[Thread PL: 14,398 Light Weights ON! Reduced PL: 10789]
In the night, this place always got so chilly... Not that Hinawa minded the cold. After living in the frozen north for over a year, the current temperatures here actually seemed rather nice and comforting. Why had she come back to this place, anyway...? It was either a burning or freezing wasteland, after all. A wasteland that had nothing left within it that she cared about... Yet she was still soaring through the sky above it, her new Kimono fluttering in the wind, together with her tail and ears. Red, light-reflecting eyes scanned the desolate landscape, but she was smiling despite what she saw. This desert woke some old memories...
With unnatural grace, the kitsune landed softly on top of a dune. The air here was dry and harsh, but it also smelled and tasted fresher than any air in any of the cities on Earth. As she retraced the old steps she had taken once before, her eyes wandered across the sand. A chance meeting with someone she had before only seen in nightmares... Her worst enemy that turned out to be, quite possibly, the only being that ever understood the broken, angry girl from back then. He had been the one to focus her anger... She gave him a target to focus it on, a real, living target, and a mission: To become strong enough to destroy that target. To be his ally, despite his strength exceeding hers by so much.
"I guess I'll never get to tell him."
With a sigh, Hinawa reached the point she remembered, where she had met that impossibly tall, imposing and dangerous figure. Aina had said that he was still out there, working towards the freedom of his people - and she wanted to believe that, but maybe he was actually already... gone, for good. Pulling a bottle of water from her belt, Hinawa took a deep drink from it while looking towards the sky. Boundless darkness, filled with an infinite number of beautiful sparkling stars - the infinity of space could only be truly seen from a place like this desert at night, where no light but that of the moon interfered. Thankfully, the full-moon had passed already, so the majority of the light was only the stars - a sea of light. Red eyes changed to blue, as Hinawa relaxed at the sight, dropping her guard completely.
"I wonder if Lev would laugh at me if he saw me do this."
With a bemused chuckle, Hinawa once again wondered what had become of her teacher... of Emer, the strongest man she had ever met.

Silence [Thread Pl: 28,479 Heavy Weights: On Suppressed Pl: 7,119 Ki suppression active as well Pl: 200 ]
God's know how long the tall Kagami laid there in the sand... The soft grains forming to his body, as he had the giant cloak sinking him down into the ground. On top of the weighted clothing suppressing him, the man also had his ki suppressed. Just so he could relax for a moment. He didn't wish to be disturbed, and even Irith seemed to respect this for now. Her generally soothing voice, hadn't spoken out in a while now. Maybe it was just to let the Kagami process the current situation that he was going through, However he felt a familiar power level near by.
It seemed that the desert played mysterious tolls on not only him, but the other that had meet him. The sand still warm from the taking the beating from a searing suns beam all day. Allowed the man to keep his warmth... the power level approached closer and closer, causing Emer to smile slightly, as it landed in the sand next to him. He didn't know if it was by insult or just simply dismissing his nearly invisible power level currently, the small fox woman didn't even acknowledge the giant Kagami laying in the sand... However he really couldn't blame her.
He was covered in a thick tanned cloak, that allowed him to blind in with the sand underneath. If it had been daylight she'd of easily been able to spot the Kagami. About to say hello to Hinawa, he heard the small woman sigh slightly, her words a bit saddening to hear, speaking as if she'd never get to tell someone something. Laying there in silence for a moment, he tried to picture what she was talking about. That's when she reached down and took out a small bottle from her belt. The woman still moved with grace.
Suddenly she spoke a name Emer hadn't known, talking about someone named Lev. Opening his eyes slightly, their red gleams coming out from his cloak, it was the only thing she could see once she looked around enough. His deep voice reverberating from within him. It was soft like always, and never getting loud. "I don't know who this Lev is, but it's odd to see you without such a blood thirsty stare Hinawa." The woman was the same as ever, she was cocky in a way, even going so far as to let her guard down right here.
His eyes taking her in, she seemed to have grown a little bit, wearing some strange clothing he had never seen before. "I also didn't think I'd ever hear that crazed child laugh." That's when the sands began to shift, and a giant figure began to arise from nothing.

Hinawa couldn't help but jump slightly when she suddenly heard a voice. Whirling around, alarmed, it slowly clicked in her head... just who this voice belonged to. Wide, blue eyes looked at the red eyes staring up at her, before the titanic figure of the Kagami rose before her. The one man she thought she'd never meet again. His voice... it was still the exact same. Soft, calm, and pleasant. Her eyes shifted to the red hue for a moment before going back to blue - no wonder she hadn't noticed him. He was somehow suppressing his own power for sure - because right now, he seemed weaker than her back when she first met him, and that couldn't be right. He had slipped right past her instincts which served as her own kind of 'ki sense' because of it. Her face, filled with surprise, slowly became a smile - a true, honest and kind smile.
"Well, that's what happens when you disappear for over a year, Emer. People change." Trying to sound flippant and annoyed, she couldn't help it - her real, honest joy could be easily heard in her voice, as she quickly made sure to hold back any embarrassing tears from meeting him again. She wouldn't give anyone the luxury of seeing her, the strongest kitsune on the planet, cry. Emer's size alone was enough to be intimidating - and he was still just as huge as she remembered. It probably didn't help that she herself had barely grown, despite technically being an adult by now.
"You... don't disappear again like that, got it? I thought you were dead! I... I..." Bursting forth with her words, Hinawa could only shake her head and laugh. "You're cruel, you know that? I finally had an actual goal, and you... From one day to the next, you're gone, and I'm alone again." Hinawa couldn't help it - there was an accusatory tone in her voice now, despite being happy to finally meet her old teacher again. Before she had met him, nobody in the whole world had ever cared about her in the slightest. As an orphan with strange Ki abilities, filled with so much rage... She had isolated herself from normal people, and lost all connection to any sort of 'normal life' the moment her parents had died. And with Emer's disappearance, her connection to the greater world - the world of ki users - had disappeared as well.

Silence As he was standing up to his full height, the small woman grew shorter and shorter to Emer. His eyes gleaming red looking at her, she seemed to be caught off guard. A small jump visible and the quick spin alerted him that she had indeed been caught off guard. At first her eyes shifted to the red hue, as if she was preparing for battle. However they went back to being the pure blue of her relaxed state. Though the look of shock seemed to slowly fade away. A large smile appeared to replace it... One that was filled with emotion.
She tried to put on an air... But it quickly falter as the joy in her voice could be heard. She told him that people do change when you disappear for over two years. A small chuckle coming from the giant Kagami. His hand stretching out and gently rubbing the top of her head. Like he had done years ago. "Yeah... I'm sorry about that Hinawa.... Things happened, the people I considered friends tried to kill me... did kill me technically... Mimikku sparking my rage, holding a knife at my bed one night, watching me about to strike to silence me."
He said reminding himself of the other Kagami he had considered a friend, had simply betrayed him, sending him on a rampage, if it hadn't been for the saiyan he fought... The man would of probably killed everyone on this planet due to that night. A small sad smile on his face. He had listened to her completely before answering, she said he was cruel, just to simply disappear on her. A sad laughing following caused a small ping of pain for Emer As if he had a choice in the matter... Maybe he did in a sick twist of fate. He could of simply suppressed his rage. Letting a small sigh escape him, he could piratically see the sadness in the woman.
He remembered Nai-Ran getting this way at one point... The only way to comfort the crying woman was something he was unfamiliar with. So to stop her from crying, her brought her in gently. That was if she'd allow, she'd have a solid hug on her. Though weaker than what he once was. "I'm not good at... Showing emotions to well Hinawa, but I can tell you're saddened and upset... At least allow me to try and make it up to you." He said holding her in the hug... When he had done this for Nai-Ran, it had slowly calmed her down.Thinking that in this situation it would do the same... Then again he remembered the hatred Hinawa once had for him, So maybe it wasn't such a good idea in a way, well one can only guess so much.

All it took was that pat on the head, and Hinawa felt as if no time at all had passed. As if Emer had just invited her inside of his home for the very first time again... And just as he went to hug her, she did the same, hugging the Kagami tightly, no matter what he might think about that. Not so long ago, she would've never even considered doing this, but right now, her emotions took over and erased what little pride she had. There was no need for such things among those you call... friends. Was this what Aina meant? This feeling for Emer, and for Levlidian to a lesser extent - if this was friendship, then she wanted more of it, no matter if it made her sad or not. She finally wasn't alone anymore.
It took the Zoanthrope a moment to stop the tears that were now running down her cheeks as she buried her head into the chest of the tall man, attempts to be tough be damned. She was just so glad to finally have him back here that nothing else mattered for now.
"Hey, it doesn't matter now, right?" Finally looking back up at Emer and letting go of him, she smiled, despite the fact that her cheeks were still slightly wet and her eyes were reddened without any usage of Ki for once. Her fox tail swished from side to side happily as she spoke. "So you died, doesn't matter. You're here now. They betrayed you - doesn't matter, they're not here now, but I am. And I'm just glad to have you back. Though knowing that you died... Hey, I almost joined you in that. Turns out, fighting a demon to save a puppy is a supremely stupid idea that only I could have." With a small smirk, she managed to regain at least some of her snark, though it was directed at herself now. She had no problem with pointing out her own failures, after all. However, something slowly dawned on her...
Emer was weaker than before. Obviously he was holding back to begin with, but in that hug, he seemed... softer than before. To anyone else, the tall Kagami would've still been a solid brick wall, but Hinawa knew him well enough to notice the difference... Despite only having known him for such a short time. In a way, they had gotten along quite well, despite her blaming him for the death of her parents at first - but only through shared hatred. But now that that base of hatred was gone from Hinawa, she felt no reason to even bring it up anymore. Saiyans, planet Vegeta, that all didn't matter to her anymore... But one thing did.
"You're still going to do it, right? Free your people." With a deep breath, Hinawa thought back to something Aina had said. 'Friends are allies, and so much more'.
"Let me help you. I won't be a burden anymore - there's no hatred blinding me any longer."

What the tall Kagami hadn't been expecting was the small fox girl to hug into him tightly. That caught the man off guard slightly. He hadn't expected her to make the same movements. He was doing this for her, since she had been crying just a moment ago. He felt the small tears of the woman pressed against him. A single thought crossed his mind as Irith talked. 'My oh my... Emer who'd of known you made such a dedicated student, let alone someone that would cry for you.' Sitting there in silence not responding to the goddess within his head.
He didn't let go of the small zoanthrope until all of her tears had stopped. But they kept coming as she finally pulled away to look at him. Her face still covered in water from the small tears she had shed, her words coming out about how it didn't matter now. A small smile on the fox girls face, taking his arm from around her he used the bandages on his hand and arm to wipe away the lingering tears. He saw the small tail behind her swaying back and forth. Obviously she was happy now. She spoke up about the betrayal.
A soft chuckle escaped Emer as he nodded at her statement about almost joining him, for protecting a small animal from a demon. A small tsk coming from Emer as he spoke. "I told ya before, only fight for yourself. It'll make you stronger, but I guess we both fell for the simple tricks of protecting others. Even going so far as myself to become attached to one of them." He watched as she started to regain her normal presence. A small smirk coming back to her face, it caused the Kagami to show a rare smile form him. Starting to stand up though, she held onto him though through the whole ordeal.
Stopping his movements to stand up, he decided that he'd rather hold the hug for a moment longer? Why not it was slightly relaxing to him, and it seemed to be working with the small Zoanthrope as well. His arm wrapping around her small stature again. That's when she asked a single question that made the man freeze slightly, talking about how he was still planning to free his people. A small chuckle escaping him slightly as he had forgotten about that recently... Allowing himself a moment of relaxation.
After a deep breathe she seemed to remember something, talking about how he should let her help him. Taking a moment and opening with a soft laugh that's hasn't been heard by Emer before. She was the first to actually offer to help him with his plan. The small embrace turned into a strong hug. Obviously showing how much those small words meant to someone who had been betrayed over and over again... "Alright... Hinawa I'll let you help me... Though we're both going to need to be stronger... First step is my recovery." He said in a teasing tone as he pulled away to stare at her.

Finally fully letting go of Emer, Hinawa returned his smile. An actual smile... looked good on him, really. Despite the magnitude of scars he had, and despite his gigantic stature, Emer actually looked very nice with it... Not that he was unpleasant to look at to begin with, but normally he had the appearance of a deathly serious warrior. She preferred this more relaxed, natural version of him to the one she had known before. Returning his look, she nodded. "We're too weak, I agree with you on that. You need to recover, and I need to train again... Until a short while ago, I had no reason to grow stronger. I stagnated. Now, I have two reasons to get stronger at the same time..."
Hinawa returned her gaze to the stars above. Save the Kagami from enslavement. Would that mean... killing the Saiyans? Hopefully not, but she was prepared to strike someone down if she had to. She highly doubted that ALL of the Saiyan Solar Empire encouraged slavery and wanted to keep it - and then there were those like Levlidian, who had chosen to give up on the Empire to grow stronger for himself, and who wasn't a bad guy to hang out with. Though she'd have to explain that one to Emer now... That unpleasant thought caused her to shift around slightly on the still warm, soft sand under them. Fidgeting around a bit due to the night cold of the desert was normal... but she normally didn't care about the cold that much, so she was clearly bothered by something.
"When you said to fight for myself... Well, I did that. I myself didn't WANT something to happen to that dog... So to make sure that what I wanted would become reality, I fought. In a way, I'm a pretty self-serving, egoistic girl, really. I'm going to help you because I WANT to - because..." Pausing for a moment, Hinawa took a deep breath. "This... This is going to sound strange, so don't take it the wrong way, please. But you disappearing, while it was terrible, also opened my eyes to a lot of things. Without a focus for my anger, I noticed how... pointless it felt. I'll never forgive what happened - but I didn't want to be ruled by it any longer. I became able to do... this."
Raising her aura, Hinawa was cloaked in pale blue Ki - but it was a calm, serene appearance, while still having some faint resemblance to flame. "I can control my Ki when I can contain my anger. I can sharpen it to fight, calm it to use magic... Part of the reason is something that you might not like to hear."
Looking back at Emer, she had an apologetic look on her face - but he had a right to know. "The reason I found to grow stronger again, to stop just being on my own... Is a rival. Or rather, someone who decided to make himself my rival, and I humored him... And discovered that competition in battle is far more rewarding than fighting for my life, really. For the first time, I want to get stronger not for my own benefit alone. Its for him, and for you now, too. That person... his name is Levlidian. He's... a former member of the Saiyan Solar Empire. A Saiyan."

Awakening Hinawa seemed to finally let go of him, as she returned his smile. It's been a while since he had been able to do something like that. As Emer stood to his full height he looked down at the small woman. His face slowly fading back to that serious look he had all the time. The Kagami listened to her speak about how the two of them where weak. A small nod of understanding came from Emer as he listened. She stated she had two reasons to get stronger now. But standing there for a moment he kind of got an eerie feeling as she looked up.
She spoke about the dog incident again, causing the Kagami to look back down at her. Talking about how she didn't want that dog hurt. She spoke about when he left it had hurt her... How many people truly cared about him. Suddenly Irith was laughing a bit inside of his head. 'It seems that you had more than Mimikku worrying about you Emer. Who would of thought that you had become so popular here on earth. Almost seems like you're a pop star in a weird way.' Emer drove the small woman out from his head.
He watched as she raised a pale blue ki in front of him. He remembered her having no control over her ki before, but it seemed that at some point she had managed to completely tame it in the time that he was going. She spoke about how she could control both her ki and her anger, while also using it to be used as magic. That's when she spoke about the part he wasn't going to like was coming next. She could see the man stiffen already. He knew what was coming he had to many people do this to him.
It had to be an accursed saiyan she was going to speak about. Sure enough the apologetic face she wore gave him the hint. Speaking about a rival, and how she found competition in her life was much better than fighting for her life. Speaking how she wanted to get stronger for him, this was a repetition of the past, with Mimikku... What the hell was going on with Emer's life. Everyone around him was a saiyan lover within his eyes. Talking about a former saiyan warrior? She knew exactly how he had felt about that, how his body now looked with the scars and burns along it.
How he was missing his arm, how he had been killed, it was all done by saiyans. And yet here she was talking about how she had befriended a saiyan. Clenching his teeth slightly, Hinawa would feel that power of Emer's from so long ago, it was like a sickening twist of events happened to him. That power flooded out scattering all the sand around him. The anger on his face, but twisted with pain as well, as his body threatened to blow itself apart right there. Taking a moment to steel himself once again.
The power seemed to stutter down and stop itself. As he looked at Hinawa, his eyes showed his anger, but his body showed nothing anymore. "I suggest it's time for you to leave Hinawa... I'm not so lenient for saiyan lovers... Or even people that work with them. This body of mine wasn't created by god... Or anything of that matter, it was created by the saiyans you choose to side with. I'm done with all of this shit now." He wasn't about to let anyone know, his body felt as if it was about to literally shred itself on his display of power. Letting her know he still had it within him.

Hinawa had expected this, truth be told. Ever since she spent that first training session with Levlidian - she refused to acknowledge that it had been anything else - she had known that Emer, if he ever found out, would hate her for it... Yet it still stung. She turned to face him once more as his Power Level suddenly spiked - her eyes shifting over into red, as per usual whenever a great power neared or she was agitated. Widening slightly, she recognized it - the strength he had wielded back when they first met. But after what had happened only moments before...
"Emer you idiot, STOP! Your body is going to tear itself apart!" yelling out with a sharp, alarmed and concerned voice, she took a deep breath as the power subsided. It was enough power to kill her, enough power to crack open a planet like an egg, yet what she was worried about was not her own life - it was his. Really, she wanted to show actual concern for him, but the anger in his gaze stopped her. Red eyes stared into red eyes - within Hinawa's, something other than rage flared up. She wasn't angry at Emer, not at all. After what he had gone through, he had more right to hate the Saiyans than anyone else she knew - but Hinawa didn't hate him for it. She couldn't do it, even if she wanted to.
What her eyes showed was pure, unbridled determination. It was clear, strong, and radiating - even being visible in the continuous, calm glow of her aura as it subsided slowly. It was that same determination that she had once shown towards destroying those who wronged her, yet without the hatred, despair and anger that had polluted it in the past. As she took a step towards him, instead of following his instructions, she simply shook her head.
"I'm not going to stand here and say, 'I know what you've been through'. I don't. In fact, I can't even imagine half of the things that happened to you, all because of the Saiyans. Or the suffering of other Kagami, for that matter. What has happened to me was nothing compared to it."
Hinawa closed her eyes for half a second. Flashes of her parents, but also of the terrible things she had done on her quest for revenge. How easily she could've hurt someone innocent on it. Then finally, an image of Levlidian, with his black gi, body full of scars, and that slightly cruel but endearing smirk. Such a stark contrast... But she knew why.
"Nobody is able to choose what we're born as. Human, Saiyan, Kagami - we're just born into this galaxy one day, forced to grow up however our people see fit. Warriors, soldiers, slaves, martial artists, we become what our cultures wish from us. But what we do get to choose... is how and if we break out of that. I was destined to die as a child. I changed my destiny. Saiyans are born and raised as warriors, to be uncaring soldiers. Yet there are those among them who change their destiny. They tried to make it your destiny to be their property, but you changed yours."
Opening her eyes again, Hinawa still showed clear determination and conviction on her face.
"I just told you, didn't I? I'm a selfish woman. I've decided to help you, I've decided to free your people. Change destiny for those who can't change it themselves. I've made that my destiny - to create freedom for others. To save them from going through the horrors I've seen, let alone those that you have faced. Now... can you accept someone as an ally who can't hate everyone born a Saiyan?"
Hinawa stood tall, and with a smile - she offered a handshake towards the one-armed man.

Silence Emer stood there for a moment, as he felt himself slowly calm down a little bit. But the girls words shouted at him telling him to stop. Her voice seemed to be a little concerned about him. His eyes softening slightly, As he gauged what to do next, she almost seemed to step towards him, but she seemed to freeze in her place. He remembered that look form long ago but it didn't possess the anger that she held so long ago. The young man took a deep breath and shook his head slightly. He didn't know exactly what to say or do with her now.
That's when she spoke about not knowing his past, and saying that she couldn't say that she knew what it was like. She was being straight forward with him for the time being. Emer let out a small sigh as his body began to calm down. The man was silently thinking to himself. Why was he getting so worked up over this? She hadn't done anything to him yet. Not like another person he knew.... She had tried to kill him yet, so why was he getting so defensive with her? Maybe it was because of the fact that she mentioned a saiyan.
Listening closely to how she spoke about how no one got to choose their birth. That much was true, Irith speaking gently behind him. 'She's right you know, you ought to listen to the small woman. She seems to be more enlightened than you think. It also seems that you have a bit of understanding to go through,. I mean it's not every day someone doesn't freak out cause you flared up at them. Emer just take it easy now, you're still not at your best.' Clearing his head slightly he look at Hinawa again opening her eyes.
She spoke about how she was selfish woman. Saying that she decided to help him towards his goal. A small sigh seemed to escape the giant Kagami as he looked down at her hand for a moment... Just what was his goal really? To destroy all the saiyans? What of those newly born, he had already told Nai-Ran long ago he would never harm a child. Maybe what Hinawa was saying is true... She would see the mans face grow softer as he sat there thinking about everything she was saying. His large hand reaching out to grab hers gently.
The Kagami was giving in? Letting a small smile on his face as he nodded. "I'll trust you for now Hinawa... I mean it's not everyday you gain an ally... My previous Ally, pinned me down but hours ago, and clenched my throat drawing blood and threatening to kill me." He released her hand and reached up removing the bandages around his neck, to show the marks from nails, and the torn skin, with impression into it. "She too fell for a saiyans love, slept with him. And even admitted to it, and when I wouldn't take her back. This happened."
He stood there for a moment looking down at her, as he took a moment to wrap the bandage back around his neck. "She's not only attempted to kill me now ,she did so in the past. To further point out this emphasis on her, I allowed her in. I brought her into my home, she attempted to kill me in my sleep, to plunge a sword straight through my heart. The fact all cause she loved a saiyan. Even though she was a Kagami." He stated with his cold eyes looking at her.

Hinawa had not expected Emer to accept, really. In fact, she already mentally prepared herself for having to possibly even fight him over this, but... He took her hand, and a bright smile lit up her face in response to his. Time had changed her for the better - and it seemed like the same could be said for Emer. His story of how his previous ally kept on betraying him, though, caused her to furrow her brows in disgust. What kind of person would DO that, try to kill the guy giving you a free roof over your head in his sleep?! What kind of person tried murder as option A, instead of just TALKING to people?! ... Of course, she technically couldn't exactly talk on that last front, considering she had tried to kill Emer the moment she first met him, but her case wasn't exactly ordinary.
"What kind of unfathomable bitch would do that?" Shaking her head in disbelief at how someone like that could exist, the wounds on Emer's neck made her wish she could do more with her Ki magic than burn things. There had to be a way to heal with Ki magic, right? Well, sadly she didn't know how to, or she'd help her old teacher out with those scratches. Still, she looked at the cold eyes of the much taller Kagami without fear, for she had no reason to fear her old teacher. It was true that she was the rival and friend of one Saiyan, and acquainted with another, but she was no 'Saiyan lover'.
"Lev is my rival and friend, nothing more. Do I look like the kinda girl who is heavily into romance to you?" Her smile shifted into a small grin at the simple thought. Yeah, they were friends, yes - but she wouldn't go so far as to call herself in 'love' with anyone, really. First of all, he wasn't even her type, second of all, she was only getting used to having a friend in the first place - she was absolutely NOT ready for a 'boyfriend'. "And either way, I'm honest. Sounds big-headed, but that's how I am. I say what I think, and I don't go around sneaking up on people to stab them. If I've got a problem with you, you damn well know that I'll just say so right out. While possibly insulting you." Hinawa was certainly self-aware of both her good AND bad traits, after all. She just didn't care to work on bettering the latter.
Hinawa looked away from Emer's red eyes to give his body another once-over. He always had been a scarred monstrosity and walking talking brick outhouse, but... Some of these scars seemed fresher than when she had last seen him. "So anyway, who took care of your injuries so far? Because as I see it, you could use some more mystical help with them. You know more about the galaxy than I ever have, so any ideas where we could get you fixed up a bit more?"

Silence It was something else to see the small smile that appeared on the woman's face. It seemed she hadn't been completely expecting Emer to accept her offer. But all in all it seemed to work out of the two of them. Though she seemed to furrow her brow, and get a some what disbelief look on her face. That was when the small fox child had him laughing a little bit now. It was something he hadn't expected coming form her asking what unfathomable bitch would do that. The man finally calming down a little bit, that was the best comment he had heard all day.
"Oh you don't know... Trust me, if Aina knew her mother had done that to me... That poor girl wouldn't be able to live it down." His eyes however had soften at her comment, she could see the kindness behind them for once, perhaps it was cause she had gotten the man to laugh? And loose his generally serious air about him. He didn't know what had been so funny with that comment but it seemed that her unhesitating answer had sprung forth something he thought he could no longer do with anyone. Goes to show he's not fully in control of his emotions.
That smile seemed to disappear completely when she mentioned the saiyan again, but the girl seemed to continue on a little bit about being a girl heavily into romance, he took a moment to look her over before responding. "You ears and tail make it look like you're about to go to the red light district to get some guys for the night." He said in a some what teasing manner towards the girl. She had asked the question that set her up for that moment. I mean it's not every day Emer cracks a joke or two.
But she returned instantly back to the woman that had tried to kill him before. Emer couldn't help but laugh at the small comment about how she wouldn't go sneaking around. She'd come straight up to him. Emer nodded it was in the girls nature to be truthful towards him. Though he looked back at him, as she glanced back at his body. Looking it up and down to see the bandages that covered his body, her next sentence had him laughing once again at the statement about his wounds and such.
"As far as my injuries go, I currently do my own treatment. As far as finding someone else there is no one I need to seek out. My wounds will heal on their own." He said in a some what cold voice, but he wasn't trying to be so distant from her there. He was just returning to his normal self, but it would seem that she had insulted him once more. But in truth it was just him thinking about it for a moment. He had Milac heal his wounds long ago... And that was a different story in time.

Hinawa's right eye twitched a bit at that comment about her ears and tail, giving Emer a rather annoyed look. As if in response, her tail swished from side to side, and her ears twitched slightly. Injured or not, Emer had just earned himself a one-way ticket to pain station, but she didn't want to just knock him out - and what she had in mind right now could probably knock any man out, no matter their energy levels. And she had kind of walked right into that one... And since when could Emer crack jokes, anyway?! For a moment she became so mad that she forgot to actually even be mad and actually grinned as she responded. "Is that what a Kagami considers flattery? You gotta work on that, big guy. You better be happy that you- ... Wait, did you just say AINA'S mother?!"
Interrupting herself as she suddenly realized what she just heard, Hinawa's eyes went wide for a bit, an utterly stunned expression on her face. Emer dealing with these injuries on his own... That was crazy already. If he had been anyone BUT, well, him, then she'd expect someone in this condition to not even be able to move at all, let alone hold a conversation, train or act normally, yet she was convinced Emer could do all of those anyway. So if he was alright with his situation, she wouldn't pry further - though she still wanted to figure out how to heal, to be prepared just in case. But that didn't matter at all, compared to the bombshell of Aina's mother being the crazy bitch that had nearly strangled her teacher.
"Okay, wow. I need a moment to process THAT." Hinawa plopped back down in the sand, sitting down for a moment as she was unsure if she should laugh or cry or both. "I met Aina not that long ago. Hell, she's why I knew that you were still alive to begin with. Or alive again, whatever. So her mother was the entire damn reason...?! Alright, I'm not sure who I'm mad at right now, and how much, but I feel like I should be punching something right about now. Or setting it on fire with my mind, I can do that now." Just shaking her head, Hinawa floated back up into a standing position, just staring at her teacher in confusion. "You know what we should do? Get to know some NORMAL people. Not crazy women that try to kill you, not assassins of the BBA or whatever else. You know what, the moment you're in better shape, I'm dragging you to a bar with me."
Hinawa couldn't help but grin at that idea, actually. Getting Emer to do something 'normal' or 'ordinary'... Yeah, why not? She had only gotten to know him because she had been neck-deep in a brutal, savage world she didn't understand. Now that she had one foot in that world and one foot in the normal one, dragging her friends into normality every now and then seemed like a good thing to do.

Awakening The small twitch of the right eye, was the trademark reaction of the young fox girl. Her face proved to be exactly what he had expected, the look of irritation laced with a bit of a smirk. Though, the tail swishing back and forth taught him long ago to be prepared, suddenly the ear twitching signaled as the woman came p and nailed him in a spot that would drop most people. Standing there for a moment, the man let a little pain show on his face, but over all he tuned it out. Inside of his mind however, Emer was riddled with pain of his nuts being hit.
Though her words brought him back to reality, speaking about if that was what a Kagami considered flattery. Raising an eyebrow, Emer tilted his head slightly at that question. That's when she began to say he needed to work on that. A small smile on his face as she seemed to be shocked suddenly about it being Aina's mother that had grabbed a hold of him. He didn't know she knew Aina, but her reaction gave him the answer he needed anyway. Letting out a small chuckle himself, the tall Kagami shook his head.
"As far as flattery goes... That wasn't meant to be one. If I need to work on it then lets see..." Taking a moment he tilted his head, and brought his hand up to his chin. Gripping it slightly as if he was in deep thought, but it didn't even take him a second to start talking. "The Kimono fits you perfectly, it seems to be a comfortable sight for yourself, and those around you. The color matches brilliantly against your blue eyes. Your hair color and tail brings out the beautiful blood red glow of your eyes when you're angry. I find that a little attractive as they're similar to my own."
"You're small stature makes you desirable as well. It makes others wish to hold onto you, and hold you close. It's an excellent combination with your ears and tail as well. Makes your adorablility to a high degree." He finally finished with a soft smile. "Not to mention your olive color skin, and the soft pink gloss of your lips. Allows you to have a fairly attractive face. With the soft features, but also can be hardened to give you a more mature look. I'd say on a scale you're a four out of five."
"Your personality alone, is a feisty one, which is attractive as well. You're caring, and devoted to people, which is a desire I find suitable. Hell if I was looking for a mate, I would say you'd be a perfect pick right about now. Not only do you strive to get stronger, you're still there to help those weaker, and stronger than you. To grade you on that alone would be an insult. Because you'd make the perfect wife for anyone that dared pursue you. That's what makes you slightly wonderful Hinawa." He said with a bright smile at the end.
However after the small silence, the tiny fox women's eyes seemed to widen a little bit as she came to terms with Aina and her mother. "I believe that was an acceptable term of flattery don't you agree?" His smile seemed to fade away, as he finished stating what he wanted to say. However she seemed to answer his suspicion about her meeting Aina. However she spoke again about how Emer had to meet some normal people for once. When she spoke about a bar the tall Kagami shook his head slightly.
"I think a bar might be a bad place for us to go. Cause if I'm asked anything I don't turn it down. It's something I don't see a problem with. I've had one to many incidents with them, where the reciprocate wasn't happy with the outcome. Simply because Irith doesn't allow me to get drunk, so I can drink as much as I want without consequences." He said matter of factly.

Many, many shades of red existed within the galaxy... and Hinawa went through most of them as Emer started his little spiel about her attractiveness. At first her eyes only widened slightly, sure that he would maybe come up with one or two sentences at most that she could just play off, but... No, he kept on going. As if to reinforce his comment about the shade of red of her eyes, they began to glow in that shade - but out of sheer embarrassment making her heart beat faster and faster, as the color shot into her face. First her cheeks, but quickly, she was bright red in the entirety of her face, stumbling back one step. This was more shocking, head-turning and insane than him not noticing a shot straight to the groin! That was already something no man was supposed to be able to just endure, but to then make a list like this about the woman that did it?!
"Y-Yeah right, you're just-"
But no, he wasn't done. Next was her personality, and at this point, she just wanted to vanish into the ground, never to be seen again - she was sure that she was actively glowing in the dark at this point. Really, she had no idea how to react at all - it was flattering, to say the least, but also... Strange, and she wasn't sure if it was in a good or bad way. So Emer... saw her like that? She couldn't look him in the face right now, and she had no idea why. Her voice sounded a bit thin, almost as if she was having trouble breathing - because truth be told, she did have trouble even breathing in more deeply. Her entire body seemed to tingle as if there were countless feathers being dragged over her form, and she looked almost a bit vulnerable, as she crossed her arms in front of her chest and stared down.
"...That's a first. For all of those."
Attractive... she had never seen herself as such. In her life, she had never encountered anyone that would give her a compliment based on either appearance OR an attractive personality, and Emer just did both... without breaking a sweat. She wasn't entirely sure, but his tone seemed to imply he was serious - that he would consider someone like her attractive if he even wanted a mate, and that just made it even worse for her already confused mind.
"T-Tch... damn you, I'm not going to be beaten that easily...!"
If she didn't turn this into a competition now to see who was better with flattery, then she'd probably start melting into the sand from how embarrassed she really was. Suddenly looking up again with fire in her eyes - and some tears in the corners of them - she stared intently at the face of the Kagami warrior.
"Not a bar, then. But I WILL get you to become a bit more normal. You know, that's probably your only really bad trait, how blunt you can be, and that just makes this all worse. You're a freaking giant - I've heard that being called attractive, but not exactly my type - you're strong, you care for others... Bah, I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. Fine, you win."
Throwing her hands up in the air, the girl sighed, still bright red in the face.
"I take it back. If every Kagami is as good with flattery as you are, then once we free them all, men from Earth won't get a single date anymore, ever. You absolutely know what to say, but don't you dare think that I actually believe any of it, got that?"
She wasn't actually sure if she didn't believe her teacher, which just made this worse. Was she actually attractive to him? Emer had never lied to her before... But he probably did when she called his ability to flatter someone into question, of course. There was no way someone actually found a rude, aggressive martial artist like herself attractive, and she most certainly wasn't a caring, protective individual! Really, for that alone she should beat him up, but then she'd just end up having to nurse him back up... And prove his point. Yeah, she was just digging herself a deeper and deeper hole internally at this point, blushing again brightly without him even having to say anything. "...You really don't play fair..."
