The old soldier didn't remember everything, but he did recall it was thanks to his little human friend he was still breathing. "Damn robots." he groaned, planting his fist into the dirt to get himself up on his knees. Spitting a clot of blood into the dirt; the skid mark of broken earth showing a rough landing. "Good work lass. Now let this old useless sack o' bones do the rest." Broad arm wrapped around the girls waist, and hoisted her over broad shoulders. Letting a quiet snarl of pain out as he felt (And heard) the subtle grinding of broken ribs pressing against eachother. One arm keeping his bones together; he started through the trees. Hiking with some difficulty until he was along the caves he knew. Val lived in the North, and plied both hunting and bounty work here. Fugitives hid in the mountains all the time, and he knew a good spot.
Yanking the tattered remains of his shirt off to make some sort of pillow for the girl; the grizzled veteran sat with his back against the stone wall. Bare from the chest up except for his tattered hat; steam rolled off scarred body as the cold set in. "Best get us some food then eh, little'un? You better wake up soon. Can't right fly all the way to Lucia like this."
By the time Miss Ai woke up; there was a decent sized fire flickering through the cave system. Casting the shadows of both Sheriff and his efforts. A deer, already skinned and hanging from some convenient rock shelf, was half cut up. Strips of meat and muscle over a stone along the edge of the fire. Glowing cherry red from the heat; the smell of smoldering protein filling the cave. And, like it or not, the things pelt was wrapped around the girl like a sleeping bag. Luckily Ki could be used for more then just fighting, and starting a fire had been the least of his worries. And hunting, well that was far too easy with a scouter. Still, this wasn't the time to be a sportsman about things. Still half bare, the soldier stirred the flames. Grunting to himself as he unbound something wrapped in uncured hide. The smell of bread filling the air. "Hmm...been awhile since I made ash bread. Should be fine." Palm brushed the ash off the crust of the small loaf, blowing on it to clear it off more. Hopefully the girl wasn't a stickler for food. Tearing it in half, he started quietly munching on his part, setting the other back in the leather 'pan' to keep warm for the girl.
Despite everything, he felt...alright. Stronger, that was for sure. Lot could be said about Saiyan biology. Grabbing a strip of charred back meat to chew on; the fighter took a seat next to the girl. Leaning over and poking her cheek again and again. "Ey, Aaaaaaai, wake up. Aiami!" He dropped the chunk of meat between her lips. "Time to get up, foods on! And, if that robot comes back I already got a broken rib, so we both best be alive before he shows up. Or that hedgehog, he tried to eat ya y'know."

Currently, Aiami was in a state of distress and exhaustion; physically, mentally, and emotionally. While unconscious her thoughts were filled with the battle she had just been through, and none of it was pleasant. This made her restless as she was passed out, which only served to make things worse as even the slightest movement caused pain to flare in her aching muscles. Her whole body felt like it had just been tenderized by being smashed into a mountain. Again, and again, and again. It felt like the most grueling thing she had ever been through, and to be fair, it more than likely was.
Because of the pain, she was vaguely aware of what was going on, mostly because when she was moved the pain was enough to pull her back to consciousness, if only briefly. Val had survived, apparently. Seemed like it was him carrying her. Next she was in a cave, and she could smell... something. Cooking? If the orange glow on the ceiling was any indication, it was being cooked over a warm fire. She was grateful for that. It was soothing, slightly.
The next thing she knew was feeling someone poking her again and again, in the face. It was mildly irritating. But Aiami surprise wasn't mild when a piece of something warm and chewy landed in her mouth. She went rigid, which elicited a good deal of pain from her muscles. She let out a groan as she blinked her eyes open, taking in her surroundings officially. She tested and then chewed on the meat as she struggled to sit up. Regardless of how much it hurt, she was hungry. And she would need the energy food gave.
Soon she was done with the bit of meat and was sitting up. She still looked in bad shape, slumped over as she was. Her gi looked ragged from the battle, as well. Still, Aiami managed to speak, looking to the saiyan. "Thanks, Val... I don't think they'll be catching up anytime soon. Seems like they got chased off by something strong that was coming our way. At least, that's what I remember feeling..."
After another groan as Aiami tried to sit up straight, she looked back to Val. "How about you? You look... better."

"Saiyan. We 'bout double our strength errytime we almost die." He grinned, sitting next to his little friend with a grunt of pain, despite growing power or not. The Zenkai sure was a beautiful thing to have going for you when you weren't a bad guy.
He tugged her half of the bread and set it in her lap, and piled on some more grilled strips of meat ontop of it. "Found wild wheat. Not much but enough to make some bread. Just don't expect it on the menu when we get to Lucia." he palmed the girls hair and ruffled it up with a easy smile. "Get you some greasy diner food, put some meat on dem bones." The near death experience didn't phase him much, it never phased any Saiyan much. He let a pained breath out, putting a hand over his sternum and adjusting something. The movement of bone under his skin was visible as he reset the break. Winding some vines around it to keep it as best as he could for a set so far out in the wilds.
"One hell of a fight Ai, might got some monkey blood in you." his dark eyes gleamed with humor, before he was silenced by his own food. Passing a few minutes with nothing but the sound of the usual noisy Alien eating, and the crack of the fire. Once he was done, and licking grease from his digits, he sat b ack against the cave wall. Regarding her and her odd little burst of power to keep that odd alien android off them. "Gonna have to go back one day y'know. Bio androids don't forget lost prey"

Seems there was even more to Saiyans than she thought she was aware of. Aiami wondered how many more secrets there were to to the race, but she hoped she wouldn't have to find out much more than what she already knew. Then again, on the subject of secrets, there was more to know about herself as well. Where had that power come from? And why did it leave her in such a horrible state? She had never heard of anything like it, and she didn't have her teacher here to help understand. It was... unsettling. But she was glad she had the capacity, at least. Without it, she wasn't sure her or Val would even be speaking now.
She hoped she wouldn't have to take Val's word about.. 'bio-androids.' Whatever those were. The thought of it slithering back to fight her once more made her fearful. She was in no shape to stop it, or maybe even run from it. Aiami shook her head, she didn't want to think about it. She didn't fail to notice the bindings on Val's torso, either. Instead, she shifted to talk about something else, to take both of their minds off the situation.
"I.. don't know about that. The blood, that is." She laughed weakly in between a bite. It was slow going, but Aiami was working through the food at a steady pace. "But... what's Lucia? Is that where you live?"

"Aye. Long time ago we all hoped out a slave ship." He flexed his metal limb, sparks falling off it as the abused arm. "Buncha humans, a few aliens too. Kinda just settled up in the mountains. That was...five-six years ago." He added between bites. "Lumber and mining mostly. Far enough away nobody swings by to bug us, close enough to the Capital to make some cash off the ore and wood." he swallowed a gulp of meat and bread. Making a bit of a sandwich as he chomped with the usual vigor of any hungry Saiyan. "Get you a actual bed to sleep in to. Not much granted, but we got about a few thousand folk living up there now. Grew pretty fast. Lot's of folk deserve a second start. I be the Sheriff." As if he could be anything else. The old fighter could do his hand at plenty of things, but fighting was bred into his race, like it or not.
"What about you kid?" He shifted the coals of the fire, embers sparking up like fireflies for a moment before it settled again. Adding some more meat to the stones and sticks over the heat. Looked like his little friend was as hungry as he was, and they had an entire deer to get through.

Aiami took a moment to finish her current bite before responding, thought she chewed over the Sheriff's words as she did so. Humans and aliens and at least one Saiyan living together in what sounded like peace. Sounded like an exciting place to visit, and the idea of an actual bed was definitely a motivator for her wanting to get there. A soft mattress and a warm blanket... just the thought of them seemed to make the pain in her muscles dim.
"I grew up in Kota Town." She spoke after swallowing. It still hurt. "It's somewhere west of East City, far enough out we don't visit much, and we're off the beaten path of the highways connecting all the cities, so we don't get a lot of traffic. It's a farming town so if there is any, it's usually the farmers taking their crop into the city to sell. It's a nice place. Good community, quiet, but with an energy of its own. Probably thanks to the local martial arts temple there. It's nothing big like the Turtle or the Crane school I've heard about, but it has experienced instructors, and there are a lot of students. There's a small tournament the town looks forward to every year. Probably still my favorite week out of the year." Just talking about her home was enough to start making her perk up, more and more as she spoke.
"I have lots of friends there, and my family is there as well..." Aiami's bright expression wilted some at that, and she continued, a little more quiet. "I miss them. This is my first time being away from them for so long. And I left right before this... invasion started. They're safe, I'm sure. I don't think the Saiyans would bother with it. But I am sure they are worried sick, and the longer it takes for me to return, the worse it will be. Hopefully I can get to a phone soon, at least."
Aiami took another large bite, half-and-half of the meat and bread, as she stared into the fire, a homesick expression on her features.

The fighter stretched his shoulders, letting a scowl cross his scarred lips as the motion disturbed old muscles. Getting to aged for this, some things did NOT age like fine wine. Like his bones.
Lighting a new cigar, even without his duster the man seemed to be able to pull them out of nowhere again and again. Tail holding the snubby item near the fire until it sparked to life. Silence filled the cave asides from the fire and the audible puffs as he got the cheroot working properly. Visibly savoring the effort of simple smoking; he adjusted his hat down. Boot propping up on rock. "Martial artists. Hm, every high level human I know is one of ya. Best be somethin' in the discipline; the Empire could learn a bit if we weren't all born strong as we are. Still, ya ain't doin' half bad lass." he flashed a lazy grin, teeth glinting under the shade of his weathered lowbrim. "Once you can stand we'll fly to Lucia and get some real medicine runnin. My wife is a Doctor."
Odd, wasn't it, how a rough old Sheriff was married to a very gentle if somewhat eccentric medical adviser. Still, odder things had happened in his life. Like this one time a Saiyan, an Android, a Bio Android, and a Buu had ended up in his towns main source of income, the mine.
"We'll have Serenity patch you up, and I'll take ya to Kota Town myself. Truck though, this flyin' thing gets boring after awhile."

[Thread PL 34,920 Heavy weights on, Weighted PL 8,730]
Not far off in the northern lands others were hunting as well. But not for meat so much as wild vegetables. Green didn't normally hunt meat himself. He wasn't much of a killer for fun or even for food rarely. If he did it usually involved eating something that had attacked him rather then the other way around. Unless it was fishy meat of course. Fishes were the best food and it was ok to eat them,... Just because. Wolf meat he didn't mind eating either since most of them traveled in packs like bullies and at times tried to eat other animals that were cute and often just minded their own business. Green mentally shaking a little fist as he thought about it lugging around a backpack at present about half full with wild vegetables and a little baggy as well for berries and more squishy delectable delights. Now mind you a saibamen can eat just about anything and be fine quality still came into question. Just case you could eat metal didn't make it taste good after all. Besides he'd only ever come to known earth so he'd in his short life so far had come to learn what was good and what was not as far as wild and snacks in the city went.
However as the little orange and blue clothed Saiba wondered he'd smell in the air the scent of cooked meat! Something else too he didn't quite recognize. Now when someone else cooked meat he didn't really question the meanness of it then. It was just tasty food at that point. In truth he probably overlooked the fact entirely it was even actually meat and not just tasty taste goodness now. His little clawed feet were leaving a interesting little set of tracks not far behind in the dirt as well. Remaining silent however given there wasn't anything but soft soil for his claws to clack into. His little claw toes wiggling occasionally when he'd plop them accidentally in a puddle or squishy mud. Funny thing he knew how to track pretty well but never actually considered what a distinct set of prints he left behind for people to find him as well by. Sure he could wear shoes to cover it up but have you ever tried to get shoes on over clawed toes! They pop right through then you have a whole new problem of trying to get them off. He didn't need that set of problems. Saiba problems.
About half way to the smell tracking it curious since he knew he smelled fire as well. He pulled off his back his little guitar(Ukelele) He'd picked up recently in one of the cities. As he'd softly begin playing a little soft finding it a simple yet effective thing to pull his mind from most the recent worries of the bad space furry tails that caused such a ruckus recently. But heroes always stood up to evil as it should be and in the end while places were broken and bruised things were healing. An that was all that was important.
It would likely be heard a simple music as he neared the cave entrance. Before slowly coming into view at the opening after a little walking up would walk the rather small three foot even tall Midori Green. A saibamen in the Turtle school Dogi playing his little guitar. He saw what looked like some rather battered people. Or at least tired? In his mind when he saw people in bad shape it only seemed the logical thing to try and make things better right? He thought to himself anyway why not try and make people's days brighter? Unless you were a bad person... In which case he'd rather kick them in the knees! Taking a brief moment imagining himself kicking that mean old android man who blew up his box not long back before all the craziness of the furry tails.
For the moment he simply remained lightly silent besides the light music playing as the tiny little warrior played his in proportion to him looked like a guitar perfectly suited to his size. Walking on the other side of their small fire just continuing to play his little tune and giving them a light smile as red eyes looked oddly innocently at them. An after a few moments he'd finally pipe up with a simple but effect. "Kek...Heh..Ki..Heh Hiiiii" He'd say in a soft tone muttering out his greeting beyond the light mutter of his own language as well mixed in. Still playing his little music softly. His backpack being let fall to the cave floor as it fell to the showing it had some rather fresh vegetables within. Not being rude either yet as he still wanted but didn't ask about the smelling meat that smelled like magic... Almost magic like courage but more yum yum magic in this case.

Wow. Conan couldn't believe he was flying in the direction the Old Saiyan and the human went. yes, he did have some encounters on the way there and he had gained much power from that, but he still had a feeling of uneasiness. Yes, he was ecstatic that he might learn the techniques of a experienced saiyan warrior like Arlic, but he was afraid he might not be strong enough. "No," He told himself. "I am a saiyan. Saiyans are the most powerful beings in the universe. That means I am on of the most powerful people on this planet." His pride swelled a little knowing that. Conan finally had a sight of their camp. He smelled meat there, and that made his mouth water. Conan didn't have many meals on this planet, he didn't so he could save zeni. He finally got within 10 yards of their camp. he landed and began to walk the rest of the way there. Conan took a breath of the air. It had a scent of honey of it when he breathed it through his nose. "Ahh. I love spring," Conan said to himself as he approached the camp. he wondered if the Old saiyan had a family, whether on earth, or on Planet Vegeta. Conan didn't worry about the human that much, they were basically on par now, since his power level was at 7,030. Also since, well, Arlic was the main person he wanted to talk to. As he walked finally 1 foot in front of the two, he made himself known. "Hello other people who fought the androids. I never got to introduce myself properly haven't i." Conan cleared his throat and said politely to them, "Greetings! My name Is Conan, and i'm a saiyan from Planet Vegeta. As you can see, I am not part of the SSE, however my armor says otherwise." Conan chuckled at that last part and began again, "I came here to, formally meet both of the warriors who were brave enough to fight the androids. And I am informed that the elder one of you two-" Conan took a pause to nod in Arlic's direction, "Are a saiyan with experience on the battlefield." Conan hoped that he was making a good impression. "I have come to ask both of you of your origins, and ask the saiyan something private," Conan said. He unwrapped his tail and asked them, "So, which one of you would like to go first?"

"I... would appreciate that very much, thank you." Aiami leaned back, the idea of a place to rest, a doctor, and a trip home were blending together in her battered mind and it made her feel wonderful. In fact, she was already starting to imagine some very pleasant music going along with the thoughts of the trip back. What sounded like a serene, delightful strumming of some sort of guitar. A smile was slowly spreading on her features as it got louder, and her neck began to relax as she leaned her head back into the cave.
Wait. It was getting louder. Aiami blinked her eyes open and focused toward the approaching sound, making out a small figure with a large head before everything became clear and she tensed up. A small part of her mind recognized the outfit the thing was wearing, but she was too overwhelmed by its appearance to comment on that at the moment. As well, by it expertly strumming on the small instrument it was carrying. Despite it's somewhat unnerving looks, it appeared to be smiling. And then it plopped down next to them, dropping their sack of plant-based goodies, and after it spoke. Or, she could at least recognize one word past the odd noise it was making.
"Ah... hi." She responded bluntly, still looking a little shocked. She'd never even heard about whatever this thing was before. Still, it seemed pleasant enough so she tried to make up for her greeting with a quick, reassuring smile. "You, ah... play very well!" She said quickly, glad words finally came to her. Aiami looked over to Alric with eyes looking for guidance, hoping he would have a better understanding of what was going on.
And then someone else showed up. Aiami knew she was weak because despite the practice, she only felt the approaching power once they were close. Too close. But she vaguely recognized it, and indeed it was the small Saiyan from before, not looking worse for wear after his bout with Breech. She kept her eyes on him as he spoke, then looked to Val and shrugged before back to Conan. "I am Aiami, from Kota Town. A martial artist." She figured that would suffice.
Letting Val have his turn, she looked back to the green person, again with a smile, though she did still look slightly surprised at it. "It is nice to meet you."

The towering Saiyan let a grin split his features; palming a broad metal hand onto the little Saiba's head. Rubbing the flat surface with an easy charisma laden voice. "Well look at you! Friendly lil bugger ain't ye. Ain't met a sentient Green in years. Wonderful lads when they bust out the entire 'evil alien' thing." He reached over the fire; metal digits ignoring the heat and flame as he plucked another strip of charred meat up. Tossing it to the little guitar-playing plant-lifeform. "Trade ya some meat for some greens." As he scooped a few vegetables up, juggling them in palms of flesh and cybernetics. Cigar still smouldering as he flicked his arm; a blade clicking out the foreplate. Jutting above his wrists as he did his tricks. As the vegetables passed into it's range from the juggling motions they'd be sliced; coming around and around as what had been half a dozen greens turned to handfuls of smaller chunks.
"Ah! Lil Brother. Tis good ta see ye made it our alive." The fighter decreed as he set to work cooking. Flipping the new ingredients onto the flat rock he was using for cooking; making a rough version of stirfry. Not that they were related, he called everyone that. 'cept girls. Although he had thought Aiami was a boy when they first met. So sue him, it was hard to tell with humans sometimes.
"Sit down lad, get some grub." Another toss of fried meat.
Right, introductions.
"Captain Arlic Valliere; Sheriff of Little Lucia in the far north."

Green continued to play even as the new warrior flew onto the scene. Paying this one little mind though as he kept along taking in the warmth of the glowing fire. An the smell of cooking food sauntering into the air. People didn't normally come out this far randomly in the wilderness. The girl looked a little rough as well Green's red eyes looking over them all and the scene before him as his three little clawed fingers danced along the mini guitar's strings that seemed to produce a magical sound the longer he played it. The fact he was doing it second nature to him at this point. One of the perks of being a saibamen being nearly anything they set their mind to they caught onto quickly. If they could keep focused that is, Not that Green realized this himself or anything. "Heheh, Kiki, Many hello's! Greetings! You pretty lady, You have boo boo's? Responding shortly and positively to her kindness. Her kind remarks small and quaint did have a nice and desired effect.
As well as the kind man petting his head briefly. Green never understood why people did this. While he did stiffen briefly he accepted it after a moment. He had learned after so long this was just a way some showed their affection. He also discovered his bunny friends as well as several other animals in the forest homes enjoyed this as well. It was the new greeting in the animal kingdom to the kind animals at least. Hearing the evil thing comment though he perked his eyes up waddling over to his back pack briefly laying the Ukulele on the ground softly and shuffling through the items but continuing to answer the mans words and conversation. After all it was rude to ignore people if they were talking to you. He'd learned to at least keep his attention stuck to words when they were spoke at him to avoid this insult. He didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings after all. "Me no evil, Me hero! Midori Green. Me helped stop furry tails in the West West. Big fights! Giiiiiant furries! Me climb up and beat em up!" Awfully describing the events of climbing up the Oozaru's fur and delivering severe blows when he reached the heads. Although you'd never think he was capable of it now looking at him in his calm almost completely disarming manners. After a bit though the man offered a small trade. Green didn't seem to mind as he caught the little strip of meat letting out a light screech from the heat of the meat.
Tossing it from hand to hand briefly as if it lightly burned before tossing it up and slurping it into his lips and chewing it with small jaws but lightly sharp looking fangs that cut through the meat with relative ease. They could chew through most anything with enough time rather that be meat, bone, metals... He'd licked his clawed fingers too there shortly rubbing his belly at the warm feeling within of a satisfied tummy. "You can have some of the greens. Just don't take my berries. I like berries. Kikiki All kinds of berries..." He was while saying this waddling around the fire and towards hits Aiami something in his hands and he was dragging something behind him as well in his other hand. He'd had to sit them down in the brief hand burning incident of a few moments ago. Dark times those times... But we get past it and move on yes? But never the less he made his way around and close to her waddling along simply and in a cheerful grinning fashion. Like a child with a plan or at least a green child...
In one hand he offered up something that looked like a fresh bandage rolled up and soft sterile. He wasn't really good at using these but he knew they were good for boo boo's and she looked like she might have needed a little help. One of his good treasures and supplies it was. Reaching up with on hand offering that and in his other hand. In the other hand was a small stuffed bear but one with a cat face. Missing its left arm as he tried to push it towards her. Something he'd found treasure hunting not long ago. "For boo boo's! For boo boo's!" Reaching and shoving them towards her to try and get her to take them. Then lightly poking her leg several times with different ranges of moments in between each poke. Blinking rather curiously and lightly blankly as well watching her. Curious about new friends and what they were all doing here anyway. "Kikik Keee Who you! Who you!" Inquiring for a name.

Conan smiled at the old-timer as he gave him a piece of fried meat. He was a little hungry. He sat down on the ground, pounding it a few times to make sure it was soft. "Thank you for the meat,um, Arlic, it's nice to meet you two. I should know the people who fought with me against those two androids." Conan said to the two of them as he bit a piece of meat off the meat. "It's been a long time since I've fought alongside another saiyan," he said quietly as he looked at Arlic. "Back on Planet Vegeta, people either fought me, or wrecked me." He took a breath. "Anyways, my turn to introduce myself. My name is Conan. And that's pretty much the basic thing you need to know about me." He then looked toward the saibaman and said, "Nice to meet you saiba." He was a little shaken upon noticing him, because during a training session, a saibaman almost killed Conan. He shuddered at that for a split-second and stopped. As the fire grew a little darker, Conan grabbed a stick off the ground and put it on the fire, making it bigger. "You're a good cook Arlic. I didn't know saiyans could train their cooking skills," Conan complimented as he took a large bite out of the fried meat. "Maybe one day if we meet again, you could teach me how to cook." He stretched out his arms and said to them both, "When you left me there, a arcosian who managed to scare both androids away. Which was terrifying." He wondered what power level that guy was at. "I shouldn't have thrown away my scouter," Conan muttered to himself as he finished the piece of meat in his hand. "Anyways, where do you two expect to go now?"" Conan asked them as he stretched out his legs.

Aiami laughed quietly at the saibaman's antics, from his continuing demonstration of his skill with a stringed instrument, to his insistence with his gifts. She took both the bandage and the stuffed animal, quite gratefully, with a smile on her face. "Thank you, for these and for your compliment... You said you were Midori Green, is that right?" She tilted her head before introducing herself and the others. While it was the second time today she was doing so, she didn't find it all that bothersome. In fact, she was glad to have the friendly company. "I am Aiami, this is Arlic." She nodded and gestured to each of them respectively, letting Conan introduce himself..
Untouched, she left the bandages cradled in her lap. She suspected Arlic would have more use for them and decided to save them for later. She did spend a moment inspecting the other gift, though. It was cute in its own way, and reminded her of something similar she had some time ago. She decided to hold it for now as she listend to Conan speak. When he had finished she looked to Arlic then back to Conan. "I understand Val intends on taking me to Lucia, and I suspect I will not be able to fight him on the matter." She smiled. "Though it does sound like a nice place, so I can hardly complain."
After nodding she fell silent, letting Arlic answer next. Meanwhile, Aiami's eyes drifted back to Mr. Green, something in the back of her tired mind turning. Something on him was familiar. She peered at him searchingly before her eyes widened and she let out a small gasp in realization. "Wait, that gi! Those are the colors of the Turtle School. Are you a student in the school?" She leaned forward, interested to hear everything from her new small, green friend. Thinking about it, her only small, green friend, really.

"Don't touch the berries, too easy mate." The Captain grunted; finishing his dishes with some more meat. Let the young'uns have their fun; he thought. Dark eyes looked each of them over; vaguely reminded of his team back when he worked for the Solar Empire. They were all gone now, the fires of war were a cruel crucible to the soft clay that was young souls. Metal hand tensed, as if sensing it's owners tension. Best not let these kids go the same way they did, eh old man? He thought to himself. Still, they were all laughing, smiling. Enjoying the meal. That was more then he could say he did at their age. If only I had known that you got stronger by being a good man; shaking his head softly. The Green wasn't an issue, if they lived long enough the odd aliens usually had their own path. And Aiami would grow up fine. Conan was what, half his age? And already on the right path. A grunt of approval came from his throat. Well you old raider, least you got three young folk to be friends.
Shaking his head clear of negative thoughts; he piled the steaming stir fry of meat and vegetables onto wide brimmed leaves to be used in replacement of actual plates. "Hope none of ye got an issue eating with your fingers." he teased as he walked from person to person. The nature made bowls were full of the thickly sliced greens, still steaming in small pools of broth made from fat and water boiling away. "Got some rock salt from the walls. And if anyone complains; I did wash my hands. Awhile ago at least." He flashed a toothy grin to put them at ease. They're young, what could a few germs do to harm them that the Saiyan Empire hadn't already? Once everyone had chow; he sat with a huff. Furry tail uncoiling from his waist and drawing a cigar from his tunic. Setting it between thin, scarred lips. Metal fingers snapped once, twice, three times to spark it to life. Taking a deep drag; before the fragrant smoke escaped out the corner of his mouth. He took a moment to let them eat before telling his plan. He was the strongest here, but asides from that the oldest. And he had a house.
"We be headin' to Little Lucia up in the mountains. My wife be there and'll set up a fine grub that'll but my backyard butchery to shame." And smack me for getting into more random fights, he added mentally. "Small mining town made of aliens that crashed here with me. Escaped slaves and what not." He waved a hand in vague story-telling motions. "Make our zenni by mining and lumber. Good, hard working folk. I be 'er Sheriff and Protector. And Serenity, me wife, be the mayor and doctor. Get any aches and pains fixed up; and some good grub in yer tum." he clapped his hands with a sly smile. "I just finished buildin' me house too. Simple lil logger, but we got enough rooms for ya all."
