Alexander's gaze was empty, as it ever was, his eyes following Articho as he moved, the foot narrowly missing the man's body. He didn't particularly care- the attack was more to add insult to injury, really. Or perhaps injury to insult, as dissolving the Kienzan had been enough insult. His gaze moved as he moved over to Arias, watching as Articho seemed to notice something from within her. The tiny lives, he knew, were already in there, and they were not going to survive. Whatever attacks that she had weathered, they were enough to snuff the life from her, and as her own body acted as an incubator and life support system for the children that lay within, there was no chance of them coming back out of this. "They've returned to the Void," Alexander's empty voice echoed out, the multitude of voices no longer present within his speaking. There was only his words now...perhaps he was gaining back control, or perhaps the Void allowed its puppet to speak- it was difficult to say.
Even as Articho had pulled out the scouter to begin speaking to the others back on Earth, Alexander began to move forward. He didn't care for the man's feelings. His fear, his anger, his repulsion at what had been done. The man could have all sorts of thoughts and feelings on the matter, but in full honesty, Alexander cared for none of it. He simply sought to direct the power of the Void, as much as he could, at the one that humiliated him. Who had told him that he had been 'in the way.' There was no anger, no malice in Alexander's motions as his footsteps brought him closer, heedless of the fact that the man was trying to pass on a message to those at Earth. It was like showing up to someone's birthday party and, in the middle of the birthday song, simply turning on the television. He had no need or care about this individual's needs, much as he had no need for his own. Alexander was now the living conduit of the Void. He would decimate all that stood before him.
Alexander's mouth opened then, to tell Articho to simply be quiet. To keel over and die, and be silent, but before he had the chance, the fellow had stopped with whatever he was doing, and clicked the message to send out to the masses. It seemed that he was finally done with his talking and complaining, and was finally going to get to what Alexander wanted to deal with most- to start the fight, here. Unlike others, who might be excited at the prospect of fighting against a powerful foe (much like Alexander had been before this recent awakening) he had absolutely no care at all for it. He didn't care if Articho fought him to his heart's content, or if the man knelt before him and allowed Alexander to deal the finishing blow. Either or was perfectly acceptable to the Void User, and he would destroy all that stood before him until there was nothing left. Not until the very world itself was consumed by the Void would he even bother to stop. Not just world. Worlds. There would be no ending as far as he could tell, not until everything was eviscerated and he stood alone amongst the cosmos.
"I wasn't listening," Alexander responded to the man's words, still approaching at that steady, even gait that led him up toward Articho without the barest hint of any sort of stopping point. His power gathered, the dark, empty aura flaring around him for a moment as he approached. He didn't even bother to utilize the void in his attacks, at the moment. He didn't see a need to waste his time, or his breath, on trying to channel that power. Instead, the young man, or rather, the Void that inhabited the young man, closed the remaining distance between himself and Articho. Per usual, there was no stance, no style, no...anything that showed any signs of life beyond his movements themselves. Much like before, he lunged forward, throwing out his right leg in a powerful shoot kick, before he pulled it back afterward, using it as a pivot as his other foot rose toward Articho's jaw in a spinning roundhouse kick.
He drifted back away then, the shadowy, flame-like aura building around him as Alexander's eyes narrowed, ever-so-slightly as the power began to build within him. Articho would certainly feel the influx of energy as the power began to swell within him.
