Post by Zucceta on Nov 17, 2015 3:56:38 GMT
It had been several weeks since Zucceta had returned to Vegeta. Her arrival hadn't been loud, without fanfare. She had needed the time to rest, to heal. Word had spread throughout the city of the queen's return, and the Imperator was docked at the bay, refurbished and cleaned post-loss, but none had seen her in person. Many whispered she had died that fateful day, and the propaganda that she would rise again from the ashes was just that, propaganda. Perhaps the queen was dead, and perhaps she would never smite those who had betrayed her on Earth and cost her that victory.
The rumors of her demise had been greatly exaggerated, of course, but she wasn't sure she had any desire to pursue that traitorous moron. She wasn't sure what she desired any more. Something more than what the world had dealt her, that was certain, but obtained in a way other than... the only way she knew how? This world had made her talented at violence, and she knew few other discourses.
Time would give her answers, she hoped.
The media, under the control of her government, had spun the loss in the most favourable way possible. The battle on Earth had been going promisingly until the moment of Natto's desertion, and with his squad's failure the other two forward squads had been routed and repelled. With that in mind, the total number of "lost" troops had been surprisingly low, many Oozaru actually spared by the people of Earth and retrieved during retreat. In the light of that, the loss hadn't been totally unacceptable, and much of Earth still lied in ruins--particularly North Capitol, the most successful launch site and Zucceta's front. In light of that, the populace still held her in respect, but rumours had begun to spread, rumours of her weakness.
And rumours could grow.
So the weeks had passed, and she had finally rejuvenated from her injuries. She sat in her bedroom in the royal palace, the dull morning light passing through her window. She squints slightly, waking with a headache. She groans. Somebody in the beautiful room coughs, and she's suddenly aware of her medic, Ochus.
"You should be ready for the public now, your grace."
"Didn't anyone teach you to knock?" She moans, half-amused, a small smile playing at her lips. Ochus had been a great help to her these past few months, and for the first time she didn't take somebody's aid for granted.
Just one of the many changes occurring within the previous emblem of Death.
She rises, and it was true; her body felt reasonably fixed after the utter domination at the hands of Earth's forces once their backup had arrived. She still felt the lack of her tail, imagined the phantom limb wrapped around her waist; just another sacrifice to the god of war, she muses, or just another reminder that she had been doing something wrong this whole time.
And it was about time she realised, too.
She growls. She would have a lot to answer for at the gates, if there was an afterlife. Many events had made her believe there was, now. She had seen a soul in the body of a robot. She had seen someone who was dead, dead as a doornail, once more breath in the air of the universe; she had killed him again, ironicall, but she had known he died once before.
She rolls her head around and stares down at her naked, scarred body. Ochus stares at her, unblinkingly. "Would you fetch me my regal armour? With the cape?"
The Zoon-seijin sniffs. "I'm not your maid, ma'am." He grabs the attire anyway.
She had called a meeting at the city hall; journalists lined up in rows of seats, important members of the public at the back, with monitors showing her address outside. For the first time in over two months, the queen was ready to address the public.
She had chosen to leave her left arm at home. With only her right arm and a stump, she still looked fierce. The gesture was symbolic, but any trouble she might have at this meeting (which she anticipated) would have to be dealt with, with only one arm. She was ready.
Cameras flash and whir, broadcasting the stage through ScouterNet. The queen was backstage, looking at herself in the mirror. She wasn't sure she liked what she saw. She inhales deeply, then exhales. A knock on the door and its time for her to head to the meeting. It was time to face the world once again.

Word spread quickly! The guards and the servants let loose word into the public that the Queen had finally recovered from her wounds of battle and was getting ready to make a public appearance! It spread like a pheromones to the hungry wolves, and, without a doubt, it had spread to the Cherry Valley Loft. Customers had been making their way into the shabby parlor, to partake of some drinks that the strange 'Earthling' had at his disposal. With their inquisitive tastes, the Devil came across this information, and no quicker could smile reveal on his face! To the onlookers, they couldn't tell if he was internally screaming in fear or if he was excited about this news!
"Well now," the Devil thought, "This is a bit of a predicament... Or is it?"
Alaistair beckoned to the crowd of people to make their way out of his place of business, which the customers responded in sadness. He told them that he'd re-open shop when he returned from seeing this, and as reassurance, he offered a few bottles of cheap wine that the Vegetans weren't familiar with and handed out several dozen glasses. He offered them to make themselves comfy outside the Loft, suggesting that they bring chairs and tables for whatever merriment and business they have with one another. When the people left, as fast as lightning, changed into his black tuxedo, donning a black cloth shirt underneath with the chest exposed. His sword strapped to the belt holding his pants up, he made his way back outside, locking up shop as he made his way to the city ahll, where this was going down.
It took only a couple of minutes for the Devil to arrive at the gates, to see that there had been a crowd outside. He slithered his way through the crowd, reaching the front gates where several soldiers stood. Alaistair's last presence here wasn't far from memory, as the guards quickly halted him, with one telling him, "No further, offworlder!"
"Tut tut," Alaistair responded, "I'm not here to make an issue. I'm simply here to step into the journalist pit and listen to what the fair mistress has to-"
"That is Queen, red skin."
"Ah, yes, quite right. However, I feel as this is the breach in trust I had with your people," Alaistair hinted, raising up his hands in response, "Remember, I had organized your people to freely use my place of business. With the recent events, and not to mention your personal issues, it'll become quickly apparent you'll need a drink... If you let me in, I'll let you have a free battle for each of your mates with free usage of my newly installed rejuvenation chambers. It is really high grade, and with the drinks you can have afterwards..."
The guards looked at each for a non-verbal conversation on the offer with simple nods to each other. They moved out of Alaistair's way, as he uttered, "Pleasure doing business with you."
Alaistair quickly made his way through the gate, being escorted another group of guards to the journalist pit, conveniently being put near the front. He took a seat and sat with his legs cross over one another with hands folded into his lap. He would be situated closest to the wall, in the 2nd row to the Queen's left side for when she stepped up to the podium. As the devil waited, he sent out a telepathic message to Xylo, telling him, "Xylo, a new event has come up. Make your way to the city hall right now. I'm saving you a spot next to me as we speak, but be quick... The Queen's digging herself a grave."
(Just a quick clarification. The underlined quotes are telepathic messages and the italicized quotes are personal thoughts going on in Alaistair's head.)

Pin had been cleaning his armor when his old friend Granzel had burst into the cockpit of the Pixie Blue with the news. The Queen was alive, and she was about to address the public. Pin didn't waste any time - he crammed himself into his armor and put his helmet on, then tore ass out of his ship and made a beeline for the city hall. He wasn't sure what he was gonna do when he got there, but he wanted to be there for this.
Pin knew he wasn't a proper Saiyan, that he was just an android built to look like one. Regardless, deep down he still felt like a Saiyan. His "parents" had raised him as a Saiyan, with all the pride that came along with it. Sure, that hadn't turned out so hot, but as far as Pin was concerned, this was HIS Queen who was about to address the public, and he wanted to be there for it. He'd regretted not being able to join the Earth invasion force (Granzel had talked him out of it).
A crowd had already started to gather, and Pin was glad he hadn't taken any longer to actually arrive. The security was already doing their best to corral the rabble and the masses, so the odds that he'd be able to get any closer than this were pretty much nil. Still, he managed to push his way to the front of the crowd. He was no legendary Super Saiyan, but he could drop the average citizen relatively easily so forcing his way to a good view was relatively easy.
He was really glad he'd bought those propuslors. He might not have made it in time on foot.

[ Thread PL: 29,517 - NO HEAVY WEIGHTS ] Kizuki could have laughed when the news had broken: The Queen of Vegeta was returning home. Or rather, it appeared she had once her ship had cleared orbit and docked. Without much word of her status, the planet began to speak among themselves, wondering what had become of their ruler -- until this very day. She was set to speak on her mission to invade Earth, which meant she was alive. He wasn't sure what this would mean for Alaistair, or Xylo, or even himself at this point. He was given no further instructions, so the Saiyajin would flock to the main square in the capital, where others would gather that could quite not make it into the building itself to see the Queen's conference. Kizuki would settle among them, as always, garbed in that Saiyajin battle vest, gloves and boots. Brown tail wrapped tightly around his waist as he made his way over to a nearby pillar, using it to lean his back against as his eyes stayed glued to the large, holographic projector that showed any empty stage, awaiting for Zuccetta's arrival upon it. He'd tilt his head to the side a bit, that exaggerated set of black, spiked hair not moving as he did so, neither did the two "bangs" that hung down to about his eyebrows. He was curious, more than anything, about this Queen of Planet Vegeta, the Queen of the Saiyajin. He had pinned her as a bit of a selfish ruler, with Arcose and the extermination of the planet, though it seemed most of the planet was in favor of its destruction by Saiyajin hands. With Earth and her lust to invade it, the folly of not realizing the potential of Earth's inhabitants as a threat, and questioning her ability to lead with one, whom the reports referred to as Natto, turning against the SSE along with most of his Elite Task Force. Would she return humbled, or was the taste of blood still in her mouth? Did she want more? He barely had paid any attention to the crowd that formed, and what the wash women would say within their own groups. He was here, but she wasn't his Queen. This wasn't his planet. Whatever this woman came to say would be interesting regardless. Brushing off the imaginary dust from his chest plate, those muscled arms would cross against it. It was only a manner of moments now. Would she keep her Empire, or would they turn against her?
[ WC: 417 // Thread WC: 417 ] - Kizuki is watching from the square on a large projector. - Can also speak via telepathy to both Alaistair and Xylo.

[Thread PL: 65,161 | Heavy Weighted Clothes Equipped! Weighted PL: 16,290]
The seedy bar was abuzz with chatter as Xylo entered. Though the place wasn't as lively as the new hot-spot known as the Cherry Valley Loft, it was still a favorite spot for certain war veterans and less-than trustworthy businessmen. Xylo wasn't here to drink however, he had an informant to meet here, as this was their usual meet-up spot. The tall Namekian spotted his hooded informant quite quickly; sitting alone in the back, drinking a strange orange drinks as always. Xylo sat at the chair across from the man, speaking quietly to avoid unwanted attention. "What is it you needed, Rotim? If you hadn't noticed, the entire city is abuzz due to the Queen's return. I was on my way to the Cherry Valley to discuss this with Alaistair and Kizuki."
The Kabochan removed his hood, an orange-toothed smile on his face as he replied. "That's just it, Xylo! The Queen is having a public address at City Hall! I saw Alaistair making his way there when I called you." The Mazoku Warrior's ears twitched. A public address? How did he not hear about this before? He gave Rotim a curious look as he stood up from the table. "The Queen's making a public appearance, eh?... Thanks for the info, Rotim. Have a drink, on me." The Namekian tossed a couple of coins towards Rotim as he walked out, heading straight for the palace.
As he made his way for city hall, a mental message was sent his way; Alaistair being the obvious sender. "Already on my way. I should be there shortly." The Namekian picked up the pace, turning his brisk walk into a sprint.
Soon enough, he arrived at the entrance of city hall, where a whole crowd of people stood. He snaked his way through the crowd as best he could, eventually deciding to simply shove his way past and make it to the front gates. A guard stopped him in his tracks, placing a hand out as he spoke. "Halt! We aren't allowing just anyone inside--" Before he could continue, Xylo interrupted the man. "I have plenty reason to enter! I was a member of the Queen's War Party on Arcose!"
The guard hesitated for a moment, looking a bit unsure of himself. The Saiyan sighed, moving to the side to allow Xylo entry. "Very well then. Head on in..." Xylo walked past the Saiyan, entering into the main chamber, where yet another crowd awaited him. He slowly pushed his way through the few journalists who were standing, finding Alaistair quite quickly thanks to his Ki Sense.
He slid into the chair next to Alaistair, giving the demon a silent nod as they both awaited the Queen's reveal.

[Suppressed to 800 PL] Getting in at first was easy enough. He didn't need much convincing before the guards simply allowed him past. But he'd quickly hide himself away secretly once inside. He only needed a moment to uncapsule the drone. Energizing it to take the form of himself while he would be taking on a more special look for tonight. He needed to keep up appearances on two ends and see just how things one play out. While one made its way to the VIP's The other would be looking for her little green friend. The woman form often did work well in gathering information like with the arcosian.
Icarus made her way in quietly her scanners on the lookout for one in particular. Thanks to the added aid of her little injection there was nowhere on the planet the man could hide for long from her. As would be made clear when a few moments after making her way in she'd be quickly seated next to Xylo. Careful as to ensure it didn't attract any unwanted attention. To go a step further just encase the loyalists had watchful eyes. Xylo himself may have been confused also when the young woman sat next to him. "Talk in whispers...An Keep your eyes forward please. I've come to speak for one of our mutual friends." Icarus had taken the extra step to run a program to make the hair white instead of black. The eyes crimson as well. He'd pass for a Kagami. Hope full Xylo wouldn't see through the disguise. He'd have made the morph after entering so the guards wouldn't be weary either.
"Well... This certainly changes things. I'd give you the math but certain endeavors just went from intriguing possibilities to undesirably grim. How do you and other allies intend to proceed with the coming threat to finance? The 'Royal' wealth could be lost." The object injected into his head fin would likely be burning on Xylo for just a moment. Just encase there was any confusion at just who the mutual friend they were talking about was.
---- [suppressed to 351,414 PL] Separately sitting along with the more important guest was one of the drone bodies Icarus had split his energy between. Created at the time he made his morph as well. He had to keep up appearances after all. Icarus in male form with a false cloak mimicking the weighted one he used to wear. Hopefully to help make up for the fact any scouters locking onto him would see less then his normal power. The queen was gonna be the main focus here so he didn't expect many prying eyes to be upon him. If all went as planned he wouldn't speak or interact with anyone. Just remain silent listening close by to the Queens actions to come when she would be revealed. After all he had to keep a eye on all important information to come.

Post by Queen Habana on Nov 19, 2015 9:22:35 GMT
It was rather amusing to be among the few who genuinely knew more about the situation at hand than most, where many of the residents of Vegeta were fearful that because Zucc had vanished from the public eye after the Empire's defeat at the hands of the warriors of Earth that she had died there fighting said warriors, in the time since she had returned home Habana often heard muffled rumors and whispers from other Saiyans wondering what would become of the Empire with Zucceta dead, who would seek to claim the throne in her stead, initially Habana wanted to correct those who were jumping to conclusions but as Sam's suggestion she held back, Zucceta was queen, certainly she knew that many believed her dead, which meant that at least for the time being she was fine with such rumors spreading and that it was best to allow Zucceta to reveal the truth of the situation on her own terms.
One of the few people Habana had informed of the truth of the matter was her mother and when Jala informed Habana that there was something important going on at city hall Habana had a rough idea that now was probably the time that Sam had spoken of, Zucceta was ready to confirm her survival, but beyond that Habana was curious what else the big gathering would be for and as such Habana decided it best to make the trip to city hall to hear out what Zucceta had to say to the people of Vegeta.
Once again Habana found a new joy in her power, few Saiyans were particularly willing to stop her from taking a good position once they took a look at the readings on there scouters comparing there own power to hers and that was without even utilizing her super saiyan power, now it was all just a matter of waiting for Zucceta to make her big announcement and seeing what the reaction to it would be, the last big announcement Zucceta had made, the declaration of war against the rest of the known universe had been met with mostly positive but still somewhat mixed reactions from what Habana had seen, many Saiyans had been eager for battle, for a true war, but now after the rather frustrating conclusion of the invasion would the other Saiyans be so eager to follow? Habana felt reasonably confident that no matter what it was that Zucceta announced that she would be willing to follow, the queen was after all one of her only close friends.

(Going to attempt to keep this moving along. As it is a vital storyline for many of us here to simply let end.)
A crowd had gathered quite quickly, with cameras and personal scoured all over the place. Alaistair was joined by his reassured allied, Xylo. A woman sat next to him and seemed to be speaking to him in formalities. It was possible that this person had been amongst the people Xylo had met before coming across Alaistair on the planet, so the Devil King made no important note of this... At least, until the mention of the finance that was apparently going to be involved with this meeting. Not too important, but the Devil would ask, telepathically to his partner in crime, "Is the Empire having some sort of fiscal matter? Who's this person that sitting next to you?"
Something was odd... The person next to them didn't have a presence of energy. Was it a mechanical entity or some race that could mask their presence to such an extent? Alaistair shifted in his seat, feeling a little enclosed in by the environment. As he did, he looked over at the woman. White, semi-long hair, and red eyes. She most certainly was thin, with shoulders rather spread. Strange indeed...
"I'm going to contact Kizuki... Something about this feels fishy about this gathering," Alaistair echoed to Xylo's mind, "We'll simply sit quietly and observe for the time being, until we have a better idea of the situation."
Alaistair switched his legs, closing his eyes and quickly searched for Kizuki's presence. He wasn't around this area, certainly. Alaistair fixated his sensing further beyond the hall, to cover the whole city. As he did, Alaistair noted the presence of 2 powerful persons in the very hall. One, no doubt, had to be the Queen, but the other wasn't known to Alaistair. Something he'd have to rectify later on, no doubt. He felt Kizuki's presence to being near the edge of the city. The Devil King sent his mental voice out to the boy's mind, his thoughts being concerning, but by no means urgent... yet.
"Kizuki, where are you right now? I need you to prepare something... There should be a basic spaceship capsule around the Loft somewhere. If things go south, we'll need that ship ready, and we'll need to take the Loft with us as well as everything in the Loft. There are some powerful players around here that, at mine and Xylo's full power, we'll have a great amount of difficulty. Should we get into some sort of brawl, you'll go to the side of the front entrance and open the hidden panel there to insert a code. This code will be E413GH7. However, you MUST GET the ship out of there first before putting this code in. Is this clear?"

(In my opinion, I think we should do as Alaistair suggested and keep this thread moving now that we know the fate of Rev's RP situation on the site. @pin, sorry but I feel like you needed to be skipped at this point.)
It seemed to last forever, the amount of time the masses would be waiting for their Queen, Zucceta, to make her address to her Empire. The murmurs in the crowd got a bit louder, wondering when she would make her entrance. Though they would soon be drowned out once The Demon King, Alaistair, invaded his mind with his voice once again. It made Kizuki flinch a bit, coming on unexpected as usual. His eyes would slowly close, focusing on the voice within his head that did not belong to him, and the instructions that followed.
When Alaistair mentioned powerful players, it played on his curiosity to find out just how strong they were. However, he was a soldier first and his mission was clear. "Understood." was the only response the gave through his mind back to his superior. When his eyes opened, he kept his vision on the large screen in the main plaza before him for a few moments. Still no Queen. "Tch." could be heard coming from his mouth before he pushed himself off the pillar he was leaning on and began to exit the area back towards The Loft. It seemed the various speakers set up throughout the cities were fixed on the Queen's eventual address as well, as the murmurs of the room and the lack of a Queen's voice were what filled his ears as he moved. Once a safe distance away, he had hopped off the ground and began to float over to The Loft, using his ki as always.
Once there, he had made his way into Alaistair's main chamber. This was where he would find the ship capsule. Finding it, he would slip it into the inside of his battle vest, a small pocket stitched into the durable armor. Before leaving to the outside, he had made his way to the front entrance, barring the door shut so no patrons passing by could enter. Within the bar area he had managed to turn on a broadcasting screen that was already fixed to the conference. He was all too eager to listen to what this Queen had to say, and to see her with his own eyes.
He would reach out to Alaistair once more telepathically. "Ship capsule is secured. Contact me when you want the code entered on the panel. My current position is the Loft, watching the broadcast from your bar."
- Kizuki followed orders, currently situated in The Loft.

Zucceta was worried. She tried to tell herself she had very little to worry about, that the saiyan people would understand that there was honor in a defeat if you tried your hardest. It wasn't like there hadn't been exceptional circumstances - a whole team of her strongest fighters had betrayed the empire mid-invasion, irrevocably changing the tide of the battle. If they couldn't accept that her command and her own battle had been precise and effective, but that the Natto Force's betrayal was one of the primary causes of their loss, well, she wasn't sure she would care in the end anyway.
She walks through the corridors at the back of city hall, coming near the stage. A technician taps at a microphone and nods, before glancing up and seeing his queen. He gulps and bows, before moving towards her and fastening the audio equipment to her armour. Once done, he nods at her.
She steps out in front of the crowd. Several cameras flash; she was definitely still alive, then. For a moment, she assesses the crowd. She could sense a mixed response based on the murmurring: some were definitely happy to see her, others were a little skeptical, and a few were definite nay-sayers.
She smiles despite her nerves, or because of them. "Greetings, comrades of the Saiyan Solar Empire!" Her voice booms; it would have even without the microphone.
"I apologise for my absence in these recent months; my body, as you might have guessed, was extremely damaged during the failed assault of Earth."
She pauses and lets her statement sit in. A full admittal that the invasion had not gone to plan.
"For whatever reason, the victorious forces of Earth decided to let me leave. A play at attempting to wrangle a peace with us, perhaps," she lies, knowing full well it was due to a certain "goodness" that those Earthlings exuded rather than a fully political agenda.
"Some of you may blame me for the failure of the invasion-"
"You're damn right we do!" A voice bellows from the crowd.
Zucceta slams out her left hand, two extended fingers pointing directly at the source of the voice. A localised explosion occurs, a flash of red and white, and the nay-sayer is dissipated in his seat, between two fairly horrified onlookers.
"...but the real reason we failed was the treachery of Natto and his Force."
The crowd murmurs, generally approvingly. Zucceta smiles.
"I may remind you that, despite our loss, and the deaths of several dozens of soldiers, the SSE is still at its strongest and largest it has ever been. This is thanks to my direction!"
"The focus we should now take is to track down and eliminate the traitors. I will be personally heading up this task, as well as doing some... exploration while considering policy."
Someone raises a hand. Zucceta ignores him.
"What this means is that, while I am focused on this task, I will be electing an interim commander to run the day-to-day policies on Vegeta. While I'll have final say over how the overall empire is run, people will look to my old friend Habana, a powerful Super Saiyan warrior! Aiding her will be Mayze, another super warrior and survivor from the Earth invasion."
She smiles, looking into the crowd. "I will now take questions."
(gonna be learning an equivalent of Dirty Fireworks here (the exploding dude) but I'll have to write up a technique application and stuff slightly later).

[I’m not skipping order on this one, just jumping back in now that I have something to actually respond to]
Pin watched as Zuccetta stepped out to face the crowd. Even in his position at the front of the rabble, he was still just among the rabble and thus was not super close to her. Regardless, he listened to her speak with rapt attention. Her presence was strong and commanding, and he’d definitely have followed her to Earth. He was a bit disappointed, as he’d been hoping to see her robotic arm, but she was still quite menacing.
Especially when she completely obliterated a heckler in the crowd. Gene pool just got smarter.
She spoke of the war, and of Natto’s treachery. Pin shook his head at the name - he’d heard what had happened and still couldn’t understand. Regardless of how you might feel for the natives, turning on your people is just unacceptable. Then she mentioned tracking and destroying the traitors.
Tracking? Destroying? That was Pin’s whole mission statement! He was suddenly very excited.
And then she dropped the bomb. An interim commander for the Empire, that made sense. Pin wondered who it could be. Probably some high ranking general or something.
Nope. She named Habana. Habana, Pin’s new friend and ally.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” Pin said, smiling beneath his helmet, “Oh, I’m so IN.”

(Seeing as Icarus has left the site, after me is Queen Habana. After that I suppose it'll be Alaistair and Kizuki and then Zucceta again. Next round we can return to the original posting order. Sound good?) The Namekian shifted his eyes to the left, eyeing the girl who had sat down next to him. She spoke in a whisper, asking how the Devil Knights planned to continue their takeover with the Queen still alive. He frowned, but it shifted to a wince for a brief moment as the tracking device in his head-fin sizzled lightly. Before he could respond to the girl however, the tracking device was popped out of his head, most likely by the same person who set it to sizzle. The strange girl snatched it as it escaped his fin, quickly standing up and walking away before Xylo could utter a single word. His head-fin began regenerating the small bit of skin it had lost as Alaistair telepathically inquired as to what the hell had just happened. Xylo responded mentally, informing the demon of what had just happened. "That was one of Icarus' assistants. It seems he's decided to back out on us... Don't worry though. If he was going to rat us out we'd already be on our way to Knutts." Alaistair responded, saying he was going to contact Kizuki, to which Xylo nodded in agreement. "Very well."There was silence for a good while as the crowd awaited Zuccetta's reveal with baited breath. It was like time stood still for months as they waited, but eventually, the Queen revealed herself. Despite her recent defeat, she looked as strong as ever; it seemed she'd even grown stronger than she was on Arcose. An attendant hooked something up to the Queen before slithering away, allowing Zuccetta to address her people freely. She began her speech with the obvious, revealing that she had indeed failed on Earth. Xylo was honestly a bit disappointed. He'd seen her might first-hand on Arcose, how could she possibly fail on Earth? He had traveled there less than a decade ago and the planet was inhabited by nothing but weaklings! How could they have beaten a Super Saiyan, much less four of them? The Queen shifted the topic to her own failure, which incited a single rabble-rouser. He was quickly silenced however, as his entire body was blown to smithereens. Xylo turned around to view the smoldering remains of the mans seat, and a grin crept up his face. He chuckled lightly before returning his attention to the speech. She finally finished off her speech by revealing she was to embark on an expedition to find and kill the traitor Natto. At the same time, she appointed a Saiyan woman as interim-commander, along with Mayze. The name Mayze rang a bell for the Namekian. It was someone he'd encountered on Namek a few months before the planet had exploded. With Icarus gone, perhaps Mayze would be a good replacement as traitor. The only problem was he seemed fairly loyal to his Empire last time they spoke, and it was doubtful he'd have a change of mind over a loss involving a traitor. The Queen said she'd answer questions, and Xylo instinctively raised his hand. He cursed himself for doing so, but he had a question he wanted answered. Should Zuccetta acknowledge him, he'd ask: "Rumors from those who survived the battle in South Capitol say that Natto achieved some next level of Super Saiyan. Do you have any plans on researching this power he unlocked yourself?" He had to admit, after asking that question he felt a bit silly. Of course a Saiyan would strive for more power! Why even ask such a thing? Still though, it was a question he was curious of the answer to; regardless of the obvious nature of the answer. He sent a telepathic message to Alaistair as he waited for a reply from the Queen. "It's highly doubtful anyone has even an inkling of suspicion for us yet. Might as well ask a question yourself if you have any to ask."

Habana grinned as Zucceta finally stepped out before the crowd, some of those around her had been murmering about the wait and some particularly foolish members of the crowd began to make outragous claims such as that Zucceta would not actually be making an apperance and instead had simply fled the planet likely never to be seen again, Habana had been half tempted to smack the sources of these idiotic rumors upside the head but instead opted to simply let Zucceta dispel them on her own and the Queens arrival and distinct lack of fleeing rather immedietly did so, the crowd's reaction to the Queen was a bit more mixed than Habana liked but it was not entirely unexpected, Zucceta had technically lead them into a doomed invasion, but of course Zucceta had no way of knowing how doomed it was, even as a member of the squad Habana had not been able to anticipate Natto's betrayal.
Habana smirked as Zucceta swiftly dealt with a heckler in the crowd an action that would permanently silence that particular idiot and also seemed to do quite the job of reigning in some of the other more rowdy Saiyans who blamed her for the Empire's defeat on Earth. Habana listened idly as Zucceta continued her speech addressing the defeat and stating that in spite it it the Empire was still at its best state in years. Habana grinned excitedly as Zucceta mentioned that a focus on hunting down the traitors was necessary, one she intended to head personally, she felt reasonably certain that while Zucceta would be leading such an expedition she would have no qualms with bringing at least a few people along with her and Habana would be first in line to jump at the chance to do so.
Already plotting how she would aid in Natto's future defeat Habana only vaguely paid attention as Zucceta mentioned that the planet would be receiving a temporary commander while Zucceta was away on her mission, Habana almost felt sorry for whatever poor fool would be in that position, running an Empire had to be a monumental task in and of itself.
“people will look to my old friend Habana, a powerful Super Saiyan warrior!”
Habana was pulled from her plotting as Zucceta declared the 'poor fool' who would be commanding the Empire. Habana's face tightened as she stared up at Zucceta as the full weight of the statement slowly began to overtake her, luckily there were few Saiyans immediately around her who recognized that she was in fact the saiyan that Zucceta was referring to, many were simply far more fixated on Zucceta. Habana was not entirely sure HOW to respond to this situation, part of her was floored by the fact that Zucceta believed her capable of running the Empire in her stead, but the far more vocal part of her screamed everything wrong with this situation, there would be almost countless people who would take issue with her being in command of the Empire once they realized that Zucceta was appointing a mid-class HYBRID as there temporary commander. All Habana really had to counter that was that she was now a super saiyan which would, hopefully, be more than enough.

(Sorry on the wait guys! If this happens again, feel free to skip me! Work has been absorbing my energy with the holiday season as of late.)
Xylo relayed a message to him telepathically that it was one of Icarus's former servants, stating that he had fled like the coward he was. Alaistair nodded, as the Queen approached the stage. A few rabble rousers in the crowd, who were suggesting the Queen had fled in disgrace, were instantly silenced, and in a quick display of power at someone who interrupted the Queen via a powerful explosion pinpointed at the particular person! Alaistair bit his lower lip, as he nodded at the display of power impressed. In a quiet voice, he muttered, "Mm... Well then..."
Kizuki had relayed he'd arrived at the Loft and had the ship in hand. He just simply needed the command code from Alaistair and he'd capsulize the Loft! Alaistair relayed to him, "Keep yourself ready, but observe this meeting on the screen. I take it some people probably snuck back inside already watching whilst drinking from my cabinets. In which case, charge those who're trying to get free booze and break the arms and tails of those who're trying to argue and fight with you."
The Queen proceeded to note that the invasion was a failure, due to the treachery of a saiyan and an elite unit called the Natto force, with the leader being of the very same name. She named that the 2nd in command would be a super saiyan known as Habana, a woman with a considerable amount of power. Xylo proceeded to inquire on a rumor he'd come across, that the leader Natto had obtained a higher stage of power above the normal Super Saiyan. Alaistair raised an eyebrow, deciding to hold off his questions until he had a suitable amount of resources to ask away. Hopefully, the Queen's temperament would be in an acceptable condition...
(Found nothing to respond to as of yet. Gonna wait my turn to chit chat.)
