((Warning before you read the thread. This is an idea that was made sometime at night between me and Liang and we dragged Cipher in. Below is a photoshoot of buff men. You have been warned. I have no clue how this is going to end, but it's probably going to be funny. To the people in this thread, we still have to keep it PG13, just a friendly reminder. So yeah. Here it is Cipher 24 and Liang))
Kaula sighed as she moved stepped along the sidewalk, the human named "Nina" was simply next to her. And, unlike the hybrid's grumbling and angry.. Pretty much all around negative attitude.. Nina was more chipper. "So why are we out here again..?" the Saiyan hybrid asked in a grumble as she adjusted her sunglasses. The human looked down, chuckling, "We're scouting. We need more people for the off-shoot magazine." which made Kaula roll her eyes, "Puh-lease. Men are all.. Gross and stuff. Why can't we go for just more women. Not sure why we need.. Bleh.. Men." she grumbled. Kaula's negative attitude just made the photographer chuckle more, reaching over to pat the short Saiyan's head. "Sure. You think that. But did you know this interesting concept?" Kaula blinked and looked up to her, "What..? Explain this." "Oh yeah." Nina continued, "It's this concept that not everyone is like you, and they all have different thoughts and likes. You know? Pretty interesting, right? I think it is." she said, starting to laugh some more, which just made Kaula become more of a grump. "I still think it's stupid." "I know you do.." "How many do we need, anyway..?" Nina paused to bring a finger up to her chin, Kaula stopping a bit ahead of her to glance back at her as the human was simply trying to think at what was already shot. "We need a few more men to fill out some of the pages. Probably two, at the least. We already got some of the men at the fire department, so that's out." Nina said, shrugging lightly, "So.. We're just.. Walking around? Hoping to find someone?" ".. Yup. That's the plan. Duh." "Sounds like we're just wasting time." "Kinda also the plan. Maybe we'll get lucky." They both sorta giggled at that. Kaula was fine with wasting their time. She soon paused before she made notice of a restaurant nearby. A restaurant that wasn't McBaos. "Wanna take a break to eat?" she asked, thumbing her way towards the place. ".. Sure. Might as well." Nina replied as they stepped towards, then into the building. Nina first scanned the building to see if there was any potential canidates for the magazine, though she doubted it. They were soon seated, Kaula sighing as she went to stretch. Of course, they finished their food in some time. Kaula had made a whole deal about the how long it took for her food to get to her. So, of course, by time they were outside, the short Saiyan seemed to be making a huge deal about the place. "The food sucked and it took forever!" "I-" "And that person was rude! Why'd you leave a tip!?" "Be-" Kaula again cut her off, the short Saiyan, of course, making a scene outside the restaurant.. Oh boy. ((Sorry for the short start post. x3)) Kaula - 14af1b Nina - 4614af

It was proving to be a nice day. The weather was just right, the people were in a good mood, and Cipher and Porsalynne were strolling down the street. Though this wasn't just a simple stroll. They were on a mission. Or at least, Porsalynne was. The female android had developed quite a talent with needle and thread, and so had gotten the idea of opening a dress shop in Avalon. Since the two were planning to make the floating island their home, it only made sense. As the two walked, Porsalynne was looking for supplies for her new, flourishing business. She had managed to acquire a vacant building, and they were well in progress to setting the place up. She just needed fabric and supplies in order to work her craft.
As she was scouting out the street, Cipher was walking by her side, carrying large bolts of fabric, various tools, and other supplies the android had purchased. It was quite a sight, seeing the pale android carrying the massive amounts without any issue, drawing the eyes of the citizens. Cipher was used to being stare at, at least it wasn't because of his appearance this time.
"The food sucked and it took forever!" "I-" "And that person was rude! Why'd you leave a tip!?" "Be-"
The two androids paused and blinked at the commotion. Not that far ahead of them, outside a restaurant, were two women, one of which was ranting and raging, while the other seemed to try and calm her down. The pair instantly recognised the angry one, the Saiyan woman they had met earlier. Cipher tried not to groan. He hadn't had much luck when it came to interacting with Saiyans. Almost every one he had met had wanted to beat him into the floor for nothing more than their egos. Looking at this one in particular caused him to remember the incident with the fliers. He kept remembering the seeing her in that skimpy neko outfit. Porsalynne was giving the second woman a sympathetic look. The poor dear must be so embarrassed.
Quietly, the two approached them, Porsalynne stepping forward. "Is everything alright?" Cipher asked. Though he didn't want to get involved, there was that part of him that felt he should do something to preserve the peace of this place, even if he had a bad feeling it was going to get worse before it got better.

After so much work being done outside of his comfort zone lately (the security job came to mind immediately), a warrior could work up an appetite; and an appetite did he have. Willing to spend some zenni on a nice, hot meal, Liang had decided to go to his favorite South City ramen shop. Walking among the many faces who had slowly started to become familiar again, he found himself able to relax within the crowd for once in a very long while. He'd left his Blue Banner uniform at home; today was a day of comfort and rest after all of his hard work. Wearing a pair of loose jeans with a leather belt, a pair of casual sneakers and a muscle shirt with a vest along with a pair of sunglasses resting atop his head, his apparel made the mission for the day easy to figure out; be lazy, and eat food. Ridden with guilt, he shuffled his way up to the ramen booth and occupied a stool next to an elderly lady and what was presumably her grandchild. The owner and head cook immediately recognized him and hurried over, knowing he was here to spend money on a luxurious meal. The man eagerly awaited his order with a notepad to jot down the specifics. ''Shio ramen! Heavy on the chicken and fish, please. Add some mushrooms too, oh, oh! You know how much I love steamed broccoli and carrots. Add those too.'' With an excited stare that bordered on euphoria as he jotted down the notes at the speed of light, the cook piped up. ''I know you're gonna want some dessert with that!'' ''Damn right I want some dessert with that! Three orders of Dango, and some sweet tea to wash it all down!''
With a shared, excited glare, the cook raced off to the kitchen to get started on the huge meal. The Tiger's stomach was grumbling in excitement already; his mouth watered at his personal take on protein-rich ramen, and he grasped a pair of chopsticks eagerly and clicked them together as the fingers on his free hand drummed excitedly on the counter. The elderly woman looked offended, while her grandson looked nothing short of impressed. Just at that moment, a particularly rotund human sat down alongside him. ''I'll have what he's having! Nobody beats my order and gets away with it!'' ''You're playing with fire, but I accept the challenge! An eating contest it is!'' Drumming his fingers and chopsticks on the table eagerly, he shared a competitive glare with the husky individual to his right. This was his favorite ramen shop; there's no way in hell he'd be outdone by some upstart! Smelling the fumes from his food cooking to perfection, his mouth began to water eagerly. It'd been so long since he'd had a proper meal outside of the Banner's mess hall. Before long, the cook rushed over in a hurry to slide his dish and the circumference-adorned gentleman near him their delectable meals. ''On your mark...'' Liang grinned eagerly. ''Ichi!'' He readied his chopsticks. ''Ni!'' He dipped them into the bowl, grasping a chunk of noodles and meat. ''SAN!'' Shoveling a mouthful, he chewed at an overly-aggressive pace, much to the disgust of the grandmother. The rotund man beside him followed suit.
The bowl clicking beneath the stress of the starved Tiger, he shoveled down mouthful after mouthful. ''Umm! By-thuh-way, some steam'd rice!'' He gasped out between chewing. ''Me doo! Can' 'ave a goo' meal wid'ou rice!'' The chubby man choked out. Within moments, the order was delivered, and both poured the rice into their ramen in unison. ''Soy sauce!'' The cook knew better than to not deliver it to them both. ''Yer' takin' duh bill if y'lose!'' ''Same d'you, chump!'' Chowing down like animals, the clicking began settling into a unified, attention-attracting annoying noise as the two raced to gulp down their massive amounts of food. ''Gettin' fuh yet!?'' ''Not uh chance!'' The barbaric scarfing of what was probably most of the poor cook's stock of foodstuff continued, and it wasn't even time for desert. Peeking over his shoulder as he took the lead, Liang noticed...
HER.
Taking a huge, painful gulp that furthered his lead, he maintained his focus as he stared at the fiery hellcat and her companion. He was relieved as could be to see Cipher, but his current contest took precedence and then some. His stress from seeing the anger-prone, short ball of fury and hair fueling his chow-down, he started to leave the fat man in the dust. Finishing his bowl of ramen and gently bopping it aside, he tapped his chopsticks down before returning them to the bowl. ''Dango, dango dango!'' The cook nodded eagerly and delivered the order post-haste. Chubby on the other hand was only about halfway through his bowl, and looked entirely insulted by the ordeal. Lifting the first stick and freeing it all at once, his cheeks puffed up like a chipmunk as he chewed feverishly.
''Free food, here I come!''

Kaula had been set on causing a scene. She was about to keep yelling, however, that was when Cipher spoke up. Kaula paused. She simply stared for a few moments. He seemed.. Familiar, that's for sure. The Saiyan girl opened her mouth, ready to speak her mind, but Nina thwacked her. It was daring for a human who was so much weaker then her. "We're fine. She's just having a little outburst. She got a bit upset because the food wasn't to her liking. You know, Saiyan temper and all that." the woman explained, patting the Saiyan girl on her head. Kaula grumbled out loudly. "Hi." the human said, holding a hand out for the couple, "My name is Nina. I'm a photographer and I.." she paused as she glanced down to Kaula, "I take pictures and work with Kaula, here." she explained, nodding slowly. At least she didn't go into too much detail.
Kaula turned away in a grumble her eyes going wide as she noticed someone. Oh geeze. It was him. HIM. She'd know that pervert if she ever saw him again. She just stared at Liang, however. Not yelling.. Yet.
Nina, however, would pat Kaula on the head some as she noticed the fabric. "Oh. So. Does someone here make clothing? Maybe you guys could make something to get this one here to wear a decent dress. That would be an amusing site." the woman said, giggling a bit. This, however, only made the Saiyan with a lot of tomboyish tendencies to turn her head to glare at her. "Hey. I'd.. Probably wear a dress. If I liked it.." she grumbled as she crossed her arms, returning her emerald orbs to go back to glaring at Liang.

Cipher gave a small nod of understanding. He knew all too well how Saiyan's tempers ran high. And so did their egos. Thankfully Kaula didn't seemt to be as violance happy as the others he had encountered. When Nina introduced herself as a photographer, he tried to keep the discomfort from his face. He didn't want to give away the fact that he had seen one of those photos she had taken of her. No sense in bringing up the little matter a few nights ago. "I am Cipher 24, officer of the Blue Banner Army, and one of the Knights of Avalon." He gave the pair a respectful bow, before presenting Porsalynne, "And this is Porsalynne." The female android smiled, giving a small wave. "A pleasure to meet you."
When Nina mentioned something about making a dress, Porsalynne smiled brightly. "Well, I've built up a bit of a talent with sewing myself. I'm planning on opening a dress shop on Avalon. We were actually getting supplies right now." She looked over at Kaula, eyeing her up and down. "I think I can make something for her. Yes. I'm absolutely positive I can. Maybe she could even model it in one of your magazines." She gave a slight squeal at the idea. Imagine the advertising!
Meanwhile, Cipher had picked up another power signature nearby. His eyes followed Kaula's as they saw the same thing. Liang. He remembered Kaula's reaction to Liang earlier. He wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. It was seem like Cipher was going to have to play diplomat again.

A clanking of dishes served as the sound of victory as Liang chuckled, patting his stomach and leaning back in his seat. He chugged down the remains of his tea happily, but the man next to him looked simply stunned; he definitely had room for the food, but where did Liang put it all? The portly gentleman found himself wondering exactly how his opponent could put so much away in so short of a time compared to him while covered in muscle instead of fat. Li patted his adversary on the back as the cook passed the man the bill for both meals. ''Hey, don't sweat it too much. You were really close! You might have me next time. I come around here a lot, so if you want to challenge me some other time down the road, don't be shy. Regardless of the outcome, next round's on me.'' They shared a smile before Li re-affixed his travel bag to his shoulder before looking to the cook. ''Thank you for the meal. It was out of this world, as always! I gotta run though, see you next time!'' With a respectful bow he tightened the strap of his bag and set off walking, hoping the Saiyan harpy wouldn't flag him down in the middle of the street and start shouting. While at first he was headed away from the group, he all of the sudden realized as he looked down the way upon the streak of shops and stores that he'd actually completed all of his errands for today; he wanted to say hello to Cipher and Porsalynne, but that meant getting near the furious hairball. He sighed almost in defeated fashion as he turned on his heel and threw on his best game face. He couldn't just leave without saying hello to his friend, after all.
It wasn't common they caught each other outside of the base, which is mostly what drove his motivation to go share a bit of small talk. Keeping his chin up, he slid his free hand into his pocket while keeping the other tight on the strap of the bag on his back. Blending into the crowd, he made it to the other side of a cross walk before turning from the corner and heading down to the group of people. He began to get nervous as he approached, not knowing what to make of being this close to the hellcat Saiyan; did she have a personal bubble when it came to him, where she'd lash out in a flurry of insults and nails? Or was she going to harpy him away and drop him through a building or something? He knew about her explosive anger, but he crept up anyways. Greeting Cipher and Porsalynne from afar where he could accurately gauge the likelihood of a verbal artillery strike, he smiled genuinely at the pair as he slowly made his way closer. ''Cipher, Porsalynne! Good to see you two out and about! What's got you guys running around today?'' His hair pulled back and tied into a stubby tail to keep it under control with the light breeze, his bangs were kept under control by the sunglasses on his head.
Now that he'd made his introduction, it would be kind of rude not to say something to the Saiyan and her friend. He turned to them both. ''And hello to you two also. Cipher and Porsalynne are great friends of mine! My name's Liang, nice to meet you.'' It couldn't hurt to extend an olive branch or anything, right? He realized before he'd spoke that the Saiyan had never learned his name, and he hadn't learned of hers either. They were way too busy debating about who's awesome island that was (it was his), before she exploded in fury and took off. He looked to Kaula, now. ''Sorry for...well, you know. I was acting like a jerk.'' He'd apologize more formally later, but right now he didn't want to ruin the social gathering with his apologetic mumbling. ''So, just out for a short (''shit! I said it!) bit of shopping? I've only really seen small (''SHIT! I SAID IT AGAIN!'') deals around, nothing to get excited about so far. All my errands are done for the day though, so anything I buy now is just impulse. What are you all up to?''

Kaula blinked when she had heard about Cipher's name. Now she remembered, the talk she had with Tokoz before she and him had trained. She knew who this one was. The Saiyan Hybrid's head turned to stare at him. Just stare at him. Was she going to get mad? Shout? Something else? The pause was unbearable! However, eventually she spoke. "Thanks for trying to explain.. Things to Tokoz." she said, glancing back to glare at Liang again. "He didn't understand. Thought it was racist stuff against cat aliens. But thanks for helping in.. Taking it down." she grumbled softly. Nina blinked, a bit confused over that, but she'd just shrug at it a little bit before she looked back to Porsalynne, chuckling at the suggestion. "That would be nice. But.." she went to pat at Kaula's head some, "This one was impossible to get in a dress for the first photo shoot. We seriously spent, like, two hours trying to get her in that maid costume." Nina stated, which got a grumble from Kaula. Something about her thinking dresses being impractical or something.
However.. Liang decided to risk his life by approaching the group! Kaula focused straight on him, just staring. She seemed pissed!! Oh no! It could be bad! She could cause another scene! However, more head pats from Nina seemed to calm her down. The photographer friend would hold her hand out to Liang. "Hello, nice to meet you. Seems my friend here already knows you. But I'm Nina." she said happily.
Kaula, however, just seemed to remain a grump as Liang spoke. She didn't care too much. However her eye twitched at the word 'short'. Was he insulting her!? Her eye twitched again! He said small! SMALL! He was SO INSULTING HER! She growled, tempted to hit him.. However, she remembered where she was. She was on Avalon right now. She haaaad to be nice. With a grumble, Kaula crossed her arms, "Fine. Apology.. Accepted.." she mumbled out. Nina seemed to smile a little bit at that, inspecting Liang as she did. "Well." she said, hearing he had nothing else to do, "If you have nothing else to do, then we are looking for some more models who wouldn't mind having pictures taken of them for our magazine? We need a couple more men. That's what me and Kaula-" she patted a the Saiyan's head, "-were out exploring for. Granted.. I'm not sure if you know the type of magazine.. We are talking about."

Cipher was a little surprised. She knew? Guess Tokoz had told her what had happened. Well, at least she wasn't angry about it. They had managed to remove the fliers before any real harm was caused. Meanwhile, Porsalynne gave a challenging smile. "Well, I think I can," she said, looking over the Saiyan with a critical eye, "Just because a girl is strong doesn't mean she can't have class as well. I bet I can cook up something she'd like."
And then Liang arrived, more greeting Cipher and Porsalynne than anything else, but he certainly got the Saiyan's attention. Cipher thought that a massive fight was about to break out, with the expressions that flashed on her face briefly before giving a reluctant...apology? There must be something strange in the air today affecting Saiyans, because this was not how he was picturing things would go at all. Then again, he didn't know the Saiyan woman very well. It wasn't fair to make assumptions based on a few.
It was then that Nina mentioned something about looking for men for a photoshoot. Porsalynne's eyes snapped open and before Cipher could say anything, he noticed that his girlfriend was pointing right at him. And not just regular pointing either. Pointing with such intensity that you would have had to notice, even if a word wasn't spoken.
It was only her words that finally hit the message home for Cipher.
"I've got a man for you, right here."
Cipher froze. Him? In a photoshoot? Then he remembered the pictures of the Saiyan girl in the cat outfit. This was that same magazine. Were they going to put him in something as rediculous as that!? If it were even possible, Cipher seemed to go even paler.

Well, that was certainly a relief. He figured the Saiyan harpy would go off like an active volcano upon even hearing the first of the words to come out of his mouth, but maybe somewhere deep down she had a rational side kept under maximum security after all! The signs of relief were clearly visible, Liang's posture softening and relaxing as he let out a small puff of air from a held breath. He smiled as the accomplice to the Saiyan woman extended a friendly hand with a smile, and he gently though eagerly shook it. ''A pleasure to meet you, Nina! You can call me Liang. I've met your friend once before but it's been quite a while since i've seen her.'' Could he have helped it, that quite a while would have been voluntarily stretched to a longer ''quite a while''. Not that he disliked being around the Saiyan, but more for the fact he liked his face to be as crater-free as possible in any given moment. He noticed Nina inspecting him a bit and his posture sneakily adopted a more showy form, doing wonders for his ego as he stood up straight. Right before he was going to make a witty comment, he held his words as she changed the subject to what they were out and about to do. He listened carefully to what seemed like a proposition, the gears turning in his head as he tried to decipher precisely what it was she meant by the type of magazine. Was he actually hearing her right? Him, a model? Liang was many things, but he never considered himself a model. He blinked a few times, clearly caught off guard by the offer, and he began to weigh the decision.
It only took a few seconds.
There were too many positives to the situation to say no; being asked by an attractive woman to model for a magazine? Nice. Helping the Saiyan out (she did say ''we''...) would probably prolong his lifespan, so overall that was a fantastic idea too. He'd be getting to hang around Cipher and Porsalynne, another nice bonus, and he'd likely be paid as well, which was great. On top of all that, anyone who had subscribed to this magazine of theirs (and if his intuition wasn't failing him, it was mostly women, hence the need for male models) would now know that Liang's previously hermit-living self actually existed and was deemed attractive enough to be a model. Jackpot. ''That sounds like a lot of fun, actually! Count me in.'' It was clear he didn't fully grasp what he'd just agreed to, but he could burn that bridge when he crossed it. What mattered right now was money and self-advertising, damn it! He eyed Cipher and Porsalynne, chuckling as the female android volunteered Cipher for the same thing Liang had just willingly (and later, most likely regrettably) agreed to. As of right now there were no downsides to the situation, and he was excited to get the show on the road.

Kaula only grumbled out when she had heard the other woman's comment about class and what have her. She wouldn't ever be caught wearing one of those. No way, no how. They were weird.. And girly.. And stupid. She didn't like them at all, she thought as she crossed her arms. She let out a pout and began to blush as she thought about herself wearing one.. It was black.. Made of lace in so- NO. She huffed out, shaking her head. While Kaula was having her little tizzy fit, Nina smiled at Liang, "Well it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope my friend here-" she patted the shorter Saiyan's head, "-was polite enough." she said before letting the two of them consider her offer she left them. She started to wonder if they each knew exactly what this would mean, being a model of this kind. Still, eventually they both volunteered.. Or, rather in Cipher's case, someone volunteered him for it. Nina clapped her hands together happily, "Oh, of course! It'll be loads of fun! And you both made a lovely choice! Thank you both for volunteering! It'll be super easy and it won't take long at all! Now, what w-" she was cut off as a ringtone sounded out, accompanied by the buzz of a vibrating phone! "Oh, one second." Nina said as she took her phone out of her pocket, answering the call. "Yes, this is Nina." she'd say as the person on the other end seemed to be talking loudly. Nina looked towards Kaula for a moment. ".. Yeah. ... Really...?" She sighed for a moment, "Well.. Alright then. We'll be there shortly." she said before closing her phone. Kaula glanced up to her for a moment before Nina sighed again, "Well. We got to go, actually. A re shoot needs to be done. with this girly." she said before handing off some business cards to the two men. She started to drag Kaula away. Nina looked back and waved a bit, "Keep in touch! We'll give you some good times for when you want to get the pictures done!"

Cipher blinked as suddenly Nina began to pull Kaula away. Guess it was Cipher's lucky day. She would be busy with Kaula for a while. Cipher tried not to sigh in relief as Porsalynne pouted. She seemed to be really looking forward to it too. The female android gave her boyfriend a look that said 'this will happen, just you wait', before giving a small smile. "Well, guess we'd better head back. We've got plenty of work to do if we're to get the shop up and running." Cipher nodded, turning to Liang. "It was good to see you again. Next time I'm training in the gravity chamber, I need to remember to give you a call." He shifted the load he was carrying to give himself a free hand. He then wrapped it around Porsalynne, holding her close. The female android gave Liang a friendly wave before the pair flew up into the sky, a quick way back to their home.

By this point, Liang had cared far less about the fact that this was actually going to happen, and was way more psyched that he was handed a business card with this attractive woman's number on it. Giving himself an internal cheer at getting a number without outright asking for it, he seemed to be in higher spirits all of the sudden. Anyone who knew him well could probably tell why. With a dumbstruck look on his face as the two departed, his cheeks took on a small blush as he waved back, disregarding Kaula to wave at Nina. ''Ehehehe...bye bye! Take care!'' Quickly tucking the card into a pocket, he snapped back into proper clarity as Cipher spoke to him. ''It was nice to see you two also! Keep in touch. A call for the gravity chamber sounds like a fantastic idea. Just give me a heads up and i'll be there, buddy!'' Resuming his giddy demeanor as he withdrew the business card again, he smirked like a doofus as he read it over a few times, turning it back and forth. Looking up to see Nina finally disappearing off into the distance, he gestured one last wave as the pair of women faded from sight. ''Byyyyeeee....have fun being hot...'' He mumbled now that they were out of sight and earshot, and that Cipher and Porsalynne had taken off. A particularly burly man walked up to him from dead ahead on the sidewalk, stopping to look at him curiously. ''Did you say something?'' Liang honestly hadn't even noticed him. Peering up at him and hoping the man didn't hear, he blinked up at his large frame, slack-jawed. ''....Nope.'' Quickly turning on a heel, he trotted off in the opposite direction and looked behind him, noticing he was now being followed. Every time he quickened his pace, his new admirer matched it. ''NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!'' ''I heard what you said! Wait for meeee!'' ''NOPE!'' Tearing off around a corner, his feet thundered against the pavement before he blasted off into flight, weaving between a few buildings before streaking off into the sky like a comet. Wiping his brow nervously as he stuffed the card back into a pocket, he made his hasty and desperate exit from South City...
