Name: Swees
Alias: Many non-Universal curse words.
Species:
Kurimu-seijin (Alien C)
Gender: Male
Age: 13
Appearance:
Swees is short, lean, and green. His ruddy lime skin is covered in battle scars from a lifetime of fighting, and his dark green hair is usually cut at the neck. Dull red eyes peer out at his surroundings, and around his rightward eye is a swirling tattoo earned after his first bloodletting. Pointed and swept-back ears, quick movements, and a mischievous, fanged grin give him a goblin-like aura.
History:
Swees hatched in a gutter nest on an Adzuki war barge, Number Two Two Six, nick-named Two Toes for its hull number and because only two out of five of its engines worked properly. Many of his brood died within the first days of hatching, as his parents were scarce and food was scarcer, eking out an existence on the hostile fringe of the immense interstellar spacecraft. Swees had the good fortune of being hatched near one of the few lamps that dimly glowed in this sector of the ship, and so survived off its heat while he grew stronger. Over the months and years, his parents, through much bloodletting on bounty planets, were able to secure better lodgings towards the ship’s center for their surviving offspring. Swees shone among many as one of the more promising children of his brood’s generation, with a relatively high battle rating.
The war barge was as much a city as it was a vessel. Its captainship changed hands many times over the scant decade Swees lived in its bowels – to alien cartels, changeling governors, and even Saiyan warlords hoping to carve out a princedom in the loathsome and war-torn border regions. As such, the Kurimu-seijin vessel grew more and more crowded, swollen with countless foreign species all vying to make a profit.
As he grew past the combat age of five, Swees participated in his first battle, against a gang of bandits living outside of the captain’s rule in the ship’s boiling-hot water purifier plant. In those infrared-bathed rooms the little green boy drew first blood, quickly dispatching a starved Zoon-seijin with crippling blows to his carapace that rendered him unconscious. Instead of killing the incapacitated thug, Swees argued with his group commander to bring the Zoon-seijin in alive, which carried a higher price tag. The commander – a hulking Beppa-seijin teen named Grok -- was impressed by Swees’s viciousness in battle, and reluctantly agreed.
Heady with the spoils of his first battle, Swees left his parents’ lodgings early and fell in with Grok’s Gang, one of the up-and-coming bands of mercenaries and toughs-for-hire on Two Toes.
Though naturally gifted and trained by his parents, Swees learned to hone his martial arts and ki manipulation under the giant Beppa-seijin’s iron tutelage. Grok’s Gang became renown among Two Toes as a cutthroat band of thugs not to be crossed, and was often deployed by the ship’s captain where fighting was hottest or when need was greatest. Swees himself became a young but trusted lieutenant in the group, never shying away from a fight and always having a keen scent for money, two hallmarks of a good mercenary.
Things changed when Two Toes strayed too close to the Arcosian Capital Sector. The ship was surprised by a changeling fleet and seized by its ambitious, rogue commander in Wyntre’s Army who was unscrupulously seizing ships for personal profit on the murky edges of the Capital Sector. The changeling commander quickly killed the captain and crew, enslaved its populace, and took control through his own incredible might. Nearly all of Grok’s Gang was killed in the fast-paced, frantic fighting, but Grok and Swees both managed to survive the rout by fleeing to the unsupported and deadly edges of the ship and posing as dregs.
Though slow and plodding, the ship was seen as a great material resource to be drawn upon, and so was intentionally crashed on an icy moon to be mined to pieces by its former occupants.
While mining the wreck in that frozen hell, Grok and Swees were approached by the Arcosian commander. He revealed his name was Pael, had known all along who they were, and offered them both lucrative contracts to serve in his own mercenary force. The two instantly agreed.
And so it was that Swees left his family on that moon and trekked the stars, serving this taciturn yet wild Arcosian.
Many were his victories, and many were his defeats. Fighting at the bloody, ragged end of the banner for an ambitious Arcosian is no easy job. Swees’s name, grit, and guile became known among the veterans of these hushed and dark wars for underworld supremacy, and his battle prowess continued to grow and to shine. Grok began to hold a newfound loyalty and respect for his friend, too, after the little green man hauled his giant cohort away from a souring battle. Grok had been incapacitated and lost an eye from a foe’s lucky laser, and Swees had endangered himself to save the grizzly Beppa-seijin.
After that day Swees was placed on priority missions, often acting alone or at the head of a small team against the Arcosian Pael’s enemies. The young Kurimu-seijin mercenary is known to do moonlighting of his own – and judiciously accepts the highest bidder for his services.

Low-Rent Ray [N1]
Summoning a stingy amount of his chi, Swees delivers a translucent red beam from his modified arm cannon. A move he uses for cheapo clients that don't want to pay him barely any money. In a pinch or while in Cremelin form, he can fire it from his hands, but he prefers to use the cannon to focus his chi.
Retail Ray [UP2]
Summoning a great amount of his chi, Swees delivers a dazzling golden beam from his modified arm cannon. A move he uses in standard jobs with standard pay, when he doesn't want to break a nail or has better things to do. In a pinch or while in Cremelin form, he can fire it from his hands, but he prefers to use the cannon to focus his chi.
Payday Ray [MP3]
Summoning all the chi he can muster, Swees delivers a flashy and powerful, tight Zeni-green beam from his modified arm cannon. His signature move, he often deploys this against the toughest opposition and for his very best clients. In a pinch or while in Cremelin form, he can fire it from his hands, but he prefers to use the cannon to focus his chi.
Slime Spit [N1]
Having never used toothpaste or mouthwash in his life, and being born with innate acidic and viscous snot glands, Swees is able to gather up a gargantuan gob from his throat and spit it at his enemy! The disgusting ball of goo hits and burns for 33% of his PL.
