Name: David Emmeric
Aliases: God Reaper, Darkus
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Appearance:
Darkus stands tall at 6'5". On his person he wears a large black trench coat built to take blasts. This coat is usually worn closed. Under it is a skin-tight black shirt and slightly-looser black pants. Darkus has multiple belts and straps carrying equipment. Ranging from smoke grenades, daggers, and various other devices one would need in dealing with people you can't face in a Strength match. These are his work clothes though, as his typical street clothes are lighter colors. A tan-grey collar shirt and blue jeans. He goes into these clothes under the identity of David Emmerich, his real name.
His dark blue eyes are set dull in his skull, calculative. Black straight hair cut short and not particularly groomed in any way. His facial detailing is sharp. Darkus has a well kept physical body capable of speed, power, and flexibility. He has a few scars crossing his back and chest, but rarely would they show.
Personality:
A human being who was once filled with color and emotion turned stoic and apathetic towards those he sees as threats. Darkus can be cold and rude, sometimes making it a point to be so. He's more quiet than anything though, which lends to his stealthy nature. He's stubborn in his beliefs and finds it hard to negotiate with others, tending to do things his way rather than the suggested way. Even people far closer to him would find it hard to steer him away from a goal.
In saying that, he's fearless and very determined as well. Never one to back down from a dangerous attempt if it means he can save the common people. He's a leader in the sense he can lead himself, but he's not someone who would work well with others. Especially those of different species, as his life had taught him how bad most can be. While on that, he vehemently hates people who use power for any wrong doing, killing being the main thing. it doesn't matter to him whether you are an otherwise nice person or not, he'll come for you.
His disguise, his former self as David Emmerich, is much different. Easily embarrassed, anxious about half the time, and more friendly than any neighbor you could possibly have or wish for. In truth, this is probably what he wants to be in the end, but he's smart enough to realize this way was not going to work. Thus, this mostly becoming a disguise for him to blend in with the populace should he need to.
History:
This is a simple read.
Starting Planet: Earth
Techniques:
Offensive
[N1] Jetson: Pushing power into any small object, he can send it flying at incredible speeds and power. His daggers are the main weapons he uses for this power, but it can be anything small. When he is influencing something, a slight hint of red seems to emanate from the said item.
Support
[SU] Ki Sense: Darkus can sense the energies of others around him.
[SU] Ki Suppression: Darkus can also, almost innately, lower himself to very low levels of ki output.
[SU] Demon's Eye: Darkus can become extremely aware of his surroundings. This mostly means he can take in more detail and realize details he would normally pass up with sight. It also allows for greater focus and reaction times. It's an activated phenomenon, and while in use his irises turn a bright red. By now he knows how to activate it with ease.
Since he is not a demon however its use is limited. Putting no physical stress on the user, but instead messes with the mind. In small doses it really does nothing, but more moderately timely uses can cause lose of thought, confusion, and disorientation. More severe, prolonged use can cause hallucinations and mental breakdown. If the mind and body are healthy enough most of these will only be temporal or never occur in the first place, but extremely long use may cause permanent damage to the brain and can lead to lose of bodily functions and thought processes.
[SU] Mind Retention: Darkus has built up a tolerance against mind control, illusions, and attacks directed at the mind due to his use of Demon's Eye and the mental meditation he puts in his training. He can usually keep trickery at bay long enough to get out of range of the mind attacks, but this isn't always the case.

History:
This is a simple read.
Darkus was born David Emmerich to his two parents Helen and Joseph. The family was, all around, pretty normal considering the Galaxy he lived in. His fraternal twin, Emilia, would also join be born minutes later. They both shared similar hobbies and seemed to take to each other very well for siblings. So most of his early life would be boring and trivial.
Helen and Joseph were, above else, very supportive of the two kids and did what they could as parents. What any human parents would do anyways. It was probably a little too much like the family-friendly, everyone loves each other in the end sort of thing you’d see on T.V. It would last him till his teen years… Then…
His parents perished in a skirmish between two feuding aliens just outside their home. The backlash of the event put the two newly orphaned kids in distress. Soon to be taken under the wing of his dad’s best friend, Gustavo Kliet. The twins would not take to this man lightly for a year as he wasn’t much of a family man. Unlike that of their parents Gus seemed to care little for their academia. Some days he wouldn't even come home from his work until late night.
At the age of sixteen David and Emilia were finally introduced to this job of his under the premise that they don't talk about it. He was a trainer for the Counter Destruction Initiative, or C.D.I. for short. A black group within the earthling military branch that little talked about. It was a convoluted matter, so the two twins decided to ask more about. Curious. Emilia took to the idea fairly well and asked if she could join it. Gus had technically just retired from the whole agency but sure enough introduced her. It would be their sibling bond that would eventually drag David away from his studies to participate with her.
Being young, the two would have to go through years of training. These things would vary from hard physical training to calming of the mind and focus to operative and agency protocols. The C.D.I. took it slow and the two twins took to it with relative ease. Of the two though it was Emilia who aspired more and progressed faster. By request the two were put in the same squad and trained under a man who David would find good company with. Squal Jeets, the replacement trainer for Gustavo.
Hitting legal adulthood the two twins would be able then to properly engage in agency missions. The first few were small and easy, mostly to ease them into the work. Then the hits and more... Aggressive calls were made. On one fateful mission out in North Capitol, his sister was called on to take down a warlord pulling his weight around the city. Against all positive odds, a trap was placed and executed that crippled Emilia. Darkus was also in a bad spot to be killed at, and it forced Squal to pull the two of them out.
A hospital ride back revealed that Emilia had her brain fried to a deadly point. She was capable of little speech and motor movement of the mouth and eyes, but beyond that was too much. She pleaded 'no' as the doctors suggested pulling the plug, which would have been the humane thing to do, but David allowed his sister the choice to stay alive. He from then on made a promise to somehow make her life better. Easier.
David fell into chronic depression and drank himself to sleep for months. Gus would berate him and taunt him while he was being a drunkard, but let it be as he could relate. David cursed the world and the people who put Emilia in so much pain. He nearly left the C.D.I. after that mission but was eventually talked out of it by Squal. And during the leaving days of his depression he just wanted to do something about this all... Emilia was the obvious expert at fighting, not him. Why must it have been her? Self-loathing was thrown under the bed once Fei Fei entered his life though.
This pink-haired demoness was a saint among demons. Lazy, pompous, and wholly perverted in all definitions of the word. But most of all she was bored. Being so, the demon offered David power and aid in exchange for something simple. Return the favors. Fei wanted it to be a fun game of sorts, among a man who had just been broken. David thought the whole thing was a silly ruse and accepted. Then he realized he had gifts he didn't have previously, prompting Fei to teach him what to do with these new things. Albeit, she more just told him what to do rather than instruct him.
Once out of depression his whole demeanor changed. He was more determined, and vicious. Unlike the previous book nerd who was passive and wanting to get along with everyone. Passionate about his training and his promise he was going to keep to his sister. That year in the C.D.I. he learned more than the previous three combined. Soon he would outclass people far more experienced and trained, part in due to his new found power. He also seemed less able to cooperate with his comrades and constantly insisted it was his fight. Otherwise, it seemed he was doing very well and getting paid nicely. Visiting and paying for Emilia's care and comfort.
His last mission in the C.D.I. would change him yet again. A mission in a town located in the middle plains of Earth would earn him the lose of Squal in a barely passable and extremely public assassination of an alien mobster. From his parents, to her sister, and now down to his mentor. Dangerous work it was, but he wasn't willing to accept the fact it was by design that missions like that are high risk. He breaks away still from his life as David Emmerich and took on a new identity: Darkus. Code named in the C.D.I. as the God Reaper.
He soon then quit the agency and fell quickly on his ass in money problems. Not being helped by his appetite or his want to help Emmelia. He now takes life into his own hand, working as a waiter by day and self-cleanser of the world by... whatever other time he had. Pay or not. Gus is there still, a man in his rough fifties now, to keep him company and oversee his personal training as he strives for more. Fei Fei resides in his house to supervise actions and help him with his job. Darkus moved his monthly hospital visits to Emilia to weekly, checking up on her and constantly, perhaps naively, wishing she got better.
