(Hey there! This is Bing Gan here, making another character. I know I've made a hefty amount of apps that never get off the drawing board, but this time I've completed a character for reals! I'd like to transfer all PL from Sage to this new character when he is approved, which I think will allow me to bypass making a BP? If that's the case I'd like to skip that part)

History:
Dr. Breech was at the ripe young age of 22 when he landed a job at Capsule Corp. Being that he was a distant relative of the family that founded the company, landing the job wasn't much trouble. He began as a lab assistant working under a man named Dr. Beekah. Dr. Beekah was a kind man, and he taught Breech just about everything he could on advanced robotics and capsule technology. They spent about 10 years working together, where they grew a strong friendship. Through determination and hard work, he slowly worked his way up to becoming the lead of his own research division.
The research team was made up of four people: Dr. Breech, his former mentor Dr. Beekah, an elderly man named Potas, and a lovely woman named Soufa.
His team started out with simple projects: creating new types of helpful robotics, and working on developing a new type of scouter system. Eventually, the team began work on an ambitious project; the extension of human life.
The reason for this sudden change in research was because of a question posed by Breech himself. "Why should our work be bound by the slow tick of time? If we could live forever, or even just a bit longer, we could easily perfect projects that would take entire lifetimes!" This sparked interest in his whole team, and they got to work. Of course, at the time there were many ways to extend a human's life span, cybernetic enhancements and implants and such, but Breech saw a vast amount of untapped potential.
Though research was slow, other things were going quite quickly. Breech had fallen in love with Soufa, and she, with him. They had a brief fling, and soon after Soufa learned she had become pregnant. Research had slowed even further because of this. Breech and Soufa were inseparable for those 9 months, but it seemed that fate had other plans for the couple.
Soon after their child's birth, Soufa fell deathly ill. It was a strange and rare disease that left the afflicted a frail husk of their former selves until they finally succumbed to the disease. It was a slow and painful process, and there seemed to be no way to cure it. Breech was determined to find some way to save his beloved, so he went into his lab to find a solution.
He went into recluse; ignoring his friends and family, while leaving his son to Beekah. Looking after a child was much too demanding when he had more pressing matters to attend to. Soufa didn't know how to feel in these pressing times. Her husband had gone into his lab and hardly ever came out, leaving her completely in the dark while she was being cared for by doctors. She’d asked co-workers to check in on him, but he would always tell them “Tell Soufa not to worry, I’m getting closer by the day.”
Breech was so absorbed in perfecting his life-extending work, he didn't even get word of his wife's death until a year after she’d passed.
Rather than quell his desire to complete his work, the news of Soufa’s death fueled it immensely. He requested possession of Soufa’s remains so he may preserve her beauty; though that wasn’t his only intention. He hastened his research to the best of his ability, trying to find some way to bring her back.
In his early 50s, he finally exited his lab, as he was obligated to show his progress to the company. They had given him ample time to show progress, and with the looming threat of his funding being cut, he had to show them something. He began work on an experiment using a live human being as the subject: Potas. At the time of the operation, Potas was nearing 90 years old, barely able to function anymore. Potas opted into being the “guinea pig”, for it was his only way to continue living in an able body. Breech attempted to remove Potas' brain and transport it into a fully robotic body of his own creation. Sadly however, the experiment was a catastrophic failure due to one variable: Age.
Dr. Breech was the one handling the incision, and his time-worn hands made a single mistake. His mistake killed Potas. Though most were outraged, his closest colleague, Beekah, was empathetic. He had warned Breech of the risks that performing the operation himself might bring, but he just didn't listen.
Dr. Breech was immediately fired, and his work was stricken from all records. He would have been arrested as well, but thanks to assistance from Beekah, he eluded the authorities and was able to escape to the distant frozen north. Bringing only his beloved’s remains with him.
He discreetly poured all of his remaining funding and life savings into building a remote lab, deep in the Gizard Wastelands, hidden in the side of a mountain. From here he could work without fear of being interrupted, as he was hundreds of miles away from anyone who even knew his name.
It took many years of fruitless research, but he was eventually able to perfect the creation of a mechanized body. It looked nearly identical to himself a few years before, with a few improvements of course.
After his new body was complete, he dedicated his life to a new cause: bringing back Soufa.
It took him a while, but he finally finished the machine that would reconstruct Soufa’s body. However there was one pressing issue. Breech could replicate her body and brain right down to the cell, but… how would he know if what he created would be… her? He couldn’t reproduce her soul, her personality, her experiences; all the things that made Soufa who she was as an individual. The thought plagued him, it burrowed into the depths of his mind, telling his side of logic and reasoning it wouldn’t work; it couldn’t. This was a fact he knew very well, but the yearning inside him forced him to try. He pulled his hand down, the lever gave off a harrowing ‘clink’ as it settled into position.
A flash. A blazingly bright flash blinded him, engulfing his lower half as it flung him back violently. Breech was left lying on his back on the far end of the room, an immense pain flared up wherever the deafening blast had reached him. He tried to move his legs, but didn’t feel them give any kind of feedback, not even pain. The pain, however, increased tenfold in his abdomen. He shrieked out in response to the horrible sensation and writhed in place; his left hand sweeping across a large puddle of liquid, while his right gave off the same nullness his legs had. The maimed doctor dared not look down in fear of what he would find. He called out for his robot assistant through gritted teeth, who quickly obliged. Breech wheezed out a commanded to his mechanized servant to activate ‘Protocol #15’ before going completely limp. His vision darkened though he hadn't closed his eyes. He barely felt the assistant’s blade as it pierced his cranium.
Breech awoke with a jolt and immediately bursted through the pod that had contained him. His mind rushed as fast as he did, hoping the inevitable hadn’t happened. He came to a stop in front of what used to be the restoration machine. The remains of the machine were drenched in remains of another kind: Soufa’s.
The mere sight of yet another failed attempt finally broke him. Were it not for his new robotic form, he might have given up on life entirely. It had affected his mental state, it amplified his obsessive tendencies and made him approach everything with a certain numbness. He scowled at the scene before him and turned his back on it, labelling it as yet another failure.
The now robotic Dr. Breech turned his attention to his new form. He had become himself, only better. His agility, his strength, even his intelligence; all of it was amplified by merely existing in this new body.
It was perfect...almost. He was strong, yes, but he knew he could become stronger. He would need to do some field tests in order to see just how far he could push the boundaries of this vessel. If this body proved it’s worth, he would seek to share his gift with the universe. With a quick voice command, the portion of the mountain that acted as his lab’s front door split apart. For the first time in years, he stepped into the frozen wasteland that awaited him...
