( Nostalgic Ayumu )( Thread PL: 16,015) The Arena of Champions, some called it. The Strongest Under The Heavens was a tournament where all the best fighters gathered to fight towards one goal. The title of World's Martial Arts Champion and a boat load of money. Treylech had gone for it once before, but he had to withdraw because of his mother. He was far more likely to win now that he had the use of ki locked away in his arsenal. It drew an exceptional line in his life, and he wished he could show his mother. He wondered what she would think about it, not that it really mattered now. He found himself watching the fights, but not really paying attention. Everyone was moving so slow now. He was almost disappointed at how easy to read their movements were. It affected his opinion of his past self. There was a point in time where he was just like them. He stepped up to the side of the ring and waited for their fight to end. While the tournament was still a ways out, people seemed to come to the grounds to keep training throughout the year. The two men in the ring were apparently regulars, as everyone in the small little clique gathered around the ring were crying out names and cheering them on. Treylech appreciated this. It kept the current status of the fight fresh in his mind, regardless of him zoning out. He wondered what he could do to take his training to the next level. He had tried gravity training before with Raisu, but it didn't really seem to take as much of an effect as he was hoping. At least not immediately. He pondered finding a new sparring partner, but that could take a while. He needed someone who was close enough to him where he could actually keep up, but strong enough that it took effect. He was dragged back to reality by a large wave of cheers. One of the men who went by the name Sethera stood victorious over the other. Sethera waved, riling up the crowd even more. He spoke with a reckless abandon. "Come on. Next fight. I want a challenge."Treylech didn't wait for anyone else. He wanted that chance. It wasn't so much to knock Sethera off his arrogant steed, but to get in the ring and fight. He wanted to do something, rather than stand around and wait for a random ring to clear out. Sethera let out a grin. "Do we have a taker? Alright. I was expecting the need to push harder, but an immediate challenge is good enough for me." Sethera stretches, despite having warmed up his body in the previous fight. Treylech interpreted it as cocky, and let it go. Ultimately, Treylech went unbothered by the man's comment, thinking he was just spouting nonsense. "I'm here. Let's get to it." He fell into a fighting stance, bracing his legs. "You really in a hurry to get hurt? Fine. Good luck." Sethera started off at a run, closing the distance between the two at a moderate pace. Well, moderate for Treylech's standards. It was quick to everyone viewing from the outside. He came in with a slew of punches and kicks, which Treylech dealt with accordingly. He would block, knock them aside, and very rarely evade them entirely. Every now and then he'd lash out with a simple strike which Sethera would knock aside and smirk like he was going to win the battle. Treylech didn't see a reason to try very hard. Eventually, Sethera's constant attacks wore him down to the point that he was visibly slower. He left more openings, so Treylech took advantage. A well placed strike to disorient, then a hip throw to slam him into the arena. One count passed. Two. Ten total counts, and Sethera didn't get back up. He wasn't dead, as his chest shifted slowly with his breathing, but it was obvious that he didn't have it in him to fight any more. Treylech helped him to his feet and escorted him out of the ring. The crowd that had gathered were quiet. They weren't exactly sure what had happened, but regardless, Treylech addressed them. "Alright. That was fun. Who's next?"

With his eyes slowly blinking, Ayumu was suprised at the mere instant resolve of the final bout of the match. That throw was not akin to a mere warrior that ended up in this end of the country to fight for profit or for some sort of self relief. There were even some warriors Ayumu himself had gazed upon before slowly letting out a sigh, moving his hand up into the sky with a rather comfortable smile. There was always not a single amount of strenght within his own Body, yet he kept some form of speed that belonged to Hana...
"Would you mind allowing this old fart to give you a small little challenge?"
Ayumu softly moved his hands to shake Hana awake as she had started to doze off in the crowd, a small bubble attached to her nose as with a rather comedic pop it burst apart, ayumu using a wrap of energy to prevent the muscus from becoming a mess as he passed a quick hankerchief towards her.
"Come on, don't embaress us, you have to... just blow your nose."
It took a few minutes for these two to stop acting like complete fools, their actions towards each other had respect and in a sense reminded people of an grandfather with a grandchild, his eyes sparkling as he kept trying to get her to calm down from the slight panick while she woke up. Yet it all changed when the old fart spoke about a fight and then once again started speaking in a rather loud tone towards the fighter in the ring.
"Hana from the training school of Ayumu, she wishes to challenge you in a match but you may decide the style that will be used for this. If none will be selected it will be a simple street brawling match untill one of us goes down to the ground. I hope you will be satisfied with just fighting my student and not me, because this little gal has to learn how to make a good opponent for the warriors on earth."
Lifting up the woman with his rather impressive arms, Ayumu patted the back of Hana with a comforting nod before throwing her towards the middle of the ring, keeping her hands down on the piece of cloth that could allow one to peek in for a view of her panties, attempting to destroy any chances of seeing hers. With a few frontwards flips, her feet soon landed on the ground with a wave of dust starting to expand outwards as a smile was visible on the woman her face as she started doing a few hops from left to right. Excitingly hoping that you would be making this incredibly interesting and fun to boot! It was always exciting in Hana her mind when she found somebody who was willing to put in everything for a single match and she was sure as hell not gonna hold back in this moment to see what this person could do.
-PL : 0 for ayumu and PL : 3396096 Hana- -If you wish to reduce hana's pl by any amount up to 80k, i am willing to yield because i honestly don't remember what PL i used to be. So please pm me what you would want it to be?-

(I apologize for the lack of strength in my wording.)
Treylech smiled as the older gentleman spoke up. He knew not to underestimate his opponents due to their appearance. He figured the man had enough confidence considering he had seen the fight before. Then the unexpected happened.
He swapped a woman in. Hana, he called her. There was a large difference in strength between himself and her. He knew she wasn’t a joke, but he had offered a fight and he was going to see it through. He stepped over to the edge of the arena and offered his hand to her.
He wasn’t doing this for just any reason. He knew she was more than capable of fighting. He did it out of respect, mainly, but he had to ask her a favor as she got in the ring, and he was simply setting up for it.

While you offered a hand, Hana gave a look of suprise, almost shocked to the point of disbelief with her face turning a bit red as she looked away, Taking it and letting herself be pulled inside. One of her legs was a sudden suprise upon not being hidden between the crowd and behind the wall of this little arena as it seemed to be made from an strange kind of metal. To make matters even worse, there was a small pulsation within the arm that was grasped as upon closer inspection, the shapeshifting energy that was visible in many warriors was also visible on this arm, small ripples appearing that showed a deep, empty darkness that was equal to space itself with many diffrent colours hiding themselves within this “Thank you very much, i have not seen a man with manners like yours in a while, thankfully i have to tell you that i cannot wait for this match. Ayumu has always knocked my head into the dirt without giving me a single chance to react so i hope to teach you a few knacks and knocks!” if this was supposed to be intimidation, it lacked every single factor about it. It was easily seen that the tone of voice Hana had put up was honesty, kindness and even a small fragment of respect that started to bleed through.
The crowd itself was not happy with the time it was taking for this woman to enter the stage, lacking tools of ki sensing or even the finer appreciations of how she had managed to hop into the range whilest wasting barely any movements, only was followed by jeers of complaints that were focussed at the lack of any action going on. But after a single stomp cracking a few wooden planks of the tribune before being repaired by the hand of that old fart called Ayumu, a large zoanthrope that he seemingly muttered “chinatsu” towards let out a bouldering roar “Let the fighters take their time! On the battlefield we always demand more time, we always stall but let these fighters who have not yet prepared take their time! Who are we to be standing in their way of traditions?!” Although she had a fair point, the few drunkards in the tribune that were not impressed with her destructive sense of intimidation on the crowd met a rather swift defeat after throwing a few lackluster punches, simply being thrown down to the ground as she kept her sharp eyes focussed onto the ring itself, a few other cloaked figures sitting in random positions spread in the circle, almost making one wonder just how many people of this old man were hiding around here.
(Have a short post, sorry!)

Treylech noticed as her cheeks became flushed ever so slightly by such a simple gesture, but he knew he almost had the same reaction. Had he truly been the only person who held such an open and well-mannered disposition? It was almost disappointing.
He was raised by the streets to be a thug, but his mother's teachings still held strong within his mind. Respect others unless they prove unfit for it. It was such a simple little philosophy, but he tried his best to uphold it.
With his past as a thief and a liar, he felt he himself was unfit. He was hoping to change that, and if that was done one small gesture at a time, he was proud to say it started from this small gesture. He gave a light tug to help guide her up the lip and into the arena.
He smiled and leaned in, speaking just loud enough to be heard only by her as the crowd made their jests. ”I know you’re much stronger than me. I can feel it. Just don’t hurt me too much. At least hold back enough to make it interesting for the crowd, okay?”
The strength difference was vastly significant. He didn’t want to be placed firmly on his face in the floor in only a handful of seconds. He took a step back, looking into her eyes with a faint smile before turning his back on her and taking his place at the starting space. He fell into his boxing stance. ”Good luck. Let’s have a little fun with it, huh?”
He was excited and, despite his confidence externally, a little flustered. Maybe it was just the moment, but he had a deep fascination for this girl. Perhaps it was just her initial reaction to his kindness, but he immediately wanted to see more of her. Maybe she could be the redemption for his lost soul. He knew only time could answer that.
He was finally ready, and the fight was about to be underway. ”Right. We can start whenever.”
(I didn't exactly give you too much to work with. Hopefully this one will do better. I had a lot of fun writing it.)

While you went to your own corner and started taking your stance, Hana raised a surprised look on her face with her mouth softly opening before firmly being slammed shut as she gritted her teeth with a smirk visible on her face “Boxing... No legs huh...!” Thick ropes of energy starting to excrete from her as she shouted towards the woman in the audience, the one that had stomped the ground just moments before. “Hey! Is this starting to come closer to his power? I lack the manners for sensing it correctly, so tell me when it is enough!” as rapidly her own power started to decrease with this cloaked Zoanthrope just kept a close eye on the strength of the both of you before letting a single clapping sound echo through the audience “There we go! Thank you Chinatsu!, Sorry mister I don't know your name but I have never learned to function with what you guys call Ki sense, I have never done so and I never will, it takes away the fun and the challenge of most things!” Slamming her fists together to sense how much strength she had, a soft awkward smile appeared on her face, almost disappointed, she could not make a shock wave expand from her mere slamming fists above the ring. Yet it did not hurt her excitement for this match as she did a few practice jabs before then looking around for somebody to ring a bell, surely if they were to use boxing there should be a bell involved right?
It did not last long for her to start manifesting a small blue object with a small hand that held a stick for ringing the bell, a large smile coming up on her face, only to be ruined by the aspect that she could start whenever according to you, only to realize it was kind of obvious that it would not have a judge! Hitting herself on the head for this small accident, with a snap of the fingers the bell and the hand vanished in thin air before she rushed forwards, leaving a small crack on the ground while blasting forwards “Here I come! My name is Hana, warrior under the school of Ayumu, from the moment we clash our fists we are considered friends so you better accept this fight with everything you have!” Aiming for delivering a strong jab that was masked as a slower hook using her other hand, she seemingly already started enjoying this fight!
Ayumu, sitting in the audience simply took this moment to do what he did best, Sending a few telepathic messages to his minions and starting to roam around in the audience, some of them loosing their cloaks and showing a rather revealing outfit for selling snacks, from still warm hotdogs to ice cold soda's and waters, there were a large amount of selection that was put on display as they started walking around trying to earn a fair penny at this match. Ayumu himself just sitting there smirking as he saw the money starting to come in~
-Hana using telepathy with Chinatsu shall stick to your Power level at a small average, it may differ a wee bit but ki sense is not perfect as we all know~ plus hana can't sense ki levels after all xD-

Treylech's stance was simply a ruse. While he originally took the pose of a boxer, his footing changed quickly the instant that Hana started moving. He rotated his left leg around back and turned his torso with it, bringing his hand with and curling in his elbow.
He had a feeling she would judge his stance and try to adjust accordingly, so he went for something he could easily counter. He had faced a lot of boxers in his time and had a feeling a hook was just aistraction before she went for his legs, so he planned on adjusting his legs to be less of a target.
His left foot pushed off as she just about closed the gap and he spun his entire torso quickly. He attempted to hook his left arm into the nook inside of her swinging fist and swing his knee around to the side of her head. If it worked, he would follow through by grabbing her arm with his right and spin her around to disorient her.
In the back of his mind, he felt it was a flawed strategy, but he didn't exactly have the time to judge her fighting based off of one single strike. He just hoped he wasn't throwing this fight because he overlooked a single crack in his defensive strategy.
In all honesty, it was a huge possibility. Fighting someone who was stronger than him was a difficult thing regardless of the situation. The fact that she was trying to fight around his strength didn't really mean much other than the fact her punches probably wouldn't hurt as much as they could, but even that was debatable. How does one weaken their body's natural resistance to physical attacks?
He didn't honestly know, but the excitement was there despite this fact. This was the first time he would have a fight around his level, even if their natural strength was much higher than his own. Not to mention the fact that he had already earned her respect from offering his hand. Who really knew if his ruse would get her attention. That's subliminally what he was trying to do anyways.

Using her fingers to slam against the air, she managed to change her positioning to move away from the lock that was occurring suddenly with a look of interest, tracing the movement of his body while a few fighting styles were cycling through her head with a soft trickle of blood coming from between two finger joints having put a small amount of force too much for her body to handle. Although her little escape seemed little more than reversing force, by closer inspection it was visible that with a few parts of her body moving, she could project herself as if she was touching a solid wall, was this a form of flight itself she was mixing into this combat? “I have been underestimating you... My mistake, my mistake~” She spoke happily while softly starting to sway her body, going mentally through a few small little plans that she could perform until one thing was certain. “I have never been one for thinking during a fight, for that I have that old fart sitting behind me mostly telling me what to do, it works wonders, although let us make this a dance shall we? Mister no name~”
Suddenly jumping back into combat, her body flipped upside down while aiming to build up momentum with the flip for a rather vicious heel drop, yet instead of just allowing the spin to keep going ahead without any intrusion she slammed her hands multiple times against the air causing small ripples to expand on what seemed to be empty air before building up more and more momentum with every blow. Yet her body would soon straighten out from its spherical shape to reduce as much air drag as possible while directly grasping the air itself, preparing herself for the impact of the heel if it were to strike you, but the main surprise would be for if it were to miss, upon which she would pull on the air to slam the heel towards your arm by spinning her body before kicking away. “I ain't going to offer many chances for you because if anybody were to defeat me, I would have to add just another rival that I want to grow above!”
Ayumu himself was starting to be distracted by a group of punks coming up and stealing some food, starting to engage in a small fist fight himself, people in the audience starting to roar out for the fighters, Even one of the saleswomen who was a large Ryashi with her tail curled around one of the punks, shouting words of encouragement towards them while beating her fists into the thugs face repeatedly.

His whole leg spun aimlessly as he slid to a stop. The force of his kick held enough momentum almost to throw him off balance. He staggered with a look of shock, but it came back to determination in a matter of moments as he corrected himself.
He fell into a basic stance, but let his guard down when she spoke. Shock crossed his face as she finished. ”Wait dance?” His face became flushed with embarrassment as he completely misinterpreted her meaning. He had never heard the phrase before and his mind immediately turned to a pink and flowery imagining of both Hana and himself almost face to face with his hand wrapped ever so precariously around her waist.
Blood leaked softly from his nose and he covered it with his hand. She leapt into action while he was lost in his mind for the short moment and her heel slammed into him and placed him firmly on the floor. He clutched the back of his head as a lump started to swell up. ”Ow…”

While seeing you go down to the ground, Hana held back on following up the attack with a second blow as she simply threw herself back to the other side of the ring to create a rather decent distance with a flaming passion burning within her eyes. Surprised by how you let down your guard, she assumed it was a advanced trick, to counter when she was least expecting it she did not give a single opening while letting her voice boom outwards “Mister noname, Mister who I do not know the name off, You are a warrior are you not? Stop wriggling around in pain and show me that brilliant smile you showed me before!” Slamming her hands together before giving a look of shock as a sound of a explosion was heard from the audience. “I am certain you would make a great he-” While looking down at the ground with a piece of metal tapping against the ground, a small trickle of blood making its way down her cheek as she just laughed painfully. Frustration was coloring her face in a thousand colors in a figurative sense of the word, her conscious a bit hazy as the previously called Ayumu made his way down from the stage, running as fast as he could towards the harmed Hana to get something done about this wound. At first it was clearly visible to be quite a back stab by a member in the audience who was armed with a single revolver in his hand along with a mask on his face, seemingly pulled out after the fight had begun but after a few moments the wound had started to stabilize itself, giving Trey just enough time to realize that there was somebody willing to take lives away in this audience, to ruin this fight that had been going on and above all, somebody who was risking innocent lives. That last look Hana had given you was not one of just a mere rival, it was of a comrade, a warrior alongside her to fight against other challengers, to fight against other warriors who would have placed themselves in the dark spotlight.
For somebody of your power it would not be hard to jump towards the person and take him out, especially before he could fire another shot!
(Shorter post because fun~)

Treylech took a moment to try and get back up. Half of the way there was a loud, memorable bang before silence. It’s not that there was no more sound, it was more of his mind blocking out the sounds around him. Everything was still.
Except for the sound of his beating heart. He felt the shot. It didn’t hit him, but it came with pain regardless. Two shots echoed in his head. One that just happened and another of a distant memory. He saw his past, and the body of his best friend falling slowly to the floor. The dead expression in his eyes hurt more than any bullet could have.
He glanced at Hana and saw red. Blood trickling from a wound. He turned and glanced back at the assailant. A man in a mask, like something out of the past. His past. The gang that he ran with came to mind.
He was shaking for a moment as the gun leveled again. His body moved on its own, closing the distance and slamming into the perpetrator with his shoulder and throwing off the second shot. As the man staggered back, Treylech caught his hand and twisted, snapping the bones in his wrist before slamming his palm into the man’s chest and reuniting the man’s face with the floor.
Treylech didn’t even look at the gun. He watched the man cautiously as he picked up the handgun. He cocked the chamber, ejected the clip, removed the lock that held the barrel in place and popped it free. The man tried to stand up only to get smacked in the chin with the disassembled handgun.
Treylech leaned in close to the man and growled at him. ”You’re lucky I’m not the killing type.” He pocketed the barrel pin and jumped back into the ring to check on Hana. ”Is she alri- Hana, are you okay?”

As the man was knocked out, simply laying on the ground as you moved away, a unnatural snapping sound was heard as black fumes started making their way upwards, the eye sockets showing whites as his mouth was emitting this thick black fume that was first falling to the ground before rising up as people in the audience ran in all directions, a few words mentally being spoken towards you “The fangs are rising again... You relic... will suffer.” Before falling to the ground and rolling down a few seats, some trails of blood visible yet he was not dead.
A few moments later Ayumu moved himself away as he was coughing up a red sustenance while looking painfully towards the body, his eyes glistering with tears as the bleeding had stopped on Hana her body, a feverish cough coming from her mouth as he grasped towards you. Almost in a panic with his eyes looking over you entirely before simply dropping himself to his knees, wiping away tears as a soft emotional touch was made telepathically, his mind a bit out of whack from what had occurred before saying “I am sorry, she is the first I considered my new family... I lack any grandchildren anymore to call my own, but that is this curse of mine to bear. I am just terrible when people die, if you ever were to kick the bucket promise me to come back and visit us as soon as possible, because friends don't let anything stop them from being with each other.” Slowly bringing up his fist, Ayumu simply sat there on his knees, an old, muscular man with scars on his limbs that were hidden upon a longer distance, some even integrated under a few old tans as they told stories, entire novels about how much there must have been. Yet here was, reaching out one of his fists towards you while awaiting a soft bump with Hana slowly helped up with his other, his eyes refusing to look away from you as you were a true hero in somebody their eyes. Somebody that they would have appreciated for a while and would not wish to abandon at any point in time, somebody that they hoped would visit whenever there was a occasion for a birthday, a cup of tea or even a event that had occurred.

Was this a curse? Was his life destined to remain corrupted for an eternity? He tried so hard to turn his life around, but his criminal past kept taking hold. It wasn’t just upsetting, though. It was infuriating. He reached out and lowered Ayumu’s outstretched fist, gently lowering it.
”I have come so far from where I was. The blood on my hands doesn’t belong to innocent people anymore. So why does it feel like I’m still a monster in the eyes of the people? Am I so cursed? Why can’t my past just leave me the hell alone?”
He felt it again. A swelling anger in his chest. His vision was blurring and the lines that distinguished reality around him began to blur. He started shaking uncontrollably. ”Fine. If the world wants me to be a monster, then so be it.”
He staggered to his feet again as the darkness in his heart took over. While he didn’t get any stronger in his ‘transformation’, he did change drastically. Any ounce of kindness in his soul was snuffed out and the only thing that remained was pure, unadulterated rage. Mercy would not be shown anymore.
”The Fangs will never come back. I will do everything in my power to stop that.” He turns to the man and his fingers spark up with energy. His aura breathes with a heavy radiance that seems to suck the life out of the area surrounding him.
It’s not physical, but it’s there, feeding off the crowd as he forms ki into the palm of his hand. ”If killing is the only way, then you’ll be the first.”

(I normally don't use songs, i personally dislike using songs as there is always that one person who shouts out that somebody will be stealing their theme. But fuck it. For once i am using a song again. I hope you will enjoy this post as much as i was enjoying writing it.)
While Ayumu looked at you charging your energy, he felt a strange sense of pain within his torso, tilting his head away from the events that were slowly unfolding. Yet a sudden grip of Hana lifting herself up as she moved herself forwards with a few bubbling notions starting to clean her entire appearance before she just showed a large smile before stepping infront of the blast before it could have been fired while spreading her arms, unleashing her energy. Her words were gentle, strangely so as she had always been so energetic and full of excitement, yet she was so.. calming for a mere moment as she sang. “But then I saw you crying there out in the audience.” Softly spinning in her spot, she hopped from one leg to another, keeping her dance to block the projectile from moving in any direction while slowly closing in on your hand that was sticking out to charge, almost as if attempting to just douse this energy. “Put on a happy face and smile, You look much better when you smile~” After her attempt to douse the energy, she took a single backwards before spinning away and looking up to the sky, bending the lyrics lightly as the tune was off key, but her message came across better “our friends don't seem to notice, the tears streaming down your cheek but I did...”
That was when she send out a single mental image, an image that slowly developed into movement, one that was showing more than you could have imagined as a young looking Hana was standing before a large blinding flash, as the people who were able to be picked off via emotions to be the father, mother, friends, sisters, people she knew, everything seemingly blinding in a flash as they vanished as the song had passed quite a few lines while this telepathic image had been going on as she took a soft breath “It's okay, It's Alright. It doesn't matter what they have to say.” Her face slowly turning back as it showed these strong emotions going through her, it showed her undying willpower standing before you as she was trying to catch you before you fell truly into that deep abyss, reaching out her hand in a metaphorical sense to rescue you. “You won't face it all alone, I will cry with you.” Suddenly stopping her song as she simply stood before you, hoping that you would accept this stranger who was so willing to risk her life for you while still doing this much with that spot of red on the bandages becoming visible. “I just don't want to see somebody who has shown me respect in a battle this early on to die while I look away... Okay?”

Song and dance are a powerful thing sometimes. While they may sometimes seem out of place, other times they can turn the tide of a battle making even the most bloodthirsty warriors bow their heads in shame. That is exactly how he took it. His mind snapped back into place before the darkness completely shrouded him and, much like his rage, the energy flickered and died.
He felt that emotion change. He didn’t feel anger anymore. It was so far gone it was like it never really appeared. He knew there was another way. That’s what his mom tried so hard to instill in him. There was always an alternative.
He shuddered to think what would have happened if Hana hadn’t thrown herself in harm’s way. How many innocent people would have died for his revenge? His hands and arms lost strength. His legs gave out and he collapsed on the ground. He curled up in a ball as pain speared his chest.
”Mom…I get it now…”
This wasn’t the way things were meant to be. She had fought so hard to show him kindness so he could pass it along. He didn’t move from this position. He felt his heart twitching in his chest. The pain was so much deeper than anything physical could ever inflict, but his mind was calm again.
(O.o I think you literally turned him away from his corruption. Lol.)
