saintly people Defrosch ever knew... Yet there he was, absolutely livid, trying with all of his might to stick to his guns. 'Just what did Koldar do!?' The young Arcosian blinked, completely bewildered and very much concerned about what might happen next.
All of his concern and confusion flew out of the hangar's exit when he heard that Koldar brought up Realigner Red. Defrosch didn't know much about that topic, but what he figured out from passing conversation a long while back was that this was a virus. A virus that stole Vi-Poi's body from him, using it to further its own vile agenda.
Much like Zucceta once lost hope-- and only having recently regained it-- Vi-Poi no doubt wrestled with some kind of regret for being used like a robotic puppet to cause harm to those he cared for and literally wipe an entire world from the galactic map, no wonder he was so pissed off!
"You.. did.. W̸̷͞H͢A̸̢T̵͘?!" Defrosch's gaze snapped violently onto Koldar as an angry hissing noise came from within him. He looked like he was about to hurl, and it wasn't because of he juice-box! Bing could potentially recognize this level of rage from a while back, and it was just as nasty as before. "Don't. Insult. My. Friends. That was the Ó̷̀N̴E҉̴ thing I told you N̸̡͡O͡͞T̴̡̡ to do, and you DO IT A̴͘͘G̸̶̢͘͠Ą̸̡͟͡Į̸̶́͢Ǹ̢͝?̢́͘͟!̴̶̷̛̕!?" Steam was now rising from the teal-domed Arcosian's head, the rest of his body followed suit though not with the same intensity. "ARE YOU LITERALLY ̴̸̛͜I̸̴͜͞N̡͜҉C̸̸Á̵̡̛͢P͏̷͞A̵̸͜͝B̨̛͟͡L̢̛̀͟E҉̵̢͞ OF GOING SOMEWHERE AND NOT P͠IS̨ŞIN̕G̷ EV̵ÉRYON͢E ̸OFF̨, YOU INCONSIDERATE JACKASS?! YOU DON'T NEGOTIATE WITH PEOPLE BY GUILT TRIPPING THEM! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY RAN AWAY FROM ARCOSE, ALMOST EVERYONE THERE IS JUST LIKE YOU, JUST LIKE MY FATHER, WITHOUT A SINGLE SHRED OF SELF AWARENESS, REFUSING TO REALIZE THAT MAYBE SOMETIMES WE'RE THE ONES THAT ARE WRONG. SWISS FUCKING CHEESE, KAIO-DAMNIT!" Without even a flash of light, Defrosch contorted into his True Form, his eyes alone were ablaze with a firey teal ki. "The attack on Arcose was about revenge. You're a history buff far more than I am, aren't you?! That attack wasn't unprovoked. Was it terrible? Of course it was! The problem here is you speak as though our people are faultless and innocent. We aren't. You can stop a war before it even starts if you realize retaliation will only cause the cycle to continue. That is, unless you break it."
Defrosch held the side of his head for a moment as he slowly moved to catch up with Bing. Passing Koldar, his tone changed, but only slightly. He held back a tonne of vitriol, but his covertly compassionate nature was still there somewhere behind all of that. "You can't do that as you are right now." Staring at the floor, Defrosch clenched his fists tightly. "Neither can I... As much as I wish that I could." Looking forward once again he gave Koldar one last moment of attention. "Just go, and get medical attention ASAP."
With that done, he would follow the human out.
