"Sputter... Sputter... Sputter... Sputter..." "Beep!" "Beep!" "Beep!" This was the sound of Denim's space ship engine coming to life and warning her something was wrong. She was sitting in her pod twiddling her fingers as she flew over the planet Kanassa hoping to get to Earth. A light glowed on her ship's small, cramped control panel and she realized as she looked down at it that whatever the issue was both the fuel line button and guidance system button were going crazy. She went to press both and a loud, "Hiss!" erupted from the back of her ship.
The lilac woman then felt the ship lurch forward as it suddenly became lighter. "Oh no..." she groaned not realizing what she had done. She gripped the control panel tightly as the fuel in in the back of her ship plus its guidance system came out of the back end of her space pod. The shipped dipped even further forward as it descended rapidly from its projected orbit and headed straight for planet Kanassa without stopping. The whole ship was in flames as it passed through an extremely thin atmosphere in flames.
Seconds later it landed with a big, "Crunch!" in the middle of a patch of dead soil and the ship's hatch ejected outwards causing Denim to jump up and run out of it.
"What-what just happened?" she cried to herself finding herself in the middle of a barren wasteland. She breathed in the thin air and found herself able to breath it, however, it was really hard so she decided as she panted and walked around the back that she might need to get off this world. The reason being that it certainly was not Earth. The problem, she came to realize as she bent over the back of her ship, was that both the most important parts for her guidance and fuel systems were gone. They were completely torn out with a missing panel that had randomly decided to fall out.
"Damn it," she growled kicking the side of her ship with her foot causing it to slide across the ground three feet before stopping. The gravity seemed to be weak here she noted too. It made her wonder, "What kind of planet have I come to and how do I get off it?" as she looked around the barren wasteland and saw absolutely nothing.

Denim placed her face in her hands as she stooped above the back end of her ship wondering, "How am I going to get home to my parents now?" Luckily for her she had food supplies, but had no way to repair or build her ship.
She sighed and started walking through the wasteland looking up at an eerie green, blue sky. The air was almost not breathable due to the fact there appeared to be relatively few trees and those that existed were dying. She took to conserving her breathes finding it suddenly hard now to keep walking as she thought, "Maybe I should return to the ship?"
Something though made her stop as she heard a loud, "Squish!" underneath her tennis shoes. She lifted up her foot to find the planet's only living inhabitants. Strange worms that looked like they were burrowing through the dirt. She jumped back forty feet, landing on her feet,, and as she did they climbed onto the top of her shoes and clung to them. She reached her delicate hands down to rip them off and as she did felt them gnaw on the edges of her skin. They though went flying thanks to the hand strength of her fingers and were not seen again.
Bleeding though Denim gripped her hand and began to cry. "I-I want to go home now. I don't know what this place is but it seems so... awful."
A chill ran down her spine as she heard someone say behind her, "You want to go home... Me too!"
Denim's face paled feeling a hand touch her shoulder. She turned slowly to find herself at gun point before a blond haired man with space ray and a broad-rimmed cowboy hat.
"Howdy!" he cried sneering at her, "Fine figure you got here. I've been trapped on this planet since yesterday and have no way of getting out of here."
"Oh boy," Denim thought, "he's one of those men." She pulled back from him hoping to get into a defensive stance and protect herself, however, this man was much faster and slammed his knee into her stomach.
"Ah-ah don't leave." He stated catching her with his free arm and letting her dangle. Denim lay in his forearm feeling like she was going to puke from the hard blow she suddenly received. Her eyes narrowed with contempt as she looked up at the man. He ignored her and continued to say, "I'm a supply runner for the Arcosian Empire. I got stuck on this planet though due to fuel loss. Got any fuel for my ship?"
Denim shook her head no. She should have never come out into space. This man was clearly a space pirate.

"Aw man, that just means I'm going to have to build one from scratch to get out of here. Pay me and I might build one for you before the desolate clouds of poison around here swallow us up!" the space pirate cackled.
"I don't have any money though..." Denim remarked kicking her legs forward in an attempt to now escape. The space pirate was tough though and when they swung forward she felt like her feet were hitting a solid steel wall.
Tears formed in Denim's blue eyes and she let out a whimper, "Please, let me go. If there really are poisonous clouds here I want to get out of here and head home to my planet Earth sir."
The space pirate scratched his head then uttered, "Fine," before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a wad of zeni. He handed it to her then stated, "pay me up front to escape this place."
Denim took the money shaking with fear as she replied aloud, "What do you want me to do with it and why are you giving it to me?"
"It's a loan stupid. You pay me back that money I gave you at this very moment and I will ask for a reward later. In particular, a good romp with you."
"I kind of can see that but wouldn't it be easier to knock me out, take my ship, repair it and leave me?" Denim retorted handing him back the money. Her face was pale as she clearly knew what the man wanted. At 27 she did know what sex was but she didn't just feel one could do it with anyone at any time.
She sighed though and thought, "I may as well do this... I have no choice in the matter." She clearly knew this too after taking a moment to sense the man's energy and found that it was well near 10,000. Denim was certain death was going to occur for her if she seriously tried to take him on and he her.
The man smiled and stated, "If anything should happen after our little romp know this. I ain't responsible and you're gonna' have to pay for it. I really want to see how good you look cause to me you seem fine."
The man cackled and Denim quickly began to count off the days in her head. The last time she had a situation like this occur was in college but it was not nearly as bad as this one because of the fact she had been closer in age to the perpetrator and this guy appeared to be at least four years older then her. He had no beard on his face or facial hair but now that she examined his body could see he was quite fit for a man his age sporting pretty large arms and legs.
"Okay, I-I get the picture. I'll pay for anything that should occur. I really don't want to but you seem to leave me no choice in the matter. I'm Denim and I'd be happy to date, marry, or ha-have children with you since you're pushing towards that."
"Denim... I just want a good time. Anyway, think what you will." The cowboy stated as he dropped her on the ground. Denim landed on all fours and the man stated, "I'm Plaid. Space cowboy at your service." He then walked over to Denim's machine and circled it before pulling out some of the panels and examining them.
"I think I can make a two person space ship for us but it's going to cost me all the money in my pockets." He pulled out a wrench and a few other tools clipped to a belt he was wearing and dropped his gun to begin work on their escape ship. Meanwhile, in the distance, a purple and black cloud rolled over the horizon.

The space cowboy did not give out his name, but slowly the two worked together to pull out panels from her ship and transfer them to his ship, which was at a spot one hundred feet behind her own. She wondered why she had not seen it there before, however, she slowly realized that was because she had been focused on a threat, him to be exact. Anyway, the two decided to make the ship an oblong shape with just enough room to sit two people. So they used his various tools on his belt in order to do so. It did not have to be fancy, in her opinion, but she figured he did not really care at all, unlike her about the ship for he didn't seem to ask her about how she wanted it to look. They just built it together without second thoughts on the matter. The process was an arduous one and only got more so with the advance of the black, poisonous cloud headed their way. Yet after two hours of hard work they managed to get the oblong shaped ship together, coat it with silver plating and prep it for space travel.
"Wow," she thought to herself while looking at it, "I must have gotten stronger recently if I can build this kind of thing quickly."

"Hm, what's that?" the blond asked Denim as he scratched his head and looked up from his work. In the distance he could see a cloud of black and purple gas coming their way and noticed that Denim was watching it too.
"I think we should see if we can fire up this ship and get it to work," Denim announced placing her right hand on the side of the hull. Otherwise, we could die within the next few hours here.

Denim then stepped inside the ship they created, opening the hatch, and turned a set of keys now located inside the main engine. The ship was a like a flying space car more then anything else, but fortunately this car whirred to life and and gave off a soft humming noise. This indicated it worked. Denim smiled and the space cowboy with her shouted, "It works!" as he raised both his fists into the air from outside the ship.
"This is so great..." Denim stated as tears rolled from within t he cockpit. "Now we don't have to die on this empty vessel."
The man then followed her inside the ship, opening the hatch for himself just as storm passed over head and spread a dark, thick mist around them. Luckily, the ship had working life support systems so as the door closed behind him the gas was kept away from the two of the and completely filtered out of the ship for the moment.
He voiced as he sat in a big, cushion seat behind her, "I hope now that we've done this together I can get my reward."
Denim blushed, "That's right..." she thought to herself, "I did promise him some cuddling after we got this thing to work, but we don't even know if it flies yet, which is the important part."
She focused on him though and said, "All right, I can participate in this. Yet are you sure about doing this now? Our ship's a little cramped. And besides, I don't even know your name." She pointed an accusing finger at him wanting to give him the bird now but didn't. She normally tried not to do this kind of thing but she had said what she said before because she wanted to survive. Now she thought she might need to reward, otherwise, they might not leave the wretched place or he might leave it and really decide to leave her behind like suggested early.
"Come see me in the back seat and we'll get started there's plenty of space back here." He cackled patting the arm rest of his seat. Denim climbed back there and plopped herself right on his knees. He was not overly large like some men she had in her lifetime and stood at a full five feet, nine inches when standing tall. He had a cool, tan skin color that glistened from a bit of sweat from the hard work he had put in for this ship. Yet the odd thing was now that she got a close look at him Plaid was not the usual looking ruffian, no scars, nothing to indicate battle wounds of the sort that were typical of this job. Something felt wrong.
"Um..." she stated putting her head next to his beating heart, "I know we haven't know each other long but are you really the kind of person you say you are. You've been sort of rough but not all that much."
"Nope, I'm not a space cowboy delivering weapons anywhere. Have you seen any weapons besides the gun on me? Have I actually used it on you at all after pointing it at you?" Plaid laughed now suddenly dropping the drawling accent he had been using before then. He took his hat off to reveal a very handsome face "I only used it because this planet and others near it are wild lands, and um, very dangerous. So I took the guise for myself in order to survive."
She noticed his gun was not at his hip anymore as he took off the holster belt it was in and tossed that aside too with his hat. "I'm not sure what to say Plaid other then that I'm glad I guess. I suppose it is dangerous out here but there's safe planets too like planet Konats nearby."
"Really?" Plaid responded as he gripped the buttons of his shirt he was wearing and undid them. "If you want you can take me there.
"I can't... I have to go home to my planet Earth."
"Then take me there."
Denim blushed some more squeezing him tightly. She felt she needed to appease this man because although he had not been too rough with her he could still be dangerous with his power level. That said, she now noticed as she sensed for it that it was dropping dramatically down to at least 100 PL. Something she had not expected him to do. "I-I can take you there si-sir, er, Plaid. Yet let's get this over with."
Denim then proceeded to slip off her jacket, she raised her arms over her head next too and began pulling off her shirt. She gave him a light kiss on the lips while doing this yet after that was truly unsure what happened next for a loud, banging object hit the ship and tipped it to one side. The systems still worked but it knocked out the power for the rest of the night on this desolate rock.
