As the tournament began, Bing found he was to be one of the first contestants to battle. He was matched up against someone known as Chai. He could have sworn he'd seen the goat man before somewhere, but couldn't quite place where they'd met. The Former Guardian stepped onto the arena, his eyes falling onto the crowd in the stands. They were waiting anxiously for the match to start. Out of the crowd of cheers, Bing caught just a few words. "oh my gosh, is that THE Serpent Master?""No way! His hairs all wrong, and his outfits the wrong shade of green! Besides, If he were the Serpent Master, there'd be paparazzi everywhere."Bing sighed, fists resting on his hips as he waited. "I hope this Chai guy doesn't keep me waiting too long. I'm kind of excited to get this match started." Chai let's try to keep this fast-paced!

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
Chai paced in the now empty waiting room of the tournament hall, sweat dripping down his forehead. Of everyone he could possibly be matched with, of everyone that could possibly join this goddamned tournament, in the very first round... He got paired with his worst nightmare. Bing Gan. That name was cursed in his universe. Slumping against the wall with a sigh, Chai sat on the ground, running a hand across his currently unmasked face. He knew that man's strength damn well, and knew he stood no chance in this fight... Should he just forfeit the match?...
No. No matter what universe, the second leader of the Crimson Striker Rebellion wasn't going to give in to their greatest foe! Part of Chai clung to the teeny tiny hope that this was some twisted coincidence and there was a different person with the same name! There were a lot of people on Earth, surely there were more people with the names Chai and Bing... But, the goat turned even whiter somehow when he could audibly make out some of the cheering outside. Much to the universal warrior's dismay, he made out the audible words "serpent master" in the crowd's cheers. 'Ah, crapbaskets.' The goat continued to stall, something he was really, really good at doing with this guy for some reason, as evidenced by his presence in this universe in the first place. Standing up with his heart pounding in his chest, as if it were trying to rip itself out to escape the events that would soon unfold, The scarred goat slowly closed his single eye, sucking in his breath. He was just going to do it and get it over with. He'd take the man's surprising charisma and demeaning comments like he did before without faltering this time.
Pulling his bandanna over his muzzle, Chai took slow steps towards the entrance to the arena, stopping just inches from the door. His form trembled, and the goat found himself holding back tears. 'Relax, this is just a tournament where killing is not allowed, you'll be fine...' Chai tried to calm himself down, but ended up wiping away some newly formed droplets from his eyes. Kais, he was so scared right now. Bouncing in place a little and catching his breath, the goat just closed his eyes and began to walk out to the arena, some of the crowd's cheers and comments audible to his ever so sensitive ears.
"Wowie! That tall dude is Chai?!"
"What the heck happened his eye?! I-it's completely gone!"
'You'd better not fucking die on me here, partner!!'
Chai was snapped out of his thoughts at the last voice, turning to look at the crowd, spotting a hopping sword sitting in the front row, the seats around him empty as some of the bystanders stared at the odd sight of a sentient sword in the crowd. Chai continued to walk up to the stage, but had his eyes on his sword partner. 'G-Guardia!' The sword stared at his partner, then glanced over to his friend's opponent. Shaking his hilt, the sword responded in a dire, concerned, and somewhat frantic tone. 'J-Just give me a holler if you're in danger! If he breaks the no-killing rule, we break the no weapon rule!' Chai nodded, turning his head back to the arena. Chai was scared, sure, but the leader of the rebellion was still resolute. He was not going to die. Chai already knew he would loose- but he had to live for another day. For Guardia, Collan, Fleece, Kazar, Kaula, EGG, and even Hinawa... Everyone's hopes and dreams were pinned on the goat, and they still were now, despite their different universes. He would come back and save everyone!
Hopping up to the other side of the arena, Chai ever so hesitantly locked his eyes onto his foe. Yup, same face, same hair, but different clothing... Chai was so fucked right now, and he knew it. Locking his senses onto the alternate version of his longtime, the goat doubted his senses for a moment. Sure, Bing's Ki was MUCH weaker than Chai remembered, but... it felt different. President Bing's Ki felt like some kind of malevolent void, while this Bing's ki was comparable to a squeaky clean beach ball... Blinking a few times with widened eyes, the goat shook his head, quickly focusing on the imminent fight with this parallel version of his worst enemy. He wasn't sure what to think of this different feeling coming from the man- but Chai was NOT going to fall for this if it was some kind of tease. Determined eyes with suppressed terror shifting to his familiar foe, Chai stood tall, not shifting into his battle stance quite yet. What was he supposed to say? Good luck? Chai couldn't bring himself to be buddy-buddy with his worst enemy... Yet, the goat warrior spoke with a shrug, his tone stoic, yet ever so slightly... shaky? "W-well, may the best man win." Ha. If only things were so easy.

As the strange goat man stepped onto the stage, Bing felt a strange chill run down his spine. This boy was familiar somehow, eerily familiar in fact. What was it about him that made him feel this way? The goat Zoanthrope wasn't exactly powerful, but his Ki felt... Determined. The crowd seemed to shift, going from cheers to incorporating small pockets of murmuring. Some of the spectators seemed a bit put-off by Chai's appearance, something Bing was decidedly unfazed by. The Z-Leader bowed respectfully, smiling as he returned to a standing position. "Hey there! It's a pleasure to meet you Chai. I'm hoping we can have a good match."In the next moment, the massive gong was struck, signifying the start of the match. Bing settled into the Serpent Style stance, a smirk on his face as he taunted his foe. "You look tough, but let's see if your skill matches your appearance."Though he was letting quite a bit of power flow freely, he decided that the best option was to bottle a bit more Ki up for the time being. He wanted the opponent to think they were even; hopefully his ruse would work for the time being.

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
In another world, Chai and Bing had indeed met before. While his foe only mildly recognized the goat, Chai (mostly) knew what was up. Needless to say, their interactions back in Chai's universe were... unpleasant. Chai shuddered for a moment, thinking of what would of happened if the president managed to get his hands on the now busted universe-hopper, which was tucked away snugly in it's capsule in Chai's bag at the moment. One Bing was more than enough for the goat, thank you very much.
The goat tilted his head for a moment, staring at the man like he was crazy for a moment. What?! Pleasure to meet you?! Good match?! A god damn bow?! His universe's president would never in a thousand years say... Chai suddenly seemed to just be... loading for awhile, his blinking eyes fixed on nothing in particular. It was like when a cat stared at some invisible thing in a room. Not to mention the crowd set the goat on edge. As a child, he always loathed presenting to the class in school, adding another repressed memory to the pile. Uncertainty and stress filled the goat's mind as he stared off into the crowd for a moment with his single eye. No! He had to fight! Shaking his head, Chai tried to ignore the murmuring crowd around him. Chai was not ready for this. Why on earth did he sign up for a tournament with no prize in the first place, aside from training to fix his home universe? Chai wasn't sure if he was tough like Bing assumed, but the fighter uncrossed his arms, letting them hang limp at his sides, speaking once more in that stoic yet uncertain tone, with a hint of suppressed confusion. "Well, I guess we could say the same about you..."
This would be a hard fight without Guardia's offensive edge, Chai was a defensive wall while his sword dished out the damage. Putting a hand on his empty sword sheath for a moment, the goat raised his arms before lowering them to his sides, multicolored ki flaring from the palms of his hands while he split his legs apart somewhat. Chai didn't make a move to attack yet, instead letting his ki burst out and flare. The goat was preparing something, that was for sure. If he could manage to charge up his Aurora Armor to tank some hits while attacking, he'd be golden until Bing stopped toying with him. Chai narrowed his eyes as his longtime foe's ki dropped to a lower level nearly matching Chai's own power, causing the goat to let out a quick huff from his nostrils. He knew Bing's true power- if this guy was truly a parallel version of Universe Five's President, Chai stood no chance in this battle. Guardia could only watch on, confused and anxious about the unfolding events. Blinking a few times, Guardia contacted his partner with his telepathy once more to hear the stoic fighter's suppressed thoughts.
'...Are you okay, partner?'

Bing watched curiously as Chai's energy began to rise. His body was coated in a strange, mutli-colored glow. Was this some sort of defensive technique, or was it an offensive skill in disguise? There was no way to tell just yet, so Bing decided to test the waters just a bit. The Former Guardian stepped forwards, eyes narrowing as he focused on Chai's Ki. "Nice colors. You'd probably do well at a theme park or something." He grinned at the boy happily, before finally making his move. He rushed forwards, fist pulled back as he charged. With a mighty burst of Ki he flung his fist towards Chai! It rocketed towards him with immense force, but just before it made contact, the fist stopped dead in its tracks. With the faintest of motions, Bing inched his fist forwards, using a fraction of a fraction of his power to land this blow. Should the strike hit, Chai's barrier would more than likely shatter to pieces.

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
Chai narrowed his eyes with hostility right back at Bing. His heart hammered in his chest when the parallel version of the president made his next comment, whilst his heart was demanding OUT of this mess, NOW. Chai wasn't some kind of jester in a theme park! He was a hardened warrior that had seen hell on Earth, watched as his friends perished, and was all powerless to stop it. And he still was powerless. Powerless to help anyone, to save his world, to fight Bing... What was he even doing here, bothering with this? And why was this Bing so goddamn different from his universe's Bing? Was he just messing with Chai- waiting for him to lower his guard, then reveal his true colors? Slipping into a proper defensive stance, Chai would not take any chances in this fight. He just had to stall- something he was pretty damn experienced at doing now.
Still waiting as his Aurora Armor began to charge to higher levels, Chai's head snapped back, but his eyes still narrowed and resolute when his opponent charged him. Chai was raising his paw to block the punch, until something in the back of his head clicked...
...And just for a moment, just a mere, horrid moment, the goat's eyes would widen with sheer terror as a false apparition of his world's president flashed in Bing's place. Hastily glancing around, Chai found the arena around him gone, replaced with the collapsing underground base of the Crimson Striker Rebellion. What was happening to him...? He could so audibly hear the screams of his dying comrades, Hinawa's final plea echoing in his ears, the sound of Defrosch's space pods crashing into the ground, the sky darkening as the whirring of the universe-hopper stirring to life echoed around the area... Chai glanced back towards the mirage of President Bing, letting out a rushed gasp as the punch almost made contact with his face, but the goat managed to raise his arms in an "X" shape to block the attack somewhat.
The goat was sent skidding back by the attack, but he stopped several feet from the edge of the arena. His single eye shut tight in apprehension, Chai opened his eye slowly, lowering his arms to his sides once more. His body was coated in a rainbow light, which quickly cracked and shattered after the punch laded. Shaking his arm a little, Chai only now noted the searing pain in his forearms used to block the seemingly puny punch. Glancing around rather confused, Chai noted his surroundings had changed back to the tournament arena. Was that some kind of sick living nightmare just now? No. He had to move on for now. Like last time, Chai knew this was a pointless battle. Like last time, he would not give in until his final breath. And like last time, the universal warrior was facing his greatest foe, one on one.
"...This can't end like last time." Chai spoke to himself more than anyone in a shaken tone, with his rather hushed voice barely audible to his opponent with the cheers of the crowd in the background. Looking down at the ground below him, Chai watched as it briefly flashed to the wet floors of the Rebellion Base once more, before fading back to the white tiles of the arena. Raising his masked muzzle and throwing an arm back, the goat would fire a barrage of white spheres of Ki from the palm of his hand, leaping forward to gain some ground away from the edge of the arena!
Guardia watched from the stands, leaning over the wall dividing him from the arena. He could totally go out there and help Chai, right now. But something was stopping him. Was it Chai's determination to stop Bing on his own? Or his own doubt and fear of hindering his partner? Guardia felt sick to his stomach, watching the man that did so much damage to his partner's spirit square off against him once more. Guardia was quick to pick up on Chai's little comment about "last time", causing his eye to widen as he contacted his partner once more. 'Chai! Don't you dare snap! Not in front of all these people, and him!' Chai didn't respond, but his head quickly snapped up as the goat briefly eyed his partner in the crowd, giving him a quick nod before switching his attention back to the fated fight at hand...

It seemed Bing's punch had taken Chai by surprise. As the fist landed, the goat-man skidded backwards, his multi-colored armor shattering in the process. Bing smirked. It seemed the goat was taking the damage better than he expected. Maybe this fight would gain the Former Guardian a new student if things went well. As he prepared for Chai's counter-attack, he was surprised to find the goat was still reeling... Or so Bing thought. The goat seemed completely stunned, but not by Bing's attack; something else was distracting the zoanthrope. Something about Bing himself, it seemed. The Serpent Master raised his brow curiously. Chai mumbled something about this time being different. Had they really met before? Bing frowned. "Hey, I'm really sorry but... Have we met before? You said something about this time being different? I think you might be mistaking me for someone else, but if you aren't, maybe you could uh... Refresh my memory or something?"Without a moments notice, the goat fired a barrage of Ki attacks towards Bing! The Human took a few steps back, batting the orbs skyward as they approached. His frown turned to a pleased smile. "You've got excellent Ki Control for such a young warrior!... I mean, you are young, right? Can't really tell with the mask and goofy eyepatch."As Chai approached, Bing would leap forwards, aiming to land behind the goat. Should he succeed, he'd extend his right leg, attempting to kick Chai in the back. Though it'd have quite a bit of force behind it, the attack wouldn't cause too much harm.

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
Oh fuck. Bing was onto Chai now. Questioning on if the goat and he had met before, Chai's single eye widened. He was in full panic mode now. "Uh..! W-well, you see... I--" Chai's head snapped up as Guardia once again contacted the goat with his telepathy, sounding quite livid. 'Chai!! What are you thinking?!' Looking at nothing in particular now, Chai spoke telapathically back to Guardia, whom was becoming more and more tempted to just fly in and slit both of the fighters' throats right now. Chai's tone was uncertain, panicked, and rushed in response. He had no idea what he was supposed to do anymore... 'I don't know! He's different!' Fuming, Guardia bounced a little in his seat, some people backing away from the sentient sword's blade. 'What?! You expect me to believe that the SAME goddamned person that put you and I through so much suffering is a saint or something here!?'
Chai's expression sunk a little while he and Guardia spoke, the goat not making any moves to attack, and staying eerily quiet while he and his partner spoke on the brain-skype. Shaking his head, Chai's memories quickly drifted back to their great escape from Universe Five. 'Okay, okay. We're getting a little heated here. Let's take a moment to calm down, Guardia. We don't want a repeat of what happened back when we escaped.' Guardia had snapped at Chai when they were running, but the sword quickly turned to desperation and regret when Chai's eye was pulled out right in front of Guardia. The goat's scream of pain as he danced with death was something the sword would never forget. Going back down memory lane himself, Guardia closed his eye, calming down somewhat. '...Alright, partner.'
The subject was quick to change, much to Chai's pleasure. Blinking a few times with a somewhat confused and shocked expression, Chai put a hand to his chin and narrowed his eyes, trying to pinpoint his own age. He stopped having birthdays around the time he joined the Crimson Strikers- the goat completely forgot when he was even born! He'd just work his ass of as usual on that lost special day he used to spend with his family. Still in thought, Chai spoke once more in an uncertain tone. "I-I am twenty-five, give or take a few years.... I think?... Hm." Closing his single eye in thought for a moment, Chai held his ground when his foe's ki rapidly approached, causing Chai to turn around and extend out a hand, aiming to catch Bing's foot before it could hit him. Should Chai succeed with his initial grapple, the goat's arm would recoil back a little from the force of the attack before he opened his single eye once more. "Not happening." The would speak bluntly if he managed to block the attack, some ki charging up in the hand he was hanging onto Bing's foot with before firing a blast of energy, aiming to send the fellow fighter flying back somewhat to put some distance between them once more.
Chai let out a quick huff, letting his arms hang at his sides. The goat was out of his battle stance, and just seemed to be thinking about something now. Clenching his paws into fists, the eyepatched goat spoke with a closed eye. "I know you're holding back heaps of your power. You could end this with a single punch if you so wished." Chai recalled the immense, malevolent power he came face to face with during his final escape from Universe Five. These two were the same people, but that different feeling from this Bing's ki was something Chai was still questioning. Opening his single eye again, the goat finally brought fourth a question he needed answered. "So why, pray tell, are you still toying with me?"
A quick sigh from Guardia echoed in Chai's mind. Eyes darting over to his sword buddy for a moment, the sword had visibly stopped bouncing around in anger, now staring at Chai was an uncertain expression. Speaking to his partner telepathically, Chai had to make sure that Guardia was doing fine.
'...You cool now, Guardia?'
'...I don't know.' 'Do you remember what Collan said before? You know, about personalities being different from universe to universe?' '...' 'I don't know if Bing is genuine or not here. But we'll find out soon enough, I suppose.'
Chai took a few steps back, some ki flaring in his hands once more, readying for another blast in case Bing tried to rush him again. Shaking his head, the goat spoke in his usual stoic tune, with a hit of doubt. His words were quite cryptic, but the goat began to make some... implications. "You are different from what I remember. This entire world is different." Chai was happy at heart that this world was seemingly in an era of peace. They had the dream world Chai worked so hard to achieve, and to no avail. He was still here. But his dear friends back home were not. Shaking his head, the goat's tune became somewhat more overwhelmed and glum. "Yet, part of me hopes that..." A little sliver of Chai hoped that this Bing had a happy end in the universe. Something different happened. Something set these two people with the same names apart. Shaking his head, Chai spoke with a shrug, taking a few steps back as Ki still flared in his paws.
The warrior from another world looked towards this alternate version of his greatest foe, his single visible eye tired and uncertain. "Look. I'm done hiding. I really don't want to bottle up anything anymore." Chai had kept mostly everything to himself ever since he arrived here in Universe Seven. Looking towards the murmuring crowd and his dear partner in the flock of spectators, Chai paused for a moment, his guard lowered while he was in thought. This fight was really taking a toll on the goat's emotions. "I just... really don't want to talk about the details. Not yet, and not in front of all these people, anyway. Some things are best kept out of public eyes." Sighing, the goat concluded his little rant, raising his guard once more, slipping his legs into a proper fighting stance. "It's probably not as mysterious and cryptic as I'm probably making this sound... I'm likely exactly what you think I am."

"?!"Bing's brows raised in surprise as he felt the furry grip of a hand on his foot. He stared down at Chai, a mixture of surprise and excitement in his eyes. This guy was better than he thought! Heat began rising in Chai's hand, as a sudden bolt of Ki zapped the Former Guardian in his ankle! The blast sent Bing skyward, but he quickly caught himself. The Serpent Master somersaulted through the air, landing gracefully on the edge of the tiled arena. As he landed, he felt a throbbing pain in his foot, causing him to yelp like a surprised dog. He hopped on one foot, shouting about the pain in a goofy manner. After the comedy act ended, Bing chuckled. He played up the pain a bit, but it really did hurt. Nothing wrong with making your opponent feel good about themselves, right? His smile slowly faded as Chai spoke, revealing that he was well aware of the fact that Bing was holding back. "It was that obvious huh? I thought I was getting better at acting."He took a deep breath, his Chi unbottling itself as the wind whipped around him. The Guardian's eyes shot open, grey pupils flashing a dull white as his power swelled to its fullest. His aura burned to life around him as he gave a shout, the ghostly white of his Ki blending in with the tiles. As his power climbed, the wind around him became intense. The hats of spectators were blown off, and a woman with an umbrella was swept away by the nearly gale force speeds. The winds finally began dying down as Bing reached his peak. It was some truly immense power. Chai would probably have sensed similarly radical energy from the Kaula of his universe. "This is the kind of power that can topple even the might of a Super Saiyan. It's immense, but you need to learn to control it. I'm testing myself, to see how well I can control my strength." Bing pointed at Chai, electric sparks dancing across his finger as he spoke. "But I'm also testing you. I can sense insane power waiting inside you. Like most strength that powerful, it needs a reason to burst out! I'm trying to give you that reason, but I didn't want this to end before that."Chai spoke in cryptic terms, mentioning different worlds before quickly dismissing the entire conversation. The Zoanthrope wanted to continue this conversation after the match was over. "Fine by me," he said, grinning. "Let's have a good match then! I'll try to give you a proper fight instead of holding back, if you want."The Former Kami rushed forwards, fist thrown forwards for a left hook! Should the strike land, he'd follow it up with a quick sweeping kick to knock Chai off his feet, before finally trying to grab the Goat by the tail and fling him skyward!

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
Chai quickly slipped back into his stance after putting some distance between himself and Bing, not taking any time to make any taunts or pat himself on his back for his little victory of knocking his foe away. He was NOT going to make the same mistakes as last time, no sir. Chai just hoped he could use his rather limited knowledge of his foe's fighting style to his advantage... But what shocked Chai and made him lower his guard ever so slightly was how his foe reacted to being blasted in the foot. Blinking with his mouth open below his bandanna, tilting his head in confusion as his once terrifying foe that sent so much terror across Chai's world... was bouncing around and holding his foot in pain.... What? Chai's train of thought was interrupted by Guardia once more, the sword audibly holding back laughter as his form vibrated a little in the bleachers. 'PFffhFFfhttt-' Chai didn't slip out of his stance or take his perplexed glance off of Bing, but he telepathically responded to his partner nonetheless. 'Are you okay, Guardia?' Calming down a little while still holding back laughter and even some tears, the sword shook his form a little, speaking in a rather shocked but entertained tone as he held back a hearty laugh. 'Never. Never ever in the millenniums I have been alive... Did I ever think I would see something as freakish and hysterical as this coming from the same person that...!' Chai blinked a few times as he managed to draw his attention away from the odd sight in front of him and glancing off to the side in thought. Guardia seemed persistent on the fact that this Bing and their universe's Bing were one in the same... 'W-well, uh...'
'Ahahaha!!! This is grand!... Okay, I think you win, Chai. I just can't imagine our Bing doing this!' Chai gave a quick fist pump, narrowing his one eye at his partner before speaking back telepathically in a rather blunt, but victorious tune. '...Chai- one. Guardia- zero.' Guardia was quick to snap back with a narrowed eye. 'Hey!'
After that little life changer and Chai inquiring why the not-ruler-of-the-galaxy was still toying with him, his opponent finally decided to power up. Chai stood his ground, despite being blown back a little as well. His exposed toes gripping the ground as the goat stood tall while the crowd gasped, Chai merely crossed his arms, gesturing one hand towards Bing once he was finished. "Well, there it is." Taking a moment to sense his opponent's powered-up state, Chai found his strength comparable to that of Kaula in her first Super Saiyan form. He frowned in sorrow for a moment, remembering their first leader... But still, this was not much compared to the strength saw in his world's president. "...Hm? Is that it?" Chai questioned when his foe was done powering up.
Listening while tapping his foot on the ground with crossed arms, Chai merely nodded when Bing spoke of wanting to control his strength a little better, but raised his brow when his opponent said that there was potential within Chai as well. Really? There were a handful of times where Chai had persevered with a power increase back in his universe, using some strange sudden surge of strength to pull his allies out of tight situations. But after that boost faded, he was always sent to emergency care in the rebellion base, and was out of commission for awhile with their rather poorly funded medical services... Tossing those painful memories aside, the goat responded with a shrug. "Well, I've had a handful of times where... something popped up, for sure. It's just... draining, when it does happen."
Narrowing his eyes with a faint smirk beneath his bandanna, Chai was well aware that this was most likely not Bing's full power- there was a lot more punch in President Bing's ki, for sure. shaking his head, the goat made some more of his cryptic knowledge known. "But come on. I know there's more to 'ya. Enough to fight with a Super Saiyan Two, correct?" Chai spoke, voicing his awareness of the ascended form of the super saiyan he had seen Kaula use, and die with during her final fight with the president. Guardia watched from afar, blinking in surprise. That wind had nearly sent him flying right into the poor soul behind him- what more could there even be TO power up? Contacting Chai once more, the sword spoke in a rather shocked tone.
'He's still holding back?'
'Seems so. Last time it was like... four or five times as much as this? It's hard to put numbers on power without one of those Scouters.' 'Wowza. You scared?'
'Kind of. Being outmatched by the millions ain't easy, but I'm used to it.'
While the partners from a different world were conversing, Chai was caught off-guard when Bing quickly rushed him, delivering a left-hook right in Chai's noggin! The goat quickly retaliated, aiming to briefly use some spare time inbetween his foe's blows to lean down and deliver a horned headbutt right into Bing's stomach, but whatever happened, the goat was most likely quickly knocked off his feet, clutched by the tail, and thrown into the skies above! Closing his eyes in apprehension for a moment before looking around to see the clouds below him, the goat sighed, crossing his arms and legs during the rather lengthy fall down without the ability to fly. Contacting Guardia on the way down, the two partners conversed for a short while.
'So, uh, while things have calmed down, can I get your two cents on this, G?'
'Well, I can't sense ki, partner, but something's fucky.' 'Alrighty, detective.'
'In all seriousness, OUR Bing wouldn't do any of this! I'm still concerned that this is all one big charade to gain our trust, sure, but this is just... confusing. What was different that caused this in this universe?' 'Good question.'
'Nonetheless, I don't think telling him of all people is a wise choice! Until I have a stern word with him myself, don't expect me to be on board with this!' 'Okay, okay, just don't go getting all upset or something.'
'Tch! Me?! Upset?! I'm the most level-headed demon you'll ever meet!' '...Mm-hmm, now let me focus back on the fight now.'
'Alright, but if he tries anything funky, I WILL slit his throat!' 'I can handle myself, G.'
'You handle yourself about as well as I handle myself when I was silent.' 'And that, my friend, is why we are partners.'
'...Touché." Chai quickly moved his form as the ground approached to face downwards like a bullet, Chai extended his hands forward, firing two powerful blasts of ki at the ground to give him a little upward momentum to cushion the landing. The arena ground cracked a little from the force of Chai's black and the power of his landing, but the zoan fighter appeared to be mostly unharmed, aside from that throbbing pain in his ever so sensitive tail and a new faint bruise appearing where Bing had punched him. Tapping the toes of his foot on the ground for a moment, the goat cocked his head back, flaring his ki once more. It was best to prepare one of his barriers in advance- his opponent hadn't used any ki attacks yet, and Chai wanted to be prepared. "Nice shot." The goat briefly spoke in a stoic and blunt tune, raising his arms up and backwards as ki formed in his palms, charging slowly.

The Goat seemed to know more than he let on. He was more than aware that the Serpent Master had more power stored in him. Perhaps they really had met before. Bing couldn't help but smirk at the Zoanthrope. "You're gonna have to do a lot to get me to show the rest of my power. This is more than enough for now."Bing's attack was a success, it seemed, though in the process he'd received a small bop in the gut from Chai's horned headbutt. It wasn't any major pain, but it was enough to sting. The Former Guardian prepared for a counter-attack from above, but none came. In fact, the goat seemed to be taking his sweet time in his descent! "This fight just keeps getting stranger and stranger," he muttered as he stared upwards. Eventually, Chai had found his way down, inciting a small bit of cheering from the group of spectators closest to Guardia. The public was definitely warming up to Chai now, especially since he was able to survive an attack from someone who just moments earlier essentially caused a tornado to form in the ring. Of course, there were a few cheering for Bing as well, but it felt like the odds were in the goats favor. "Looks like you're getting a fanbase. You signing autographs?"The goat began charging his Ki once more; another barrier it seemed. It was starting to feel like Chai was a one-trick pony. Bing pondered for a moment. Perhaps he should take things just a bit more seriously. It might help Chai to unlock his full might quicker. "Alright, I guess it's time for me to end this." The Martial Artist lowered his center of gravity, hands cupping in front of his chest. He took a deep breath, and an orb of emerald Ki formed between his palms. The energy crackled in his hands as it expanded, forcing him to part his hands just a bit. "It's been a while since I've used this technique. It's something my father taught me."The crowd fell silent as the energy in his hands reached its maximum. It was time to strike! "FEEL MY STING!!!"The Serpent Master thrust his hands forwards, the energy in his palms unfurling towards Chai like a cork-screw. It twisted through the air, hissing wildly as it bore down on Chai's charging Ki Barrier. If the Goat didn't act fast, there was a good chance his goose would be cooked quite thoroughly.

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
Chai narrowed his eyes when Bing said that the goat needed to do a little more to make him use his full power. Sure, his foe was trying to contol his own power better and wanted to see exactly what Chai had to offer in battle, but the goat found himself wondering, why him? Chai didn't think he himself was anything special. There were stronger and more capable foes to fight against in this tournament- the goat warrior was just a stepping stone to the stronger opponents. After being thrown up, chatting with Guardia, and landing back on the ground, Chai took a moment to regain his balance, as it still somehow felt like he was dropping down from the skies!
Chai turned around to face the crowd when Bing mentioned that he had a fanbase, mildly shocked by the fact that he now had some fans. He just shrugged at the mention of signing autographs, something he never really got to do as the "fearsome terrorist leader" of Universe Five. It felt good to have people backing you up. He could almost hear their voices fading into the familiar tunes of his fellow teammates in the Rebellion... Some crowded around a certain sentient sword in the crowd, causing the blade to bounce brielfy, eyeing the surrounding spectators with a narrowed, hostile eye before speaking to the bystanders. 'Back off or the blade goes into your neck.' That was enough for most of the spectators to back off slowly, giving the sword a few extra feet of empty breathing space.
Swallowing hard when Bing said something about ending the fight, Chai just slipped into his stance, raising his paws forward as the barrier charged. Judging by the ki gathering up inside his opponent's hand, this attack was too much for him to flick aside. Gritting his teeth and closing his eyes as his foe rushed him for the final time, the goat deployed his barrier, watching as cracks began to quickly form down the rainbow shield, which was the only thing holding him and Bing's raw power apart. So this was it? Tossed away, like a mere fly again? It was like Defrosch insisted during their little fight. Fighting was hopeless. The rebellion was hopeless. He was hopeless. Guardia desparately eyed Chai from afar, hopping over to lean over the railing separating the two partners. No. No, no, no, no, nononono! He knew that look in Chai's eyes! His partner was giving up already!!
Chai glanced over to Guardia, watching the sword look on desparately as his barrier began to loose the battle. The cracks had almost extended to the very edges of the wall of ki, which would cause it to shatter. Closing his eyes and accepting his fate... the second leader of the Crimson Strikers found some memories surfacing as he did. He remembered poor Cerci, who never gave up until the very end. Kaula, who started the resistance and gave everyone hope for a brighter future. There was also Toma and Jax, his dear mentors that taught Chai everything he knew, and everything he could to try to counter Bing- which clearly wasn't working. The two of them fought despite their weaker powers, and never once faltered. Collan too sparred with the goat and stayed by his side even longer than Guardia. And Guardia... Guardia, the one soul that managed to save more than half of the rebellion with his knowledge. The sword took a chance by speaking to Chai for the first time. Oh, he remembered it like yesterday...
Chai was on another mission today. Capsule Corp has many supplies to offer, and the Rebellion was in need of more weaponry for the weaker fighters, and they needed to know if the Special Forces were planning something. Their plan? Chai, the newly appointed leader of the Rebellion, snuck into the building disguised as a mere worker. He was a nobody still- nobody would recognize him as a member of the "terrorist organization." Passing by and giving some friendly waves to his "coworkers," the goat managed to sneak into a corner room, filled to the brim with plans and blueprints for all sorts of gadgets. Jackpot!
Smiling to himself and picking up some of the plans and shoving them into his parcel, the goat continually looked back, making sure nobody was heading his way with his handy dandy ki sense ability. Moving a large box out of the way, something shiny caught the goat's eye. Underneath the box was a dusty sheath, which looked like it had been there for months. Oddly enough, Chai sensed energy radiating from inside the sword's container, and picked up the brown and gold scabbard. Plucking a golden sword hilt with an iron blade out of the container, the goat turned it around, looking for a reason why it was radiating life energy... Until it's eye snapped open and a voice barked in the goat's mind.
'Oh, FUCK off, will you?!'
Chai almost yelped, but covered his mouth in time as he looked down at the one-eyed sword. Only one eye? Wow, what a misfortune it must be to have only one eye and crappy depth perception... Chai would never let something happen to one of his dear eyes! Looking down to the eyed blade, the sword spoke once more in Chai's mind.
'Yeah, that's right you fucking dolt. I talk.'
'I'm, uh, sorry for interrupting... whatever you were doing, sir.' 'Doing what, exactly?! I've been trapped here for MONTHS! That god damn president said he didn't need me. And I was generous gift!' 'Oh... Sorry about that.' 'Huff... I wish that rebellion would just kick them in the schnozz sometime...' 'Augh! Forget I said anything! Y-you're one of their employees! Please, Please don't kill me!!'
'Nononono, you don't get it!... I'm their leader on a stealth mission!' '...Really? I thought it was some kinda saiyan?' '...She went kaput awhile ago.' 'But you're ACTUALLY their leader! Wowie! I never thought I would see the day. Please! Take me with you! I can't stand this anymore in here! The dust, the silence, the mice chewing on my precious sheath... Eugh! And they're planning to attack you for that universe-hopper-thing I've heard so much gossip about!'
Ever since that day, Guardia chose to stay by Chai, and despite a few hiccups, the sword kept him going. And here he was, giving up on everyone. Giving up on the hope of defeating their greatest foe... No. Nonononono! Chai was not going to let everyone's hopes and dreams fall here! He was their LEADER! He was going to save them! HE was going to defeat Bing! Closing his eyes as the barrier began to shatter, the goat's eyepatch flew off from the wind. Clsoing his eyes before they snapped open with now black scleras and white pupils, a flase pupil of light even appeared in Chai's empty eye socket. "I... am NOT going to let you DESTROY them again!!" Chai bellowed as his barrier finally shattered, but despite being sent flying to the edge of the ring, Chai leapt forward, aiming to punch Bing right in the face with his increased strength! Whatever happened, whether his opponent barely flinched or was sent flying back, Chai would slump over after the blow, closing his eyes and then speaking in a weak tone. "...Is that all you've got...?" Chai found himself laughing ever so quietly. It was funny, really. His form trembling as the goat's power reduced back to normal and his eyes returned to normal, Chai's pupils rolled back into his head as he fell to the ground, having exhausted all of his power. Guardia eyed his dear partner, before trying to speak to him once more in a rather gleeful tune, which later reduced to desperation.
'Oh, you're making him think you've collapsed to lower his guard! I get it now! Great idea, partner!' '...Helloooo? Earth to Chai? Testing one-two-three?'
'Oh. Oh no.'
'CHAI!!!'
Guardia's final call to his partner echoed in the minds of everyone in the arena, the bystanders, announcers, and even Bing himself. Flying over with his telekinesis so quickly it looked like the sword appeared out of thin air, he knelt over his partner's limp form, now radiating out a slowly decreasing ki. Guardia couldn't sense Ki, but he knew whenever Chai powered up like this, he always had to immediantly be sent to emergency care.Leaning over Chai and trying to use his hilt like a crutch to make his partner stand, the sword desparately tried to bring his partner back. Calling out to Chai once more, the sword's tone was frantic and shaky. Chai couldn't collapse now! They had to win this! 'Oh gods, not again, please... not again... Wake up!! Please, wake up!!!' Finally turning to Bing with a single, narrowed eye with anger and hostile intentions, the sword bent down, like he was preparing to just spring up and strike at any moment. Narrowing his eye at his sworn enemy, the sword's tone was just as hostile as his gaze. 'Oh, you've done it now...'

As the two energies collided, there was a loud -CRACK!- rung out through the stadium. It was like a lightning strike made from their Ki alone! Their energy pushed against one another for mere moments, but it was clear that the barrier stood no chance. Bing frowned. Maybe he was wrong about the goat-boy. "Come on, show me what you're holding in that heart of yours!"The Serpent Master's eyes widened, as the Goat's energy suddenly skyrocketed. His eyes discoloring, the Zoanthrope's barrier shattered, flinging him to the ends of the arena. Had it not been for his power boost, he would surely have been sent off the edge. Bing's energy attack dissipated as a smirk grew on his face. This was the power he was searching for! "Perfect! Now, let's see what you can-- GUAWFH!"Bing's words were cut short by the incoming fist of Chai. It connected painfully with the Human's cheek, the force of it sending Bing's entire body crumpling to the floor. His head smashed through the tiles, embedded into the arena. He mumbled something, but it was muffled to complete inaudibility. With a quick motion, Bing pushed his body upwards, his head popping out of the hole he'd left. The Former Guardian shook his head, bits of rubble flying out of his hair as he stood up. "Now that was something! Good work Chai... Chai?" His gaze turned to the Goat man, who had fallen unconscious. Only now did he realize the crowd was cheering wildly. The match had ended with a fantastic finish. The announcer called out the victory, but Bing wasn't entirely interested in that. It seemed he'd damaged Chai much more than he intended to. The Ex-Kami quickly hopped over to Chai's corpse, ignoring Guardia's presence entirely. As weird as the sword was, it was of very little importance. Right now he had to focus on fixing his mess. "Excuse me sword-guy, gotta fix something." Bing scooped Chai into his hands, carrying the limp, nearly lifeless body into the waiting room closest to the arena. If Guardia tried to interfere, he'd be met with a Kiai blast to the hilt; it'd disorient him, but no damage would be caused. Should Bing reach the waiting room unopposed, he'd let Chai down onto the couch, kneeling next to him as he stretched his hands out over his body. "I'm sorry I hurt you, Chai. Let's see if I can fix you up..."Slowly, a warm orange glow would permeate from the palms of Bing's hands. It was clearly not any type of Ki attack, but rather something magical. A distinctly calming sound came from the fog-like energy that was now coating Chai. Though it would take some time to take effect, this technique would fully heal Chai's wounds, should it be given time to work its magic.
[KP: 3/3] No tech used (yet). +1 KP regained! Will use [SU] Healing next turn. This turn was sort of a "warmup" use due to not actually having enough KP for use.

TOURIT'S TOURNEY ROUND 1: BING AND CHAI
'Alright, listen here--' Guardia began when Bing flat-out plucked his partner off the ground- the sword obviously was not very happy with the results of this battle. Hesitantly glancing over to the now unconscious Chai, the sword growled and began to charge some ki at the tip of his blade, but was quickly interrupted from a brief Kiai from his sworn enemy. His eye quickly turning into a dazed swirl after spinning in a circle from the harmless wave of Ki, Guardia shook his form for a moment, looking around for Bing and Chai. 'What? Where did they...?!' Glancing around for a moment, the bratty blade quickly caught eye of the two heading into the nearby lounge. Guardia growled one more, quickly floating after the two. 'Hey! Get your ass back over here! I'm not done yet!' The sword called, floating out of the arena and after Bing, not paying mind to the many eyes from the crowd that briefly locked onto the sight of the odd, somehow sentient sword.
There was no way in hell Guardia was just going to let this strange version of their world's president! Not after he and his forces flat-out mauled and killed most of their comrades that stayed behind to help back when they escaped! Cerci, Collan, and even Levlidian... They were all doomed from the start. Guardia knew he stood no more of a chance than Chai, but like his partner, the sword had a stubborn refusal to die and submit to someone as malicious and baneful as that man! Floating into the lounge, the sword glanced around before catching eye of Bing laying Chai down on a nearby couch and-- was that a ki blast forming in his hand! Guardia knew it! He was still evil all along! Flying over, the blade spoke in a hastened, vengeful, and downright lowkey angry tone. 'Now you better UNHAND my partner, or-- huh?'
On a second glance, this was in fact not a ki blast to finish the job. It seemed to be something else. There would be a lot more crackling and the familiar sound of a blast charging was not present, instead a low hum of sorts echoing in the sword's nonexistant ears. Ignoring Bing for now and orbiting around Chai for a moment, the sword's blade of ki dispersed, leaving him as a floating sword hilt. Okay- he'd just give Bing this one chance. Chai was open to the man, well, not being an evil asshole, so Guardia figured he'd follow in his partner's footsteps this once. Floating above the two with a critical narrowed eye, the old blade watched curiously and cautiously, making sure no harm came to his dear partner.

Bing barely noticed Guardia's entrance. The best he could do was give a slight nod in acknowledgement. He focused all of himself into this technique. It had been quite some time since he'd used his healing ability to its fullest extent, and he could already feel the energy draining from his palms. "Come on... Come onnnn... I haven't lost my touch that fast!"Slowly, Chai's cuts and bruises would fade, his body seemingly reverting to how it looked before this bout even began. The Grey-Haired Healer sighed in relief. Perhaps he wasn't so rusty after all. As the last of Chai's wounds closed, the glow faded away, and Bing fell back onto the floor. He panted heavily, sweat pooling on his forehead. That took way too much out of him. He needed to get practice this technique more often, lest he be forced to use it in a deadly situation, only to pay a hefty price. After a moment of catching his breath, he slowly stood up. His gaze fell upon the strange duo of an eyeless goat and a magical sword, and simply smiled. "Sorry that took so long. I haven't had time to practice since my time as Kami was cut short."
