For a few tense moments there is a standoff between the two warriors. Kahr weighs their options carefully; whether they should continue to fight, try to address the Half-Saiyan’s complaints, or just cut their losses. In the end, there is only one decision they can rightfully make; after the way everything has gone, the call is clear.
“No, I think I am done here.”
Kahr shrugged their shoulders lightly after making the announcement, but they did feel compelled to at least offer something of an explanation for the decision to call the matter closed before any more blood was shed. “I apologized for offending you. The ‘trick’ came after you tried to sexually assault me, so… I will not apologize for that, and I am not going to beg you to part ways as friends. If you would rather part ways with bad blood between us…”
There’s a faint shrug from the Bio-Android, the smallest movement of their shoulders, and they begin to rise into the air. They are smart enough to keep their eyes on Jarvis, in case he decided to attack again, but really, Kahr has no real wish to draw this out any longer. They’d have to chalk this one up as a loss, but they’d still be getting out of there in better shape than they had anticipated they might – and next time, they’d have more of an idea of what they were getting into. They’d really have to up their training if they wanted to meet Jarvis on equal terms again. Thankfully, they already had some ideas in mind as to how to do that… and a notion of how they might be able to counteract that spear technique the next time it came into play.
“Let us just say that I have had a taste of what you can offer, and in future, I will be more careful not to bite off more than I can chew.”
There was an honest-to-God smirk on Kahr’s lips as they say that, tongue peeking out as they recall the taste of the Half-Saiyan’s blood. They could still taste it lingering within them, and it was some small balm to the beating they had taken. Jarvis’ flesh HAD tasted rather good – disturbingly so, really. They’d only ever had human meat before, Saiyan (or… partly-Saiyan at least) was a richer flavour, a more gamey taste with a tougher texture that really, mn! They’d have to work hard to keep the desire for more out of their head in the near future, that was for sure.
Assuming that Jarvis wasn’t intent on following them, Kahr takes it fairly slow until they get to the height of the rooftops. After that, they accelerate away at a far greater speed whilst simultaneously doing all they could do drop their power level back down. They were far, far too tired to deal with any more unpleasant surprises tonight. All they really wanted to do was get back to base, and get a good night’s rest.
They could sort out the report in the morning. When they’d had at least some time to think on how to spin ‘I got my body brutally mutilated and got nothing to show for it but a new name to add to our enemies roster’ into something positive.
Maybe they could claim this was vital intelligence? Jarvis probably wasn’t ACTUALLY a planetary threat… but they had expressed distaste for Blue Banner Army authority. It probably wouldn’t hurt to get someone to help track the guy down and show him why it was a bad idea to make claims like that without allies to hand to help you watch your back…
