"Little Ember..."
"You are destined to shake this realm! As a ruler! You are a Rakshasa! You are an embodiment of war!"
"Of Strength, Courage, and Honor!"
You will be the pride of our clan and the strongest demon of them all!"
"...If..."
"...You stay true to your blade."
"Our ancestor has smiled upon you and though you are not the biggest: I know that one day..."
"...You will do great things."
"Wa-wa! Do you really think so Papa? Can I really be as great as you say?!"
"..."
"...But..."
"...I'm the smallest..."
"...Bridget is much better and stronger than me..."
"How can I be the one to make you proud?"
"...Little Ember, do not fret."
"This is your destiny..."
"A-Akemi..." "...I just can't do it!" "I can't keep my focus!"
"How am I supposed to clear my mind if..."
"...If I'm too scared of losing myself?!"
"How can I let go..." "If I can't control what's inside?!"
"Maeve." "Relax." "Try Again." "Give in to the FLOW." "I Know YOU can DO this!"
"I believe in you." "Don't give in to the fear."
"Let your heart guide you..."
"Because with it: YOU have the POWER to CHANGE THIS WORLD!" "You are a Protector."
"You are a HERO!"
Maeve's eyes opened slowly. She stood up from her meditative position and looked out to the heavenly horizon. Stars began to dot the darkening, watercolor sky as the sun slowly set in the distance painting the air with a splash of color. The demoness gracefully began to make her way to the center of the lookout. The air was still and everything was silent save for the soft clacking of the dragoness' claws echoing on the sea of white tiles that stretched all across the lookout. There was serenity in this silence but Maeve couldn't help but feel like the air was heavy with expectation. What she intended on doing weighed on her mind. The nag of doubt coupled with the fear of rejection strangled her movements slightly but her determination ended up winning out.
She stopped on the center most tile of the Lookout and outstretched her hands. With a shimmering light, her great cleaver, Fateburn would form in her hands. She took hold of the blade and swung it low to her side. The lingering magic from her summoning trailed around the tip in a stream of sparkles that illuminated the face of the demoness before each faded into the night. She effortlessly guided the large blade into the air with a vertical swipe, a twist of her hips, and arch of her back. Her feet were positioned not unlike a dancers as she portrayed the air of grace and posture of one.
"...Are you sure about this Maeve?" A voice broke the silence right before Maeve began.
The fox eared demon: Akemi Inari stood a few paces back from Maeve, her emerald eyes devoid of the usual playful glint.
"...You don't need to do this if you don't want to..." She added, a drop of concern slipping into her tone.
"...It's not up to me." Maeve simply said, keeping her gaze to the sky. Her scarlet aura painting the sky high above. In an instant, she created a shining red beacon for the world to see and feel. It was her summons to her friends, to her allies, and to any others that felt they could scale the peak and join them in the starlight.
"...This is my destiny."

"Or ignore you entirely, sir.""Torta, Jogur... You're both idiots... Regardless, I will simply train this boy in due time. Mark my words he will become one of the strongest Arcosians to ever live! "You know what I meant, Hayll.""Northanius Poliere, you cease that unsightly talk right this minute! That is no way to speak of your brother!""As you wish, mother... But he's just so... Weak..."
"UGH!! This is STUPID I can't shoot that far!" "Well try until you can, Defrosch! Now all of you, FIRE AGAIN!"
"Father, I suggest you leave it be, he is not fit for this-" "Silence, Northanius! You will make the calls when you have the same position as I do, NOT BEFORE! Now, as I was saying, TRAINEES, FIRE AGAIN"
.....
"Gods these recruits are abysmal... I should beat them within an inch of their lives and see how they react..."
"HEY!! LEAVE THEM ALONE!!"
"Ahh.. Finally showing some backbone, Defrosch... Lets see how far this silly notion of 'heroism' takes you."
"Hey Haldaa? Isn't that one of Lord Sleete's sons- er, the youngest one The one that is our age?"
"Sir Defrosch? Yeah, I believe so, Lady Rime. Why do you ask?"
"E-eh, no reason. I simply believe that he is squandering his gifts, that is all. Nothing more... Why are you staring at me?"
"You're totally a fan of his aren't you."
"What?! Preposterous! As if I would ever-"
"Well you better decide quick because here he comes."
"EEEHHEH?!"
"Hey. You dropped this."
"O-oh! Thank you!"
"Don't mention it."
"You ignorant boy! You thought I wouldn't notice your sudden leap in strength?! Now you dare talk back as if you truly hold power?! I did not raise you like that!"
"SHUT UP, JUST SHUT UP AND GO AWAY!! YOU DIDNT RAISE ME AT ALL!!""You're going to be the most fearsome Arcosian general to ever live- you're meant to rule not serve! It is your destiny, Defrosch! Now cease this idiocy and come with me!""NO! I'M LEAVING. I WON'T SETTLE FOR YOUR SECOND HAND CURSE!"
"I WILL MAKE MY OWN WAY, MY OWN DESTINY!"
Defrosch, the Arcosian vagabond was down in the deep caverns where he had made his home on the edge of the Fortuneteller’s Desert. Here, he was sorting through the collection of items he had managed to have on hand in his fleeing of Arcose almost a decade ago. It was a small collection, generally only containing broken and decrepit items. He was unsure why he had kept them, perhaps simply as a reminder of his past, despite how much rage could flow from him in regards to it. It had taken a few years to build up the will to do so, but now, in this moment he had something that he had to do before making any attempt to move forward. He had to let go of this hate before it truly overtook him. Packing the items he had collected in his time on Earth into a special set of carrying bags, he held a hand above the pile of enraging junk that tethered him so tightly to his past, letting a quick and decisive burst of ki from his hand to erase it all, breaking the mental chain that these items held, he finally gained the chance to be free and grow. Now, he had the chance to do something that really mattered; to truly fight for peace. As he rose from his former home, he sensed a familiar ki spreading itself. Looking upwards to the supposed source he saw a beacon that- oddly enough- seemed to call to him. '... Maybe she found what she was looking for?' Without a moment to lose, he launched himself towards the holy ground of the Timeless Lookout. Defrosch had some questions of his own for Maeve. Hopefully now was the right time to ask them. He arrived with the soft click of his boots, greeting Maeve and Akemi with a short bow, but he would be silent for the time-being.

“You will get better with time, and as you grow in body and spirit…"
"... There is a whole world out there, filled with wisdom and constantly changing. It is time you found your place in it.”
Less flying and more floating, Aiami drifted some ten feet above the waters of the sea west of, amusingly, West Capitol. It was probably the most west she had ever been, but in truth, she had no clue. Her navigational skills were still a joke, even with the map she often made use of, but it was better than nothing. In fact, she had been looking at the map and considering her next place to visit when she noticed a strange crimson light reflecting off the water, and lighting up her map. Certain it wasn't the setting sun, she twisted mid-air and looked toward the source of it. She saw a beam originating high into the sky, and reaching even further into the heavens.
Figuring this was a sign, the young martial artist tucked her map neatly away in her travel bag before securing it to her form. With a burst of energy she was off, rocketing toward the light and leaving a wake behind her as she did. Eventually, Aiami ascended, higher and higher until she could see the bottom of the strange, floating structure that must be where the light was coming from. She ascended to the top and softly set down on the Lookout, glancing around. The source of the light was a woman, pointing a sword to the stars. She wasn't human, but Aiami couldn't tell much beyond that. There were two other figures, as well, and thankfully she distantly recognized one of them.
Giving the woman a wide berth, Aiami moved next to the Arcosian and leaned in to whisper. "We've met before, haven't we? It's... Defrosch, right?" She really hoped that was right, but she was usually good with names, so she pressed on. "What's going on? What is this place? I didn't learn about any flying, upside down domes when I was in school..."

[Thread's pl: 214,209 x12p ]'' Can you feel the warmth coming from this one? He's not like the others...''''You're just imaginationg things now, he's the exact same...''

'' Core Stold, my son, another flame as awoken, and she's going to be the protector of youur planet, go and meet her.
The Arcosian known as Core woke back up from his meditation, the voices… he’s recognize them in hundreds… the creator… was this memories of his past? Maybe he went too deep into his meditation and came across old secrets buried deep within… maybe he was now close to something bigger. There was so many though going on Core’s mind at the moment, his head was hurting a bout from all of them waving around before the last sentence he heard from the voice made him curious. [ Wait… they never called me Core Stold before… and… another flame awakening? What could that mean anyway…] Core would think to himself before stretching him, it was time to investigate, this message meant something and Core was going to find the meaning of it, even if it was to take the whole rest of the day, he didn’t had anything planned anyway so that wasn’t that big of a lost.
The first thing Core did was a quick look around, he saw something that was oddly abnormal, a huge beacon of fiery light was coming from a high point in the sky and lighting it a similar way to the time were Core sent out an attack in the sky and scorched the sky for a moment with the explosion. ‘’ Another flame has awoken…’’ He would repeat to himself lowly, suddenly realizing that his vision was just a command from his inner self to go meet the person who did this beacon, maybe it was something meaning more, he had to go there, something more important than he could believe was happening there and he needed to know more now, and there was no stopping him from going to this place now. Core jumped in the sky, heading toward the base of the beacon.
After a few seconds of flying, Core happened to cross the lookout, something like he had never seen before, and he could see four people on the lookout, two of them looked familiar, and the third… well… the one he was looking for obviously. The young Arcosian landed on the Lookout’s plateform and looked around for a minute before joining the group, looking first at Maeve, holding a sword to the sky, before the others. ‘’ Can someone tell me what’s going on here? I was in the middle of meditation when… eh… too complicated to explain… ‘’ Core would say before looking individually at Defrosch. ‘’ Hello Defrosch… long time no see! I may look a bit different but… it’s me, Core Stold, from the park…’’ Core would say with a bit of a smile to him before turning to the other person next to him. Core would look at the human girl and smiled. ‘’ Hi, I’m Core Stold’’ The Arcosian simply said, hoping she wouldn’t recognize his shape and ki-signature from his vigilante counter-part, that would be really unfortunate to have his secret blown away so easily a mere week after it all started up.
The eyes of the Arcosian would then shift slowly to the girl, holding the sword upward like a beacon, and the foxlike humanoid standing next to her. ‘’ And you two uh… I supposed you heard my name… uh… who are you? ‘’ Core would ask innocently, looking at the sky that was scorched in red for a second and smiled a bit. ‘’ Nice light effect though, it really gives the planet a new ambiance… I love it…’’ Core would admit a bit childishly, not realizing there was a greater signification to this particular move, but nobody could blame him for it.

Post by Ninjin Nedrag on May 13, 2016 18:14:05 GMT
Ninjin had been resting on a one of the benches made from the local trees near her house when she felt the strength appear in the distance. The ki was familiar to her but she could not place a name to the ki she felt rising as she lifted her head and looked up into the darkened sky. The early morning training sessions where a refreshing thing for her but when she spotted the flaming mark in the evening sky she had a gut feeling as to where it was coming from. Standing up slowly she took in a breath before releasing it and taking off toward the lookout.
Her ki swirled around herself more controlled and had a more certain air about her as she flew in getting closer to the Lookout. As she neared it she felt two more familiar ki’s appear and land upon the lookout. :: Defrosch and Core… I understand why Defrosch would be there as the Lookout is his home… But why is Core there. I think I need to move faster and arrive quickly. ::
With a burst of ki she took off going almost vertical as she would pop up into the sky beside the Lookout’s tiled floor. Seeing the others she would float over and land. Bowing toward Defrosch and then Maeve and the Kitsune at her side. Glancing around the Lookout she had no idea why it was she had felt the urge to get there but inside her gut she knew that it was a good thing.

[Thread PL: 266,975|||PL Suppressed to: 5]
Etoru was currently sitting inside one of the many rooms in the lookout. This room was his old room before he moved out. However, he was debating on whether or not he should move back in with Reikiko dead as well and all. By now, he was done grieving about Bing's death, and could tolerate seeing the lookout. He was pacing around the room, trying to keep his power level at a barely noticeable energy to avoid detection from the one person he knew lived here. Defrosch. Etoru really didn't want to get into some awkward conversation or whatever. Not until he was sure he was coming back at least.
Etoru exhaled loudly. He has been training quite hard for the past two months, and it's really paying off. But within those two months, he's really lost touch with a few people. In fact, he barely talked to anyone come to think of it. While trapped in his own thoughts, he felt energy being emerged. Crimson light flooded his room, the color flickering. Etoru's mouth was gaped open slightly in surprise. "That feels like...Maeve's energy..." Walking towards the door, he swung it open before walking calmly down the stairs. Surprisingly, people showed up rather quickly. With the way things were going...Etoru had a general idea of what this was about. Still, he had his doubts. But it's only common sense to assume that when an important role for an organization, much less an ENTIRE PLANET, disappears, someone has to take over quickly. The Kami of Earth has fallen, and it's been quite some time to find a decent replacement. And clearly, the only one fit for that, was Maeve.
Still. It kind of hurt Etoru a bit too see Bing replaced. Now, Etoru knew for a fact that they weren't doing it to replace him, but instead, the role he inherited. Even so, Etoru wasn't even sure if that was Maeve's intentions, and decided he should just simply keep his mouth shut about it until he got more information. Wearing his serpent gi, he finally approached the doorway. Slowly stepping out, he saw quite a variety of people. His lifeless gaze met everyone's form. He recognized pretty much everyone here except that creepy, ugly looking, weird, Defrosch looking thing, which given with the scarce information he had at disposal, was an Acrosian. Alongside that, a strange fox/human looking creature standing behind Maeve. "I think I have a clue on what's going on here..." Etoru spoke out to Maeve, his expressionless face locked on right at her.

The Solar Cyborg nearly hugged the ground as he flew, his eyes fixated on the small circular device in his hand. The device was called a Dragon Radar, and it was used to detect the energy waves given off by the Dragon Balls. Without this nifty device, it'd probably be entirely impossible to find the Orbs in question. The radar was currently recharging itself, but he still kept it close just in case something were to show up suddenly.
He groaned angrily as he soared over a large lake. "Ugh. Where the hell did Zucceta hide herself? I know she said we were supposed to keep hidden, but I'd like to know she's not rotting in a ditch somewhere because some punk got the drop on her or something."
His eyes glanced to his sides. He found himself in Fukurou Forest now, it seemed. Pleasant memories started to flood his mind, but he quickly shook them off. He had to focus on finding these Dragon Balls. With any luck, he might have enough free will to make his own wish before the Queen had a chance to. Being so focused on the ground, he only barely noticed the deep crimson-colored Ki beacon that suddenly lit up the sky above him.
Bing stopped on a dime in mid-air, glaring at the light with a mixture of immense curiosity and wild contempt. Someone was on his old Lookout, trying to call people's attention! He felt out the Ki of this damn impostor who was trying to take his job... And his body was frozen.
It was Maeve.
"Replaced by my own fiancé... I guess at the very least I know things are in good hands."
He quickly landed on the ground, simply staring up at the massive beacon that was already attracting quite a bit of attention. He wasn't angry, nor jealous, nor envious. He was simply happy. Happy that Maeve was able to gather her friends for... Whatever was about to occur.
Bing pondered for a moment. What was she calling Warriors for, anyways? Possibilities raced through his head, but he was having trouble deciding on what it could be. Eventually, he gave up trying to figure it out. His curiosity was making it hard to think straight. The Cyborg slowly floated back into the air, making his way towards the mystical floating platform known as Kami's Lookout.
In just a few short moments, he arrived at the top, landing right behind the massive palace-like structure everyone was gathering in front of. From this location there would be no way he'd be seen, and with his Ki not only suppressed, but entirely undetectable by anyone without a scouter, there'd be no way he'd be sensed either. Of course, from here, he couldn't actually see anything, but he had to start somewhere.
He wanted to slowly inch around the corner to try and catch a peek at the gathered Warriors, but he hesitated. The thought of seeing Maeve again made him... Nervous.
His metallic hand instinctively rubbed at the back of his organic one, where the scar of a mark sat. It used to be a symbol; signyfing his bond with Maeve. But now it was simply a reminder of the pain he caused her by failing on Kanassa. "C'mon... C'mon... You can do this. All you have to do is inch closer to the opposite end of this large building and peek at her. It'd just be one second, and then I can go..."
Soon enough, more people were starting to show. Some of them he even recognized: Defrosch, Ninjin... And Etoru. His blood ran cold at the thought of seeing both Maeve and Etoru at the same time. He could only imagine how furious that little boy must be for being abandoned again.
Running a hand through his hair, he sighed quietly as he slumped to the floor. "This is the worst idea I have ever had..."
Bing has joined to see his wifey... But he's a little more than nervous. Currently hidden behind the palace, so unless you (for some strange reason) decide to check back there, you won't be aware of his presence. Seeing as I am currently hidden, consider me sorta out of the post order. If I take too long when it comes around to my turn don't be afraid to just skip me.

Post by Maeve Rakshasa on May 16, 2016 22:28:46 GMT
Maeve had kept her eyes closed and just let the flow of the world wash over her as she stood in the darkness and waited for the people who had come to settle. Her golden eyes slowly revealed themselves as her lids creased open lightly before with a flutter she'd open them wide and stare at all who were gathered. For the most part, she could recognize them though there were a few new faces dotting the group. She forced a smile before casting her gaze downward to the tiles below. "Hello everyone... It certainly has been a while since we've all met like this hasn't it? A few months at least I'd reckon..." The demoness stepped into the light, revealing herself better to the people gathered. The nervousness was clearly evident on her face given her tiny little frown and radiant cheeks. She had been wearing a loose, soft, and comfortable looking white sweater that cut off right below her shoulders and a pair of black leggings that managed to contain her scaly hips. All in all it seemed unbelievably casual given the solemn air she seemed to have been giving off moments earlier. Though one would be able to excuse the casual attire if they noticed the bump in her belly. Her signs of pregnancy were plainly visible as she had recently entered the 16th week of her term. "Again, I apologize for making myself scarce but...Due to all this... I needed some time to adjust."
She punctuated the 'all of this' with a motion to her belly bump. It was by no means an ideal situation but it was the one she was dealt so she had to manage somehow.
She cleared her throat wanting to change topics before beginning. "...I'm sure you are all curious why I have invited you all here. It wasn't just to share in the news that I'm expecting I promise you." A giggle saturated in nervousness slipped from her throat before she continued. "Most of you know me already, but I seem to have attracted a few new faces as well. Welcome." She said looking to Aiami Lin then down to the diminutive Core. "I am Maeve, Countess of the Rakshasa Clan and leader of the Zetto Senshi." She gave the two a little curtsy to finish her introduction.
"As you all might know, Bing Gan, the former Kami, has perished and...May not come back." She paused, thinking of Walker's revelation before shaking her head. "A-As much as I love him I know...I know that we need to move on. The world is going through some chaotic times as of late. People are drifting apart and turning on each other there is no one to guide the defenders together... No one to pick up the pieces." She said frowning a bit as she thought of all the losses that seemed to occur one after another since the day she lost her fiance.
"...Bing left the Earth without a plan if he couldn't return. That was a mistake I intend to rectify." Her voice gained power as she looked to each and every person gathered.
"I intend to take his mantle as my own. I know...That I'm an outsider but...I've always seen the value in life and I don't take this wondrous world for granted. In essence...This is my home just as much as the demon realm is. I've forged bonds that I'll never forget here...That's why I want to protect it. As a guardian. As Kami." She concluded stepping again towards the center of the group.
"If anyone has any qualms with my claim they are free to express them. I'm not ready just yet but my master: Akemi, seems to think she can find some old rituals that could make me ready. I don't wish to start them if anyone has a reason that I shouldn't..."
Akemi's ears twitched, an uneasy frown played on her lips until her name was mentioned. The kitsune blinked, ears perking before standing next to Maeve. "Yes, Maeve is correct. I believe I've heard of rituals where even a demon can attain purity to become something better. If there are any answers I can surely find them in the library." Akemi said with a nod. "And, I may be biased but I think my star pupil is more than capable of taking this role. Even in the darkest of times Maeve has worked to preserve life. I can't think of anyone more caring and devoted than her." Akemi said, forcing a smile before resting her hand on Maeve's shoulder.
Maeve smiled graciously before turning to the others. "What say you?"

As more people started arriving, Defrosch raised an eyebrow. Etoru and Ninjin weren't much of a surprise, but the two individuals he didn't expect to show up were Aiami and Core. Sure enough, he would have preferred some form of telepathic message, at least something subtle... But, Maeve is who she is and this was her way of calling people, there was no sense in getting bothered by it.
Defrosch greeted Aiami with a formal bow. "Mhm. That's right. Good that you didn't run into that tin can again, eh?" He waved off Aiami's questions for the most part. "It'd usually be a long story, but I'll give you a crash course; this is the sacred platform that was made for the guardian of Earth to watch over and care for the planet with their allies; the Timeless Lookout..." He sighed, giving Aiami a gesture to wait for a moment. "Please excuse me. Oi, Core." Defrosch called in a rather disappointed tone. "I know you're a kid and all, but this is a serious meeting that you've stumbled upon. This is a sacred area, and it would be appreciated if you would show some respect and maturity like the rest of us. Is that understood?"
Provided that the message had been clearly received, Defrosch's attention turned to Maeve as she spoke out. Evidently she was pregnant... If it was anyone's child, it was Bing's. Defrosch couldn't help but wonder if Walker had told the swords-woman of the guardian's fate and even if Walker didn't, Defrosch couldn't bring himself to do so.
Defrosch patiently awaited Maeve to state her intentions, giving a light shrug of the shoulders. "You're a lot of things, but... I feel as though 'outsider' isn't one of them. I admire your conviction, your bravery and ability to face yourself and your flaws-- Rest assured, I haven't forgotten that. I know for a fact that you will approach this role with more grace than Toma and that you do not take this action in panic, nor for power. You do this because you see something that others do not; how precious this world truly is." He paused, thinking over some questions that he had intended to ask Maeve at some point, preferably soon. "However, I have some questions for you, but I am perfectly okay with asking you later. I also have one very... Obvious concern." He would say, gesturing to Maeve's belly. "Which I'd like to think everyone else would have as well. Will you be fine with looking after a newborn in the near future? I'd imagine you have people that you can trust to assist you?"

The aura of the smaller Arcosian felt... familiar, in a way. Aiami couldn't place it, not fully, but he was strong. She felt a very similar level very recently, but surely the mask wasn't the same person as this? Regardless, she offered a smile, but before she could respond she noticed a bow from the Arcosian at her side. Rather hastily, she returned the gesture, hoping she had kept at least a modicum of grace as she did so. "Ah, yes... him. I've been lucky to avoid a reunion." She nodded, though more keen to hear what answers he had regarding her questions, however. When he did address those, the human was left a little awe struck for a moment. She was going to respond before he went to tend to Core.
Defrosch may have been true to the definition of a crash course with how brief he was, but Aiami couldn't help but feel it was still a lot of knowledge to drop. Timeless Lookout? Guardian of Earth? How many people the surface below even knew this place existed? The bomb wasn't helped by even more information being dropped on her by Maeve. Aiami did her best to follow along, committing names and words to memory for her to ask about at a later date, whenever this ceremony wasn't taking precedence. As she waited for a moment to speak, she noticed the child now on the scene, who was also familiar. She nodded and smiled at him in way of friendly greeting.
After Defrosch had his turn, Aiami did a small shuffle forward, feeling more than a little out of place among the gathered. She did a small bow from her waist, inclining her head further as she did. When she stood straight once more, she took a breath before speaking. "I'm, ah... I'm Aiami Lin." She introduced herself, looking to each of the others as she did so, before back to Maeve. "This is all very new to me, I've only met a few of the people gathered. I just happened to be nearby and curious, honestly... Which is a way of saying I don't think I have any place weighing in on your right to become Kami, or your condition while undertaking it."
After a second's pause, the martial student continued. " But, if I may offer some words, so long as it does not offend... It seems you have given this decision worthy time and thought. And if you are looking for the opinions of others, you are still considering it, I think." She nodded, as if affirming her point. "My master taught me that with deep doubts comes deep wisdom. I'm not sure I've ever experienced that myself, but perhaps you have. I hope it applies here."
After inclining her head once more, she took the half step back to her original position, growing silent.

The more Core was thinking about it, the more he would realize that this place was probably more important than he first believe, seeing that this many people were moving to come over there, it was really questioning at first, even a couple of known power were here, especially Ninjin, which Core surprisingly wasn’t surprised to see here, after all, she was part of Earth’s defense and he knew it, and another kid here that didn’t seemed too happy about being in this place at all, in fact, he seemed even a bit angry, that’s the moment Core understood that this moment was probably something controversial and Core accidently stepped in, or maybe It was his destiny to enter this moment, Core wanted to become closer and closer to his home planet, and this might just be the place that could make it happen, or at least help a lot. At first, the Arcosian could have swear that there was someone else, a figure he though he saw for a second far back at this kind of temple, but he shook his head, probably his imagination; after all, he couldn’t feel anyone back there and no-one could get here without flight.
Core’s attention would then be drawn back to the scarlet beacon which got him here in the first place, which stepped towards her and was looking in their direction, it was probably the moment she was going to explain why she did such a thing to get their attention in the first place, maybe Core would finally understand what was going on and why he was drawn to this place, even if the girl in fact didn’t looked that imposing, with the casual comfortable clothing, which Core could totally understand why one would be wearing this at all time, and the obvious fact that this woman was carrying life, much like Phae or Arias back when he saw them, meaning she probably had a lot of similarities with the human race; that was important to note since Core has still no idea what she really was in term of species, but he figured she was nothing bad as she looked nicer than most people here, exception made for Aiami and Ninjin. When hearing her voice, the young Arcosian would smile, now he was sure there was no threat around, or else she wouldn’t talk in such a relaxed manner.
When she started to explain why they were called here, having the nice reaction to present herself to Core and Aiami, which the young Arcosian answered with a small but polite nod, he didn’t had the time to introduce himself as she clearly had something important to say, but he’d made sure to do it later. Hearing the news of the Earth’s kami being dead, Core would widen his eyes a bit, so that’s what all of this was about, the young Arcosian suddenly felt bad that he probably stepped in the funeral of someone he didn’t even knew, and was probably more important than he would even be, a blush would appear on his face, quite bright and visible, it was too late to go away, or else this would be seen as disrespect, and he was not that kind of person. Core kept listening closely to what Maeve had to say, every detail he could find interesting was a must. [ The Zetto Senshi uh... i wonder who that would be... or what they exist for...] He would think to himself silently, he figured most of the people around him were part of this organization, and maybe he could help them a bit, Core is fairly strong after all.
Suddenly, a smile would be brought back to Core’s lips, this wasn’t about the death of Bing, it was about Maeve here, taking the mantle of guardian of Earth, 'kami' as she puts it, which was certainly something Core saw as some sort of honor and lots of responsability being given to the person in question, he felt like this moment was important and going to be remmembered and he was sure honored that he was present to assist it. Core was glad he came to this place, now that he did, he would probably be able to bond even more with his new home planet, and maybe be a bit more ‘in’ in term of protecting it, making everyone know that he was there for good and not as a typical Arcosian, and he figured they wouldn’t be too much against it as they already had Defrosch.
Core was a bit annoyed by the fact that Defrosch straight up told him to be mature and show respect, Core would simply look away from him with a bit of a sigh. [Right… everyone thinks I’m going to act like a childish brat… what about this other saiyan? Pretty sure he’s about to cause a scene and no one bats an eye? Maybe they don’t know me very well, but still…] Core would think, really annoyed by Defrosch remark that he would chose to ignore, proving him wrong was the only way to solve this without making a fool of himself or acting all concerned about what he said. Core also saw the smile that he was given by Aiami, though it wasn’t the smile he was expecting, more greeting than accomplice, she didn’t recognize him, oh well, he’d tell her if he had the chance to, but more important thing were going on.
Waiting until Defrosch’s speech was over, Core would then step up from the gang and toward Maeve with a couple of step before bowing to her politely. ‘’ I salute you, guardian of Earth. My name is Core Stold, and I’d like you to know that, you have my full support. As an outsider as well, I wish to become closer with the people of this planet, as an Arcosian, I share the heavy glares people bear upon my kind and yours, the demons, as we are all seen as evil person regardless of our actions.’’ Core would say in a bit of a serious voice before slowly facing his head toward hers and smiling. ‘’ Nice to meet you Maeve Rakshasa, guardian of Earth.’’ He would then say with a bit of a lighter voice before going back to where he was in the beginning.

“It has been a bit Maeve. I see you are at least doing well. Well as well as we can see at the moment.” As Ninjin spoke she watched her step into the light out from the shadowed eaves of the lookout. Taking a moment to study her Ninjin instantly noticed the bump at her stomach. Her own instincts on the subject from her own pregnancy made her smile wide toward the demoness. Inside of her mind she had thought about who could be the father of the growing child but she came to the only real logical conclusion. That the child had to be of the former Kami Bing’s. When Maeve apologized to the gathered people Ninjin let out a light chuckle.
“It does take a lot to adjust to that. I can tell you that through the entire process I was not comfortable til it was all said and done… So you have a little bit of time before you will be back to being adjusted to all of what you are feeling.” The mother was quite obviously speaking from her own experiences during her own pregnancy. Though she had been told that her own was a rather difficult one and should not be considered anything of a baseline compared to others. Though she began to listen to the words of Maeve. Nodding in agreement she waited til after Defrosch spoke his own opinion.
“I agree with you Defrosch and Maeve we do need a leader. We may be a bunch of loosely affiliated people with our own agendas but the Zetto do need someone to help guide them toward a singular goal. I do not know you as well as Defrosch does but I can feel that you are a good soul and will hold this mantle with grace and strength…” She would turn toward her and give her a proper bow of acknowledgement. It was obvious what it was she was getting at with the manner with which she was acting toward Maeve. Despite not paying attention to any of the others on the lookout she would speak once more.
“Let me be the first to formally pledge to you as the new Kami of Earth. Maeve I will stand at your side and will fight alongside you and the other Zetto Senshi until the last breath leaves my lungs…”

Leaning against the doorway of the palace that stood on the seemingly endless sea of tiles, Etoru watched as people traded words with one another. He simply listened to their conversations since he didn't have much else to do. Maeve stepped out of the darkness and Etoru noticed her casual attire. Blinking blankly, his eyes trailed his way down until they lied upon her belly. His eyes widened. "Whoa, Maeve really let herself go...she's HUGE now! I hope she didn't eat all the food in the kitchen...I'm starving..." Etoru thought. He frowned at her, giving an annoyed, irritated glare. That might of looked weird considering Maeve didn't really 'do' anything and was receiving an annoyed glare from a child.
Etoru turned his head and closed his eyes stubbornly. However, Etoru slowly turned his head back when she started to speak again. She mentioned Bing which made Etoru clenched his fists a bit. She wasn't wrong though, they had to move on. He intended to move on alright. But not until the queen fell by his hands. She spoke about all the trouble Bing's death caused which Etoru knew was true. He shouldn't have gone without a backup plan. Heck, he shouldn't have gone without warning anybody either! Maeve finally stated that she wanted to protect Earth even though she may be an outsider. To do so, she wanted to do it as guardian of earth, Kami.
Etoru hung his head. He frowned before slowly picking it up. "So you're just gonna replace Bing..." He said quietly. He walked towards her slowly with a frown. When he was in front of her, a tiny smile curled up on the side of his lips. He attempted to embrace Maeve in a hug, wrapping his tiny arms around her waist. "...Thank you." He spoke out to the demoness. "I know Bing would be happy aaand...I guess that kind of makes me happy...so..." Slowly letting go, he took a teeny step back to further ask a question that's been bugging him. "And Ms.Maeve..." He pointed at her belly. "Why are you so fat all of a sudden...there's still food in the kitchen right..." He had a frustrated expression on his face.
It was then when Ninjin spoke out. She told Maeve that it was going to be hard to adjust. Etoru let out a goofy, dumb, "Heh...?" A confused, comical expression was plastered on his face. He slowly turned to Maeve again and looked at her belly. "Errm, you were fat before too Ms.Ninjin...?" Etoru suddenly felt bad for Toma. He probably starved since there was no food. And what about her babies! They probably starved too! Oh boy. Etoru knew this was about becoming Kami but...he just couldn't get that out of his head!

It seemed that the meeting was already underway. Bing found it odd that so many Z-Fighters were missing, but he honestly didn't have much knowledge on how well put-together they actually were now that he was "dead". For all he knew, Maeve, Defrosch and Etoru were the last three left. The absence of Walker specifically intrigued him. Last he heard, the tree decided to try and destroy Vegeta. He could only wonder what the consequences of his actions were.
He stood up, taking a deep breath as he decided to sidle around the palace to try and get a better sense of the situation. He moved only a few inches, but he could make out just a bit of what Maeve was saying.
"Apologize ... Scarce... All this..."
"Damn... I'm only getting bits and pieces of her speech! I need to get a bit closer..."
He moved even closer, just barely out of sight of the group, but close enough to hear everyone speaking. Etoru was currently questioning Maeve about her enlarged stomach, which made Bing utterly confused. Maeve was always a fit warrior, what would make her let herself go? Unless...
"Is she... Pregnant?!"
His head began to spin as he realized what a horrible person he truly was. He'd gotten his fiancee pregnant, and then went and got himself killed! Bing honestly doubted there was a worse husband out there at the moment.
The Cyborg moved back a bit, worried he might reveal himself by blurting out something stupid.

"E-Etorrrruuu..." The dragoness growled, breaking the solemn air a bit with her frustration. Maeve's eyebrow twitched at Etoru's comment about her weight. Her fists clenched into tight fists as she let her sharp teeth grind against each other once. Her face turned red in a mixture of embarrassment and anger as she suppressed her instincts to scold the naughty child. A soft hand placed itself on Maeve's shoulder causing her to cut her gaze towards the diminutive kitsune demon that had approached her. Akemi offered her pupil a reassuring smile which was enough to get Maeve to let out a heavy sigh and relax. The little demon looked to Etoru with a glint in her emerald eyes that would have a lot of weight to them. She pulled open her paper fan to cover her mouth as she walked over to the boy that was not too much smaller than herself.
"My dear boy. Maeve isn't fat. She's going to be a mommy." She revealed plainly, a genuine smile playing on her lips. "Now be a doll and appologize~" Her gentle smile turned sinister as she gave the boy the deadly look that teachers often gave their students when they were furious but suppressing it with a smile. It was the grin that acted as a bane for all trouble makers or hoodlums looking to cross them. A truly ominous air radiated from such a simple smile!
Maeve sighed before looking back to the rest gathered. "I thank you all for your acceptance, from the fellow outsiders of this beautiful world..." She said looking to the diminutive Arcosian with a gentle smile. "...To those that are just being introduced to all of this craziness...." She shifted her gaze now to Aiami. "...And of course to my supportive comrades." She said looking to Defrosch, Ninjin, and Etoru. "I promise...That if I pass the necessary trials ahead of me I will do my best to offer guidance and light to this world shattered from darkness. Just as the president Vi Poi unifies the populace I swear I will unify the defenders of this beautiful planet...Our home." She smiled softly, placing a hand now on Defrosch's shoulder.
"I won't let this gift weigh me down either... Kami or no I will raise this child with all the love and compassion I can muster. My other duties will not interfere." She said, her smile growing as she looked down to her bump. "Besides... I'll have help. Given Walker's recen- Tch..." She sighed headfins drooping a bit. "...I'm going to be looking for a new caretaker. Someone I can trust. I won't be alone up here."
She then turned to Ninjin. "..As for the Zetto Senshi I intend to bring new life into the group by bringing new ideals and hopefully new members. There seems to be a lot of untapped potential to be discovered still." She said casting her gaze to Aiami with interest. "Perhaps even you would like to fight alongside your lover with us..." She said looking back to Ninjin.
