TOMA THE HEROToma had landed on Earth a few hours ago. After stopping in to say hello to Ninjin and his children, he blasted off towards the Lookout at top speed. His golden energy left a large streak through the sky as he travelled, wanting to get there as fast as possible. He didn't see a point in waiting. This needed to be done.
He was going to rally the Z-Fighters. And get their opinion on something. Bing was gone, and it was his fault. The Earth needed to be ready for what the Saiyan Solar Empire had coming for them. They would not be able to defend this planet with Vi-poi alone. That wasn't going to work this time.
Landing on the stone slabs of the lookout, he looked over the area. It felt empty without Bing's energy, somehow. Just like it had when Toma had first discovered the place a year ago. It was strange, really. An almost surreal experience. But Toma wasn't here to camp out like last time. This time, he was here for a purpose.
He walked to the center of the platform, before closing his eyes. He felt out the energy of the remaining Z-Fighters, and he'd send them all a telepathic message. "Z-Fighters of Earth, this is Toma. I would like all of you to meet me at the Lookout. There is something I'd like to discuss." He'd say, before he let his energy loose, allowing himself to be Ki Sensed by anyone in the near vicinity.
Toma had a job to do, and he'd be damn sure he did it.

The fact Toma had returned to Earth was not unsurprising for Ninjin as Toma had contacted her before he was leaving. So she had an idea how long he would be home, but she was annoyed with how fast he just kind of came and went. Stopping in just long enough to give her a hug and a quick kiss before taking off again. This was not going to stand for her as she waited and chased his ki until it stopped. The Timeless Lookout seemed to be where he stopped and she closed her eyes and she allowed her orchid ki to burst around herself uncaring if someone could sense her as she took off toward the Lookout.
It would take her about an hour of flying to get from the Southern Islands to the Timeless Lookout’s base. Pushing herself upward she streamed through the sky. Sparks of golden energy flaked off of her body as she crested the edge of the lookout. Toma would easily recognize the annoyance on her face when she landed with her weighted boots upon the tiles of the lookout. Looking directly at her husband she had missed the message as she had been already on her way there. That and she had known to tune out her husband from time to time especially when he annoyed her. “So what was such a hurry that you did not stick around the house more than a few minutes there Toma? Cause I will be honest that annoyed me a little that you where home and then gone once more.”
Walking up to about two feet from him off to his right side she had an annoyed air about her while glaring daggers at her husband. Despite the annoyance she would not stop him from doing whatever it was that was going on within his mind. As this made her curious despite the annoyed looks she was giving.

[Thread PL; 63,834]
Down in the depths of the lookout, a certain salty individual was scouring the inner sanctum, in the hopes of finding vital information that his late friend might have missed. Indeed, Defrosch had felt the untimely passing of Bing Gan, the Kami of Earth, when a strange wave of energy wafted across the Fortuneteller's desert. He could not decipher the finer details of the pulse, and while he recognized it as telepathy, he could feel Bing's energy coming from it... It felt weak, fragile- it was a miracle it even reached the Earth at all, much less whoever was the intended recipient.
Defrosch's friend- Bing Gan- perhaps the most accepting and considerate individual the Arcosian knew, one who done something hardly any other person ever did; believed in him, was now gone. Why or how, the Arcosian didn't know, if he could hazard a guess, there was a cold-hearted violent monster out there in the cosmos that would plausibly have such a grudge against the Kami, and it was the Queen Of All Saiyans, Zucceta.
Of course, the Arcosian was more than mad at Bing (among others) for suddenly disappearing off the face of the planet, but he was far more furious with his would-be killer. A nightmare of a woman that he had only heard whispers of...
Defrosch had been doing well so far with suppressing his power while in this integral area in the Lookout, but each second he wasted on anger it was getting progressively more difficult. It certainly didn't help that he couldn't find any mystical incantations or clues that could possibly help the situation.
Focus on this fruitless pursuit would soon be broken by a telepathic message, the Arcosian held on to hope that the annoying brain-mail would be from Bing himself, but alas, it was not.
The one time Defrosch needed it, Bings kind voice was not there.
Setting aside the dusty tomes and ancient artifacts, Defrosch made his way up through the Lookout and onto the main platform outside. He shuffled towards the two that had arrived, his voice devoid of his signature salt, with it having been replaced by the coldest of liquid nitrogen vitriol.
"What do you want...?"
PL was suppressed for a while, its output is normal as soon as he gets outside.

With great power comes a greater responsibility, a saying her father used to be incredibly fond of. Ever since Scargot had disappeared from the surface of the planet Reikiko had idly thought about the reason behind his disappearance, but also the ascension of Bing, a mere human into the role of Kami. At first she rejected him, more out of spite for wanting to take the role that was rightly her father's, but now... now she believed that Bing had truly matured into the role. Bing had learned what it meant to be Kami, and she wished that he or Scargot had been around to answer the questions that plagued her mind. It was for that reason Reikiko had journeyed to the timeless lookout, accompanied by Hikari for the little 'search' she had in mind.
However, it was rather ironic that she arrived right when a powerful yet slightly familiar aura burst from the platform. She descended quietly, her feet landing on the stone tiles as she looked around. Two of them she recognized, in the end she would have needed downright amnesia to forget the former Grandmaster of the Turtle school, and Toma was a face she barely remembered, but still did. Yet the third one among them was only known by appearance, she didn't really bother memorizing the name of a guy she only saw once or twice!
"So many strangers walking around at my father's home... I just grown used to Bing after he had matured after walking in my father's footsteps and became a worthwhile Kami, but this..."
She shook her head lightly, approaching the group while Hikari bowed politely toward them. Reikiko had clearly not intended to play around, her eyes settling onto Toma.
"Tell me you left the library as it was. With Bing gone and my father absent there is none left to answer my questions, so I will find the answers I seek in books. However, satisfy my curiosity for a moment. What brings the former Grandmaster, one of Bing's warrior's and an Arcosian to this lookout? Well, of course it be polite for me to give my own reason for my visit: I'm here to visit my old home... And to find the answer to the same question both Bing and my father had to answer once."
And now she waited, tapping her foot on the stone tiles in patience...

Post by Articho Reville on Mar 24, 2016 16:59:18 GMT
Articho rubbed the back of his head as he assessed the state of his ship. He had come in for a pretty rough landing after breaking Earth's atmosphere, but he had luckily crash landed into a snow bank. From what he could tell, damage was minimal, but it would take him some time to dig this thing out of the snow and he was certain its paint job was shot. That was a plus, at least. The hybrid didn't want to be flying around in a ship designating it as one from Knutts and now he had the perfect reason to repaint it.
Articho sighed and crossed his arms. It didn't matter how he tried to spin it. Getting this thing back into flying condition was going to be a pain in the ass. But it would have to wait. He could sense a growing group of power levels at, where else, Bing's Lookout. And whenever there was a group there, something interesting was going to happen that usually had to deal with the fate of the Earth. He adjusted his leather jacket and tugged his gloves back down, making himself appear somewhat presentable despite still being dressed in his gang leader outfit that Freeze had given him. Hopefully, it wouldn't startle anyone too bad. The hybrid floated up into the air and flew off for the lookout, the wind whipping his hair around and the cool, clean air filling his lungs. Now that he was back, he hadn't realized how stifling the air in Knutts was, stinking of piss and blood as all those prisoners stayed packed together like a can of sardines. He ran his fingers over the back of his neck, feeling the rough scar over where the bomb had been on his fingertips. He'd never go back there again, that's for damn sure.
Articho reached the lookout and could see a few people standing on it. He recognized them as Ninjin, Toma, Defrosch, and... Reikiko. A wave of anger ran through him upon seeing her. His mind went back to the Realigner Red games when she had let Kaula murder Gleciar and nearly murder him. What he wouldn't give for a chance to get back at her, but he knew it would be suicide. She was far stronger than he was and it'd take multiple miracles just to get a hit in. So, he held his tongue as he landed on the lookout, though his expression stayed sour.
"Long time, no see, everyone," he said. "What's threatening Earth this time?"

TOMA THE HEROWithin a few moments, several people had arrived. Ninjin, his wife. Reikiko, the Bio-Android, and adopted daughter of Scargot. Deep inside her, he could still sense the good side of her that he had met long ago. She seemed far more stable now than she used to be, at least for the moment anyways.
Defrosch and Articho also showed up, and Toma smiled seeing his old friend and former turtle-student class-mate. He was glad to see he was alive. He hadn't been able to sense Articho's energy for a while. He turned to Rei, and nodded. "Yes, I have not touched the Library. I'd imagine you'd be free to look through it as you wish."
But then Toma sighed and spoke, before sitting down. "I'm glad you're well, Articho. But we have important matters to discuss. Matters that will deal with the Earth and the future of the Z-Fighters." Toma spoke, looking at the three of them. He made a note of the coldness in Defrosch's voice, and made a note to keep an eye on him.
"As I'm sure you're all well aware... Bing Gan is dead." Toma said, his right hand clenching his pant leg. "I was on Vegeta when it happened. He was fighting an energy that I suspect to be Zucceta. Her power spiked, and his was snuffed out. As soon as I sensed it I made a B-Line back for Earth. I can only imagine Earth is her next target. Which brings me to my next point..." He leaned forwards, bringing his hands together, resting his chin on them in thought. He wasn't used to having to talk to a group like this, not since he had turned over the Z-Fighters to Bing.
"We can't leave the Earth without a Guardian. Someone needs to know how to use the Lookout's artifacts to help Earth's warriors train. I don't think Bing would want us to waste time squabbling with each other and leaving it vulnerable. To that end, I am volunteering myself to do it. However, I do not plan on just taking up the role. You are all residents of Earth. You have all fought for her protection. So, it's only right that you have a say in this. I'm putting it to a vote. So, I ask you, all of you. Would you follow me if I were to temporarily take up Bing's role? Not perminently of course. I don't plan on doing that. I only plan on doing it either until he returns, or a more suitable Kami can be found. If the answer to that question is no, then I have a second question for you. Who do you believe would be best suited for the role in Bing's absence?"

[Thread PL: 219,847]
Etoru was sitting by a lake. Bing's death really got to him. If anything, it probably got to him the most. He stared at the water frowning. He picked up a rock and threw it across the water. The rock skidded slowly before landing in the middle. It slowly sunk. Etoru frowned annoyed. He picked up another rock and chucked it hard. The water crated a huge path and the rock didn't even skid. It soared through the water going through 7 trees. "Hmph...." Etoru grunted as he got up. His eyes opened slightly as he was surprised when he heard Toma's message. "...Why would I ever go there again..." He mumbled to himself. Then he sensed some stranger's energy, and Defrosche's. Etoru didn't really care. But once he sensed Hikari's and Reikiko's energy, he felt intrigued. "This has to be important...maybe something about Zucceta..." He then sensed Articho, but really the only reason he WAS going was because Reikiko was there.
Etoru slowly hovered off the ground and rotated his body westwards. A ghostly white aura engulfed him before he soared off. After a few minutes or so, Etoru arrived on the lookout. However, if anyone seen Etoru before, his excited, happy, curious expression, was no longer there. Instead, it was a cold expression painted on his face instead. His power was much greater than it was before as well. Etoru looked at everyone with hate painted all over his face. No, not hate towards them, but rather Zucceta. Etoru landed right beside Reikiko. "What's going on...?"
Etoru frowned when Toma began to speak. Soon he glared at him. Then he said it. 'Bing Gan is dead.' The child clenched his fists, rage infuriating him. He was debating whether or not to just beat him down right here and now. Glaring at him, he listened to what he had too say. He started talking about Bing's death so...casually. Why would he even describe it?! He died! That's that! Etoru grit his teeth and started grinding them as his gaze lye coldly on Toma. He went on next too talk about how Earth needed a kami. Now Etoru wasn't too keen on letting someone take his master's role, but he knew it was true. However...he still was going to be stubborn about it. But THIS GUY. He had his reasons for not liking Toma to become Kami, not just be cause of speaking of Bing's death, no. Because he had to 'show warriors how to use sacred artifacts for training' crap. Etoru couldn't take it. The child kicked off the ground and attempted to punch Toma's Jaw. Should he succeed, he'd land back at the floor glaring angrily at him and making a rant.
"Shut up!" Etoru snarled. "Go to hell with Earth Warrior's training!" This was completely new for Etoru. He never acted this way. Ever. "You think that training other people is all there is too it?! I don't know much about being Kami, but I do know this much! It has NOTHING to do with training!" Etoru clenched his fists tightly as his gaze never left Toma. "And we all protected Earth?! Last time I checked, a guardian was supposed to protect Earth too! Where the hell were you when the Saiyans came! Where the hell were you when Realigner Red killed all those people! WHERE WERE YOU WHEN BING DIED?!" The child's hair flashed yellow for a moment and his eyes teal, but they slowly reverted to his dark hue. "...I don't care if it's for a little bit or forever. You aren't being Kami....."

Ninjin had been so focused on her husband that she had not been paying attention as other emerged from the area. First came an Arcosian from somewhere nearby, then came the one being she was hoping to see. The former Crane Master herself with her closest ally. As she noticed Hikari bowing toward her Ninjin would return the bow. She had never had the pleasure of meeting the assistant in anything other than fleeting glances and an idle conversation in the past. Yet she felt that she was someone that she might need to talk to in the future. "Reikiko I am here because I am following the lunkhead of a husband up here. He came back from Vegeta smattering something about how the planet needed help at this exact moment and then took off toward here. So I followed him up here..."
Her words would fade as she felt other approaching the Timeless Lookout. The feeling of her one time student Articho was what had drawn her attention away. As she knew the pain that dwelt within the young man's heart for Reikiko about what had happened in the past with Reikiko because of the actions of Kaula. She hoped that this was not going to be the moment when he decided to act upon those feelings. When she felt the restraint that he was showing she knew deep down he was not going to do anything. No words where exchanged though as the moment Articho appeared she felt her husband's ki fluctuate and she caught the tail end of him telling Reikiko she could do what she wished with the library within the lookout. At that moment she felt another ki signature float up to the Lookout's platform. It was a small figure but she could feel that this figure had hidden strength just lurking beneath the surface. :: Great Strength inside that one. A decptive look about him and yet he is strong enough to take out most of those on this platform wth ease. :: Her eyes lingered on Etoru as if making sure her trained eyes where not deceiving her on his strength before she turned her attention back toward her husband.
As he began to speak he spoke of the death of Bing-gan she noticed his hand clench. She could not exactly remember if she had met him in person but that point was moot as she continued to listen to Toma's words. Her eyes narrowed as she heard her cousin's name spoken within the context of fighting and killing another person. Without thinking Ninjin spoke up as Toma took a moments pause. "Once again she bring suffering and pain upon more people with her actions. If I had known this is how things where to of turned out I would of killed her upon the banks of the river when I met my cousin... Yet hindsight will only bring up bad thoughts to dwell upon..."
She trailed off as Toma began to speak up once more. When he spoke about taking up Bing's role she had an idea of what it was Toma was volunteering for. It was one of the things she remembered from the first time they had ever met. The two of them spoke about the Kami and how that this had to be his home. "I could think of really only one person who could take up this role but I doubt that she wants the role."
Turning her gaze toward Reikiko as she knew that Rei had spent the most time on the Lookout compared to everyone else here. She had knwon Scargot quite well and was a friend to Bing. She had actively defended the planet on several occassions and would continue to do so. "Other than you Toma I think the only other person who could defend this planet from the aggressors is Reikiko. She is far and away the strongest warrior on this planet and has been for a long time. That and she knew the Kami himself before he went away to take care of his own business... Only you Toma could say that you have even talked to him on a basis before his departure..."
She was speaking as even keeled as she could but her own easy to feel feeling where evident inside her words. She did not want her husband to forsake everything in the world to take up this lonely position at the crown of the world. Her hand tensed up as she had the thoughts push through her mind. That is when Etoru took off across the platform. In an instant Ninjin would throw herself in front of the aimed attack by pushing her husband out of the way. Taking the attack to her own jaw she did not even really have a chance to glare at nor do anything in response to Etoru as her vision blurred. Allowing herself to be hit full force and knocked across the platform skidding to a stop about ten feet from the edge of the platform.

Post by Defrosch on Mar 25, 2016 8:13:07 GMT
While Defrosch was focused on Toma, as he was the one that sent the message, he still kept his wits about. Several other warriors arrived, generally all people he had seen before at least once or twice. The first among them that odd bio-android... Reikiko, was it? They were once again accompanied by a Saiyan, incidentally t'was not Kaula this time. Defrosch had sensed the insectoid's presence around lately, but didn't have the time to talk. Unfortunately he wasn't in much of a mood to do so now either. Though, it was fortunate she was here. Perhaps she could confirm some suspicions Defrosch has should the discussion lead that way.
Defrosch narrowed his eyes at Articho as he arrived. The Saiyan was among those that had disappointed the Arcosian by suddenly disappearing without any warning. Just what the hell happened to communication? Etoru arrived shortly after... The expression the young warrior had was telling enough; it is likely he knew what happened to Bing. The youngster was one of the Kami's pupils and best friends after all. Seeing such anger on this child's face made Defrosch's heart sink. Nobody, especially people as young as Etoru should have to suffer like that.
The Arcosian's mood would only get worse as soon as Toma spoke. It explained where the guy went, thats for sure. Defrosch hoped that this man would at least have gone with Bing to wherever he went, but no. Toma had gone to Vegeta. He didn't even mention why he went there of all places! It was right into business with this guy!
"You... Idiot."
Defrosch let out a dry soulless chuckle. The Arcosian had done some digging recently; specifically things about the 'Z-Fighters' just out of his own interest. It turns out the re-emergence of the legendary power of the Super Saiyans was achieved by a few former Z-Fighters. Ones that saw fit to wreck things they did not like, cause havoc and fear, only for one of them to be stopped by the Blue Banner Army's Azure Administrator; Vi-Poi, and the Chimera Mercenary; Reikiko... If what he heard was true beyond that, someone matching Toma's description was their leader. "What makes you think you're fit for this? You have no idea what you're talking about. Being Kami, temporary or not, is not that simple..." He was fully ready to go further with that, but he had to focus on keeping himself as calm as possible even if his blood continued to boil while his aura seethed with rage. "Even if I don't know all about it... I know its more than a mere title. Much, much more." Whatever that was, Bing was certainly it.
Seeing Etoru zip forward- true as it may be that this isn't normal behavior for the child- Defrosch made no move to stop him. Not this time. The kid needed this far more than he did.

The bio-android's expression remained one of neutrality as Etoru and Articho arrived at the lookout, albeit within the depths of her heart she felt her anger slowly boiling like a fire that was being set ablaze. It seemed her reactions were shared by Etoru and the Arcosian, the boy had decided to lash out in anger, but to her surprise Ninjin had jumped in to take the blow, a blow that had send her skidding across the platform. While normally she would have clapped her hands and praised Etoru for sending someone flying that far from a mere punch, she was not in the mood to joke, and she did feel something... different after the words Ninjin spoke.
"STAND DOWN ETORU!"
Her voice was raised, a threatening and rather harsh tone accompanied by the eerily flaring up of her ki. Of course the poor boy didn't knew that the Timeless lookout had some emotional value to her, and the bio-android intended to enlighten him within a moment after she had commanded him.
"I will not tolerate such actions within the sanctuary of my father. However..."
The Arcosian's words had represented her feelings exactly. She turned her gaze back toward Toma and spoke, her tone calming back to its usual cold and stoic nature that she displayed normally to strangers.
"The Arcosian is right. The role of Kami is not one you volunteer for. It is one you become after traversing a path. The same path my father and Bing did."
Slowly she stepped forwards, seemingly approaching Toma, and with each step her tone grown harsher.
"Bing has just died and like a vulture you returned to the lookout to claim the legacy he left behind."
Another step followed as her gaze narrowed, and despite Ninjin's words she shook her head lightly.
"It's not that simple Ninjin, to walk the path my father and Bing did is not just a matter of learning about the secrets of the lookout and its possessions. It is something much more difficult, and in the end until the day you can answer a certain question you will never be able to consider yourself worthy."
She turned toward Articho, her eyes gazing firmly into his own as she addressed him.
"To protect Earth at any cost. That was what I once thought what it meant to be a guardian of Earth. When your friend, ignorant of the consequences gathering the dragon balls during the battle with the corrupted Realigner Red during the battle would have had... I allowed his death. I knew that if the dragon was summoned while Realigner Red was still alive you two would have doomed us all, for the android would have easily gotten past us, and what would you have done if he interrupted your wish, or worse... killed the dragon?"
She shook her head gently, her gaze returning onto Toma.
"I thought at that time one person's death would have been a small price to pay for the safety of our planet. It was for that reason I allowed Kaula to lash out. However, would a Kami have followed such a cruel 'the end justifies the means' approach? I don't know..."
Her lips curved up into a smile as she continued her explanation.
"Because I don't know what it means to be 'Kami'. Unless you find that answer, an answer that my father, and Bing who followed in his footsteps found... you will never be suited for Kami. To answer your question and that of your wife. I do not believe anyone of us is suited for this role. Not even I, the one who was adopted by the Kami that came before Bing has found the answers that are needed... because the answers I seek can't be found in books. And with Bing and my father gone I will have only one way to find the things I seek."
With those words she stepped past Toma, closing her eyes for a moment as she declared in a threatening tone.
"Until the day you find that answer I will no longer tolerate such sacrilege as declaring your desire to become Kami. If you truly care about Earth I'd suggest you either search for answers, or go back to training for the day the Saiyajin arrive. However, if you intend to continue spouting such nonsense in the sanctuary of Kami... I will kill you."
With that said she waited for their response, aware that Hikari had approached Etoru and was trying to rest a hand on the boy's shoulder to calm him down, whispering to the boy.
"Don't worry Etoru, she is both sad and angry for a very understandable reason. The person who was Kami before Bing... was Reikiko's father. At first she was genuinely upset when Bing took over the role, but when he found the answer she understood it... That Bing had discovered the answer she seeks so desperately. Sadly with Bing gone she has to find the answer on her own. But the reason she is angry? It's because she respects the role more than anyone, and even if he was her rival... to Reikiko, Bing was the one who carried on her father's legacy. To hear people say those things at the timeless lookout? Of course she would be angry to hear those words in the place she and her father once called home."
Hikari's gaze turned toward the group, hoping it wouldn't escalate any further, but if it did Reikiko wouldn't care, she merely had one thought in her mind.
Otou-san... what would you have done?
[Reikiko has declared her intention to challenge anyone who declares wanting to become a Kami without having the 'answer' of 'What it means to be a Kami']

"ENOUGH!"
A fiery roar shook the lookout as a figure suddenly appeared between everyone. Eyes of molten gold opened to reveal feral-like slits, Ruby red hair billowed in the breeze like a soft flame, demonic claws of a dragon balled into furious fists as the warrior, leader of the Zetto Senshi, and fiance of Bing took her first step on Earth after her journey throughout space. She looked around, feral eyes narrowing in on everyone gathered for a moment before she slowly walked across the platform to kneel down beside the fallen Ninjin. "Here... Let me help you up..." She said, her eyes returning to normal as she took the woman's hand and pulled her to a stand. "I hope you are alright..." Maeve said giving a little bow of her head. She turned however to face the remaining warriors with a bit of a disgusted growl.
"How dare you...This disgusting farce of a meeting is ending right now." Maeve snapped as she made her way to the center of the gathering. "Bing's death...Is something I don't think I'll ever get past." Maeve spoke, her tone losing some of it's edge as she looked down to the scar on her hand. A scar that used to signify their love and bond. "Yet... I know...That he wouldn't want this." She looked up, her brows furrowing as her eyes narrowed once more. "Violence..." She said looking to Etoru. "Threats..." She uttered turning to Rei. "...Or opportunism." She said settling her gaze finally on Toma.
"Some of us have lost a friend, a teacher, a symbol of hope, or a lover to a wickedness beyond comprehension." Maeve spoke, imagining the twisted sneer of the saiyan queen as she closed her eyes. "Yet... We can't lose ourselves to the grief. We can't become monsters because of the pain...Or because of the fear." She said before opening her eyes and looking to the sky.
"Walker, gave into that fear and tried to do something devastating. Something that would haunt him for the rest of his days I'm sure." She said, recalling the golem's attempt to lay waste to the planet of the saiyan race. "We can't let ourselves get to that point. I came to this summit to honor my beloved yet I came to see nothing but pain."
"Etoru, remember what I said about being better than monsters?" Maeve spoke looking to the boy. "We can't lose ourselves, when we see Bing again we'll want him to recognize us wont we?" She smiled softly. "Rei, I know you're trying to protect what Bing stood for but doing so in such a manner won't help anyone. Toma was merely trying to help, don't let your pain burn bridges needlessly." She looked finally at Toma "As for you, this probably wasn't the best time for this. Go home, be with your family and plan for the future. Everything is bleak now but the sun will rise again. I promise."
Finishing her speech the Dragoness would cross her arms and looked to all that were gathered. Though it tore her apart to keep herself together she knew that it was what Bing would have wanted.

TOMA THE HEROEtoru charged at Toma, and he jumped to his feet, bringing his hands up, ready to defend himself. Of course he wasn't planning on retaliating against Etoru. He understood the boy's anger and hoped he could help the boy understand why he was doing this in a way he could understand. But then, the unexpected happened. Ninjin jumped infront Toma and took the hit for him. While Toma should have expected it, because it was in her nature, he thought she would understand that he was twice her strength. Etoru's punch wouldn't have done nearly as much to him as it did to here. And that was when Toma's anger erupted like a volcano. Something that very rarely happens. "ETORU!!!"
His voice would carry across the entire lookout, echoing into the distance. In an instant, Toma's Super Saiyan powers erupted out of him, his hair turning golden and standing on end, and his eyes turning teal. He glared at Etoru with a look that would kill if it would. He totally ignored Defrosch's comment, his anger turning him deaf to the world.
"HOW DARE YOU ATTACK A FELLOW COMRADE!"
He got into a stance, the stance of the Kamehameha. His wrists were pressed together behind his back, and the blue energy began to charge. Did he care that he couldn't kill Etoru? Not really. He was going to make damn sure that this brat knew what he did was wrong.
"Ka... me... ha... me...." He began chanting, the blue energy orb growing bigger and bigger, but that was when Maeve showed up. Her shout snapped Toma out of his anger, and he looked over to her. He sighed, letting the orb phase back into nothingness as he relaxed his stance. She was right. There was no point in fighting now.
He turned to Ninjin, and dashed over to her quickly, helping her stand. "Are you all right, my love?" He'd ask, before turning to the group. "As for the rest of you, Maeve is right. Fighting is not what Bing or Scargot would have wanted." He'd say, before turning to Maeve. In their shared time on Vegeta, Maeve and Toma had become rocky friends. He got the feeling she may not have forgiven him for not being on Earth during the Saiyan Invasion. Maybe she never would.
Not that he could blame her. He couldn't hardly forgive himself over the matter. But he sighed, and turned away from the lookout. He then addressed Rei. "You're right though, Rei. I don't know what it means to be Kami. I was hoping I might discover that answer by learning as I went. Everyone here has cast their vote and made it clear. This meeting is over."
And with that, Toma would hold onto Ninjin, before turning to Maeve. "Thank you, Maeve." It seemed Maeve was the only one that trusted Toma in any form out of the group here, aside from Ninjin and Articho. She understood the pureness of his intentions. Did he want power? No. But somebody had to do the job. Perhaps she might be better suited for it than he was.
"Ninjin, we're leaving." He said, as he'd jump off the lookout, and shoot off towards the southern islands.

The blue-haired Administrator of Blue Banner had taken to wearing the current standard of their forward ki-variant gear -- a black ablative vest girdled with metal meshwork on his chest, short, hard-quenched Poitonium faulds, and gauze-like compressor medi-legwraps that ended on knee-high boots of iridium-tongued leather. It all looked rather ugly together, blacks and greens and browns, but the armor suite was made for peak utilitarian non-electric use against ki burns, and left nothing for aesthetics.
Vi-Poi had sensed the different power levels converging, and know what it probably meant. He'd guessed a mourning gathering of sorts would happen here, but it seems it'd turn into a feud. He'd been on his way to the lookout, gingerly flying while taking in the sights of a glittering bright day over Fukurou Forest. Suddenly, a bright kiai swooshed past him, violently rippling the air and sending him tumbling through the air. Vi-Poi acked. The donuts!
Speeding around in a knotted whirlwind, Vi-Poi was able to land each donut back into its rightful place in the box. Whewing, he peered over his shoulder. It'd been Toma.
Arriving at the lookout, he landed among the others, raising an eyebrow at Etoru's energy spike.
"Don't worry everyone, I brought the donuts. Crullers, chocolate sprinkles, and an apple danish for Reikiko." The android said, using his TK switch to float the box towards the others on one finger. "But it seems like I missed something."

Articho's face reflected a mixture of surprise and anger. Surprise at hearing of Bing's unexpected death and anger towards Toma's audacity. The death of the Guardian of Earth didn't bode well for its fate and, while Toma was right that someone should step in temporarily, he should not be the one to do it. Articho opened his mouth to voice his disagreement, but Etoru beat him to the punch, saying every point he wanted to hit. Not wanting to beat a dead horse, the hybrid simply pointed a thumb in Etoru's direction. "What shortstack said," he said. "I like you, Toma, but Guardian of Earth isn't really the hole you fit into. None of us do and it's not a hole you can just force yourself into, either."
That's when Etoru threw his punch. Articho took a step towards the lunging child only for Ninjin to step in and take the punsihment herself. "Ninjin!" Artocho shouted, lunging in her direction. He knelt beside her former master, running his eyes over her face for any sign of damage as Toma began charging an attack, but stopped almost as quickly as he started. Nothing seemed too bad on the surface, at least, but stayed crouched beside her, turning only to look back at anyone speaking. He cast Rei a glare. "There are other ways, you know," was all he commented back at the bio-android before.
Articho's gaze went skyward when Maeve arrived. She was pissed about what was happening and rightfully so. It seemed to him that she and Bing were quite close, possibly lovers. Her reaction would be fitting of one. It could be possible that she knew the answer Rei had wanted given she was so close to him. The hybrid held his tongue for the time being. He didn't think he had the right to say much more than his disapproval for Toma as Kami.
Articho ignored the donuts Vi Poi had brought with him and fought to keep himself from laughing. He was trying to stay serious, but Vi's arrival and subsequent offering was so ridicoulus that it broke the tension for a moment.
