Vol. 1 - Chapter 4
Welcome, Warrior! The Saiyajin Home World: Planet Vegeta!
[ Thread PL: 3,951 ]
“APPROACHING PLANET VEGETA” the robotic voice housed within the Space Pod would exclaim to Kizuki, as the planet came into view. Kizuki would stare out of the circular window of the pod as it continued to rip through space, inching ever closer to his destination. The planet itself was of a reddish hue, Kizuki could determine, unlike his own home world which was more of a blue planet, yet smaller in size. Coal colored eyes would pick up some docked fighter ships near the planet, a sure sign of some sort of distress, Kizuki wondered what it could be? Regardless, it’d be safer to open up a communications link to one of the ships so they didn’t blast him out of the galaxy. “Open up communications with one of those ships.” Kizuki would demand of the pod’s computer, which began to do as it was told, immediately opening up a communication link to any of the ships who had their system set to open. Before Kizuki could speak, a voice came over the speaker of the pod which was not the robotic voice of his co-pilot. It was instead the voice of a living being, assuming it was that of a Saiyajin from the nearby planet. “This is Defender-2, this is Defender-2. Identify yourself.” Seems like there was something going on, though time had definitely passed Kizuki by so he could not be sure. Maybe beefed up, planet bordering security was a thing these days. In any case, the Saiyajin male would respond to the demand. “Defender-2, this is Kizuki of..” well, could he say where he was from? In all likelihood any data on his planet would’ve shown it had been destroyed about 2,000 years ago. “..Saiyajin descent. Seeking refuge on your planet, sustained minor injuries from inter-planetary excursion. Permission to land.” It would be a few moments before Kizuki heard a response. He knew at this point the ship was scanning his pod, checking the life form inside to determine if he truly was a Saiyajin. When they had their fill of spying on him, the previous voice would come back over the speaker once more. “We have scanned your pod and have confirmed you are, indeed, Saiyajin though our files cannot properly identify you. Where do you hail?” Kizuki’s right eyebrow would twitch at that question. Definitely war. No other reason for anyone to be this difficult. “Outside of this galaxy. I was conceived and born outside of this galaxy. Again, seeking refuge from minor injuries I have sustained. Permission to land.” His voice was a bit more gruff at that last response, against his better judgment. Annoyance took over, so he tried to keep his cool. “I was not born on Vegeta. Conceived and born outside of this galaxy entirely. Seeking refuge.. P-Please..” the last part was uttered through teeth clenched so tightly air could barely pass through. He waited a few more moments, before the voice returned and new coordinates were given to his pod. “Permission is granted. Sending coordinates for landing position now. If coordinates are not implemented within twenty seconds we WILL fire.” Well, fancy that. Kizuki would input the coordinates given to him, not feeling the pod move much in space, but there was definitely some rotation to aim it directly at where the ship’s communicator wanted him to go. He idly wondered what type of issues this planet was having, but it wasn’t like he was surprised. The Saiyajin WERE hunters of other worlds, and as the red planet came closer into view, and those docked ships were flown by, he just figured it was a byproduct of that lifestyle. In any case, the robotic voice that was his co-pilot would come over the speaker once more as he began to enter the planet’s atmosphere.
“ENTERING PLANET VEGETA ATMOSPHERE. PREPARE FOR LANDING.” The seats were made to react in a suction like manner once a pod entered the atmosphere of a planet. In doing so, it was assured that the occupant would not roll around during violent landings. This would prove to be one of them. The pod would begin to shake terribly, encountering a ton of turbulence during the descent. He was quite used to rough landings in these things, so his expression remained every grumpy as he violently shook inside that cockpit, but remained relatively grounded in his seat. The outside of that pod would begin to flare up, sparking as it ripped through the planet’s atmosphere, eventually being consumed in flame. The cockpit speaker went off again, his ship’s computer speaking to him again which caused Kizuki to arch a brow. “DAMAGE SUSTAINED, DAMAGE SUSTAINED. POD ARMOR DEPLETING, POD ARMOR DEPLETING.” A low growl would come deep from his throat. Those bastards. It seemed they repaired the ship to a certain extent, but not enough. The pod’s strength was literally frying away as it was consumed in flames, the exterior becoming charred and black, the fire’s heat entering the cockpit. The searing heat would cause beads of sweat to pop up on his face, sucking the oxygen out of the cockpit as well. Remaining as calm as possible, the landing area of his coordinates were obscured by the fire and smoke, but still viewable through the glass. Some sort of tall building was all he could see. The speaker crackled as the voice would come on, weakly, for the last time. “I-IM-CT IN.. 3.. 2..” the one never came, but Kizuki sure felt the impact of hitting that rubber like impact zone on the landing pad. The pod never stopped being on fire, it actually was ablaze even more so than before, metal charred up and blackened. The crew that stormed out to meet Kizuki was a mixture of soldiers holding weapons and soldiers holding fire extinguishing machines. Those that were able to would douse the burning pod in a solution that would instantly douse the flames, leaving it a burned out chunk of smoking metal. Those soldiers would back up; the ones holding weapons would step forward now. For a few moments, there was no sound, but eventually the loud banging inside the pod would get louder. Before long, the ruined door would come off the hinges and go flying back a bit, exposing a cockpit filled with smoke. The smoke would clear as a booted foot would step out from the hole, trying to pull himself out of the cockpit without using his hands, as the exterior was still incredible hot. Eventually, the 6’2” Saiyajin male would emerge fully on the landing pad, standing there in his battle worn bodysuit from his interactions on the previous planet, and covered in a bit of soot from the smoke and debris that entered the pod cockpit. Rifles were steadily aimed at him, Kizuki not moving even an inch, knowing better. They all seemed better equipped than his hosts on the previous planet. A few of them inspected the pod, looking at the interior covered in soot, the electronics sparking and smoking, not to mention the blackened charred exterior. “Pod looks completely destroyed on the inside.” One soldier would speak up, peeking inside the ruined cockpit. “Control panel, too.” Another soldier would say, inspecting the hatch door that was kicked off the hinges away from the pod, the control panel attached to it, a large hole in it. “Seems like an internal explosion.” A few more soldiers would approach, rifles still aimed at him. Kizuki could not see any Saiyajin among them, they all looked like some other humanoid race. Regardless he remained still and silent, eyes moving slowly to look around the group from time to time. Slowly, they’d lower the rifles aimed at him as another spoke. “We’ve gotten our briefing from Defender-2. Seems like you’re seeking refuge. We’re on a state of high alert. Empress Zucceta has gone to conquer the planet Earth, have you heard?” Kizuki had never even heard of Earth itself. “No. I had not heard. I’ve spent my entire life in another galaxy, I was lucky enough to find the coordinates to another Saiyajin home world.” He didn’t say another word, as the lead soldier nodded. “Right. Unfortunately, it’s going to be tough to let you just leave. We’ll have to check your pod for any possible information and run some data on you. We’ll escort you to the medical room in the meantime. Follow us.” A few soldiers would make their move after a motion by the lead to take Kizuki to the mentioned medical room. The brute Saiyajin would neither regard nor thank them for their “hospitality” as charred, booted feet began to walk along the landing pad, following them inside the building. One fist had opened up to let, what appeared to be dust, fall from his hand. The remnants of something. Looking around idly in the hallway, he noticed how up to date everything seemed. His planet was electronically advanced for his time, this seemed about the same, maybe some finer touches here and there. Without giving it much more thought, he was led into a brightly lit room, several types of medical equipment available, including a healing tank. One of the soldiers would motion to a seat in the room. “Feel free to have a seat while we check some things out. We’ll send the doc’ in when we’re done .. or not.” The soldier would offer a smirk, Kizuki didn’t seem to amused, though. Slowly, he’d take a seat where it was suggested. Kizuki thought back a bit to when the pod was on the landing dock. Before he kicked that door open, he had shoved his hand into the control panel to remove the “black box” mechanism in the control panel, the reason as to why there was a hole in the control panel. The recording mechanism was the size no bigger than a computer chip, yet able to hold tons of information in regards to anything that Space Pod had done. He had figured it would be best that they did not get the exact information about that pod, it was raise some eyebrows as to how a 2,000 year old vehicle landed in his hands. He looked into his palm, seeing nothing bust dust and soot in it. At this rate, the pod was so beat up beyond repair, they could never tell from what year it came from. He had lucked out.
In another sense, there was the little issue with his name. Before he could think too much of it, an armored creature came scurrying into the medical room. It seemed to be some bird-like species that he couldn’t quite put his finger on. In any case, it seemed like they didn’t deem him much of a threat if they sent the physician in, rather than more soldiers. “Well, hmm.. let’s see, here.” The squawking voice of the doctor would fill the room, a bit too loud for Kizuki’s tastes, as he flipped through a data pad, most likely all in regards to his newest “patient. “Seems like your Space Pod is completely totaled, hmm.. Couldn’t get anything of importance there. Does look like you were in quite a bit of trouble, though, as you said. And.. Kizuki, hmm. Odd name indeed, even by Saiyajin standards. Hmm. No records of that name on Planet Vegeta, hmm.” The “tick” of “hmm” that this doctor used was driving Kizuki mad, his right eye twitching a bit. Or maybe it was the anxiety he was feeling. “Well, you are a Saiyajin, that much is clear.” The avian-like doctor would slip the data pad away and shrug his shoulders. “Though, I have been instructed to not put you in the rejuvenation tank. It seems those are being reserved for members of the army only, hmm. Hmm, hmm.. Perhaps—“ Kizuki would come quickly to his feet, trying not to shout, but his voice did boom a bit taking the doctor aback a little. “Do not worry about my wounds. Some new clothing, perhaps some battle armor, will be all I require and I’ll be on my way.” He was even more intimidating due to the height difference between his 6’2” self and the diminutive doctor. “Th-That’s fine, Kizuki-san. I.. I’m sure I can get something for you.” Kizuki would wave him off, crossing his arms across his chest as he waited for his gear.
The doctor would return with a new battle suit, white boots and gloves, and a battle vest that he deemed “a very old model but all they could spare.” Kizuki shrugged, stripping down right there and changing into the fresh, undamaged clothes. The body suit stretched over his muscled form and was dark blue in color, extending down to his ankles and wrists. White boots slipped over his feet, and the white gloves, his least favorite, over his hands. The vest was all white, even the shoulder straps which were later styled into links similar to the extended shoulder guards. The midsection of the armor was a brown color. It all fit well enough, and provided enough support for him. The tail hole was made specifically for tails, so his sprouted from his back perfectly unlike the crude version he had given himself before. Slowly, it wrapped around his waist, nodding to the doctor. “I appreciate the hospitality so far.” “Yes, hmm, there are soldiers waiting for you in front of the building, through the entrance from where you came. They will escort you out. And, here..” the kind doctor would extend his hand, offering some currency to Kizuki, for whatever reason. “I am not as mistrusting as they are. This should be enough to get you a meal.” Kizuki would take the money, humbly, placing it on the inside of his vest. “Th- .. Thank you.” He was terrible at this sort of thing, and without any other word he had left the medical room, boots tapping against the ground, leading him outside to where a handful of soldiers waited for him.
“Kizuki-san,” one began “unfortunately, we are unable to house you here in Cacumber Capital. During this time of war, we need all the facilities open for any returning soldiers. Wounded or otherwise.” The soldier would point to the foot of the capital, in a more run-down looking area of the planet. “That is the Radittsu District. A bit over-crowded, but it’s your best bet at finding some shelter right now. Your pod is beyond repair, and we cannot waste any resources in even attempting to fix it. You can always purchase a new one but—“ Kizuki would hold his hand out as if to stop him from saying anymore. “I understand, soldier. You have done enough for me as it is.” Kizuki turned his attention to the area he was instructed to go in, before looking back to the soldier. “If you wish to send an escort after me, you may do so. I am capable of flight, just so you are aware.” Having enough energy at that moment, he would use his ki to hover a bit before blasting off and offering them a salute of a wave. His attention was then focused on the Radittsu District, where he would take refuge in, at least for now.

Summary: FINALLY! Kizuki has landed on the Saiyajin home world: Planet Vegeta! Although it was a rocky landing, Kizuki made out nearly unharmed. For fear of his .. odd .. and lengthy past being discovered, the recording / black box chip in the ship's control panel was destroyed, leaving no evidence as to where this mighty Saiyajin had come from! After a brief meeting in the medical bay, he was sent on his way to the less luxurious area surrounded the capital: the Radittsu District, where he would opt to find refuge on this new planet for the time being.
Looking for Zeni please, from the kind bird-doctor. :>
ALSO, you can remove the space pod from his items as it is used and completely destroyed.
