DON'T GOAT ANY TIME
Night had crossed the Yunzabit Highlands. The wind howled in the highest reaches of the land, which was long believed to be the "end of the Earth." The constant clouds above the highlands just darkened the barren green wasteland even more, making it quite hard to see. The temperature had dropped below freezing, and icicles could be seen gradually forming on the mountainous landscape. The strong winds howled- if there were any trees in the land, they would have most likely completely toppled over from the harsh winds of the desolate highlands. Only the hardiest of fighters came here to train. And that included one rather frustrated, angsty goatlord from another universe.
A blast of Ki demolished a large chunk of a bluff, causing dust to spread for a moment, before being picked up and whisked away by the harsh winds. A seven-foot-tall figure was concealed in the dust for a brief moment before it was blown away. Chai's ears waved in the wind, his body surrounded with multicolored ki. Sighing, the goat zoan sat down on a rock, running a hand across his face. He fidgeted with a small capsule in his palm, looking rather glum...
A low 'shank' was heard as the sword sheath slung over Chai's back shuffled, the blade peeking it's one eye out. Guardia was a strange, sentient blade with a demonic spirit inside, but was Chai's best friend and comrade. The blade spoke to Chai alone telepathically, speaking in a concerned and hushed tone. 'Chai... You're really still hung over that?' The goat zoan sighed, head drooping a little more. "Mmmm-hmm." Guardia furrowed his brow, still sitting inside of the zoan's sword sheath. Chai had been down a lot lately. He probably felt guilty for leaving the rebellion behind, without a leader. Guardia too felt a little guilty for leaving, but he still clung onto hope. 'I know things are still tough, buddy. That ol' universe-hopper is, well... busted. But we will be able to go back and save our own world!' Chai sighed, speaking once more, voicing one of his thoughts. "I hope you're right, Guardia... But we just... left. We left them all behind. Isn't just being here kind of selfish?" The zoanthrope spoke in a hushed tone. Guardia closed his eye, continuing their tiny little heart-to-heart. '...Chai, you're doing the right thing. This universe seems to be in an era of peace. We can train, and we can go back, and we WILL save everyone. For sure!' The blade's brain mail had an undying tone of confidence to it.
Chai stood up, deciding to get his act together for now. He was sad and felt like garbage, but they still had to train to save their universe, like Guardia stated. before the goat could move off to blow up some more rocks, his ears twitched, sensing two power levels closing in. Who could these two be..?
