What's the similarity between all these techniques (and the many many more that are out there?)
They're all martial arts / maneuver / combat moves that are real legitimate techniques, but aren't worthy of an N1 slot.
Here's where [N0]'s come in.
An N0 is a weaker technique, like a specific combat maneuver or a signature kick that aren't necessarily N1 worthy but are still considered a fighting technique.
Thus they'd be used in "hand to hand" combat as a signature sort of "martial artsy" technique before KP is brought in.
Additionally, they provide tangible benefits over people who are outside of the 85/60 rule, allowing you a mechanic way to fairly dodge an attack below 15% of your power level.
Someone outclassing you within the 85/60 rule would be able to safely parry the N0 without using their own: this idea is not intended to eliminate flavor fighting, simply to provide you with cool moves when flavor fighting that doesn't cost you an N1 slot or bring KP into the picture.
Last but not least, this is advantageous to weapon users who want to give their weapons mechanical strength but dont want to waste an N1 on a simple sword slice.

- An N0 is a one purchase deal: You can't upgrade it.
- An N0 can't be charged, it works with a flat 15% of your power level.
- While an N0 does not cost KP, it counts as a technique. This follows standard technique rules: You cannot use two techniques per post.
- A single technique slot buys you two N0's. You cannot buy them one at a time.
Thus they'd be used in "hand to hand" combat as a signature sort of "martial artsy" technique before KP is brought in.
