People often thought that training, and to train someone was one and the same thing, yet as the head of the Crane-style Reikiko had learned that this was hardly the case. Training oneself was simple enough, to simply push yourself to your limits, and then take a step beyond those. But training someone? To train someone was an entire different story. To be able to call yourself a teacher you needed to learn about your student, you needed to obtain a solid grasp of their strengths and weaknesses. Then there was also the need to understand their personality, to know the ins and outs of how to motivate your student into reaching further. To create such a training program required an eye for detail, and fortunately for her Reikiko knew someone who worked perfectly on that aspect. They had just landed at the edge of the Bamboo Forest when Hikari instructed Letu to leave the vehicle, and soon afterwards both she and Reikiko had done the same.
The bio-android rubbed a hand lazily over her eyes, seemingly to wipe away the sleepiness from her body that she had felt whenever she allowed herself to enter a state of relaxation.
"We'll walk the remaining distance while I'll explain the nature of you training Letu."
She gestured toward the path up ahead, and while they started walking the hybrid started her explanation.
"Your training program will be divided into phases, you'll be considered a full-stay student, but I doubt you'll have any complains about that. You will be woken up at six in the morning, you have an half hour to wake up, shower and do whatever morning rituals you might have, at that point we'll have breakfast together. After breakfast your training will begin at seven. We'll spend the first hour by exercising in the forest. However, you'll be given special accessories that will make it so that you'll be experiencing a state similar to training under the pressure of gravity, so don't think you'll be given the chance to take it easy."
She waved a hand in the air, the electronic pencil she had been holding seemingly projecting some sort of screen into the air that was displaying some imagines of what appeared to be a training field.
"Those exercises are used to warm up your body for the training, from eight till noon you'll be doing what we call 'Fundamental Training'. In layman terms it's the same as teaching you the very basics and drilling them into your body till you're a master at them. People often rely too much on ki and complex methods to realize that a well-trained body is a powerful weapon on its own. Strength, Speed, Endurance, Perception. You'll be using exercises that challenge each of those things. At noon you're given a half hour break for a light lunch and to rest if desired. However, afterwards it's when things get more 'interesting'."
She smiled briefly as they approached at the base of a cliff, a path seemingly leading upwards along it, one they started to climb.
"After your break till dusk you're going to enter the gravity chambers and experience a mixture of Real Action Simulations and duels involving robotic opponents. Reikiko will be assisting you as an example for those sessions. She gives you a few minutes to learn about your opponent, like the type of motions it makes, it abilities and such. Later in your training you will not be given this assistance. At dusk you're given an hour-long break, but don't let the term break fool you. I should have called it: nurse your injuries and prepare for the torture session. That's right, after the hour-long break Our infamous Grand-master of the Crane school will be giving you hands-on training with real combat. Reikiko might not look like it in that form, but she is the one who taught her student to become a Supah Saiyajin. If there is anyone who can teach you in battle it would be her. Don't be too worried, if you faint from your injuries I will tend to your wounds and you're given the rest of the night to recover."
Finally they arrived at the top of the cliff, a humble cottage standing before them, but judging from the large metallic structure behind the building... there was likely something behind it also.
"Any questions Letu?"
--- This training will use the x30 setting of a gravity chamber for Reikiko and Letu.

If Reikiko was sleepy, Letu was downright lethargic. She felt a bit stronger after what she could only assume was a nightmare turned into a dream, but what didn't help was that the sleep was so deep that she felt like it was six in the morning after a restless night. Of course, this led to Letu only barely being able to follow what Hikari was telling her. If she hadn't been as obviously tired as she was, she definitely would have objected to having to fight against Rei at night, after a full day's worth of training. N-no... She yawned out softly, her quiet tone being even more quiet from her lethargy. Luckily for Hikari, Letu was all but leaning against her to keep herself standing, so she would have no problem hearing her. How was she so sleepy? That would be a question that none of them would likely figure out any time soon. If they were going to start training immediately, then it was clear that Letu would need some form of caffeinated drink or some alternative form of energy. Of course, with the state she was in right now, it was much more likely that she would simply be told to get some sleep, that they would start later. Though, given how far behind she was in her training, she doubted that this would be the case. I..I guess we start training now, huh..? She asked through a yawn, trying her best to stifle it so as to not disappoint her teachers on the very first moments of her official training. She wanted to be a good student, she really did. Regardless of what the answer was going to be, Letu slapped her own cheeks with both hands, blinking as she woke up a bit more from that, pushing off of Hikari with a nervous smile. Actually... She said as her stomach growled loudly. Would it be too much to ask for something to eat before we start..?

Letu's question about having a meal first made Reikiko let out an excited 'yay~' while Hikari merely chuckled and nodded her head in acknowledgement to the request. They were soon led inside the cottage that was clearly divided into three sections. In the central section was a kitchen with all the utilities one might need, to the left a humble living room that might belong to the cottage of a vacation resort, and finally to the right there was a large bedroom that contained several beds. Reikiko seemed all too eager about getting Letu along, guiding her into the living room to take a seat beside her at the table while Hikari disappeared into the kitchen.
It would have taken only several minutes before she returned, placing what appeared to be a glass of soda and a plate with some slices of bread and cheese, and upon giving Reikiko her meal, seemingly a basket full of apples the young woman took a seat opposite of them.
"It will be a light meal unfortunately, but the soda should help you regain your energy a bit."
Reikiko had just punctured an apple with her tail's stinger, while she was nibbling onto the skin of another one. If Letu had precognition she might had been able to guess that the soda had been spiked with a odorless and tasteless powder, one that upon consumption would start getting her drowsy after several minutes, and finally fall asleep several minutes later. Hikari genuinely hoped she would fall for the trap, in the end she didn't want to get Letu to hurt herself, in the end she had trained more than enough stubborn girls who were faking their toughness, and it was clear to her that Letu was likely incredibly exhausted and in need of some good rest.

Under normal circumstances, Letu would have been a fair bit more suspicious of a free meal. But, unfortunately for her, she was too tired to question things, and took the drink without so much as a single word, the drink slowly being consumed over the course of a few minutes, eventually ending with the glass slipping out of her hands, spilling on the floor as she snored lightly. It had affected her much quicker than any of them could have anticipated, causing a good third of the drink to spill out onto the floor. If anything was to be learned from this, it was that despite everything, there was something severely lacking in what training she had received originally. In all reality, the only method of combat she had learned that would be effective at all was her swordplay. Her strange attacks? Products of inefficient ki molding, which stemmed from having a teacher that only knew the very basics of it, along with the fact that there was an inherent imbalance in her internal energies.
Still though, for now, she fell into a mercifully dreamless sleep, her sheathed sword pressing into her back firmly, though the influence of the drug that had been slipped into her drink kept her from awakening, only causing a light stirring as she rolled over in her seat, half of her body hanging from the arm of the chair she had chosen to sit in. Of course, when she woke up, Reikiko and Hikari would be expecting to get an earful from her. Of course, that depended on the state she woke up in though. For now, she seemed to be safe, at least for the night.

Reikiko had just finished her apple snack when the effects of the sleeping drug stirred, making the little bio-android look up at Hikari, a hint of curiosity in her eyes. The hybrid merely smiled calmly in return, quietly scooping up Letu from her chair and started to carry her off into the nearby room. So she wanted Letu to rest? Well, the girl did seem rather exhausted, both physically and emotionally so perhaps it wasn't that bad of an idea. However, after the bio-android saw her companion return, collecting the dishes that had been prepared a question was raised that left the girl slightly surprised.
"You seem awfully nice to someone who slept with your girlfriend Rei."
She couldn't help but giggle at that question, humming softly.
"Well, if this is a means to make Kaula happy and ensure she won't be pouncing onto anyone else."
Hikari was about to reply to that statement, but when Reikiko had already moved toward the nearby doorway the comment that followed made her freeze right in her tracks.
"Not to mention I'm about to return the favor."
Wait, return the favor? Hikari pondered for a moment about the statement before mumbling softly.
"Oh gods no she didn't..."
But it was too late... By the time she arrived into the bedroom Hikari found Letu's clothes, including underwear all scattered on the floor, and the little bio-android using the girl's body as a pillow, and judging from the happy humming of the bio-android it was clear she was quite literally using pillows as a pillow under the blanket.
"you're the one who is going to have to explain 'that' part. when she wakes up"
And indeed, while Letu might had woken up the next morning in her embarrassing state, she would likely feel that her body somehow wasn't merely rested of all its exhausted, but that it felt as if she had been on a sugar rush, an additional dose of energy. Yet at the same time it seemed she might had gone to sleep while wearing weighted pajamas... wait, no actually if she tried to look under the blanket that covered her, there would had been a little bio-android nuzzled up against her, seemingly still partly asleep, while the sound of footsteps and a pleasant scent from nearby hinted that something was being prepared in the nearby room.

If they had expected Letu to not become literal dead weight after drinking the spiked soda, they would both be very wrong. While neither of them would have had a problem lifting the Saiyan-Demon from her place, she would be notably heavier than they would likely have expected. Even so, she remained in that same state of dead weight and sleep for the entire night. In fact, it wouldn't have been until the smell of food woke her that Letu finally awakened, groaning as she rubbed her head, her bob cut sticking up in almost every direction as she slowly sat up, looking around, her stomach mere inches from the tips of Rei's headpiece. She leaned forward a bit more, shivering at the chill of the air, the haze of just waking up from a second comatose state leaving a haze on her mind, causing the recognition of the feeling of a hard substance pressing against her to be delayed. H..huh..? She muttered as she slowly lifted the blanket..and her face turned as red as her hair, a sharp shriek emerging from her as she saw Rei..laying on her, without any of her own clothing on.
Oh gods, what had happened last night? All she remembered was heading here on the helicopter..drinking the soda..then..nothing. That was when it clicked. They had spiked the drink with something. Of course, Letu attempted to push the bio-android off of her, not wanting to try to think about what Rei had likely done to her. Granted, whatever she had done, she felt great..albeit a bit.."used". Unfortunately, Rei was rather strong, even in her sleep. Either that, or she was very heavy. She didn't want to know which it actually was..she just wanted her privacy, wanted Rei off of her. For Kami's sake, why wasn't she moving?! Eventually, Letu gave up on her pushing, attempting to squirm out of Reikiko's grasp. That didn't work either. Eventually, she just huffed and went back to her feeble pushing. In truth, she wouldn't admit it, but she liked the display of affection that was the small bio-android nuzzling into her. She just didn't quite care for the way she had gone with in terms of creating this situation. She did feel better, yes. She was awake now, and felt the extra energy that was given to her by whatever had been put in her drink. But still, there was a definite line that had been crossed. oh she's getting an earful when she wakes up.. the Saiyan-Demon muttered quietly as she still attempted to push the smaller woman off of herself.

"nyuuh..."
A happy sigh escaped the child-like entity who sniffed softly, as if she caught some scent and after a moment she whispered softly.
"Not yet Le-Le~ Kaula is still making breakfast..."
Wait, Kaula was making breakfast? It seemed whatever the little bio-android was dreaming about, it clearly was a blissful dream, that soon turned into a nightmare as her body tensed and like a surprised kitten jolted upwards into the air.
"Nuuh! Kaula cooking is a trap! We're gonna be killed---- wait, nyuuh..."
Yawning softly the little bio-android shuffled sideways of Letu and smiled sheepishly at her.
"Gwood Morning Letu, I hope you slept well? Sorry for the little surprise, but umm... you looked like you needed some sleep, and I imagined that you'd likely be as stubborn as Kaula when it came to rest."
She stretched her arms into the air as she looked at Letu, her eyes seemingly having a rather curious spark of happiness in them.
"How are you feeling? To help enhance your training I umm... gave you some of my energy, you'll likely notice it already. Feeling somewhat more energetic than normally? That's just the start of the effects. But I did it while you're asleep. Unlike Kaula I'd think you'd likely faint from embarrassment if I told you what happened while you were sleeping."
Yet with surprising speed the bio-android tried to give Letu a little smooch on her cheek while rising from under the blanket and shuffled off toward the edge humming playfully.
"Also consider this justice, a punishment for sleeping with Kaula. Mmm sounds fair right? You slept with Waifu, I slept with waifu numbero 2."
She giggled softly as she walked toward the end of the bed and sat down, seemingly waiting for Letu's retaliation or decision to get dressed.
"Letu, normally Hikari would train you, but instead I'll take the role upon me for now. I'm going to teach you the basics, but also some more advanced things. Don't worry, I'll make sure we find a way to make everything work out. However, we're going to approach the usual way my teachings are done a bit differently. While you were asleep I felt... something. The first being that your ki is rather volatile, do you have any difficulties properly using it? The other..."
She paused for a moment, pointing at her the hybrid's chest.
"You have something hidden within that pretty chest of yours don't you. I won't inquire further unless you desire to talk about it, in the all we all got our own shadows to deal with. However, what I'm going to teach today will help you at least with the first."
The bio-android's smile faded for a moment, whispering softly.
"Sorry about surprising you like this... I umm, find you a curious person. Cute and yet a bit curious at the same time. However, I decided that instead of hating you for what you did with Kaula, I would approach things differently. Perhaps the concept of creating a family based not within the blood but bonds it shares is a rather foreign one, but this is my answer to those thoughts Letu: I want to create a family for us all. You, Kaula, me and Hikari. A family where our love is shared between all~ No matter what happens I'll protect us, and I'm sure with everyone together we'll always be happy and have a lot of fun! So umm... consider today's training a first date!"
The child chuckled softly as she prepared to walk out of the room, but halfway there stopped to speak with a smirk.
"Also when Kaula is back you're going to get team-snuggled a lot, and you're going to have a milk-intensive drinking course. Your pillows are soft and snuggly but... a bit on the small side, made my neck hurt a little.... Anyway get dressed and meet me outside the cottage."
And after just barely giving her enough time to reply Reikiko had left the room.

Whatever Lecture Letu had been planning, it drained right out of her mind when the small bio-android called her by a nickname. Sure, it was just a repetition of the first two letters of her name..but the innocence of it was what caught her off guard. Of course, once she woke up, it felt like time was doing double time to keep her from doing anything. It was all she could do to nod when she asked if she had difficulties using her ki. But..what really threw her off was the quick peck to the cheek, the Sayian-Demon stammering as her face turned bright red again. Sadly, that red was destined to get deeper and deeper as Reikiko told her that her chest wasn't big enough, causing Letu to look down slowly. She had no way of knowing, no possible way of divining how much hearing that stung.
She wasn't a very confident person. She didn't know how to react to everything that had happened. She muttered a soft phrase accepting her apology, attempting to piece together what Rei meant as she slipped out of bed, finding that her clothes had been taken, replaced instead with a simple set of underwear and..some kind of Gi? She didn't really question it. With a name like the Crane Style, of course they would have a distinctive outfit. It was surprisingly light. The color..wasn't one she thought that she would wear normally, being green and yellow.
Still, as she brushed her hair back down into her customary Bob cut, the Saiyaness couldn't help but smile. She had made a move on Kaula because she desired affection. Well...She certainly had that. Maybe...She didn't need to be strong...Kaula, Hikari, and Reikiko..they would protect her...wouldn't they? She shoved the thought into the back of her mind, clenching a fist tightly. No. She wouldn't fade into the background. She had to give her all. Make this training she was so graciously being given matter. She took a moment to calm down before she walked out into the main cabin, her Dogi fitting perfectly, the Saiyan Demon smiling silently as she awaited the information as to what would be done today.

When Letu arrived outside she would have found Reikiko standing at the ledge of the cliff, looking across the forest, and after a moment she finally turned towards the girl with a smile upon her lips.
"For this morning exercise Letu we're going to combine free-running with a lecture on the Crane style. Don't worry, I'll keep my pace to ensure you can keep up, but still got to give it your all. Your body should feel lighter than normally thanks to my energy, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem."
She smiled calmly as she gestured for the girl to accompany her, and while the Bio-android started to jog down the path she started to speak in a cheerful tone.
"You're rather lucky when it comes to your compatibility with the Crane style. On terms of martial arts we rely on swift and explosive attacks, like speedy barrages that rely less on raw power and more on overwhelming your foe. If you learn to use your ki's properties to enhance your offensive power... Imagine it a bit like..."
She stopped for a moment next to the wall they had been running along and suddenly the girl started to punch into the wall. Her fists were swift, almost a blur but it seemed only small cracks appeared until she suddenly pulled her arm backwards and with a smirk made a final punch. The last punch curiously enough was accompanied with a sudden spark in her hand, the sudden jolt of energy seemingly causing a small explosion from her knuckle that made a modest hole appear in the wall as she resumed her run.
"I'm going to help you master this approach. If you learn to amplify your physical attacks with your ki you could easily break an enemy's bones, or when you get strong enough even blow a hole in their body, albeit that doesn't sound healthy."
She chuckled softly as they arrived at the base, and without a warning the girl's leap send her into one of the higher branches of a tree, the second jump making her twist around in the air to see if the girl could keep up.
"Don't slow down now Letu, Martial arts always begin with learning the basics, imitations and pushing yourself beyond your limits~"
The words seemed surprisingly deep for one with such a childish look.
"So, any questions you'd like to ask me? Feel free to ask me anything, even if it isn't training related. As long as you can keep up we can talk~"

Though she didn't quite show it on the surface, Letu was relieved that they were starting their training with a test of her speed and agility, rather than a test of strength or endurance. She was light, yeah. And she capitalised on it, so making her body feel even lighter than normal? That was definitely going to be a big help. So, as Reikiko set off down the path, Letu set off down the path alongside Reikiko, listening intently to what was said, raising an eyebrow when it was stated that this brand of martial arts focused on fast and explosive attacks..her current bread and butter. In truth, she felt as if Reikiko was only saying what she was to try and give her some hope.
Of course, mere moments after speaking of her compatibility with the Crane Style, Rei stopped and demonstrated to her on a wall, causing the saiyan-demon to blink as she followed after her, a voice in the back of her mind insisting that she'd never be able to master such a complicated technique. Of course, as they picked up the pace, Letu seemed to not even notice, keeping up with little incident, even on the jumps, her footing was sure, and she seemed to move with the grace of a practiced dancer. Still, if Reikiko thought she had been silent before, than the moment of near silence where Letu attempted to figure out what she would ask was near stifling. Still, she had a topic after a short amount of time, picking up the pace to be moving in tandem with her mentor.
I suppose my first question is how you could tell that my Ki is very volatile. Most people seem to brush it off as normal, or even ignore it entirely..so how were you able to detect one of my more closely guarded secrets? a simple question, even if it was slightly hyperbolized. She didn't tend to talk about her more..explosive nature. It was genuinely concerning for her, because with the way she had seen others fight, it seemed that this wasn't a problem that was normal for everyone. She wanted this problem resolved if that was the case, as useful as her explosive attacks possibly could be, it didn't matter if it was holding her back, preventing her from protecting the things and people she cared about.

"Oh?"
The question was unexpected as the bio-android bounced from one branch onto the other, and curiously enough it seemed her instincts had been so honed that even as she turned around to face her student, she was able to keep the same pace even while moving backwards. That was actually a pretty interesting thought the girl had, and after a moment of considering how to explain it, swishing her tail along the air to grab a branch, tossing her body a few branches further than normally while she explained.
"While you were asleep, I used an ability of mine. To describe this technique in a simple way, I donated some of my energy, however it's not just a simple ki sacrifice."
She shook her head while she suddenly allowed her body to be coated in an aura of crimson energy, her speed seemingly increasing while Letu would likely notice a fainter version of the aura came around her own body.
"This technique allows me to lend you a bit of my essence, it forms a very special connection both physically, mentally and spiritually. Don't worry, it's entirely harmless... in fact Kaula has it also."
She grinned briefly thinking about the progress involved but finally she slowed down near what appeared to be a river.
"During this donation I sensed your energy, almost as if it was my own. It's for that reason I decided to do your first training sessions myself while Hikari works on creating a training system that will let you learn to put those properties to use. Your ki is destructive, yet a threat to yourself and others, but together we can learn to put it into a weapon for you to protect people with. I was once in a similar situation as you, albeit my ki is a bit different. Most people have a very easy to manipulate energy, some like yourself have types that are more challenging to master. My own is one of the latter, because of the way I was created my ki usually acts with the intention to kill, rather than being volatile it was murderous, till I learned how to bend it to my will. Now a question from me..."
She paused for a moment as her body blurred out of sight, causing the bio-android to reappear right behind Letu, a hand gently trying to touch her waist as distraction while her fingertips tried to reach for the small horns on the girl's head.
"Horns... They look cute on you~ I wonder if they are like my crown, like do they absorb anything? Maybe lust to keep you from becoming too naughty."
Certain that it would stir a reaction she finally let out a soft giggle.
"Sorry~ Sorry~ Just couldn't resist. Seeing you get all embarrassed is surprisingly adorable. Either way, back to training."
She gestured toward the nearby River, stepping toward the bank.
"Don't worry, the water is shallow enough for you to be able to stand in. However, you'll be needing to put a little bit of effort to keep your body from being pushed backwards with the flow. For now get in the water, whether you keep your Gi on, or decide to go in your underwear is your own choice, we'll help you dry it when you get back to the cottage."
She hopped onto a rock amidst the river, sitting down to explain with a smile.
"This training will be a light warming up in the form of training both your endurance and to help you deal with turning that volatile energy into a boon. For the first you'll find out that the longer you stay in the water, the harder it will become to keep your footing steady, for the second... I want you to practice the following. Try to punch the surface of the water, as if you want to splash someone, but at the very last moment infuse it with your ki. Will likely take you a few tries before you get the timing right, if you do it correctly you will cause an effect like..."
She jumped into the air before spinning her body downwards, one of her fists crashing into the water, but instead of a wave a literal pillar had formed around the girl, the water being like a twister before it subdued and she hovered back into the air.
"That will be your end training for this exercise. Once you succeed with this you'll be able to get a basic grasp on the output of your ki, don't mind if you fail at first, most in your situation would either produce too many or too little energy and as a result their lack of control makes it become a wave."

Post by Letu on Apr 11, 2016 15:54:31 GMT
The moment the red aura flared up around her, causing her to pick up speed, Letu stumbled, her hands shooting out to catch a branch as she fell, the Saiyan-Demon flipping upwards onto the next branch, still being a good distance behind Reikiko, before she simply vanished, the touch to her waist making Letu jump, while the comment on her horns made her face slowly become as red as her hair, the quiet girl huffing softly as Reikiko mercifully stopped teasing her. Though..with what she said, she supposed it made sense that the crown on her head was so large. However, if she had found what they had been doing at least a bit hard, this was going to be nearly impossible. She sighed softly as Reikiko went back to hovering, leaving her to do her thing. I think it would be a better idea to leave the Gi on. God knows what you'll say or do if I take it off. She said, muttering softly as she slipped her shoes off, the socks coming with to give her better traction as she shook her hair out a bit, giving Reikiko a brief glance at her forehead, revealing the horns to be coming right out of the skin, as if they were a part of her skull. And the horns..don't really do anything..their just..my horns. She said, teasing Reikiko's curiosity on the subject by not actually explaining WHY a saiyan like her would have horns. After she finished speaking however, she waded slowly into the river, slipping momentarily, catching herself before she fully fell into the water. She slowly rose up, her face mere inches from the surface of the water, the river itself coming up to her knees. Of course, due to her inherent lack of endurance, her knees were already knocking underneath the fairly cloudy surface. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes as she did so, only opening them slowly as she raised a hand up, her fingers clenching into a fist as she slammed it down quickly, her ki redirecting and focusing into her hand..but it was too little. It didn't even turn it into a wave. Her hand just plopped down into the water, making a surging ripple that ringed out from the point of impact. She frowned, raising her hand to try again..as the surge knocked her off of her feet upon impact, the sudden shift in pressure on her legs sweeping them out from under her with a sharp shriek as she plunged underneath the surface, the current carrying her for a few feet before she was able to breach the surface, her ability to fly assisting her greatly. She growled, her hair now completely plastered down even as her gi began to fit her form more thoroughly. She shook her head softly, shaking her bangs out of her eyes as she sighed, her feet spreading apart, finding a single depression in the rock bed of the river, her left foot hooking into it as she repeated the process, her efforts "rewarding" her with the creation of a fairly large wave, considering the size of the river. While the sudden shift in current did help her to stand more straight, the moment her wave came crashing down, so did she, the current proceeding to knock her off of her feet. However, thanks to the depression in the ground, she wasn't swept away this time. Of course, now the Gi was sticking to her like a second skin.
It was at this moment that the voices in the back of her head were more like a roar. It had only been a single minute, and already she had fallen twice. Just STANDING in the river was getting to be too much for her, as she felt her left foot slip inch by inch. Gritting her teeth, and clenching her fists, she struck at the water again, the amount of ki in her hand ending up a massive explosion of water, the amount of ki being expelled suddenly spiking to super saiyan levels before sinking back down, Letu stumbling back with tears silently rolling down her face as she feebly punched at the water, failing with each strike to actually recreate the pillar of water, her hands actually setting off small explosions under the water. All the while, Reikiko would be bombarded with a shower of feelings: Impotence, frustration, anger..however..there was something..strange about this anger. It was not directed outwards. Rather..it seemed to be directed inwards, the damage not being taken out on her surroundings, but on the Saiyan-Demon herself. While at first, the sudden burst of feeling coming through their link would have been similar to someone screeching in both of her ears, but if she could withstand the sudden explosion of feelings, words would make their way through, in Letu's own voice. But..distant, as if it were from a great range, rather than mere feet below her.
Too much. Not enough. Never enough. Never right. No point in trying. Stagnant. Inept.
Stop it...stop it..! the young saiyaness would whine under her breath, gritting her teeth to bite back a whine as she rose her left hand up one last time, allowing gravity to bring it down as she finally, mercifully found the right amount, the water leaping up to surround her, creating a pillar before the Ki cut out, leaving Letu standing in the river, up to her neck in water, the link cutting off as she hugged herself, a smile hidden underneath her hair and tears. She had done it..hadn't she..? She felt so spent..as if she had just unleashed years worth of built up emotion in a single strike. She had to be sure though. So, taking a deep breath..she rose on shaky feet, cracking the knuckles in her left hand as she lifted her hand back..and shot down, focusing Ki into her hand at the last possible moment, recreating the process with ease. Again. Same results. Switch hands, again. Same results. As she did it over and over without fail, a kind of wild laughter, punctuated with sobs escaped her. She had done it. She really had. She was making progress! She repeated this process for three or four minutes before she finally stopped, stumbling back towards the edge of the river, laughing like a madwoman as her butt hit the sand. I did it..I..*hic* really did it! She said, her breath catching in the form of hiccups as she allowed herself to collapse back on the sand.

Although she had been trying to focus onto Letu's attempts, seemingly leaning a bit forwards there was something that subtly confused her. The girl was clearly focusing on her training, but as the progress remained to remains at a snail's pace it was clear certain emotions were being felt by the girl. Such negative emotions, she had been able to endure the screeching, but while Letu's thoughts seemed to manifest within her mind, followed by a sudden shout Reikiko had been so startled she tumbled forwards off the rock, her wings rapidly unfolding to catch herself in mid-air, clearly a bad decision for Letu's fist had crashed down a final time, this time causing a part of the pillar to hit her right in the face.
"brlll"
Her words were muted by the water, hovering backwards as the pillar of water was subdued and she found herself drenched, a soft grumble escaping her lips before realizing what had happened. Her student had seemingly just succeeded in her first exercise, the bittersweet joy clearly having an effect on her, and while she watched Letu drop onto her rear Reikiko greet her with a smirk, raising a hand toward her when suddenly a flash of crimson light came above her, followed by a soft long towel dropping down above the girl.
"Mmm you did~"
She smiled briefly at Letu, idly thinking about the voice she heard earlier. Were those Letu's inner-thoughts? While she thought it might had been the case the desperate whine made her wonder if that was truly the reason.
"Take a moment to catch your breath, after that we'll focus onto your next exercise."
Still her body was a bit chilly, a small tremble escaping from it while she allowed the water to slowly dry.
"But before that, let's do a different type of challenge, shall we Letu? Have you ever heard of the 'Trials of Honesty and Truth?'"
She likely wouldn't, but that was perfect for what Reikiko had in mind.
"Simply said it's a trial where you get to answer questions, a truthful answer will get you a reward, a lie will get you a 'punishment'. However, for this trial I'm also going to teach you a new technique, but either way for the first question..."
She paused for a moment, her lips curving up into a grin as she gestured with a hand toward the girl.
"Do you realize your Gi has become a see-through outfit? Is that a mistake, or working as intended?"
It was but a jest, but she knew that due to their connection she could likely read the girl's emotions during the question, meaning she could deduct the answer if her adorable student was going to be trying to tease her again.

When her limited vision was even further limited by the towel, Letu frowned underneath it, the long, soft thing having actually dropped onto her head, her horns pushing against the fabric to have it hanging from her head, the Saiyan-Demon grumbling softly as she toweled off her hair, listening to what her mentor was saying, only to freeze when the question was asked, the feelings conveying themselves through their link. She had been so caught up in celebrating that she hadn't even realized what had happened to her Gi. So, before she even said anything, Letu self-consciously wrapped the towel around herself, the long thing coming down to just above her knees and chest, the Saiyaness tying the towel off at the top to keep herself covered, her face a brighter red than even her own hair. N..no..I didn't know.. She mumbled, just loud enough to be heard over the quiet gurgling of the river. But I'm glad I kept it on now.. She thought, the thought hopefully not travelling through the link-but most likely did-as she shakily rose to her feet, seemingly reminded of something. So, holding one hand, palm up in front of herself, she focused her ki into the area just above her palm, a perfectly round sphere forming, one that was..surprisingly deep in color, and even reflective. It was such a clear, perfect black that it acted like a mirror outlined in silver. Well..that..certainly is an improvement from what it was. She said before cutting the Ki off and letting her hand drop. Alright..I answered the first question..so what's next? She asked, curious if Rei would believe her, or if she would punish her just for the fun of it.
Granted, Reikiko didn't seem like that kind of person..with the exception of what had happened this morning. Still..it had ended up being beneficial to her..so that balanced out in her mind. Still, she had come to expect anything after this morning. So, lacing her fingers within each other behind her back, she prepared for Reikiko's judgement, her face the perfect neutral mask, though she secretly was very nervous as to what the outcome was going to be, if she was going to be punished, or if she was going to be believed.

She smiled briefly at Letu's response to the question, humming softly.
"I agree, quite a improvement, now for the next question..."
She stepped backwards, stretching her arms playfully while considering the next question.
"The next question: Why do you dislike yourself so much?"
She was sure the question would make the girl confused, but she gently raised a hand to her own chest, tapping it briefly when she explained in a softer tone.
"Earlier you were clearly frustrated, but not just angry at being unable to complete your exercise. Those negative feelings... They were aimed at a specific person."
She slowly turned her back at Letu and after a moment explained the nature of her earlier question.
"You hate yourself, don't you? So answer my question: What is it that provokes those feelings?"
It seemed this time she had given Letu a serious question, but for what reason? Only time would tell... Nevertheless, as her mentor it was her duty to help Letu overcome such obstacles, and the bio-android did have some thoughts in mind. It would just be a matter of figuring out the best approach on how to help Letu deal with her problems.
