Name:
Oriax
Alias: Ravager of Fields, Annihilator of Souls, and Eater of Worlds (names he applies to himself), "Who?" (everyone else he encounters), That Dude who Looks like a Lady (by casual passerby's)
Species:
Full Demon
Gender:
Insists he's a male, despite his feminine, curvy body
Age:
Physically, three, though he has the experience of someone in their 20's...and the maturity of a twelve-year-old boy going through a power trip.
Appearance:
This twisted figure is a short male, slouched frame. He has twin horns that fan out like a frill from the crown of his head, out a solid food behind him, curled upward toward the heavens. His eyes are a shade of scarlet with wide, dark pupils. He is in possession of an adorable baby-face, however, which off-puts his demonic appearance.
His slim, lithe body further undermines his fearsome appearance. Despite the red fur that coats his frame, Oriax's body has very little width. It's rather slim. The only width is around his hips and bust, which, surprisingly, are awfully curvy. This leads many people to believe Oriax is a woman. One look at him naked, however, would prove otherwise. Most, thankfully, never experience this, primarily due to the fact that Oriax likes to wear clothing.
His face is often in a slight pout, though, when enraged, his face twists into a demonic snarl. When relaxed, his aura remains invisible. However, when he unleashes his power, a fearsome hellfire sprays from his system, ensnaring the air, igniting it (harmlessly) to produce the likeness of eyes, glaring in all directions. The effect is entirely superficial, but known to be very off-putting.
History:
Oriax was a failed concoction. Created by mixing demonic energies by a Namekian named Xylophone, Oriax failed to meet Xylophone's expectations. Rather than an Eater of Souls to avenge Xylophone against his enemies, he found a tiny infant barely able to summon even the most noticeable of sparks. In his rage, Xylophone triggered a fatal aneurysm, and died at Oriax's feet.
What Xylophone did not realize was that Oriax, despite newborn, was a sentient creature who, almost immediately, took credit for Xylophone's death--he whacked Xylophone's skull enough times to make it look like he did the deed. Xylophone's adversaries welcomed Oriax, and, for a time, trained the little demon in the art of martial arts. What Oriax thought was true experience, however, turned out to be mostly useless. Xylophone's enemies were not master martial artists, but students who had failed to pass the most basic exams.
When Oriax slaughtered them, he really was doing the world a favor by eliminating them from the gene pool.
From there, Oriax traveled, world to world, hoping to spread his legacy across the stars. Sadly, his "legacy" mostly consisted of failures so pathetic that even he couldn't spin them in any meaningful way to make himself appear even remotely threatening--save for one occasion where, while trying to destroy a planet, accidentally broke a ship's steering system, sending a ship of alien pirates uncontrollably into the sun. He made sure to milk his "victory" for all its worth.
Starting Planet: Namek
Techniques:
Offensive
Stormbringer [N1] - Oriax's aura summons columns of flame from the Earth, shredding the ground underneath his target's feet. However, he usually pretends that he will fire a beam attack when using this, in order to divert the target's attention from the blast boiling under their toes.
Stormbringer Cage [V2] - Rather than merely a spike underneath them, the single Stormbringer is accompanied by SEVERAL spikes that rise up and interlock--like a cage--bottling the target in before closing in on them from all sides.
Support
Visions of Hell [S1] - Oriax spreads his aura field around the battlefield, summoning visions of Hell--nightmares that play on the target's fear. If Oriax does research on the adversary, he can even depict that character's phobias. However, by nature this attack is non-damaging. Depending on the psychological state of the enemy--specifically, the grasp of reality this character holds--the effect can have a devastating effect on their psyche, distracting them entirely while Oriax triggers a dangerous blow. However, level-headed characters might see through the illusions fairly easily, and attack Oriax while he maintains the visions.
