Zexama was sprinting around looking for something to do, in disappointment she found nothing, as usual, for a very long time, she really felt like doing something rather then eat candy, she looked around some more and found a little boy running around, she chased after him and laughed friendfuly as did Zexama, they played a little game of tip before the party pooper named mum came in and took the boy away from Zexama.
She stood there bored again because of this human taking her new friend away so she could what? Torture him with vegetables? Yeah, probably. She continued to be bored before seeing a nearby candy shop her face lit up slightly, this would mean she would have to eat candy, but that was fine. She walked up to it still bored with a bland face that was lit up, wait what? She approached the door and pushed it open so she could walk in, inside was heaps of stuff that she could eat in less then a second.
She grabbed a few bars of chocolate and walked up to the counter, she dropped some Zeni on the bench and walked off not even waiting for the man to check, maybe she should of because instead of giving $4, she gave $153, but who cared. Zexama walked out of the shop and looked around chewing on her chocolate bars.

''Hurry up now. Do you think in a real fight, your opponent is just going to stand here like me? Focus!'' No sooner than when Li barked the final word of that order, the two students attacked him simultaneously. Weaving right and slipping through a quick punch and then catching the second student's kick, he grabbed the second by the arm after dropping his leg. Using his own leg in one fluid motion, he swept the first student from his feet and then turned, shoulder throwing the other onto the mat right next to him. ''Hey, not bad. You guys are getting better. I'm glad I popped in for a visit. Remember, though; just because your opponent looks vulnerable doesn't mean he is. He could be baiting you into dropping your guard, kind of like that.'' He helped the two students to their feet and gave them both a pat on the back before walking over to a bench, tossing them both a towel. ''I've got to head out for the day. There's a few things I need to take care of while i'm in town. Good seeing you all, though!'' He waved to the dojo as a few students walked him to the door, carrying on with small talk. He wasn't trying to be rude by looking like he was ignoring them; in truth, he had started to run low on food and was thinking about what kind of meal he was going to buy with his pay.
In order to raise some money to pay for the materials he needed to fix his own dojo, he'd taken up an instructional job at the martial arts club he'd previously attended before studying under his master. The pay was decent, and he was doing something he loved at least. He stepped out of the dojo with his bag slung over his shoulder, heading deeper into town to find somewhere to shop. He ended up at a small corner market with produce on display, and stocked up there. After paying, his next stop would be to buy some noodles and meat, but he'd made the mistake of shopping on an empty stomach; something his stomach now reminded him of with a rude grumble. He quickly caught the scent of a ramen shop, and made his way over. He sat down at a stool and ordered a bowl with mushrooms, pork, and a few vegetables, paying beforehand; he'd put in a lot of overtime lately regardless, so part of him felt like he deserved the nice treat of a hot meal. As he waited for the cook to work their magic, he peered around to take in the sights.
It wasn't often he'd have an extended stay in a populated area, so it was almost like new every time he popped into town; to that degree, he'd rarely spot a familiar face. So far, he hadn't seen anyone he could pick out of a crowd besides a few of the students learning from him at the club. He spotted a pink-colored being playing with a child, which brought a small smile to his face. He watched the two of them for a while and stifled a laugh when the boy's mother showed up, taking him away most likely to a bore-filled day of shopping. He took his eyes off of Zexama for a bit as he could smell his food was nearly done, and when he took another odd glance in the being's direction, she'd exited a candy shop with some chocolate in hand. His attention span was pleasantly severed when he was served his meal with a friendly smile, and he scooted a bit further up to avoid spilling any of his food on his gi. Hungry as he was, he went to dig straight in and ended up with a burnt mouth and tongue. He fanned at his mouth desperately with his hands, eyes watering, before the flailing stopped and he decided to give his food a little time to cool.
In the meantime, he started looking around for that pink person again...

Zexama looked around outside the shop and saw a man looking towards her, then he ate his food, and looked around for her, she was already confused about why this guy was looking at her so oddly, maybe he wanted to talk to her? Eh, only one way to find out. Zexama walked up to the shop he was in and looked at him oddly in return, she was already curious about who this guy was, maybe he was a secret agent spy trying to find her weakness and then kill her, That would be awesome! She snapped a few pieces chocolate of her bar and chewed them slowly while walking into the store, she looked at him as he had a shocked expression on his face, was he reacting to her or his own food?
She crooked her eyebrows at him demanding a explanation with this simple gesture before sighing and sitting next to the brown haired man, she remembered a movie that Uncle Scargot and Reikiko were watching one night how some person pushed a glass off the table to see if the other one was a ninja hinja thing. She thought that that was a good idea and she should test it out, she saw a glass of water that was empty so she rested her elbows on the table, no doubt being rude about it, and looked into his eyes, while doing this though her eyes reacted as the red parts enlarged and then regained to their natural position.
"Hello mister brown hair man, what's your problem?" She said this with a calm and polite voice but at the end of her question she moved her elbows down from the table and knocked the glass towards the ground with her left elbow, if this worked and the human caught it, he might be a ninja or an assassin trying to kill her, but if he didn't catch it she would most likely have to pay for the glass or just leave the bill on him and run as fast as possible.

It didn't take long for him to spot her again, and it was at that point he realized what he was doing was probably rude. Sure, he was somewhat curious as he hadn't seen many people that looked like her, but he probably should just mind his own business from that point forward. He turned back to his food which had now cooled down a little and took a large bite, chewing slowly. The chef had walked off into the back, most likely to prep some more ingredients for any other customers that showed up, and left their glass of water on the table. Gulping down his mouthful of food, he cleared his throat gently and went to dig into his meal for another delicious bite. While he'd never admit it to his face, this place's food blew Xiapai's out of the water; he'd have to sneak out of the dojo and avoid his previous instructor to catch a bite here more often! He took his second bite when out of the corner of his eye, something very pink had gotten very close. With noodles hanging out of his mouth, he turned to look, only to see the girl from before standing right there next to him.
His eyes widened in shock then rolled down and crossed to look at the noodles hanging out of his face, which he then sharply turned his head away and covered his mouth with his hands to hurriedly slurp them up. He wiped his mouth quickly and turned back to her, noting her crooked eyebrows that clearly demanded an explanation for his earlier staring. As he internally stumbled over a few words in his head, the girl let out a sigh and took a seat next to him. He tried his hardest not to look at her anymore, but it was pretty clear she felt insulted after Liang's curious gawking. She put her elbows up to rest on the table, and for a second, Li was tricked into thinking she was just going to order something to eat or drink and let her inquisitive glare serve as her side of an awkward conversation that didn't need to happen. As he went to take a third bite of his meal, however, she finally spoke up.
''M-my problem? Oh, there's no problem! Heheh. I was just kind of bored waiting for my food and I don't come into town much, so I was just watching things happen around me to pass the time, you know?'' He scratched at the back of his neck awkwardly but with a genuine smile, clearly not expecting her to strike up a conversation. He didn't notice it at the time, but as she moved her elbows, she slid the chef's glass of water off of the table; Li only saw it as it was midway to the ground. Being slick with water made it tough to get a hold on, and it slipped between both of his hands like a bar of soap before finally hitting the ground; luckily, it wasn't a loud noise as it had been so close between the ground and the young man's last attempt to grab it. The chef walked back out front around this time.
''Young man, have you seen my water? I usually leave it up here. I swear I can't be crazy...maybe I took it with me into the back, actually.'' Li's eyes widened a little bit and he quickly followed suit, not wanting to pay for the glass. It looked like an accident from as much as he caught of it happening, so he'd feel bad if the girl had to pay for it too. ''I, uhm, I haven't seen it up here, no. Maybe you poured it out for a refill, or maybe you took it to the back, like you said!'' ''Eh, you're probably right. Well, either way, enjoy! Just ring the bell if you or your friend there want anything, okay?'' With a quick understanding nod, Li sighed in relief as the chef vanished into the back again. He turned and gave a short, puzzled look to the girl. ''No big deal, right? It was an accident and all!'' While he clearly misunderstood, he did at least try and cover for her.

Zexama gave a small smirk at the human's way of making acquiescent, he made her laugh, but not in a 'your so weak that I could bash you because I'm Wyntre' way. She saw that the human had the capability to catch the glass but it must of been to slippery for him to catch it, hmm, this would be a good time to tease him. "Well, I was hoping that you would be able to catch that, I was testing you see, but I guess because you didn't catch it, you must be like all the rest of them, them humans."
She tried super hard not to laugh at her obviously fake insult, but it would not of been obvious to Liang, this was because of the way she said it, you see, she said it in a quite posh way with her chest and her head standing tall. She finally gave way a unleashed a playful laugh. "I'm just kidding with you, What's your name? I'm Zexama, Princes of the Candies."
She held her hand out to shake his while looking up at the man who looked a bit mad, he looked at the kid and had to refuse the temptation from her quick shift puppy eyes, Zexama used her antenna and stretched it into her pocket pulling out a few chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil, and put it on the table, the man looked at them and sighed as he thought the kid had new money, he could see in the young man's eye that he didn't want to make the girl pay so he shrugged his shoulders and gave in. "Ok fine, it's ok, as you said, it was just an accident.'
She then waited for him to shake her hand but if he did she would raise her hand and ask for a menu, she wondered in her head about what she should get for lunch, maybe a good dessert will do, that might make her even hungrier than before, she looked at the menu and saw a large fish entree to start off with. "Excuse me sir, I would like the large fish thingy entree stuff, and would you like anything?" Finishing her question with a tilt of the head towards Liang.

Li almost felt a little bad about the teasing after he couldn't catch the glass; in truth, he was just incredibly clumsy. He smiled at her after she stated she was just kidding, and laughed it off with her. She introduced herself in a friendly way much the opposite of her first look at him before testing him with the glass, extending her hand to him. He turned a bit more toward her and went to grasp her hand for a friendly shake, but apparently was too slow as she'd already raised her hand to request a menu. With a blank and puzzled look, he offered a brief pause in the conversation. ''She got me again! I must be really off the ball today...'' He thought to himself. After waiting for her to collect her menu, he spoke up again to finish his introduction, denied handshake or not. ''It's nice to meet you Zexama! My name's Liang, but you can call me Li for short; everyone else does, anyway. Quite a title you've got there.''
He watched as she went to pay for the glass, which the staff did notice after all. He was about ready to grab some of his own zeni to cover it up until Zexama reached into a pocket and pulled out some funny-looking coins. Narrowing his eyes to squint and see them a little more clearly, they looked sort of familiar; in fact, he saw a lot of those at the candy shop around here he'd only visited a few times before. Wait, was she trying to pay with chocolate!? His hand again went back toward his pocket to fetch some zeni, but he was cut off yet again midway through by the staff member agreeing that it had just been an accident and not to worry about it. Huffing a sigh of relief, Li bowed toward him in thanks from his seat, scooting his bowl of ramen closer to himself.
Li smiled, a little amused at her perusing through the menu. He was thinking of things he'd gotten here before that he could suggest to help her decide, but in the end she had decided on the ''large fish thingy entree stuff''. Li had no idea what she meant, but whatever it was, coming from this place meant it was probably pretty good. She turned to him and asked if he'd wanted anything, and he politely declined. ''Nah, thank you though. I got my food shortly before you came in here. I've got a pretty good amount left, too.'' He then remembered that she'd tried to cover the broken glass with candy, so he piped up quickly. ''Actually, I could pay for your meal if you want as thanks for the company.'' Then again, maybe she did actually carry zeni; who knows? Either way, he figured he should at least try and be polite. It wasn't every day he spent time around anyone besides Xiapai.

Zexama sat there smiling with her hands gently rested underneath her chin elbows fastened on the bench, she looked over at Liang and saw his face as if he had been tricked again, oh crap Zexama accidentally forgot to keep her hand for him to shake it, it seems she had accidentally made herself look badass. Zexama felt a bit bad, she had all this money she stole from banks and candy stores and now no one let her give it away, how rude! If only this guy would ask for everything on the menu, and now what, he makes her feel worse by saying he will pay for her, seriously? That would just make her even more of a bad guy since she had all this money and made humans pay for her. She shoved her hand in her mouth and pulled out about ten notes of the highest currency of zeni in the region, it was about total of 1,000,000zeni.
She put it on the table and waited for the man to return, she looked over to Liang and handed him about 1,000zeni. "Thanks for offering but I'm afraid I have done some bad stuff in the past, it seems this is the best way to get me back into the good guys club, anyway, you seem to be pretty nice, wouldn't mind keeping you as a friend." Zexama smiled at him and picked up the glass shards with her antenna, she wrapped the pink string like limb firmly around them before dropping a few Zexaras in front of herself and Liang. ((If you don't know what they are, they are basically chocolate with chocolate and chocolate and some more chocolate on them, zero fat.))
She started eating her Zexaras before the chef came out of the back kitchen with a large platter with two plates, hmm strange, it seemed the chef thought that the meal was for the both of them, anyway, when the chef placed the platter on the bench he put the plates on either side and picked up the money expecting it to only be the normal price, then when he looked at it he dropped to the ground and fainted, some screamed lunatic girl on the other side of the store was screaming off her lungs, Zexama sat there poking her seafood and turning it into various candy.

It wasn't exactly a secret that Liang had been on a tight budget for quite some time, if he even had enough funds pooled to call for a need to label it a budget at all. After his personal shopping and purchasing some better training equipment, he'd soon burned through just about all the money he had, and this meal he'd paid for wasn't helping; at the same time however he did enjoy being polite, so what meager funding he had left he didn't mind sparing to pay for this new friend's meal. As he sat finishing the meager remains of his food and scooted the empty dish toward the chef's side of the counter, he caught Zexama handing him something out of the corner of his vision. His jaw nearly dropped when he saw her pull out the notes of currency. How in the world could she be that loaded!? He opened his mouth slightly to ask before deciding to leave it to mystery, especially when she offered him candy too. Admittedly he was still pretty hungry; he'd ordered one of the lower-priced dishes and simply added a few things to spice it up a bit to avoid it getting bland halfway through. He nodded with a smile as he accepted the note, turning to bow in gratitude slightly in his seat. ''Well thank you very much Zexama, that's very generous of you! If you're trying to make up for past misdeeds i'd say you're on a great track.''
In truth he didn't want to take her money out of sheer politeness, but something deep down told him she wouldn't let him leave the place without it. While he really didn't want to spoil his meal plan as he'd been eating much healthier lately, a different side of his mind told him he deserved a treat for all of his difficult training. That, and he didn't want to offend her by refusing. He took the candy offered to him, still hungry from his snack-sized bite to eat he'd ordered, and was about to eat one until he saw the chef arrive with two plates. Apparently, whatever Zexama had ordered served two. He sat a plate in front of them both but Li didn't dig in just yet, making sure it was alright with her. She was a quirky being, that was a sure thing; for all he knew she could eat all of this and then some in one sitting. When the chef saw the stack of notes she'd paid with he fainted on the spot, causing a female staff member to scream hysterically. Li bit down on his tongue watching the scene unfold, his eyes darting from Zexama who didn't seem to mind, to the out cold chef, and to the woman in the back a few times as he sat there contemplating the situation.
Finally after a few moments a younger man stepped out and grasped the unconscious chef by his wrists, dragging him across the floor with a slipping noise against the floor into the room he himself had just exited. Li noted the sound of a fan and a bucket filling with water, then the comical splash of cold water to jolt the older fellow awake. Li brought his fist up to his mouth to stifle a laugh, a few hysterical bits of noise escaping his lips before he composed himself and looked to Zexama. ''You're going to eat both of these? Wow, I have to say i'm impressed. Or did the dish you ordered say it served two?'' He scratched his head quzzically, leaving the food alone until he received his answer. In the meantime, he remembered her slightly previous comment about keeping him as a friend causing him to offer a warm smile in response. ''I like the sound of that. You're a fun person to be around. I think i'd like to keep you as a friend too, Zexama.''
