(Kizuki, Lord Xylo, and @zerori! Telepathic messages being sent to you! Attempt at Final level of Telepathy (SU3) being made!)
The Cherry Valley Loft... A once luxurious bar and inn, the place was now a bit of a shambling mess that was only a shard of its glory days! It served as Alaistair's home and base of operations for his developing assault on Vegeta. At the moment, they were gathering forces, creating alliances within the enemy stronghold and with those that were shunned for their minor physical deformation. So far, they had acquired a saiyan named Kizuki, a man who seemed knowledgeable in the ways of war! Yet, they had to develop their power quickly. The Queen and her forces were still mighty, to begin with, and whether or not they succeeded in conquering the Earth, they'd still have grown exponentially in power, no doubt! The clashes of power Alaistair sensed those months ago, despite being on Vegeta, had rung loudly in the Devil's mind. It told him that he had to unlock his power quickly.
He was preparing to release the final link on his mind, so that he could allow his mind to reach its glorious level that he once had been. He wished to speak to the many souls of HFIL that he had, long ago, promised to help release from their confines! Alaistair wanted to also figure out what exactly was this seal was and why was it releasing as he 'strengthened.' Yet, a beeping attracted Alaistair's ear from his black scouter. Who was contacting him at this time? He reached for the nearby machine and placed the earmuff on him.
It was Xylo! It seemed he was successful with his dealings and the android Icarus was out of the way! This was good... Very good! The Devil relayed that, once he was finished with his meditation, they would grab a drink to celebrate! With the Loft having a rejuvenation chamber being built, they should be able to assault the capital and have a rest point, should anyone get too heavily injured. However, they'd need a few of them, so that some can heal up and come back stronger than they were before! All this thought, though, was giving Alaistair a pain in his head.
"It's time I remove that thorn..!"
Alaistair put his scouter to his side, tapping it off so that there'd be no further interruptions. He curled his legs on top of each other and placed his hands on each thigh, as vacuumed a deep gulp of air before releasing. His heart slowed down, as he closed his eyes. His tail curled around him to his right side. He proceeded to the dreamscape once more, to hunt down the final piece of shard impaling his mind! Colors, once again, melted away to a plain white, the floor of iron being the only thing remaining. Things were different, once more.
Alaistair stood, leaving behind his body yet again in the room, and stood at the edge of the room. He looked up and down the white space, to see various platforms had floated about as well. Memories, or perhaps dreams waiting for to latch onto the Devil? Only one way to find out! He lept off his platform, falling down like a feather swaying in the wind.
"Alright... What would the game behind this shard be," Alaistair pondered loudly. He, of course, wasn't alone here. The clown laughed, its shrill voice echoing across the confines of Alaistair's mind!
"What indeed! That is a good questions, precious," the clown taunted, floating down in front of the Devil with a wide grin!
Alaistair looked at him with a sneer, but forced a smile as he inquired, "Clearly you already know the answer, aye? What could I do to get that from you?"
The two of them quickly halted from falling, as the clown cried out, in baffled glee, "Wait! Wait wait wait wait! Did you just ask the question that I thought you- HAH! HA HAH HAHAHA!"
It proceeded to roll about, seemingly teleporting from spot to spot all around the Devil, tears flying out as it laughed! Alaistair, too, laughed a bit, but in a more of a awkward manner that suggested him questioning the decision. The clown jumped right at him, pulling him in from his shoulder with one arm and put its other hand on Alaistair's chest, as it purred, "You're serious, yeeeeeeeeeees?"
Alaistair, to be frank, was honestly creeped out by this. He even took a moment to struggle free, but to no avail. He demanded, "Let m-"
"Yes! Of course you did! Let's see here," the clown excitedly shouted, slapping Alaistair a couple times in the face with the hand on his chest, before shoving the Devil away into a random chair the formed into existence! It proceeded to snap its fingers, memories from Alaistair's popping up.
The Devil soon realized what it was going to do, and he didn't like it one bit! He shot up from the chair and dove at the clown, but as sudden as he lept, so soon was he back in the chair! He cursed, remembering that this demon had more power in this dreamscape than Alaistair had here.
"No... Not this... OOH! I'll have to save this one for later! No... Not this one either. Where's that blasted- AH! Here we are!"
The clown vanished, after it pulled out a phantom of Alaistair's past: His mentor! The devil was beguiled by this form, standing sternly. Alaistair cursed loudly, shouting, "Damn clown! Release me! Release me n-"
"Fallen so far... My fair student, you are now a shadow of what you once were. A threat soon to be brought forth on the universe. I must send you to the grove, so that you may revive to what you once were."
"Master! You know full well on why I-"
His voice was silenced with a pulse from the master's hand, shattering the chair he was sealed to. The environment quickly changed, reverting back to when Alaistair fully turned to what he was now. Tall buildings, reminiscent to those in the Northern Capital, pierced into the dark clouds churning above! It was the last day of his battle with his master and brethren, as well as the day when the drumming of heavy guns filled the air! His brothers and master, he dared not kill... A decision he found himself regretting immediately!
"Master, you have to listen to me! We can't simply stay on Kaishin when there is so much death and destruction about! Aren't we- GAH!"
His master's foot rammed into him, punting him into one of the ruined skyscrapers! Only after he flew through the confines of the building could he recover his balance, firing out a Devil Wave straight through the building at his master. He only wanted to weaken his master so that he could go unopposed and show him that interfering in the qualms of mortals was important when they were so destructive like this! His master, though, charged right into the beam, the energy splitting all around him as closed in on the Devil!
"Shit! Shit shit shit!"
Alaistair's master shot out of the energy and proceeded to bludgeon the Devil Shin-Jin in a barrage of punches! As he did, the master shot a blast into the Devil's face, sending him piling into the ground below. It manifested into a white pillar stabbing Alaistair through his right eye. It was as though it were sealing him away...
"Wait a minute... Is this-"
"NOPE!"
The energy quickly felt like a red hot iron sizzling his insides with the response. It was a sensation that Alaistair hadn't felt in ages, but it was something that he could never forget! The memory didn't cease, though, as his old master made his way to the boy, not showing a sign of weariness that Alaistair didn't recall. Was this simply the clown's tool to torture Alaistair? It was infuriating!
"No," Alaistair growled, forcing the pain aside as he lifted to his feet, "I will not... Not, I say, go through this torture!"
In a disgusting manner, the pillar pulled through Alaistair's head! The elder shrieked in as if he were a sickly crow, attempting to ram Alaistair back down the pillar. This wasn't just a memory... It was a nightmarish vision his evil essence manifested! Alaistair, in a heat of the moment, smashed the demented image to the side, as he dislodged from the pole. He had enough... And this dementia would not get the best of him!
"You must be silenced! You are a mons- Hyaaach!"
That was all that came out from the nightmare before it and the environment shattered like peined glass from the devil unleashing a mighty pulse outwards. He huffed deeply, as he shot out of his meditation. His body was in a sweat and... There something on the back of his head? It itched in an irritating manner, despite a very loose pinch it had! He grasped at it, and brought the culprit light! It was a piece of the former halo. It was large enough to fit into a switchblade. It faded away, with a ghostly howl. With it, though, came clarity... Clarity that he had not felt for thousands of years! Pathways of thought he had not felt in ages reached him once more!
"See... It wasn't so bad, now was it, Alaistair?"
The 'clown' sat across from him, in a black shade of what he looked like, peering out with white eyes wreathed in an amber cornea. Forked teeth could be seen in its grin. Alaistair wished nothing more than to strangle it, but he knew the creature wasn't actually there. He could only agree with it, as he sent out a psionic message to Xylo and Kizuki.
"Lads... It's about time to get a drink and figure out the next stage to take this planet over. Come to the Loft."
Xylo and Kizuki should be quickly making their way over, the prospect of a drink no doubt being accepted. However, he was not done yet... Others must be called to this planet.
He expanded his senses outwards, to encompass the stars above! He was seeking to contact the two he'd met in the past, before having come to Vegeta to escape the mad android, Re-Aligner Red. Gleciar and Zerori... Two warriors whom he'd hope would be up for conquering Vegeta and joining his forces. To each of them, he sent a personal message, to hopefully entice them to coming to Vegeta and planning this out together. Zerori, he could find quickly, for her power had amassed quite nicely over the past few months! It even made the Devil a bit envious of her!
"Ms. Zerori! Are you receiving this message? It's Alaistair, the Devil from that one bar several months back in the ruins of the Western Capital, if you recall. It seems you've acquired a great amount of power since the last time we've met! If you don't mind, I've a business offer, if you are up for this, and the rewards are most plenty... The job I've got in mind is conquest of the planet. And with this conquest, comes acquisition to your heart's content! It is a difficult job, I can most definitely agree with you, but if we succeed, all of this in the end will be worth it! If you are interested, make your way over to the planet and search on the outer rim of the Raditsu District. I've transferred the Loft there."
Gleciar's presence, he could not detect... Either the man was hiding his power or something had happened to him and he'd passed on. That was disappointing, Alaistair had to admit. But, if he could at least acquire Zerori, he'd be fine with that!
(Thread is complete! I'd like power level please!)
