It had been yet another normal day in Satan City. The birds were singing, the flowers were blooming! On days like today, skeletons like Neato, were having a jolly stroll through the park munching on Pizza. The Skeleton's day was just as jovial as the last one, if not more so, for in his left hand was a big gallon of milk! The only choice of drink for a skeleton. After all, it was high in Calcium!
"Nyeh heh heh!" laughed Neato, whom took a seat on a bench. He finished up his Pizza, before opening the gallon of milk and promptly chugging the ENTIRE thing. Without stopping. That is how serious Calcium was to the skeleton. He wasn't going to just sit around and let his bones get weak and shrimpy when there was milk to be had and friends to be made. He'd be a laughing stock of all skeletons if he did so.
This was Neato's day nearly every day. Come to the park, eat food, drink milk, and then head out into the world to find a new friend! Today however something was different. He felt the urge to stay in the park, like something was going to come to him, instead of him searching it out.

GOATS IN HUMERUS SITUATIONS
Chai stood atop a tall building near the town park, his black coat being blown back in the wind. Chai brushed a hand across his missing eye... It still felt like it was there, somehow. How long had it been since he came here? Were his friends in his home universe okay? If something happened to them in his absence, Chai just wouldn't be able to forgive himself.... Hopping off the building and wall-sliding down the side of it, the goat hopped off the wall when he was nearly to the ground, touching the ground and landing with a thud in front of a certain skeleton. Chai sighed, looking down at his furry hands, before clenching them shut. 'You're still hung up over that?' Guardia would speak telepathically, peeking out of his sheath. The sword didn't mind the other people around at this point, and leisurely broadcatsed his voice to some of the nearby passerbys as well, including Neato. "Guardia, you know I can't just..." Chai spoke as Guardia hopped out of his sheath, landing in front of the goat. 'Chai, how many times to I have to tell you? The others are going to be fine. We're going to be fine!' Chai shook his head, sitting down on a nearby bench, head hung low. It seemed like somebody needed to be cheered up!
Chai buried his head into his hands, still being a mopey edgelord in Guardia's eye, causing the sword to narrow his eye. "We just selfishly left them all to die for our own survival, and you know it, Guardia." Chai spoke, raising his head up somewhat. Guardia rolled his eye. Chai had been so happy back at the tournament, but now he was back in one of his funks. 'Oh, I'm going to cheer you up somehow, you bloody edgelord!' Guardia called, narrowing his eye. But how would he do such a thing? The sword would clearly need some help!

"OH MY GOD!" Immediately came out of the skeleton's mouth the moment the sword began talking. He hopped out of his seat and came up in front of the brooding Goat.
"Hello Human!" He said with a wave. "I couldn't help but notice you had a Magical Talking sword, which I have to say, is one hundred and ten percent cool!" The skeleton Let out a hearty laugh. "NYEH HEH HEH!" However his smile seemed to disappear when he noted how down Chai looked. He thought for a few moments then snapped.
"You seem kinda down friend!" He said. The skeleton opened his arms, offering a hug. "But no one can stay down after a Patented Neato Hug! Its Dr. Feelgood Approved!"
"But If a hug isn't something you like, well maybe you could tell me why you have such a long face. After all, if its really bad. The first thing you can do to start healing is to talk about it, or admit you have a problem!" He blinked and frowned bringing his finger up to scratch his forehead. "...or was that drugs....?"
Regardless what the goat said The skeleton still stood there, arms wide and offering that hug with an honest genuine smile across his boney face.

Both fighters flinched when a loud voice rang behind them. Turning around, the sulking warrior from another world and his sword partner eyed... a skeleton? Guardia tilted his form like a head- this was a case most likely like his own. It was plausible that this being too was a demon that used their magic to keep themselves alive, despite a lack of any real organs or muscles of the sort. The skeletal being approached the duo, staring agape at the mighty sword. Guardia stood tall after the skeleton greeted them, closing his eye and speaking in an arrogant and proud tone. 'Pheh! Of course I'm cool! I'm the only blade in this whole world that you'll see talk and think.~' Glancing off to the side, uncertainty took hold inside the sword's single eye. Having everyone ogle at the sight of a magical talking sword like himself was cool and all, but he missed his old body... 'But it's not as great as it might seem for me. I mean, I'm a little restricted with no arms or legs... I just have these stubby fingerless nubs.' Guardia waved around his crossguards like tiny arms for emphasis.
Turning back to Neato while Chai took a seat on a bench with a sigh, the blade floated into the air, eyeing the skeleton before straightening his posture and speaking, introducing himself and his zoan partner. 'I am Guardia- long stroy short, I am a demon in a sword. This edgy fellow over here is Chai. We're partners.' Chai huffed again, staring off at nothing in particular while Neato resumed speaking after addressing the odd sight of a talking blade. He seemed to be in thought for a moment before speaking, catching Guardia's attention while Chai continued to worry. Only glancing over to Neato with a raised brow when he mentioned a hug, Guardia's lower eyelid curled up a little. Oh boy. This was PERFECT! This could cheer Chai right up, right? He loved seeing others happy! Guardia's eye narrowed when the skeleton spoke once more, speaking of Chai perhaps telling him what was wrong, or admitting he had a problem. Guardia was about to make a snarky retort back, bvut turned when he saw a faint smile across Chai's face. "Heh..." Feeling a little better due to Neato's efforts, Chai's expression returned to a frown as he shook his head, speaking to the skeleton.
"I, would prefer not for now. I, uh, am not very touchy-feely."
'Oh, stop being a party pooper.' "Guardia-"
'~Every party needs a pooper, that's why they invited you.~' "Stop it." '~Party pooooper.~'
Guardia spoke back to Chai in a singsong jingle, causing the goat to run a palm down his face. He could appreciate the skeleton's attempts to cheer him up, but Chai couldn't exactly give away the sacred information of his origins clearly. An uncertain and pained expression crossing his face, Chai decided to speak once more, giving the smeleton the rundown on what pained him so. "Well... long story short, with details left out for my own safety." Chai spoke, closing his eyes before speaking in a pained and blunt tone. "Everyone I know and love is probably dead."
'Well that's a blunt way of putting it.'

Neato waved a dismissive hand at Gaurdia. "You don't need arms and legs to get around!" He said. "Thats just negative thinking." He tapped his skull then smiled wider at the sword. "If you believe you can move then you can move! Simple as that!"
As Gaurdia introduced himself and Chai, Neato struck a pose, hands on his hips. "its good to meet the two of you!" He said. "I am Neato Skeletino! The Friendliest Skeleton this side of East City! NYEH HEH HEH!"
As Chai turned down the offered hug Neato's smile dissappeared. He thought for a moment as he listened to Chai and Gaurdia argue. He opened his mouth to speak, only for Chai to drop the bomb he did. Neato closed his mouth and thought for a few more moments before he offered a sweet smile. He came to Chai's side, sitting on the bench besides him. He was quiet for a few moments before speaking up.
"That is not a happy thing to think of." He began. "Losing friends, and loved ones is never easy, no matter the circumstances. Death is even harder. Trust me I know." Neato looked down to his hands for a moment, staring at them before looking back to Chai. He offered a soft smile, perhaps offering a small glimmer of happiness towards Chai. "But... Even if they are gone, you are here. Alive and living for them. Carrying with you their smiles, their love. Their Hopes and Dreams!" Neato nodded slowly, offering a hand to Chai. "You have to keep living, and keep smiling for their sake, no matter where they are, or what state they are in." He motioned to the grass and the city. " We live in a wonderful world, full of color and life. Someone once told me that each day is a gift and that you should take it in stride."
Neato shut his eyes for a moment, letting out a slow sigh. "If you focus on the past... you'll never look to the future." He opened his eyes and smiled towards Chai. "Please, don't feel down friend. Just look around you. There's so much to be happy about!" He looked to the side. "Don't be a sad sack of bones like I used to be."
