“Whoooooooohh…” The calm breath escaped Gnash’s body through green lips. His eyelids slid down, closing his green soul orbs off from the rest of the world. He clenched his burly arms into fists, sliding his boots along the slick sand as he widened his stance. His antennas softly grazed his wide forehead, being jostled around from the occasional gust of wind that rolled along the Western Frontier. “One more go.. Whooooohhh.. Let’s do this.” The Namekian readied himself, allowing graceful breaths to enter and release from his chest. He turned his forearms over, the thumbs of his fists facing upwards towards the sky.
Having discarded his over-coat and cloak moment before engaging in this training session, Gnash had free reign of his body. Normally, he’d keep his clothes on, especially when training. This was a different case; He was practicing his Great Namek form, a power-up naturally available to Warrior-Caste Namekians. Over the past year or so, he had begun slacking in the training department, instead focusing more on developing his knowledge on the heritage of his people; The Namekians. Due to the lack of training, he soon found that he was unable to regulate the size of his Great Namek form, normally transforming into the giant-version.
Over the past few weeks, he’d taken up training once more. The galaxy, and Earth in general, was a dangerous place. Not being able to defend yourself properly could very well end in your death, if you’re not careful. Especially when it came to his culture and heritage; He was a Warrior-caste Namekian. He not only needed to be skilled in order to defend himself, but to uphold the legacy of his caste.
“Haaahhhhh…. Aaaaghhhhh! Hyaaauauugh!”
The soil around his feet began rumbling in a five-foot radius. Grains of sand and small pebbles defied gravity, spiralling around his hulking frame. Veins sprout against his luscious skin, threatening to erupt at any given moment. A lime-green aura engulfed the Namekians body, outlining his bulking stature. His skin expanded, limbs extending in length. His body had begun to grow larger and larger, reaching ten feet.. Eleven feet.. Twelve feet.. Thirteen feet, with no signs of stopping there.
“No.. Damnit! Gnnghh… Halt.. The growth, raise.. the power. Halt the growth.. Raise the power. Halt the growth.. Raise the power!”
Fortunately, his father was a very spiritual person. His people are very philosophical in general, most of which prefer to meditate. His father was one of those collected into the ‘most’. During much of his younger years on earth, to help with the flow of his ki and act as an overall stress reliever, Nasser had forced Gnash to meditate daily, sometimes for hours and hours on end. While at the time the naive and arrogant young greeny wasn’t fond of sitting peacefully and quietly for long periods of time, it came in handy. Moments like this, when he was alone and training, frustrated that he wasn’t getting anywhere in terms of achieving his goals. He’d have to thank his pops for this later on.
His body started to shrink back down, gradually reverting to it’s normal size. The green aura dissolved into thin air around his body, veins settling back underneath his skin. He held both of his hands out in front of his face, continuously opening and closing his palms. He allowed a despondent sigh to flow through his green petals like an elegant river.
“I’m getting there… Albeit at a turtle-like pace.. But I’m getting there. Though, I doubt the Z-Fighters will accept someone who can’t even control their own transformation.. I knew I shouldn’t have halted my training. -- ..I guess I could at least give it a shot. The worst they could say is ‘no’.”
With that in mind, Gnash retrieved his cloak and over-shirt, sliding them over his shoulders. He swiftly re-wrapped his hands and forearms in the pure-white cloth. He immediately surrounded his body in a blanket of similarly colored ki, launching himself into the air.
As he soared through the crisp western air, his emerald hues were quickly transfixed upon the mountains to his right. He stopped himself in mid-air, hovering in the same spot. Ears twitching at the amount of power resonating from between the two rocky formations below, he couldn’t help but feel like something was wrong with that ki signature. Not like he could accurately tell if someone was inherently “good” or “evil” just by sensing their ki, but something didn’t sit straight with this mass. His assumption was brought to the forefront when the area between the two mountains erupted into a massive explosion, more than likely leveling whatever could have been in there.
“Woah.. That does not seem good. Why is someone blowing up the earth? I suppose someone could be training just as I.. Someone could be lost, trying to signal for help. There are endless possibilities.. I guess it’s a positive note that I am not on a schedule.”

(Thread PL: 52.113 | Heavy Weights On | PL: 13.028 )
Cornatto was walking through the desert, he tried to follow the pathway but he wasn’t really looking for anything that day, he just wanted to go through a training session like any other. He had not been there after his spar with the Saiyan Hybrid, while he had no reason to, he simply had somewhere else to be.
The Saiyan happened to find himself to Gnash’s side of the desert, but he had no idea there was someone else in the surroundings, he stopped there for a moment and crossed his arms.
“Hm.. What should I begin with now?” - he wondered. He thought he could probably go for his usual routine or intensify his regimen for the day or he could try to come up with something different.
Though, he glanced upwards and took note of a green man passing by; Gnash. The Saiyan tilted his head and raised an eyebrow, he decided to take off and follow him but before he could even introduce himself, he saw an explosion in the distance. “What?.. What was that just now?” - he muttered. The Saiyan couldn’t tell what that was about but it didn’t seem like anything good, he closed his eyes for a brief moment and tried to pick up on the nearby energies.
He could sense the Namekian’s, he didn’t seem to be that strong but he was above the average. While he couldn’t tell much about the one coming from the mountains, there was a good chance that he was not that powerful.
He approached the Namekian, looking at him curiously. “Hey, are you going to check it out with me or?” - he asked. He tried to seem friendly, even if the two didn't really know each other.

“Ok Gnash, let’s get a move-” The Namekians thoughts were skewered by a foreign voice piercing his eardrums. His head pivoted on a swivel, emerald globes catching sight of the being beside him; A black, spiky-haired human. Or at least that’s what he looked to be. Didn’t Saiyans have tails..? Maybe his was tucked into the him of his pants or something. He was clad in a light blue gi-top, secured around his waist by a white sash. Wrapped around his bottom were pants, molded into a different shade of blue than his top. He reached out to Gnash with an affable tone, questioning him about whether or not he was to go down to the commotion with him or not.
This was a fairly refreshing occurrence. Most people he met either didn’t want to talk with him, or shied away due to his appearance. It was still a rarity for someone to outright approach him, let alone look in his direction. Speaking of approaching him.. How did this guy do so without Gnash even sensing his presence? “Was he using some sort of technique to diminish his power..? No, I can feel it now. It’s powerful.. So much more powerful than mine. This individual is miles out of my league..”
Allowing an internal sigh to clear his mind, he nodded his head towards the man. “He does not appear to be hostile towards me.. I sincerely hope it stays that way. Should he decide to turn on me, I do not think I would stand the slightest chance.” He watched the man with a vigilant eye, offering his arm down to the rocky battleground. He projected his voice calmly, yet a hint of anxiousness slithered through his words; “Y-yes. I will accompany you.”
Gnash lowered himself towards the site of destruction, softly resting his feet against the charred soil. It was a small valley located between several craggy mountains. Most of what lied within was demolished; Trees, rocks. Strewn across the ground were charred bodies and small, squared stone foundations indicating that a small settlement had previously resided here.
Gnash’s eyes nearly bulged in shock as they scanned over the smoldering remains of what looked to be people. He brought his right hand to his nose, taking his index finger and thumb to promptly pinch his nostrils shut. The overwhelming stench resonating from the corpses and ashses seared his smelling caves. It was like the scent that filled the air when you burnt food; Absolutely awful.
“If I had known that these were the types of activities being carried out down here, I would have intervened sooner..”
“Seeeseseseseseeh!”
A basket-balled sized sphere of purple energy whisped through the air, smashing apart the ground in between both Gnash and Cornatto. With one swift press, Gnash jumped into the air, narrowly avoiding the blast. His hues darted around the smoke, looking for signs of both the being that had attacked them, and Cornatto himself. Surely he made it out alive, right?
“Seeeehsehsehseseseseesseeh! Get the fuck outta’ my way!”

The Saiyan looked at the Namekian curiously, the latter one seemed anxious or even surprised to see him. He couldn’t tell if he was afraid of Saiyans or something like that, but he didn’t think they had the slightest second to converse and introduce themselves. There had been an explosion and they couldn’t just let whoever did it run away.
“Let’s go then!” - he said, flying towards the mountains. He couldn’t tell what had caused such but it could have also been a normal person; not all explosions were caused by Ki after all.
As soon as they arrived, he decided to descend immediately and land on the ground. It wasn’t that good of a sight but the two couldn’t do much for that matter, but they could still take it up with the one who had caused such disgrace.
Cornatto widened his eyes as soon as heard a noise coming from not afar, and more was to follow; a Ki blast. His confused expression was replaced by a serious one, he was quick enough to jump out of the way and land next to the Namekian.
“Outta’ your way, you say?! You better show yourself and face us right now!” - he exclaimed, assuming his fighting stance.

Gnash’s green orbs dart around the large cloud of smoke that kicked up from the radiant blast, scanning for any sign of the man who had been standing next to him. In a state of panic, he had completely, yet unknowingly discarded his ki-sensing abilities. His mind was too focused on the fact that the human partnered up with him could very well be mince meat. Sure, he was powerful, but even getting caught off guard could turn out to be futile for the strongest of warriors. Fortunately, the Namekians panic was graced with a sigh of relief as the black-haired individual emerged from the smoke, landing right down beside him.
“ I am relieved that you are unharmed, sir…” Gnash’s eyes followed the sound of the voice, reverting his face back to an expression that warranted ‘serious business’. He gazed from rock to rock, scouring the landscape for any sign of where the voice had originated from. Whoever this person was, he or she was surprisingly good at hiding their power level, even to the point of not being able to be detected at all. That was virtually unheard of in Gnash’s realm; Someone who could fully hide their power? How much skill did someone require to be able to do that? Could it be that his power-level was non-existent altogether? Or was he masking it to seem as if he were some normal animal?
Before the green warrior could take anymore steps towards finding this being, a frantic laughter pierced his eardrums once more. All he had to do was blink in order for the goon to appear in front of both of them, planting his hooves firmly onto the charred soil. A twisted smile strewn across his face, only hinting at the jagged lemon daggers that lie behind. Two brown horns spiralled into the air on either side of his cranium, coupled by two rocky stubs located upon his shoulders. A grey tail, in tune with the rest of his skin color, lapped at the ground behind him. His yellow slits were heavily transfixed upon the two defenders before him.
“I’m right here, I’m right here! Do ya’ see? I hope you enjoyed my welcoming gift..! Seesehseh, hehah! I crafted it especially for you twwooo!”
It was blatantly obvious that whatever this thing was, it wasn’t human. And he had a few screws loose upstairs. The way his head lolled to the side as he spoke, the way his tail nonchalantly flickered around, skewering the crisp corpse near his feet. The fashion in which saliva cascaded from between his lips at the mention of his ‘welcoming gift’. It was safe to say that this thing was fucking insane. In no right mind would he be considered.. Normal. What made things even worse was the fact that his power level sky-rocketed, Gnash only having noticed just now.
“Which one wants to play first? C’mon! I’ll go easy on ya!”
Gnash glanced over at Cornatto, his eyes looking the man up and down. Surely he could handle this freak by himself, but there was something else on the line here. Gnash wasn’t necessarily a competitive person, no. He was far from it. But just like any other warrior in the face of another, or just another warrior in general, Gnash wanted to test his limits. What better way to do so than in a real combat experience?
“Please, do not burden yourself with him! I will fight him. I have to show the fruits of my training, afterall..” Gnash’s beefy hands grabbed at his cloak, lifting both the white cloth and his over-shirt above his head. Underneath was a sturdy, yet flexible black battle vest, fitting to the man’s liking. This allowed him to move more freely during training or during a battle, unlike with the cape which had always seemed to get in the way.
“You can do this, Gnash. You can do this. Kick his ass, and prove your training wasn’t for nothing!”
Preparing himself with the mental pep-talk, Gnash pressed his boots against the ground. He propelled himself forth, rearing his right arm back with his hand fastened into a beefy fist. Almost as soon as he reached the being, he was met with a strike buried deep into the bowels of his abdomen. It felt as if the fist has sunk into so far that it moved his organs aside, making room for the monstrous strike. A concoction of saliva and purple blood exploded from between the Namekians lips, splattering across the demon’s gnarled face.
The Namekians hulking body was launched across the landscape, slamming into a large rock formation about forty or fifty feet behind Cornatto. His impact was enough to completely shatter the formation’s foundation, causing it to come crumbling down upon his beaten body.[Suppressed PL: 10,200]

Cornatto offered a nod to the Namekian, his apparent care was appreciated but not really necessary. The Saiyan was not used to that kind of things and, most especially he was not used to being called sir. “It takes more than that to harm someone like me. And.. just call me Cornatto.” - he told him.
The Saiyan shifted his gaze towards the newcomer; the one who had caused all of that. It didn’t look like anything he had ever seen but he was not a friendly one at all and that was for sure. His first thought was that he was all but an ordinary warrior, but his thoughts suddenly dropped as soon as he could sense his power.
He let out a sigh and shook his head in disappointment, he had expected the demon to be much stronger than that but apparently that was all he could do, unless he was still suppressing his power level but that was unlikely.
He looked at the green man once more, while he didn’t like sharing a fight, he thought it would have been much more of a challenge to the Namekian than it could have ever been to the Saiyan.
“Well, go for it then. I’m curious to see how strong you are.. uh, whoever you are.” - he told him, crossing his arms as he prepared himself to watch the fight. Watching a fight could be fun, more than one would expect. The Saiyan loved to fight, that was a fact but what he loved more than a fight was a real challenge and he knew the Demon could be all but a real challenge to the Saiyan.
“Hopefully the green man can deal with him. But I can beat him down myself just in case, we can’t really let this guy be without a lesson or two.” - he thought to himself.
Cornatto widened his eyes, he didn’t expect the fight to end that quickly, the Namekian was definitely strong but apparently not enough, and the Saiyan should have noticed that.
The Saiyan decided to deal with the Demon by himself and jumped forward, landing right in front of him. Then he would attempt to land a punch right in the stomach, as quick as he could, would it have been successful or not he wouldn’t have done anything else but speak.
“You can hide your power.. in doing so I am sure you can sense it as well or am I wrong? What you sense is barely a quarter of my real power which I can unleash if you will force me to.” - he said, looking at him with a serious expression on his face.
“But I am up for a fight if you still want one.” - he told him.

“Awwww!” The malicious being bounced up and down upon the dilapidated soil, his fists clenched together. His bottom lip jut out, giving him the impression of a pouting little child. His tail flickered aimlessly through the air, whipping against the ground every now and again. “The cucumber didn’t put up much of a fight! C’moooon.. I wanna fight! With someone strong. Not someone weak!” In the midst of his hissy-fit, the demon halted his movement. He turned on his hooves towards Cornatto, the end of his tail slithering to the forefront so that the tip was point directly at the Saiyan, his lips curling into the sadistic grin that had graced his features before. In a rather low and infernal tone, he called out.. “Will you play…?”
“Gngh… ouch.. That thing can really.. Pack a punch!” Gnash uttered under his breath, chest struggling to even heave from the displaced rocks crushing his frame. Only moments before had he been sent flying into this natural stone pillar, the force behind his impact causing it to shatter and rain hell down upon him. Purple blood contrasted against his clover-hued skin, staining against his black clothing. His white fangs grit together with the pain that followed his movements as he tried lifting himself from the rubble. “Damned… He really gave me a beating.. I didn’t expect just one punch to do this to me. Hell, I didn’t expect him to be this strong in the first place.. I have to get up. I have to make sure Cornatto will be OK... “
Gnash began pushing the rocks from their positions, lifting himself from his early grave. As soon as he was able to see the surrounding world once again as opposed to jagged masses covering his face, he surged a cloak of white ki around his body. He was preparing to launch off again, and give this demon another go. What his emerald hues soon fell upon urged him to lower his power, causing his lower jaw to hang open. There Cornatto was.. Face-to-face with the demon. He could feel the massive amount of ki resonating from within the Saiyan, his arms crossed along his vascular chest. He was so… Confident.
As soon as Cornatto landed upon the ground, he went on the offensive. One swift punch was all it took for the demon to find himself in a state of deja vu, his eyeballs bulging from their sockets. His gut nearly imploded with the amount of force behind the Saiyan’s punch. launching him backwards and out of the valley itself. He went on to explain how the amount of power both Gnash and the demon were sensing was only a small portion of his true potential. Should he be correct.. Well, that’d leave Gnash in luck. There was no way Gnash could measure up to the demon; Not even in his Great Namek form, which he has still yet to perfect. Sure, he’d come close.. But fall short, like always. If what Cornatto explained was true, then they could very easily win this battle.
It was difficult to fathom the true power that lie within his spiky-haired companion. Was he really suppressing his power that much? And if so, how? Gnash hung his head low, his luscious globes glaring at the pebbles below. Had he been living under a rock for the past year..? It shouldn’t have even come as much of a surprise to him as it had. He was on earth during the Saiyan invasion. The powers he sensed during those monstrous battles.. It was god-like compared to him. Curse him trying to study his heritage! He should’ve spent his time training. Because he let himself go, he found himself outclassed once again. What if Cornatto hadn’t been here? He’d be mince meat, no questions asked.
The sinister cackle snapped Gnash out of his self-loathing trance. The demon from before had “risen from the ashes” so to speak, floating high above the air. The Namekians eyes widened in fear, his elbows shaking in the struggle to keep his body lifted…
The Demon's body was covered in a crimson aura, streams of ki spiralling around his now bulked-up form. Veins popped against his red-tinted skin, pulsating from the amount of energy being released from his body. The color of his eyes had morphed into a more purple-ish hue, while the pupils brightened to a shade of grey-white.
“N-now.. Now now, now we can play!?”

The Saiyan stared at the Demon blankly, his punch didn’t seem enough to knock him down, just like he had expected. He was not using his full power and they were almost equal at that point. He couldn’t tell if the Demon was suppressing his power, he was still wary of his opponent even if he seemed confident.
Cornatto was sure it could have ended in a moment but apparently the Demon was not willing to give up that easily, which had caught the Saiyan’s interest, for one to keep up even if he was aware of the opponent’s strength.. either he was brave or he was stronger than what he looked like.
The Saiyan glanced upwards and watched the unknown Demon powering up. He had set his eyes on him, he could sense his power increasing to the point where the two were technically equal. Cornatto was surprised, while one would expect him to be shocked, he was actually excited to fight someone around his level.
"This might be interesting after all." - he thought to himself.
He shifted his gaze at the Namekian for a brief moment, his reaction was the exact opposite of the Saiyan’s. But he couldn’t blame him, he could understand that he probably found himself out of the Demon’s league. “Hey! Not to worry, I’ll take care of him!” - he told him before he rose from the ground and reached the Demon.
The Saiyan took off his wristbands and boots, both of them falling down on the ground with huge force; he had taken off his heavy weights. His power could be sensed and it had skyrocketed!
Cornatto clenched his fists tightly and assumed his fighting stance, extending forward his dominant side. “Your move.” - he told him.

The Namekian closed his fists, charred soil oozing between his beefy three-fingered hands. His eyes stared dangerously at the ground, teeth grinding together with pure frustration. He couldn’t believe how badly he had let himself go. Even with his Great Namek form activated, granted he could even use it properly, which he couldn’t.. He’d be completely useless in this battle. Both of them surpassed his power threshold and dominated it with an iron fist. He was thrown out of the game with one simple punch.. How pathetic was that?
“This is absolutely pathetic.. Why did I let myself get to this po-” Gnash’s mental downpour was suspended by Cornatto’s words echoing through his sensitive ears. His neck churned on a swivel, raising up so that the emerald hues locked firmly onto the Saiyan. “Hey! Not to worry, I’ll take care of him!” Gnash had to keep his draw from dropping once again, remembering that his father had once told him that if he continued to do so in rapid succession, a bug would fly in there. Yuck!
Those words.. That smile. Those two things, coupled with the fact that Cornatto himself was actually pretty strong, instilled a small ray of hope upon his gloomy heart. With a hearty grin, Gnash pushed himself to his feet, brushing the dirt from his battling attire. he placed his arms along his muscular chest, deciding it best to hang back while Cornatto handled this battle. He was out-matched, sure.. But he’d stay and assist where he could. There was no one-hundred percent guarantee that the Saiyan would win this battle. If that turned out to be the case, he’d have to help Cornatto or fight this thing with all of the strength that he had left in order to make sure he didn’t go off on another killing spree.
“I’ll hang out back here for the time being, if you don’t mind!”
Both Gnash and the Demon itself were astonished when Cornatto had removed his wristbands and boots, the said garments smashing apart the ground below them. Almost immediately after losing the hindrances, the spiky-haired Saiyan assumed a fighting stance, his power level catapulted high above a level that Gnash previously stamped upon him, rivaling even that of the Demon.
“Just as I thought… He’s a lot stronger than he had led me on to believe! Cornatto may just have a chance here, even without my help!”
“Ooooooooooo! Does this mean that you are a lot stronger now?! Can you play with me? I wanna play with YOU! The cucumber was too weak.. You will be my toy now, right?!”
The Demons gritted his fangs together, nails piercing into his palms. Veins soon found their way to the surface of his skin along the undersides of his forearm and cranium, giving a sign to the annoyance he underwent at Cornatto’s confidence. His entire goal was to make these two feel like they couldn’t do a thing in the world to stop them, to make them think they were far too weak. Obviously this tactic wasn’t working on the poised Saiyan who stood before him, ready for a battle.
“Let’s play!” The hellish crimson aura surged around his bulking body, small specks of black and yellow gracing the area around his body. His eyes were focused on Cornatto and Cornatto alone at this point. Using a technique reminiscent of the high-speed movement flickers, he appeared right in front of Cornatto, hunching over at the waist as his right fist rocket forward like a piston, aimed for the Saiyan’s abdomen. His tail swayed side-to-side behind him, remaining vigilant for any sort of counter attack.

The Saiyan didn’t do much but stand there in mid-air as he waited for the Demon to attack, even if the fight could have been exciting, he was not really fond of the guy. But isn’t that what he was looking for? For a fight?
“This guy.. he’s getting on my nerves..” - he muttered. He didn’t really like the Demon’s attitude, it felt as if he was teasing him or even worse; making fun of him. He clenched his fist tightly, his eyes set on the Demon. “I won’t play with anyone and I am nobody’s toy. I’ll bring you to your knees and then we’ll see if you’ll keep up your evil ways.” - he told him, with a confident tone of voice.
The Saiyan frowned as soon as the Demon disappeared, he could tell that he was about to hit him but he didn’t plan to block him in the beginning, but even if he would have wanted to, it wouldn’t have been simple. The Demon was not that bad but Cornatto was confident of his strength.
In doing so, the Demon hit the Saiyan successfully and the latter one let out a grunt, his expression was sore, he tensed his muscles and at first, he didn’t seem to have any real reaction or counterattack but then he would have tried to take a firm grasp of the Demon's arm. Shortly after, he would have tried to pull the Demon towards himself, though the Saiyan would have moved to the side and tried to grab the Demon’s tail. If he would have been successful, he would have tried to spin him around for a brief moment and then let him go, in the attempt to smash the Demon against the ground.

“Seeesheseseseseee! How was that?! Did you like that, little toy?!” The demon mocked, his fist burrowed deep into the bowels of Cornatto’s abdomen. His yellow hues traced along the Saiyan’s muscular torso, locking onto his eyes with a devilish grin spreading across his lips. The arrogant expression soon faded away, combing over with a dumbfounded look. The smirk fell from his mouth, pupils shaking in slight panic as he witnessed Cornatto’s stern gaze. Instead, he firmly grasped the Demon’s arm and tail in one swift motion, swinging him around in large circular motions before launching him into the ground below.
Gnash’s eyes narrowed onto the cloud of smoke that quickly enveloped the tiny arena, immediately searching for any signs of the Demon’s conscience. Of course, it was still there. There was no way the two could get off so easily and completely demolish this hellish being. No, life wouldn’t hand them the victory. While Corn’s counterattack wasn’t quite enough to do the demon away, Gnash will give him credit on the fact that he was able to tank his punch. That was impressive. “You’re much more skilled than I had originally thought, Corn-san! But please be wary.. He isn’t defeated yet!”
“That hurt a little, y’know?! You make me hurt.. I-.. I make YOU hurt even more!” Through the cloud of dust, a barrage of small pink energy-spheres spiraled towards Cornatto. It didn’t necessarily seem as if they were aimed directly for him, but rather around his body in general. Within seconds of the blasts being released, the demon would use his flicker technique once more and appear behind Cornatto, reaching his clawed-limbs out to latch onto the Saiyan’s forearms and pull them back without mercy. If successful, he’d drive his knee into the mid of Cornatto’s back, looking to wrench on his arms at the same time to inflict the most damage. “Enjoy this, please?!”
On the ground below lie Gnash, arms crossed along his chest as his yellow orb tried their best at following the high-speed action. The two of them were absolute monsters. Their speed was superhuman; Otherworldly, even. This only further helped to cement the fact that they far exceeded Gnash’s league. They were miles and miles apart, so much so that Gnash probably wouldn’t be able to see the other side had this been put into the perspective of a canyon or ocean. It was complex, yet so simple at the same time. If he ever wished to reach their level of power.. Their bracket of skill, he’d have to work even harder. Granted both of them won this battle and walked away alive.
“C’mon Corn-san, win this for us!”

The Saiyan frowned, looking down as he looked for the Demon. He couldn’t tell if that attack was worth anything and if it had even left a scratch on him, the two were equal and he could imagine none of that was nearly enough to defeat him.
“..Is this guy even taking this seriously? He doesn’t even speak right.” - he thought to himself. He was quite annoyed by how the Demon spoke, no matter how many times he would have tried to ignore that, he just couldn’t get over it.
The Saiyan widened his eyes, raising both arms as he guarded himself against the attack. Though he had noticed that something was wrong; it didn’t feel like the Demon was actually trying to hit him and in fact, he realized what he was trying to do.. after the Demon had already hit him in the back with his knee.
Cornatto grimaced, letting out a faint and suffocated scream. It was painful, but such drove the Saiyan to react quickly. He focused a very small part of his energy into his hands and let it all out in a weak but effective wave of energy, in the attempt to free himself from the grip.
Then he’d make use of the sudden increase of speed given by the technique to set a certain distance between the two, flying towards Gnash. He decided to land next to him, a sore expression could be seen on his face, it was definitely a smart move to hit him there but he was not done yet. He had an idea to end things quickly, but he needed time and.. help.
He didn’t know how to feel about asking for help but he needed it if they were to make sure for the Demon to not continue his killing spree.
“Hey.. I can beat him in a single move. But, I need some minutes.” - he paused for a moment, shifting his gaze at the demon. “I don’t know how much you can keep up against him but I need you to take it up against him, it won’t be for long.” - he told him, trying to speak with a low tone of voice to not let the demon hear the conversation.

The grin spread across the demon’s lips only grew in size as the point of his knee connected with Corn’s back. Driving it in like a hammer to a nail, the demon wrenched back on his arms, his sadistic goal obvious by the murderous intent upon his expression. He wanted to snap Cornatto in half. He wanted to rip his arms off. He wanted to break his back. All of these activities were things he did on a daily basis as hobbies. Just killing, breaking, destroying. Massacres. He never really had a reason for doing it all, only partaking in such activities for the thrill. To him, Corn was just another toy that he’d soon grow tired off after he lie in a limp pile of broken bones and a pool of blood on the ground.
On the ground below, Gnash kept his eye on the fight. As soon as the demon took control, he wanted to jump straight to Corn’s side and help him out. But he couldn’t… He wasn’t strong enough to take this thing on. Even if he did try, they were facing him. The demon would surely notice him trying to intervene, and swat him away like a fly once more. He just had to put his trust in Corn, there wasn’t any other choice. If the Saiyan was as skilled and powerful as he had made himself out to be, he’d find a way out… Right?
Right! Mustering up a small amount of energy, Corn had managed to blast the Demon right across the face with an energy wave, forcing him to be released. In a swift motion, Cornatto pushed off of the demon’s body and floated down towards Gnash himself. Meanwhile in the air, the demon feveriously ran his beefy hand along the steaming flesh that peeled from his face. “Y-you.. Y-you fuc-... You hurt me..! You hurt me, you hurt me, you hurt ME! You hurt me bad..! I.. I-..!” He ran his claws along the surface of his cheeks, yellow eyes nearly rolling back in their sockets. His mind was blown by the fact that he could even be injured. Sure, the throw to the ground hurt a little bit.. But not this much. He’d never been outright blasted in the face.
Gnash tilted his head towards Corn who had informed him that he needed just a few minutes to summon enough energy for an attack that should win them the fight. At first, the idea sounded fucking crazy.. Surely he saw how easily Gnash was dispatched earlier? Why would he even offer to give him the chance to fight now? Did he have that much trust in Gnash?
“I-.. I’m not su-..” Gnash cut himself off, gripping his fists tightly within the palms of his hands. Why was he being so negative? Why was he being so selfish? There are innocent lives at stake here. Sure, if Gnash and Corn couldn’t beat him, some other hero would come along and demolish him. But how many innocent people could this demon kill between now and then? If he didn’t step up the the plate right now, other people could die. This was, afterall, his home. A home he must protect.
“You’ve got a few minutes.”
Stepping forward, Gnash’s aura morphed from a pale white to a lavender, his yellow hues set themselves upon his new enemy; The demon who one-shot him earlier. He spread his feet apart, bringing his arms up to his sides. “Wooohhhhhhhheehh… Halt the growth, raise the power. Halt the growth.. And raise the power… Hooowwaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhggghhhh!”
Gnash’s body soon became engulfed in a blazing magenta-coloured cloak of aura. His muscles buldged against the surface of his skin, his frame growing from the solid 7’2” to 8’3”. The sand and charred soil around his feet swirled around his body in a tornado like fashion, soon being whisped away like the rest of the earthly substances. He grit his teeth together, finally standing up straight, squaring his shoulders out. He locked his eyes onto the Demon’s, stepping out in front of Cornatto. He stood before the Saiyan in his Great Namek form, a look of determination plastered upon his green, scarred face. Of course he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to do a lick of damage to the demon.. But he could damn well try.
“Let’s go.”

The Saiyan offered a reassuring smile to the Namekian, nodding. He couldn’t tell if those few minutes would have been nearly enough, but that’s what he had estimated. He also had to take in consideration how much Gnash could last against such an opponent, the two were definitely on different leagues but he was entirely sure that he could catch his attention for a little bit.
Cornatto set his eyes on the Namekian, looking at him curiously as he seemed to be in some kind of powering up process, he couldn’t tell what he was doing but it was definitely working! He widened his eyes as soon as he noticed the length difference and his power increasing. He was told something about the Namekians when he was a kid; where they came from and stuff like that but he had no idea they could increase their power in that way. "T-that's incredible.. it's actually like a Saiyan going Oozaru! Well, in his case.. he doesn't really grow that much and he has less fur, and he is also less powerful but it's still a nice ace!" - he thought to himself.
“That’s great man! Keep it up and I am sure I’ll have enough time to prepare myself. If I can give you a suggestion.. try to go for his tail or horns. I fear that’ll anger him but it’s your best chance.” - he told him.
He took a few steps backwards and closed his eyes, before he could charge his attack, he thought that he should have tried to stabilize his focus so that he could make use of as much energy as possible. It was quite an interesting experience trying to isolate themselves from reality for just a few moments in order to let one's energy unleash all at once, while nothing could be seen outwards, his power was not growing that much but his spirit was burning and flowing through his entire body.
KP [3/3] +1 Cornatto is taking a moment to let all his energies replenish before he begins to charge his attack!

“Right.. I can stall him for a few minutes. I know that much.” The Namekian spoke out to Cornatto, looking to take the advice given to him about targeting the tail or horns. It was a viable strategy. Obviously it would piss the demon off, just as it had done earlier when Corn touched his tail.. but it was worth a shot. If it meant buying Cornatto the precious time he needed in order to prepare an attack that would help them win this battle, then it was worth it. It was worth every ounce of pain that was to come his way during this scuffle.
“I just don’t know if I’ll make it out alive..” Taking several steps forward, Gnash clenched his fists together. His power didn’t rise nearly enough to take the demon on, and the Great Namek form only helped to make him a larger target. All of the odds were against him. Every single sign pointed to him getting pulverized within seconds, but that’s what defined a hero, right? A person who stands up in the face of overwhelming chaos when no one else would. Not that he wanted to be a hero, he just wanted to be remembered in a positive way. What better way to be remembered than by saving some people from a blood-lusted devil?
“Heeeeyyyaaaaaaghhh!” With an undaunted yell, Gnash launched himself forward, cranking his right arm back. As soon as he got within range of the demon, he rocketed his fist forward, his knuckles connecting with the bridge of the demon’s nose. The demon hadn’t moved a centimeter from the resounding impact. Instead, his feet were still planted firmly to the earth, his lips curling up into that sinister grin. His face had been completely unaffected by Gnash’s strike.
“I guess I should have guessed it wouldn’t hurt you.. Doooffghh!” The Namek’s grunt of despair was met with a well-placed knee that slammed into his abs, lifting his feet off of the ground. His eyes bugged out, hands immediately clasping over his bruised abdomen. Saliva spewed from his lips, splattering across the demon’s chest. “Gwuhghh… Gaaaghh..” With a mighty flick of his tail, Gnash soon found himself flying across the valley and crashing into another jagged hillside.
“The cucumber doesn’t give up! It’s kind of fun. Buuuuutttt…” In the blink of an eye, his attention was turned towards the charging Cornatto. He turned on his heels, now facing the Saiyan who had previously given him a run for his money. He had absolutely no interest in Gnash anymore, only having eyes for Cornatto. The red energy soothed itself, flowing around his vascular frame like rivers of blood. “Can WE continue?”
