History:
Aicee was born on Arcose 24 years ago, in the bosom of a militaristic family. They were quite wealthy and pretty high on the aristocratic ladder. All of this was thanks to his father, Glaceeal being a successful General working under the Arcosian Empire. His father was a very strict individual when it came to following the Arcosian ways. He forced Aicee and his two siblings, Geleed and Arteek, to train in the military academies from the tender age of 10, which Aicee particularly disliked. Being the middle child of three of the three siblings he was well aware that he was not the chosen son to become the heir of the family, who's duties had fallen over his older brother Geleed.
Despite Aicee disliking the strict attitude of his father when it came to training, he always found a way of finding joy in the battle practice, because even though he was just the middle child, he was always able to overthrow his brothers in combat, and this, this would always fill him with a sense of accomplishment and pride. A sense of superiority, you could say.
By the age of 16 his excellence in battle was starting to be noticed across the academies, as he was being able to hold off on equal grounds against battle hardened instructors. He sure showed a lot of potential for someone of his age, and he knew it. Perhaps he should be the one who should become the heir to his family, rather than his older brother after all.
The older and stronger he grew, the cockier he became, and the more he felt that the place as the family's heir was rightfully his. His father was clearly proud of his son's achievements, and would praise him often, in his own way. Of course, Geleed could see his brother's ambitions from miles away, and was greatly displeased by them. It wasn't unusual for Arcosians to fight each other within their own families due to their thirst for power, but he knew he couldn't match Aicee in battle. There had to be some other way of getting rid of him without having to engage in direct confrontation.
The opportunity arose when a family friend asked Glaceeal for the aid of one of his sons on escorting a mining operation for a rare mineral n some distant planet. The mission was to make sure everything went accordingly, and that none of the planet's inhabitants would rebel against them. This would be perfect for the younger son, Arteek, so that he could amount some experience. He definitely needed it, as the youngest wasn't that strong, always lagging behind the two eldest brothers, not to mention he had a somewhat cowardly demeanor. Maybe this way the young arcosian could grow a backbone and learn how to fend for himself. However, Geleed pronounced himself when father brought this proposition to the table. He said that it would be best to send the strongest of the siblings instead, as it would show how strong the family was. They had to represent the family properly, as a ways of maintaining their status in the social hierarchy, but also for their own prideful selves. Arteek seemed to sigh in relief but Aicee was livid when Glaceeal agreed to this. He knew exactly what Geleed was trying to do. He was trying to exile him.
Aicee had no way of refusing this, both for the respect he had for his father and the importance of the mission he was supposed to escort. He was 22 when he left his home planet of Arcose for the first time. As he expected, once he got to the dig site there was no need for him to be there, and the last thing he needed was to waste the following decade there. The planet was mostly deserted from any form of life, other than a couple of primitive non-sapient species who were struggling to keep themselves alive. It really seemed like it was just taking its first steps into evolution. Sad they wouldn't have the chance to evolve any further.
He had no choice but to stay there though. For the following months Aicee used this time to train in the best way he could, sparring with other guards or flying laps around the planet. Not that it really helped much, after all, the planet's gravity was around ten times lower than what he was usually accustomed with, and the other guards didn't put that much of a challenge. All in all, Aicee was starting to grow impatient.
It was coming near the first year of his mission that he heard the news; Arcose had been attacked by the Saiyans leaving it an inhospitable place. The mission was immediately put on hold as everyone rushed back to their home world. The sight Aicee was presented with was a lot worse than what he expected, his planet once bustling with life was completely dead, with the exception of an enormous tree that that wasn't there before, and could be seen from outer space. The Tree of Might. Aicee flew the fastest he could to his family house, but what he found was merely ruins of it's previous glory. He entered the house from a huge hole on the roof, and searched everywhere inside for signs of his father and siblings, but none was to be found. At first he felt shocked, this was too much for him to handle, he was sure that if he was there he'd be able to do something, after all he was the strongest of his family. Then, he was filled with anger against the Saiyans, how could they have done something so merciless. Was this their revenge for what happened millennia ago? Finally, he felt nothing. There's no way he could have done anything against the Saiyan Queen, because no matter how praised he was for his strength, there was no way he could match Lady Death herself...
For the next year he roamed aimlessly, doing some odd jobs as a mercenary, merely getting paid enough to get by. Most of the jobs he got were rather easy for him to accomplish, like making sure some goods got to their destination safely, making sure certain lowlifes paid their debts, or hunting someone down to collect their bounty. What happened with them after that, it was none of his business. As long as he got paid. Aicee had pretty much reached rock bottom of what he previously was, and deep down in his mind he still knew he had the potential for something grander.
Would he get back to his former glory? I guess it's time to find out, as his adventures continue to unfold.
