The ship descended through the atmosphere, towards Kabocha's main spaceport. It was… enormous. It dwarfed the other ships in dock, a shadow that fell across the entirety of the port. The sheer scale of it was terrifying, let alone the grandeur of the vessel.
The front of it was emblazoned with a stylized eagle in burnished gold, the wings swept back across the spear-like front of the prow. Powerful energy shields crackled and flared to keep the danger of atmospheric reentry away from all the delicate decoration; the stained glass windows that decorated the bridge, and the delicate crenellations that studded the vessel's main section. With the purple paintwork and the golden detailing, it looked at least as much like some great flying cathedral as it did a spaceship.
And yet, at the same time, it was bristling with menace. Enormous cannons were affixed to the bottom of the vessel and the top, the sides punctuated at regular intervals with more weapons. The only thing it wasn't, clearly, was very speedy in an atmosphere. The sheer scale of it necessitated a fairly ponderous landing, as it slowly descended from the sky to slam itself heavily into the spaceport's largest docking section.
"Well, here she is, Sanngrior. Your ship, as promised."
Jerrah looked for a moment like he wanted to clap the younger woman on the shoulder, but she didn't even have to say or do anything for him to think better of it. Her hood was blowing around at the front thanks to the amount of wind kicked up by the vessel's landing, and she merely raised her hand up to grasp it between her fingers, ensuring that it didn't get blown completely off.
"It is very impressive." Sanngrior croaked. "Would you care to show me around?"
Just as the pair began to walk up the lowered gangplank, a pair of spaceport officials ran towards them.
"H-Hey! Hey! We didn't receive landing papers for this vessel! You're going to have to..."
As Sanngrior turned towards them, her halo glimmering menacingly in the early morning sun, they seemed to think better of continuing their running advance. Hesitating, at first, slowing to a stop...
