When Aina described her sister's trigger moment, Gira blinked. That was... significantly more distressing than her own. "Wow... that's really sad. My sensei was the one who forced me to transform. He pretended to kill a friend of mine, and that sent me over the edge." At Aina speaking of Vi-Poi and how she really only listened to him when he was handing out orders, the hybrid frowned and crossed her arms. "That sounds like a sad existence... sorry to say. I've never understood the concept of orders and leaders. Actually... it's more like I don't agree with those sorts of things. If a superior ordered you to massacre a planet, would you do it? I certainly wouldn't. The concept of obeying orders without question, and the knowledge that there are people like that out there... it's scary."
Noticing the shooting star, Gira let out an "oooh" in awe. Despite all the serious subjects being brought up, it really was a nice night. While Aina removed her knives and set them aside, Gira pulled out another granola bar and began to chow down. Talking really made her hungry. Then again, everything seemed to make her hungry. Having Saiyan blood flowing through one's veins could be so damn inconvenient sometimes. Great at other times, though. She brought her gaze towards Aina when she asked a question. A rather important question and one that caused Gira to grin with excitement, a mouthful of granola. She asked if she would be allowed to be brought to speak with the Kami when she returned to the planet. She wanted to join the Z-Fighters and help out.
Her words were almost inspiring Hearing that someone wanted to protect the world she loved so much made her incredibly happy. "Of course!" The excitement in her voice was evident with those two words. "I'm sure you'll be allowed to join up. Who could say no to you when you put it that way?" This was an exciting time. Having another person around to protect the planet was going to be important. Especially in times like this. "You know, i've heard that people consider the Z-Fighters irrelevant now. The new blood-- people like you and me-- we're gonna prove 'em wrong."

“I doubt I could actually have controlled myself if I had hit that level of rage and anger toward someone. If someone killed my mother in front of me I would snap and nothing would be left of the person who did it.”[/color] Speaking with a sharpness to her words that would understate just how serious she was about the words. In the moment it was as if she was promising herself that this was going to be the exact truth that she had just committed to. A few breathes came and went from her lips as Gira spoke once more. Listening Aina’s hand would tighten into a fist. “If someone… attempted to order me to do that I would kill them for ordering me to do that or I would die attempting to stop them from doing it. There is no honor in a massacre of an entire planet, an entire race eliminated. That is not humane that is nothing but barbaric.” There was no mincing of words or thought as to her core Aina had her sense of justice and honor. Doing something so extreme as an extermination mission would not be something she would do nor enjoy. So, she would stand up against any who did such things. Even if her fate was sealed by standing up like that. She would nod alongside Gira about how they would prove every single person wrong. It was true Aina was going to help do this. One day and one moment at a time she would continue to push forward. “Then I await the day that I come to wherever you gather and I join up with you and the others. Despite my place here within the KAOS I. honestly feel that I need to be there to protect the planet should it ever need it. With the BBA or the Z Fighters. Whoever is going to be there to fight for this planet is who I will fight alongside.” Slowly she spoke the words simple and yet truthful. For her and for the life of the future she would not hold anything back. For the defense of Earth, she would go on but something hit her as she sat there. She remembered something and now she figured she would divulge this information to Gira as a sign of their burgeoning friendship. “My sister would honestly be proud that Articho is training a student like you. Ninjin always told me that the greatest moments of her life besides the birth of her children was when she trained all those that she had as Hermit. Each of them special in their own way but Arti. She always told me that he had just something special. It was a joy for her to see him surpass her completely and push himself to new heights beyond even she could reach.” { Gira )

While the exact nature of Aina's response made Gira slightly uncomfortable, she was happy to hear that she wasn't the type to just blindly follow orders. While the hybrid didn't really think Aina was the type to follow an order like that, it was still good to get confirmation. "That's a relief. We should use our strength to protect the innocent, not slaughter them." She grinned at Aina. "Y'know, I feel like we're gonna be real good friends. Call it a hunch." She took one big bite of her granola bar, finishing it completely in one bite, throwing the second wrapper in the fire. "Well, it's good to hear you're on our side. We're gonna do our best to protect this planet together!"
Gira was getting excited thinking about the future. It looked bright indeed, with a new recruit for their merry band of heroes incoming. The Z-Fighters would be brought back to relevance with all this new blood coming in. Gira had begun to have doubts, but now she was absolutely certain that they would be able to protect this world better than ever before. Then Aina said something that made the teen's heart feel even warmer. That her sister, the former Turtle Hermit, would be proud to know that Articho was training someone like her. She averted her gaze shyly as Aina spoke, responding when she was finished. "Heh, thanks."
Gira smiled warmly at the other hybrid. "He is special. Haven't met a warrior or a teacher quite like him. Honestly, i'm proud to be his student. I don't know if I would have gotten to the level i'm at today without him. Seeing how strong he is makes me want to become stronger myself. I still remember the first time I saw him as a Super Saiyan. Seeing that made me wanna achieve that form myself. I worked harder than ever before after that and I eventually made it with his help. I hope I can learn a lot more from him. He makes me feel like there's no limit to how strong I can get."

When Gira spoke about that the two of them are more than likely going to be good friends. This would give her a wide smile and it was obvious that this was true. The simple way that the two of them acted around one another that they would be friends. “I believe you are right. The two of us will be good friends. Also I am hoping that we do not need to actually protect the planet. More that we are going to be able to depend on our strength as a deterrant to anyone coming after the plane waits til after our children take over for us.”
Hearing her speak about Articho mirrored a lot of what her sister had told her. All of this drew a wide smile onto the Kagami’s face. Turning she grabbed a stick and turned to poke at the fire. “I hope I get the chance to learn from him myself. I bought the gi and everything to actually learn. Hopefully same day we can spar with one another.”
Pulling the thicker piece of lumber away from the fire and sticking it back into the ground she let out a light sigh. She was fully relaxed for now but should something happen and a back and forth of a spar could come up she would be fine with that.

"Right." Gira chuckled when Aina mentioned that it was better to deter any villains looking to cause trouble with their strength than to actually fight and defeat them. "I agree. I mean, I love a good fight, but i'd rather have those fights outside of my home, where isn't quite as much of a risk." Them mention of passing a responsibility like that down to her children made her think. Would she have children? If so, would they be fighters like her? These sorts of things never crossed the young hybrid's mind before. Probably because she was young still. Come to think of it, she never thought about the far future in general all that much. Gira was the kind of person who lived in the moment. The future would come in time, and when it did, she would deal with what it brought at that very moment. She wouldn't overthink it before the time even came, however.
The teen was snapped out of her thoughts by Aina mentioning that she had bought everything required to learn from Articho, and hoped that they could spar together one day. A huge grin spread across her face once her new friend said that. "Why don't we spar together right now? I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at all interested in seeing your power. I can show you mine too."
Sooo sorry for the wait. I haven't had much time for anything other than tournament posts this past week or so. D:

{{ It is all good. Figured that you were focused on the tourney. }}
“That is so true. Easier to clean up as well when it is away from our homes.” She responded with a very light chuckle. Obviously that she had fully relaxed around the similar aged woman to herself. For once that she was not all that put off by the person accompanying her in the moment. Blinking her ruby eyes once more she would not have much to say in the moment. As Gira mentioned possible sparring her now she would get a smile that Gira would recognize as one she had seen on other saiyans.
“I would love it. I will leave my knives off to the side so long as you promise to lay off the lethal stuff as well?” Speaking as she glanced around the property for a place to actually spar for a bit. Peering over inside of the light of the fire a clearing about thirty feet away from the pit that her mother had used for her space pod but would be good for a quick spar.
Lifting her hand she pointed to the spot that was visible. Slowly standing from the sitting position she would dust herself off. Taking a few moments to collect herself she would chime up. “Let us head over there. Think my mother used it as her launch pad for her pod. Going to be a good place to spar if I had to say.”

Gira almost wanted to jump for joy when Aina accepted her challenge. When she said she'd leave her knives behind if Gira also didn't try anything lethal on her, the hybrid leaped to her feet and gave her new friend several excited nods. "Yeah! You bet. I don't wanna kill you when we've just met." She paused, realizing how that sounded. "Well, I don't wanna kill you at all really." She chuckled and moved her fingers through the hair on the back of her head nervously. She had begun looking for a good place to spar around the same time Aina was. Sparring so close to her abode probably wasn't a good idea. At her full power, Gira could shatter a planet, so it would probably be a good idea to pick out a spot a fair distance away even though she didn't plan on going at Aina with every last ounce of her strength.
Finally, a spot was picked out; a clearing about thirty feet away from them. Once her new friend picked it out, Gira gave her a nod of approval. "Looks good. Nice, open space. Not too close to anything important. Nice job." The teen gave Aina a thumbs up before taking to the air and flying towards their chosen sparring grounds, landing on the ground and beginning her pre-battle stretches.

Once more Aina would laugh as Gira seemed to stumble over herself as she spoke. It seemed it was yet another thing that the young women had in common. Shaking her head as she moved to the clearing. Walking in she would grab a pair of gloves from her side. Sliding on the black leather gloves she straightened them on her hands. As Gira flew over she would walk over and into the clearing. Passing the tree line she stopped as Gira would come and land.
Taking several breaths she would calm herself down as it was unusual to want to fight someone in a friendly spar. Standing there she would rub the side of her head. “Well my mother used this clearing for her spaceship. So I figure she has strengthened it to withstand that so our fight shouldn’t do much.”
Rolling her shoulder lightly she would glance about and notice the slight stand in the ground. Walking over to it she would look it over as she shook her head and pulled the marker from the ground. Moving it aside from the clearing. Setting it against a tree she moved back to the same spot as before moving the rod out of the way. “Figured she would leave the connection on the ground when she left. Going to have to put that away after we are done. So are there any rules you wish to have for our little spar?”

Gira continued stretching as Aina spoke of how her mother used this place as a sort of landing ground for her spaceship. If this place could endure the landing of a ship, they should be able to spar here without much fear. "Alright! I'm not gonna go all out. Unless you want me to, that is." She chuckled. "You know as well as I do how powerful a Super Saiyan is." When asked if she had any rules in mind for their fight, Gira stopped her stretching, cracking her neck once and stretching her arms a bit before responding with a big grin. "Why should we have rules? They make things less fun in my experience. But, uh... let's not kill or horribly maim each other? That seems like the only rule we really need."
She laughed. The hybrid slipped into her battle stance once she was ready. "Why don't you come at me first? Show me what you can do?" Gira was excited to test out the power of her new friend. At this point, sparring against a person was almost like a handshake to her at this point. All of the people she considered friends she had fought at least once. It was almost a formality. The hybrid tensed up and heightened her awareness, preparing for battle.

“Let us just go as hard as we can… Well I will go all out as I got this feeling that even if I go full bore you will be out in front of me in this spar. As for rules.. Yeah I agree. Rules are for formal fights and this is just one between a couple of friends right?” Smirking and chuckling ever so slightly she would slip into her own stance. In a moment she would be upon Gira. Swinging in a obviously military trained style of fighting combination of punches and kicks. A quick combination of strikes she spun away from Gira.
Rolling away on her heel she planted her foot and spun as fast as she could. With a moment she stopped and aimed the kick at Gira’s side in a sweeping motion. If she made contact she would fire off a ki blast right at Gira’s face.

"As hard as we can?" Gira found herself grinning after Aina said that. She wasn't going to use her Super Saiyan form at first, but the Kagami's words made they hybrid want to show Aina her full strength. They would work up to it, though. It wouldn't be any fun if she just gave it everything she had right off the bat. "Okay! Let's get this party started. I wanna see what you can do." Quickly, Gira's opponent approached, aiming a successive combination of strikes at her in an obviously trained, military style. Gira dodged the first few blows, raising her arms to block the others. The spinning kick made contact with the hybrid's side, however, causing her to grunt quietly with the force.
She looked at Aina and smiled. "My turn." She would lash out with a punch first, aiming to send Aina flying a ways. Chasing after her, the teen flew in her direction, coming at her with a flurry of punches and kicks. Gira's style was much less ordered than the her fellow hybrid's. It was a style unlike anything Aina would have seen before. This was, of course, because it was a style of Gira's own creation to take full advantage of her Turtle Style techniques. She would showcase those in time, of course, but she was simply warming up for now. Soon, however, the real fight would begin.

With her kick connecting she was confident that she had actually done something to Gira. Yet when she did nothing but make her retaliate. The fist impacted her like a thundering hamer impacting her crossed arms. The strike sent her flying and she tried to regather her senses as best as she could. The exact moment she had started this Gira was onto her with a combination of strikes and kicks. The more wild style of Gira was something she had not been expecting. In her mind the fact that she was a Turtle student had made Aina begin to think about her sister and her fighting style. Yet this was not at all the situation she found herself in.
Spinning she caught one of the final kicks with her arm. In a moment she spun and tossed her aside as best she could. Getting the slightest bit of distance she would reach down and grab a small metal baton from her side. The baton would flicker to life with ki as she would spin the baton to a backward grasp. Moving in she would pepper in strikes from the ki baton. Each of the strikes would come with rapid succession and she would hammer the strikes toward her joints as best as she could. “I know full well that you are stronger than this… It almost feels like you are toying with me.”

Gira's assault went off much better than she anticipated, each blow laying heavy upon Aina before she caught the teen's final kick, tossing her aside to put a fair amount of distance between the two of them. Gira landed up right, stretching casually with an excited grin on her face as Aina produced a baton crackling with ki. "Oooh, that's interesting. Never seen someone wield a weapon like that in combat before. I'm gonna have to get me one of those." With that, Gira's opponent was upon her, aiming to strike her joints with the baton.
The hybrid blocked each of the blows with her forearm, mitigating the majority of the damage. "Toying with you? Yeah, I guess that's fair. I prefer to call it warming up, though. I wanna see what all you can do first before I really start to get serious." Gira smiled slyly before aiming a quick palm strike at Aina's chest, aiming to push her backwards before a violet aura erupted around her body, the hybrid flying through the air and towards her target. It looked like a frontal assault, but at the last second, Gira vanished from view, reappearing behind the other hybrid and aiming a swift kick at the back of her neck.

“I try to be ready for any situation… Yet when people are stronger it is hard to make these all work all that way.” She would retort as she continued to swing at her. Hoping to make an impact at any place at all on Gire hoping to do anything to the stronger woman. Watching her weapon basically spark from time to time as it hit Gira and yet did nothing to her. This was a little disheartening as she would try to block the palm strike. Her arms tingled as the ki impacted her arms and sent her back a few feet. Moving to the defense once more as she felt the frontal assault coming.
Yet the block was not needed as Gira vanished in front of her. In her mind instantly she felt Lhinith scream out for her to turn around and yet she was unable to do it in time. The kick slammed into the back of her neck and she spun through the air and slammed into the ground. The baton falling from her hand and clattering to the ground as she impacted into the ground. After a few moments she slowly stood up from the small crater that Gira had just placed her inside of. “Yup… Knew you were that strong, but that is ridiculous.”
Standing she would tighten her grip on her gloves as from Aina another voice could be heard. “Let us show her our true power Aina. For once in harmony…” Nodding Aina’s aura would erupt in strength which for her was impressive. Yet compared to Gira this was nothing but being an equal to her base strength. Bursting forward Aina would begin the brawl once more. A sweeping kick aimed at her stomach.
